I do have SR but hoping i can get quicker answer hereYou may always escalate the SR if you are not getting response timely. Anyways, give the reference of this thread in the SR and ask service engineer to file a bug.
I will email you the wire messageI saw the wire message you mailed across. There are some junk characters in the starting of the payload and that's why parsing is failing. Most probably it is a BOM (Byte Order Mark). Ask your TP to send messages in UTF-8 encoding without BOM or any other junk character in the starting of the message. You may open the wire message payload you mailed across in notepad or textpad and you will able to see those junk characters in the starting of the payload.

  • Avahi conflicts with nss-mdns. [solved]

I'm confused.  Went to update today, and got this message:
    :: avahi conflicts with nss-mdns. Remove nss-mdns? [Y/n]
I thought 'Fair enough...' but I always check packages like this with -Si to know what's actually happening in my system.  Soo, I run:
    $ pacman -Si avahi
    Repository : extra
    Name : avahi
    Version : 0.6.6-2
    Groups : None
    Provides : howl mdnsresponder
Depends On : dbus libcap libdaemon nss-mdns
    Conflicts With : howl mdnsresponder
    Replaces : None
    Size (compressed) : 557952
    Description : A multicast/unicast DNS-SD framework
    MD5 Sum : 52ec5424dde107d8099637feb3076925
Now, this is why I'm confused.  -Si tells me avahi depends on nss-mdns.  When I try to install, it tells me they conflict.
    So.... which is right?
    -=edit=-
Okay, I've found something else out that may be pertinent.  Currently, the packages I have for avahi and nss-mdns depend on each other.  That is:
    $pacman -Si nss-mdns avahi
    Name : nss-mdns
    Version : 0.7-3
    Depends On : avahi
    Required By : avahi kdelibs
    Name : avahi
    Version : 0.6.5-1
Depends On : dbus libcap libdaemon nss-mdns
    Required By : nss-mdns
However there are new packages for both avahi and nss-mdns available in the repos. (0.7-4 and 6.6-2 respectively)
The thing is, pacman isn't picking up the new nss-mdns package with a -Syu operation, and gives me that conflicts line... I'm going to try updating nss-mdns first then see if that fixes it.
    -=edit again=-
Geez, I hate it when I post something and moments later figure it out myself.  The newest versions of nss-mdns and avahi break the dependancy cycle I noted above; that is, nss-mdns no longer depends on avahi.  If I manually updated nss-mdns first, pacman now installs avahi with no problem.
I'm wondering, is this worth a bug report?  I'm not surprised a cyclic dependancy like that would cause wierd behaviour...

You get that error because they DO conflict.  Do you have mdnsresponder installed?
If so, and you want avahi, then you'll have to remove mdnsresponder and install avahi.

  • How to transfer encrypted file using B2B sftp with custom doc over generic

    hi ,
we have a requirement to get and send an encrypted file to/from our trading partner.
Previously we configured B2B sftp with custom doc. over generic exchange protocol to get a text file and used 1st 11 charecters in the file as identifier for the TPA configuration and successfully processed the file. Since we are getting an encrypted file , we need to find a way to identify the TPA config. .
Please reply to this thread if you have any suggestions. Pls. feel free to ask if you need more information to understand the situation.
    thanks
    srini

    hi Ramesh,
I have sent mail to you . We are actually using file name convensions but we are using internal delivery as B2B InQuueue . And when we use custom document over generic exchange , in the paramenters we do not see any file name property. i hava also sent you the TPA so that you can get idea of the configuration we did.
    thanks

  • B2B : Integration with SOA

    Hi gurus,
i want to test the B2B Integration with SOA. I am using
    Document Protocol : EDI_X12
Document type : 850 (Purchase Order)
    Version: 4010
    B2B version: 11.1.1.5.0
    Weblogic server : 10.3.5
    Probelm Description:
I am working on Integration effort. I have created a SOA composite , A file adapter is configured for polling EDI native xml from local file location and a B2B send Adapter is configured for sending the EDI native xml data to the B2B console. And I have used Mediator as component. Now in B2B console, I have configured an Agreement which will translate the EDI native xml to EDI native data and send it to a FTP location (Generic FTP channel is created). And another B2B listening channel is listening the loaction and performs the B2B Inbound Operation.
This scenario is working fine but the problem is the EDI native data , which is generated from B2B console is not in proper format.
    Data:
    * ISA~00~ ~00~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~110926~1552~U~00401~100000011~0~P~\ *
    GS~PO~  ~  ~20110926~1552~1011~X~004010
    ST~850~0001
    BEG~00~AB~P~~20110913
    PO1~A
    SE~4~0001
    GE~1~1011
    IEA~1~100000011
some fields of ISA and GS segments are not generated , thats why my B2B Inbound Operation is getting hampered , it always throws error.
B2B Inbound operation is working fine when i am putting EDI_Native data in that location manually.
    My Expected data is :
    ===========================
    ISA~00~Authorizat~00~Security I~01~Interchange Sen~01~Interchange Rec~110913~1725~U~00401~000000001~0~P~\

    ST~850~0001
    BEG~00~AB~P~~20110913
    PO1~A
    SE~4~0001
    GE~1~1
    IEA~1~000000001
How will I get it ?
Any suggestion would be helpful to me..
    thanks in adv.
    Sharmistha

    Hi Sharmistha,
I think you have not added the EDI identifiers (EDI Goup Id, EDI Interchange ID, EDI Interchange ID Qualifier ) in the outbound agreement. Make sure that you are adding all three in both the trading partner profiles while creating the agreement. Save, validate, deploy the agreements after adding these in the agreements and try a test again.
You may use "Ctrl" or "Shift" button of keyboard to select more than one identifiers at a time. You need to also add the same in inbound agreement.
    Regards,
    Anuj

  • B2B - Email with XML attachment - Error in reading the xml file

    Hello,
We have a requirement where an application sends an email with an xml attachment to a Lotus Notes (IMAP) mail box. I have configured the Partner, Agreements and Listening Channel to pick up the file from the mail box. Looks like when B2B is trying to read / store attachment, it errors out, there is no instance in B2B created. Looking at the logs, the file content is not read as XML, instead it seems like a text. When B2B tries to read the attachment it is not xml, there are no error messages as well.
The "Content type" in the Listening Channel is set to blank, so B2B can decide appropriate content type. Should this be set?
Could some one tell me what is wrong, not sure what is missing in the configuration.
    Thanks,
    Venkatesh

    Thanks Anuj,
After setting the property, I am no longer receiving the error, however, still fails with a different error, "Exception occurs in conversion from mail to TransportMessage. Please make sure the message sent is in correct format." and "TransportMessage cannot be created from mail. Skip this mail."
The error appears after / while, executing, IMAPMonitor.saveAttachment():
Is this a problem with the attachment or the email?

  • I have a Nokia N97. I'm looking for a smartphone that is Blue tick approved for reception in rural Australia, which means only Telstra Next G. I would appreciate hearing about any smart phone with gd rural reception, and esp new versions of Android

There are reports of some 3G, or NextG ph's without a blue tick, with as good a reception as the blue ticks. This may include iphone, HTC Desire, and a new to Telstra shop Motorola Defy, that has a blue tick. Telstra staff are not able to give any information re upcoming models of smart phone + good rural reception

I was just having a look back at this post on the Q + A Session and had two thoughts:
    - Did Nokia ever address the questions that they deferred by saying they will get back to them later?
    - On Q9 the answer from the engineers that it was not an easy task to get Virtual RAM is a cop-out.
They admitted that the c: drive has memory paging and that this make apps run faster and smoother. That implies that apps installed on the mass memory won't run as fast or smoothly. I suspect that a lot of problems with apps are caused by being installed on the mass memory.
So where does that leave N97 owners, Nokia are very unlikely (like a snowballs chance in...) to recall N97s to have more memory fitted, so it goes without saying that Nokia should work on Virtual RAM from the Mass Memory as long as this can be accessed as fast as the c: drive (I don't know if this is even technically possible).
The decision to put such a small c: drive on the N97 was a terrible one, especially when you consider the position of this flagship device in relation to Nokia's move towards service with the Ovi Store and the additional overhead of the homescreen with widgets. Nokia all but acknowledged this by increasing the c: drive in the N97 mini. All I can hope is that Nokia have learnt from the bad publicity that this penny pinching exercise has caused and that whoever made the decision has either lost their job or been demoted to the most junior position in the company.
    Frustrated N97 owner.

  • B2B integration with just one trading partner using a dedicated VPN channel

    Hi colleagues,
We are working in a B2B integration escenario, where our company will just integrate with a service provider using a dedicated VPN channel, so we won't go out to internet, for that B2B communication we have identified 10 inbound + 9 outbound interfaces.
Do we need to look into implemeting an document exchange protocol for that? Of course we need some ACK mechanism as there'll be SLAs in place. If so, what would it be the most appropiate? I've been reading about ebxml, rosettanet etc but still not very clear for me which level of customization you'll need in order to apply those protocols. If this is much and given the fact that we are just dealing with a trading partner and we won't scale this platform to use more parther in the future, would it be worthy to customize our own ACK mechanism?
If relevant, in our side we use oracle fussion middleware, the trading partnel is using SAP IS-U. The message format will be standard XML, we haven't identified the need of any other formatting at the moment such EDI.
I know this is a very open question, so any advices or recommendations on that are highly appreciated.
    Regards,

    Hello Dipal,
There is a lilttle catch. Eventhough your Delivery channel which is used in the agreement for a specific trading partner specifies some IP/Port, you can dynamically send the message to some other IP as well. This is specified in the document.
This will give a flexibility of sending the HL7 message not just to the end point which is mentioned in the agreement but also to any othere ip/port as driven by the ACTION_NAME field in the IP_MESSAGE type. However ACTION_NAME filed overrides the delivery channel information, hence at any point of time you can
    1. Send a message to the end point mentioned in the delivery channel and used in the agreement. In this case ACTION_NAME is null or
    2. Any dynamic end point driven by the ACTION_NAME.
    Hope this is clear.

  • Iphone with so-so reception

Okay, so here is what my problem is.  I can compare my phone with an identical iphone and their reception will be far better than mine.  I have even went so far as to compare to my girlfriend and mama's iphones,  theirs having the exact same bars and 3G indicators, while mine shows 2 bars with the little circle thing.  I am also in the extended network a good amount of time, while their phones show to be on verizons network.  It is quite aggravating as i dont receive notifications and such until i get full 3G service, which is not that often it seems anymore.  I have only had this phone for a little over a month and so far all I can say is that the iPod is great, the rest, not so much.  Has anybody else experienced this problem?

I can definitely help with your signal issue.  It's likely that the device just needs to be reprogrammed.  All you need to do is dial *228 send> option 1. This will reprogram your phone to the network. There are also some settings that you may want to reset. Go to settings> general> reset> reset network settings.  This will clear out any faulty programming and you can try the *228> option 1 again.
Give the above shots a try and let us know how it works.

  • Order Type Group - CRM 7.0 B2B Ecommerce with ERP Sales Order Scenario

    Hello Experts
Scenario: CRM 7.0 with ERP Sales Order
How can we use ORDER TYPE GROUP in CRM 7.0 B2B E-commerce with ERP sales order?
With CRM as a back end this ORDER TYPE GROUP functionality is available as OOTB, but with ECC as a back end is this available?
As per out understanding, we can use more than one TRANSACTION TYPE by seperating the TRANSACTION TYPES by COMMA in shopadmin? Is it a right understanding?
Kindly let us know if we have ORDER TYPE GROUP functionality in CRM 7.0 B2B E-commerce with ERP sales order?
    Thanks and Regards
    DJ

    Hi DJ,
In fact the Order Type Group is only available when you are connected to CRM Backend. For ERP Webshops, you only have the option to add the Order Types separated by coma.
In addition, be aware that B2B only supports Sales Document with category "C - Sales Orders" on ERP backends, for example:Credit Memo Requests won't work. For more information, I created Note 1567713 that explain the restrictions.
    Kind Regards,

  • Is my Macbook Pro the only one with lousy wireless reception/coverage

    Hi,
I was expecting great things when i received my Macbook Pro last week. I was also prepared to go through a lot of testing for sound issues and heat, as i've read from so many other posts (my MBP seem to have none of these issues in any major way).
I used to work on my Powerbook G4 from 2005 which had a decent wireless reception (even compared to my wife's ibook G4).
But this macbook has the worst wireless reception i've ever seen! When running istumbler on both machines (PB, and MBP) and placing them side-by-side i'm getting a major difference in signal strength.
This is also basically what i see everywhere else with this MBP.
At the same time the MBP has problems connecting to Closed networks (airport extreme AP) and apparantly also lots of other wireless issues with authentication.
Am i the only experiencing this ?
    Best Regards,
    Lasse,
    MBP 2.16, Powerbook G4, Ibook G4, Ibook G3   Mac OS X (10.4.6)
    Powerbook G4, Tiger   Mac OS X (10.4.2)

I'm curious, when did you get your MBP and what is the serial number of your MBP?
    Thanks
i read early on that with the new antenna placement
and whatnot that the macbook pro was going to get far
better reception than the older powerbooks. this may
be true, because i've seen some powerbooks get bad
wireless reception, but my macbook pro gets about the
same reception as my iBook G4. which is pretty good,
so i'm not complaining ... i just think the "better
wireless reception" was overhyped. as far as
connection issues and dropping connections, etc.,
i've had no problems so far, and i regularly use my
MBP in 5 different open and closed wireless networks
    with different levels of security.

  • B2B integration with OSB

    Hello,
I have an OSB and i want to make it communicate with partners through AS2 protocol and EDIFACT. So i guess the best thing is to go through Oracle B2B.
But i don't know how OSB can communicate with B2B. is it a necessary to go through a SOA Composite which will communicate with B2B, or there is a way for OSB to communicate directly with B2B.
    Thanks
    Farouk

Thank you Anuj for your clear answer.
I have another question, i'm sorry it's not in the same object of thread.
I'm new in B2B, and i saw that there are two places where i can create channels :
    1- Administration --> Listening channels
    2- Partners --> Partner --> Channels
in the first one, i can't choose an AS2 Channel, but in the second one I can choose an AS2 Channel. what's the difference between them and why in the first listenning channel i don't see an AS2 Channel.
I just wanna be sure that I can communicate with my partners through AS2 protocol.
    Thank you very much
    Farouk

  • Problems with regular GSM reception?

Hi, I've had poor reception since I bought the iPhone 3G at the end of July. After updating to 2.0.2, what was poor reception has become terrible reception, but I am not just having problems on 3G networks. I know others have had the experience that when they turn off 3G, they still get good reception on EDGE, but this has not been my experience at all. Prior to getting the iPhone, I had a Motorola RAZR on AT&T that got between 3 to 4 bars of reception on a regular 850 MHz GSM band at my house (I know it was using this band because I live in a cell dead-spot and purchased a $250 dollar Wi-Ex YX500-CEL cellular repeater which operates on the 850 MHz band and cured my cell phone reception problems at my house), and I had no problems making or receiving calls. Since upgrading to the iPhone 3G, at home I get 1 bar of GPRS switching to 1 bar EDGE or 1 bar GSM or No Service. Usually it sits at 1 bar, and after I try to make a call, it usually says call failed and No Service. I've been on the phone with Apple and AT&T, done multiple resets and restores to no avail. The Apple rep blamed AT&T service and the AT&T rep blamed Apple hardware. At the time, I was thinking "if the iPhone is quad band, why isn't it using the cell band from my repeater which works great with my RAZR and also works great for my roommate's Verizon phone?" I had been thinking that for some reason, the iPhone was not switching to use the band from my repeater, and was instead trying to use a very weak EDGE signal or something. I think the answer is, the iPhone must have poor reception on other bands, not just 3G, because last night I discovered if I walk right up to my cell repeater, within 3 feet or less, my iPhone magically has a full 5 bars of service (not 3G, not EDGE and not GPRS). As soon as I walk outside the 3 feet radius from my repeater, the signal starts to dramatcially drop off so that by the time I am about 8-10 feet away, it is back to 1 bar vs No Service. So, now I am thinking the iPhone just has generally crappy reception for other bands as well, not just 3G. I don't think it's just a defect with my particular phone, because at work, I actually get full 4-5 bars of 3G reception, and my phone works great in that particular location. What do you all think?

I wonder if this may have something to do with iMessage on my Macs. Recently updated to Maverirks and the iMessage app on my Macs was set up to my email and mobile phone (it wasn't before). I wonder if this is so, then whoever I send an SMS to that has iMessage on and replies back, will be picked up by iMessage since is turned on on my Mac, since replies go to the Mac but not my phone. If the sender has iMessage off, I get the SMS fine.
