Backup Drive has Vanished.. Any Ideas on how to troubleshoot?

For several years now I have had two internal SATA drives in my G5. One I called Macintosh Drive-A which is my startup disk and working drive
The second I called Macintosh Drive-B which I used totally as my backup drive from timemachine.
I just noticed that the B drive has totally vanished!
- Gone from the finder
- No Sign of it in Disk Utilities
- I tried disk warrior from the disk Warrior CD ROM and even Disk Warrior didn't see my Drive B
Before I go and buy a new drive and physically replace the B Drive I was wondering if there are any checks that I can do.
Its like the drive B is just not mounted anymore!

Tap Camera App > switch to video > see if the flash will turn ON. If still problem, Restore your iPhone with iTunes on computer. See if fixed. If still problem, your iPhone has full Warranty with Apple.

You have apparently purchased a jailbroken phone. You can try to get it into recovery mode, then restore as new, but no guarantee it will work.

Has anyone any idea of how to transfer my songs from iTunes to a Kindle?

I have iTunes on my home computer, not a lap top, which runs Windows 7 and I would like to be able to transfer my iTunes library of songs to my Kindle. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who knows how to do it as it doesn't automatically come up.

Connect the iPod to your PC. If iTunes starts syncing (ie erasing) your music automatically, hit the X in the upper right hand corner of iTunes display, to the left of the search box, to stop it.
In Control Panel, Portable Media Devices, double-click your iPod.
In the Tools menu -> Options, in the View Tab, check "Show hidden files and folders."
Navigate to the Music folder. On my 'pod, the full path is
Portable Media Devices\NAME of IPOD (F:)\iPod_Control\Music
Select all the music folders, and drag and drop them into a folder on your hard drive, or directly into iTunes.
And you're done! The iPod music folder structure is strange and inexplicable, but once you move your files into iTunes you can set it to automatically organize your folder by artist and album to clean that up. (To do this, in iTunes Edit menu, choose Preferences and in the Advanced tab, check "Keep iTunes Music Folder organized."

What version of OS X is your iMac running?
How full is your Mac's hard drive?
How many applications do you run simultaneously in the background while working in another application?
Do you run any antivirus software on your Mac? Antivirus software can slow down the normal operation of OS X.
Do you run any "crapware" like Mackeeper or any other type of so called hard drive "cleaning" apps?

Save it on the internal HD then copy it from this safe location to the external device.
iWork applications can't apply their save process on devices which aren't formatted as HFS+.
But it may also be that for some reason, an external device formatted as HFS+ is set to Read Only.
If it's this case, you will have to change de setting before moving the file on it.

Also reset the PRAM:
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
In most cases, those two actions will fix the port issue. If it's still an issue, you may need to see if the external hard drive can connect to another system, to ensure it's not having problems.

Here is the screen shot, just the top half, there are another 10 pages, but I guess this should enough for you to have an idea of waht is going on, bit small I am afraid. No, I don't have any apps setup to run when I open my computer, the kernel, varies between 290 and 305 per cent ish.
Would that PRAM thing help ? I think it may be the computer itself, well something inside, as this the first time that the fan has ever started running since I have this computer, even when I have 3 or 4 apps running.

By internal, I assume you're referring to your systems (boot) drive. Is it, by chance, a partitioned dive?
Also…although many people successfully use their systems drives as scratch disks, over time you'll have better results using a dedicated drive for your media.

Any ideas on how I might install Lion on a new hard drive when I purchased the OS online from Apple prior to my hard drive failing? I don't have a disk.

when you install your new drive, what happens? it should boot into internet recovery and you setup from there.
does it not do that?
