Bad ink (AGAIN)

Bought ink (AGAIN) for my all in one, has printed little blobs of black ink all over my customer billing and then when I needed to print pictures for Christmas presents (the MAIN reason I bought this printer) it was nothing but a big black blob allllllll over my pictures!  One big smudge - NOT happy.  I have a Canon sitting in my closet that a someone gave me, if you want to charge me almost $40 for one ink cartidge and have it NOT do what I bought it to do, I have NO problem moving everything over to Canon.  Then when it's time to get my new PC, I'll get my Dell.  Never had a problem with your ink, so why now? because when I needed it to perform it won't??  the store I bought it from won't return it, said I had to deal with the company, yup I can see I'll get results.....

Can you provide a scan of the bad printout?  When you were printing photo's were you using photo paper?  The black cartridge is not used at all to print on photo paper.  
Try the following:  with the printer  turned on press the * and # buttons together, then press 1 2 4.  This should bring up a menu that says underware.  Press the right arrow, OK, 10, OK.  This will print a diagnostic page.  After the page prints press the cancel button twice, this should return the menu to normal. 
Now examine the printed page and please report the contents of items 64, 65, 66 and 67 on the test page.  If the page shows the defect please scan the page and post it here as an attachment.

    Accidently I have deleted the BADI definition Vendor_Add_Data  in 4.7 server as a result I cannot execute the transactions MK01,XK01.Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem.

  • Error Message on my L7590 related to missing or bad ink cartridges

    I opened the ink cartridge door to get the numbers off the back of the cartridges (need a new yellow).  You can't see the numbers so I didn't touch any thing and closed the door.  Now I am getting a message that my cyan and black cartridges "appear to be missing or damaged."  The both had near new ink levels and weren't touched.  I can't clear the message.  I did pull those two and put them back in...same message.  I've also turned it off and back on4 times.  Help!

    Try this:
    1. Remove all ink cartridges and printheads.
    2. Close all access doors then turn off the printer.
    3. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
    4. Using a cutip, clean the printheads electrical contacts (avoid the cleaning the nozzles). Do the same thing with the contacts on the  cartridges.
    5. Reconnect the power cord from both ends and turn on the printer.
    6. Re-insert the printheads and then the ink cartridges.

  • HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer Black Ink not Working

    My HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One does not print black ink but the color ink is working perfectly fine even though the ink status shows that there is black ink left. After I've changed a new black ink cartridge, it will start to work again but after one day it stop printing black ink again. I've only printed a page the previous day and the ink status shows that there's black ink left in it (close to full). I've tried the methods stated here (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03882718&cc=sg&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5305051) but the black ink still doesn't work. So how can I solve this problem??

    Welcome to the HP Support Forums!  I see you are running into some print quality issues on your HP Officejet 4630, you are unable to print in black ink, even after replacing the cartridges.
    I see you have exhausted the steps listed here: Printer Does Not Print Black Ink or Color Ink, or Prints Blank Pages, with no success.
    Please note: There are three printhead cleaning stages. Complete all three stages if necessary. If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last (third) cleaning stage to start the first stage of the cleaning process over again.
    If you are still unable to print in black ink, I suspect the issue may be the printer and not the cartridge. I highly recommend you call our technical support at 800-474-6836, to see what options they have available for you. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link below to get the support number for your region.

  • IMac 27" late 2012 3TB hard drive bad blocks

    Hi Guys,
    I just received the new iMac 27" late 2012 with 3TB hard drive and as soon as I run Drive Genius version 3.2.2 I saw that the drive has 8 bad blocks.
    I tried to deleted the logical volume and reinstall the OS X 10.8.2 and after a scan I got the same 8 bad blocks. I give it another try and erase the entire 3 TB volu except the recovery partition and installed Mountain Lion and after running another Drive Genius SCAN for almost 12 hours I got 8 bad blocks again.
    Called Apple Support and they are clueless about what is going on as they are not even aware that the late 2012 iMac 27" is not even in stores yet.
    I was told that as long as I do not have errors within the OS X I should not worry about as he HDD is fine. I do not believe it since from my experience when you have a bad block you also have a physical damage on you disk surface.
    I called Apple Support again and I was told to go to Genius Bar and have them to replace the HDD to a unit not even a week old. I think that I am going to return the unit, maybe I got a lemon and the unit got dropped during the shipping process or who knows.
    I hope that this thread will help other owners to have them to run a check disk or scan disk just to make sure that they do not have a bad hard drive on their new iMac late 2012.
    Again I have nothing against to anyone as I just hope that someone from Apple will find this thread and try to prevent this from happening to a large scale.

    Drive Genius will report bad blocks when none are present. It may even be responsible for disk corruption.

    Get rid of Drive Genius. Do not install such junk on a Mac.

    I just set my nginx server, with php-cgi, as it is in the wiki site and it is working perfectly. I have just one problem. I am trying to rewrite my url, and I got an error after several refreshes.

    When I am not trying to rewrite the url, everything is ok, but when I try to rewrite it, after several refreshes on the page, I got nginx error: 502 bad gateway, and the cgi deamon stops to work.
    When I restart the fastcgi (I am using the example /etc/rc.d/fastcgi file as it is in the wiki) the web site is working again for several refreshes, and then the fastcgi stops again and I got the bad gateway again.
    Can someone tell me what is wrong with my rewrite rule, please.

  • PDF Export fails because of "bad" TIF files

    I'm having this problem with InDesign CS3 on MacBook Pro, OS 10.5
    PDF export fails occasionally, becasue of some "bad" TIF files. The weird part is that those files are completely good TIF files, which are perfectly readable by any other program! After I resave the supposedly bad file again, it helps, and the PDF export works fine. BUT - imagine me working with a project with 800 images?!! Thanks to some good scripting and forum people, I have found a way to locate the bad images quite fast by using a script that exports each page as a separate PDF, then at least I know at which page it fails. But it's a hassle to do that every time!
    Last time I found about 60 "bad" files out of 862.
    Why the heck InDesign treats some TIF files as bad? Even if it does, it could at least create a log file, that will tell me at which page the export failed! this could be a real help!
    I've asked this question in Photoshop forums, but one of the employees replied that Photoshop doesn't produce bad files. Well, I'm not sure I can belevie that, but that's what they say.

    What settings do you use when you save as TIFF ?
    On PC platform sometimes InDesign treat TIFFs as "bad" when they are exported with "for Mac" settings.
    Or maybe you should switch do PSD format ?

  • How to call BADI Triggering Multiple Times

        I got one requirement of Duplicate check for that i implemeted one BADI  in that i called Duplicat check function Module also so when i entered first, last and email id it is giving the message as Data is saved. when i entered the same data is entered it gives the message as Account is Duplicate and it wont save at that time when i modified the data then it wants to save that means it wants to call the duplicate check badi once again but thing is it wont save again it is giving the message as duplicate so for each change the badi wants to trigger agin and again but it wont so how can i do this one pls tell me which badi is suitable

    I think you can do it by using the same BADI. you can just create a static data to keep the first, last and email id. If the first, last and email id are the same skip the duplication check.
    for examples:
      Method badi.........
        STATICS static_name TYPE name VALUE 10.
        IF static_name is initial.
          static_name = im_name.
          perform duplicate_check.....
        ELSE.
          if static_name ne im_name.
            perform duplicate_check.....
          endif.
        ENDIF.
      Endmethod

  • Canon w6400 ink situation

    Hi, I bought a second hand Canon w6400 printer in nice condition.
    I bought and installed new cartridges, printed a couple of fotos, maybe like 5 photos, very nice.
    Then I got "maintenance cartridge full" error.
    Fine, I bought a new one.
    Then I print one image, and the printer had to "fill the inkhead with ink" it took like ages, so much so, that it basically sucked all of my new ink cartridges out.
    Question is: I am scared to buy ink again, to 1 letter size print and that the printer basically will suck all the ink out.
    Is this normal? Do I not need to worry, just buy the ink, install and i should be able to print as normal?
    I don't want to be buying 6 cartridges at $80 a pop and then have the printer suck it all out before I even got 1 print out

    Replacing the maintenance cartridge is normal. They apparently did not go through this section before selling it to you. However, it sounds like they put in a new print head, yeah for you. That is normal. You should be able to take off and conduct business like usual now. Go for it. Your past the hard stuff and off to a good start if they did take care of the printhead. You might call the seller to ask that of them. Filling the ink in the head is going to be normal, but you don't change the head for awhile up to years depending on how much you use the printer. The maintenance tank will be changed more often.

  • Ink Cartridges Empty -Print Black Only message

    Need some advice:  I continue to get the following message:  "To print in color, install the following cartridge- Cyan...To print in Black only...press OK
    The steps taken so far...replaced with new cartridge (twice), ran all of the commands in the toolbox (this results in printing sample pages that show all of the colors, etc.), cleaned the printing heads, and turned off the printer multiple times.  I even copied a colored page and it works fine, all of the colors show.  It just when I print from the PC that this message continues to come up.  Any suggestions?

    I have the same problem. HP Solutions Sw shows all ink cartridges as "Ready" but when printing anything, I get the low Magenta ink "Black Only" message box. All Cartidges are 100% HP ink. The printing sw is getting bad ink status from somewhere.

    Dear All user or top management of Nokia,
    I would express my feeling with Nokia Jalan Brawn Service Centre, I was newly brought a Nokia E72 on Dec'2009 and give to my VIP customer as gift, after one month time, he feedback the mic can't function and give back to me for getting the claim and repair, i bring to the communication shop i origin buy the phone to ask for help, this time the sales girl helpping to check, the feedback is the mic is not perform well and the advice to enable the repair be done in a short period, the better suggestion is bring to Nokia service centre. I directly bring to the Nokia center, this time the custmer service had test on the phone & agree that the phone may have the mic problem and told me to bring back the phone after repair by the next day. The outlook of the phone was showing in the good condition. Which can be prove on the job order form, the remark on the warrantee is "1 trans, bp-41(0379), batt cvr, 4 gbmmc"
    After the next day, i call up nokia to ask for the status of the phone, the feedback is yet done and ask to call on the next day.
    I do call again on the next day, this time the customer service feedback is, the phone only able to recover after two week, this is due to the system module is unfunctional. I have no choice, just only wait for two more week....
    After two weeks, i call again, is ready dissapointed, the feedback from the customer service is the Nokia having problem on sending to part.....is out of stock....and need to wait for two more weeks.
    Again & again, i call up after two week, the bad result again, there is the wrong system module was order by them, there need to wait until they call me....
    This time no time commit from them, therefore i just wait....but it seem like no feedback under a week before chinese new year, i call them, the same feedback is yet received the order from Nokia...
    I have a comment with Nikia here, it this the good care to customer buy need to do the replacement in the lastest model by take at least 1 month time.....i was very angry to told the CS, is the phone can't ready before CNY, i will reject the phone. I phone the latest model with the higher price is because is new, i believe the price had depreciate for the two month past time....is meaning less to me for buy the latest model for Nokia phone.
    Some 4pm before a day of CNY, i do received a call, ya! this time, the phone had ready for pick up....
    On 25 Feb, 2010, 5.30pm, i'm in very happy mood to collect back the phone, after checking on the phone, i get shock....the stanless still case was scatches very were....this time i had inform the customer service, but they keep on argue in very unpolite way & no replacement can make.....
    Is very disappointed.......
    Is this a Nokia correct mission....on customer care?
    Is this services give the Nokia today reputation?
    Is the Nokia top managemt know on this bad services?
    I still hope, can have the feedback from Nokia top management how i able the trace is fairness....with gave back the claim on the scatches happend after send to the "Hello' service Centre (M) Sdn. Bhd. in this two months time....

    The "top management of nokia" will not see your complaint here.
    To get a response from nokia you need to write them a letter or contact nokia care in your country.

  • Less expensive ink

    i have generic  ink in my hp envy 5535 and have printed with it but now am getting a notice that the "black ink is incompatible with the printer". how can i get it to print again w/o having toi buy hp ink? 

    You could buy generic ink again?   Maybe it's not as compatible as you thought.

  • Authorize . . . Authorize . . . again and again

    I am asked to authorize my same computer again and again . . . I tried to deauthorize and reauthorize but still asked to authorize again. I have 3 out 5 authorized computer.
    Every time it asks for authorization, I quit iTunes and reopen . . . it fix it but it will ask again if I change to a different song. Sometime I cannot play the whole album because it ask for authorization to continue the rest of album.
    It is becoming annoying . . . anybody knows how to fix this?

    This problem of being asked to authorise has been going on since iTunes version 8 hit the HD's... It is really, really annoying! I tried repairing permissions, worked for a few hours then lapsed into its bad habits again. Tried to repair keychain, no luck. It seems that authorisation "Times Out" after several minutes of no play of a track. Playing an entire collection start to end is fine, but when the phone rings you press pause and then resume after 10 minutes or so, iTunes requests authorisation.
    But I found a Apple document about setting permissions on a "Shared Folder" and tried it.

    Now I am trying to get iTunes to ask me to authorise and so far it has not. That was 40 minutes ago which is the longest it has remained stable. Will keep you posted.... I daren't hope it is fixed?

  • Photosmart Plus B209 Excessive Ink Consumption

    My Photosmart Plus printer uses too much ink.  I have had it 3 months and have printed very little.  Yet, I have gone through 2 sets of 564 ink cartridges.  It is almost out of ink again.  It seems to use ink even when I haven't printed anything.
    Is it possible that my printer is defective?
    During that entire 3 months I have printed no more than 10 4x6 photos and perhaps 30 mixed text/web pages.  I have never had a printer that used so much ink.

    I have the C309 which uses the 564 cartridge.  I am totally disgusted.  I cannot afford this machine.  I too, use it very little and it just runs out.  I posted a question on how to make it run with just the one black XL cartridge full, with the others installed but empty.  Am awaiting answer, but I think this model doesn't have that option.
    If I can't afford this, although I have had HP for two decades of printers, I will be leaving for good and going to a Kodak model which claims to have little expense for ink.
    Anyone have experience with Kodak?  I will be sorry to leave HP, but they have gotten greedy if this machine is any example.  It's a shame  because it is a darn good machine.   HP needs to lower the prices for ink for this ink hog or it's bye-bye for good.  After this experience, I would be afraid to buy another hog.

  • Cannot Implement BadI IWO1_WKCTR_CHANGE

    When trying to implement the BAdI IWO1_WKCTR_CHANGE, it gives an error message "BAdI definition IWO1_WKCTR_CHANGE is only provided for SAP internal use". I need to implement this particular BAdI for replicating the change of work centre in first operation in the Service Order(IW32),to the corresponding Notification Work centre. Currently, this is not happening,I went through the Note 612061, and the patch code is in sync for my system as given in the note.Is there any alternate way to overcome this situation. Thanks in advance for your help and support.

        Have looked into all the available exits. & user-exits available are for different functionalities to perform. In my case, when I change the Work centre is done in Service order (IW32) and click on Notification, that should make a change in the Notification as well. But that does not replicate there. I searched all the user-exits and I didn't find any appropriate one. The only option was through this BadI which again was restricted by SAP to be implemented.Now the SAP are using logon to our system & try to find some solution. If u find any user-exit for this scenario pls let me know. But definateli EXIT)SAPLOICH_009 is not the correct one.
