Bad customer service & support for Nokia Penang Se...

Dear All user or top management of Nokia,
I would express my feeling with Nokia Jalan Brawn Service Centre, I was newly brought a Nokia E72 on Dec'2009 and give to my VIP customer as gift, after one month time, he feedback the mic can't function and give back to me for getting the claim and repair, i bring to the communication shop i origin buy the phone to ask for help, this time the sales girl helpping to check, the feedback is the mic is not perform well and the advice to enable the repair be done in a short period, the better suggestion is bring to Nokia service centre. I directly bring to the Nokia center, this time the custmer service had test on the phone & agree that the phone may have the mic problem and told me to bring back the phone after repair by the next day. The outlook of the phone was showing in the good condition. Which can be prove on the job order form, the remark on the warrantee is "1 trans, bp-41(0379), batt cvr, 4 gbmmc"
After the next day, i call up nokia to ask for the status of the phone, the feedback is yet done and ask to call on the next day.
I do call again on the next day, this time the customer service feedback is, the phone only able to recover after two week, this is due to the system module is unfunctional. I have no choice, just only wait for two more week....
After two weeks, i call again, is ready dissapointed, the feedback from the customer service is the Nokia having problem on sending to part.....is out of stock....and need to wait for two more weeks.
Again & again, i call up after two week, the bad result again, there is the wrong system module was order by them, there need to wait until they call me....
This time no time commit from them, therefore i just wait....but it seem like no feedback under a week before chinese new year, i call them, the same feedback is yet received the order from Nokia...
I have a comment with Nikia here, it this the good care to customer buy need to do the replacement in the lastest model by take at least 1 month time.....i was very angry to told the CS, is the phone can't ready before CNY, i will reject the phone. I phone the latest model with the higher price is because is new, i believe the price had depreciate for the two month past time....is meaning less to me for buy the latest model for Nokia phone.
Some 4pm before a day of CNY, i do received a call, ya! this time, the phone had ready for pick up....
On 25 Feb, 2010, 5.30pm, i'm in very happy mood to collect back the phone, after checking on the phone, i get shock....the stanless still case was scatches very were....this time i had inform the customer service, but they keep on argue in very unpolite way & no replacement can make.....
Is very disappointed.......
Is this a Nokia correct mission....on customer care?
Is this services give the Nokia today reputation?
Is the Nokia top managemt know on this bad services?
I still hope, can have the feedback from Nokia top management how i able the trace is fairness....with gave back the claim on the scatches happend after send to the "Hello' service Centre (M) Sdn. Bhd. in this two months time....

  • Bad Customer Service - no solution for Trial Version for CC install

    Hi,
    I'm having problems to install my CC apps, since I`m having the issue on the apps keep asking for a serial number.
    I already tried all the solutions that I found on  the foruns: delete cache, install using English International as my preferences on Adobe Manager App, etc etc
    That is only happening on my PC with Windows 7. On My Macbook Pro everything is working fine.

    There's nothing you can do because Adobe in their wisdom decided to have these forums so that unpaid volunteers can help customers in exchange for worthless title called MVP.
    They also have a call Center in India where the staff are paid huge amounts (thousands of rupees per month) to help you.

  • Pandora Doesn't Work on Droid X2-Bad Customer Service from Verizon

    This probably isn't news for most Droid X2 users, but my husband can't get Pandora to work on his newly purchased Droid X2. What's really frustrating is that we went to our local Verizon store to pick out a phone for my husband because he wanted to listen to Pandora at work & neither one of us was at all familiar with android phones. We told the salesman that we were newbies & asked his advice on which phone to get. This guy(Fred) assured us that he was a pro & he listened to Pandora all the time on his Verizon phone. He specifically recommended that we get the Droid X2 for listening to Pandora. Unfortunately we did as he suggested & signed on. It took my husband way more than the allotted 14 days to familiarize himself with using the Droid, let alone Pandora. By the time he felt comfortable using Pandora on his phone at home (using the WiFi), it was past the 14 day trial period. That was when he discovered that Pandora wasn't working right on his phone without the WiFi. Naturally he assumed he was doing something wrong. Then we checked into the problem online & discovered that the Droid X2 was infamous for not working with Pandora.
    We went back to our salesman,Fred, & asked him for help in getting Pandora to work. This went on for a few weeks and eventually he admitted that in fact Pandora doesn't work on the phone he recommended to us for just that use. We assumed that he would help us in upgrading to a phone that would work since he was the one led us astray. That was when he went into standard Verizon mode & told us that our 14 days were up & there was nothing he could - or would- do to help us. So we contacted Verizon directly & were told the same thing.
    Is this kind of bad customer service typical of Verizon? I don't understand what the big deal was about not helping us to fix our salesman's mistake. If we'd made this mistake on our own, I could see Verizon telling us that we were stuck. But we told them we were newbies & asked for their help.
    I'm really disappointed because I bought this phone for my husband so he could enjoy Pandora at work. And now he's stuck with 2 years of making do with other services & hoping that maybe Pandora will help him out. Does anybody have any suggestions as to anything we can do to make this sorry situation work? Thanks.

    Trouble Streaming Pandora on Android
    If you're having issues using Pandora on Android, try the following steps:
    1. Uninstall the app: From the home screen, press the menu key and select Settings then Applications. Select Manage Applications. Scroll down and select Pandora. Then Uninstall.
    2. Power down the phone and pull the battery out. Put the battery back in and turn the phone on.
    3. Reinstall: Go to the Android Market and search for Pandora.
    4. Clear data for Pandora: Press the menu key and select Settings then Applications. Next select Manage Applications. On that page select Clear data.
    5. Switching from High Quality audio to Normal Quality audio.  From the Now Playing screen, press the phone's menu button and select Preferences. Change the Cell Network Audio Quality to Normal instead of High.

  • Very bad customer service!

    I am a photographer and in June 2013 I decided to join the newly launched Creative Cloud single application subscription program for Photoshop CC.
    At the same time I purchased a Lightroom standard license (Lightroom was not available on the Creative Cloud at that time).
    The monthly price for Photoshop CC with a one year commitment was 24,59 Eur for Europe (I live in Czech Republic). I didn’t quite understand how that translates from the 19,99 USD of the US subscription, but fair enough Adobe is not a charity and they have the right to decide to charge what they want for their products. Plus the subscription prices were clearly showed on their website, so I decided to join anyway.
    Honestly I was very happy both with Photoshop and Lightroom and I think they are two fantastic pieces of software so I didn’t mind the price I paid for them.
    Then a few months after I get a call from my bank saying that my card has been blocked because it might have been compromised following some online payments I made. And after a little research I find out that (citing the Adobe website) “Very recently, Adobe’s security team discovered sophisticated attacks on our network, involving the illegal access of customer information as well as source code for numerous Adobe products. We believe these attacks may be related.
    Our investigation currently indicates that the attackers accessed Adobe customer IDs and encrypted passwords on our systems. We also believe the attackers removed from our systems certain information relating to 2.9 million Adobe customers, including customer names, encrypted credit or debit card numbers, expiration dates, and other information relating to customer orders.
    Great, now I am for two weeks without card while my bank gets me a new one (they are not that fast in Czech Republic).
    Fortunately I also read online that (citing the Adobe website) ”Adobe is also offering customers, whose credit or debit card information was involved, the option of enrolling in a one-year complimentary credit monitoring membership where available.”.
    Honestly I misunderstood that as a one year complimentary Creative Cloud membership and I thought that was very nice of Adobe, they didn’t have to do it, and to me it showed an effort to say “we are sorry” and to try to retain their customers’ trust.
    Some time passes and I am obviously still getting charged monthly for my subscription.
    So I contact Adobe through the online chat…..turns out that I am not eligible for the one year complimentary subscription (none of the agents actually explained to me that I had misunderstood the offer) but after a bit of complaining and waiting online I get offered a one month complimentary subscription!?!?!.
    You can make up your own mind on how to interpret that but to me that meant that Adobe recognized their responsibility but tried everything possible to get rid of me with the minimum possible.
    The guy on the chat however said that if I am not satisfied I can ask him to escalate.
    I do so and he tells me that I will be contacted within 2-3 business days.
    A week after I have not been contacted yet, so I call the support again and I am told that they are very sorry for not getting back to me and I will be (again) contacted within 2-3 business days.
    TWO weeks after that chat I finally get a mail from Adobe, which is now offering me 2 months complimentary subscription.
    I realize I better take what they give me so I reluctantly accept.
    Not even a week after that, I realized that Adobe launched a new Photoshop Photography program where they give the Photoshop CC license + Lightroom 5 for 9.99 USD or 12.29 Eur with a yearly commitment. This is half what I pay now, not even considering the one off Lightroom 5 license that I already paid (129.15 Eur). The special offer expires on the 2nd December (less than a week from now at the time of writing this).
    The good news is that existing CC subscribers can ask to transfer to this program for free.
    So I contact the Adobe support again and they happily confirm that I can switch to the new program.
    BUT I would lose the 2 free months as they cannot be transferred to the new program because it is already discounted.
    I spend a good deal of effort explaining that the 2 free months are not a discount but are a compensation for me being without card for 2 weeks so I should be able to retain them, but the support person on the other side of the chat just politely dismisses every argument.
    I understand that Adobe did not have to allow existing subscriptions to transfer to the new offer for free, I purchased a service and then a few months after the price went down, fair enough this happens.
    If the price went up on the other end I would have still kept my original price.
    However what infuriates me is that since any existing subscriber can join the cheaper offer, Adobe has actually penalized me in front of all the other customers and the reason why they have penalized me is that my data have been compromised on their servers.
    You draw your own conclusions but to me this is very bad customer service.

  • Complaint BAD customer service experience in Hong Kong

    I would like to complaint a Apple staff called “Andrew” who worked in Festival Walk Apple retail store in Hong Kong resulting in my wife cannot buy the iPhone reserved within the timeslot provided.
    My wife successfully reserved two iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gold with timeslot 12pm to 1pm (Lunch time period) on 13 Oct 2014 at Festival Walk Apple retail Store in Hong Kong. She queue and waits for assistance. Bearing in mind two different members of staff approached her and said there was a 20/25 min wait. It is fine to wait for 20-25min. But after 20 min later, she asked the Apple staff again to confirm how long she needs to wait for and ask if she whether took the iPhone few hours earlier and later. This is because the she needs back to work.
    She asked the apple staff called “Andrew”, he raised his voice and told her that she need to wait now and cannot take the  two iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gold earlier and  later.  He also said if she would like to take the iPhone earlier, she needed to ask everyone in the queue to confirm if she allows taking the iPhone first.  How come the staff response to her like that. My wife needed back to work finally and cannot buy the iPhone reserved!
    At first, time management is very bad in Festival Walk Apple Retail Store in Hong Kong is very worst. Why my wife cannot buy the iPhone within the timeslot provided.
    Secondly, Apple Staff attitude is very ridiculous. My wife just enquired the staff politely. But how come the staff replied her like that. How come Apple hired a rude staff likes “Andrew” in Festival Walk Apple Retail Store in Hong Kong.  He was very rude, impolite to her. What’s going on. The staffs never polite and I can tell you if we treated our customers like that where I worked we would have been fired immediately!!
    Does Apple Company provide any training to the staff? My wife and I doubt that any training provided to the staff.  Apple customer service is terrible, he really don't care about helping you with a problem.
    Apple is a big company over the world. Apple staff is the most arrogant group of people we will ever meet. They provide such worst customer service experience. It is absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable. Great service offers a unique opportunity for businesses that are willing to invest in a memorable customer experience – they can ot-support the competition. But I cannot find any great customer experience in this Apple Retail Store. Please note that Bad customer service is totally affect company reputation. I did complaint those staff “Andrew” on the same day. But there is no any feedback and response from the Festival Walk Shop Manager or Apple representative. It's an absolute disgrace and I wonder why apple don't have a complaint department!

    You get to the store ~30 minutes before closing time, your card is declined for insufficient funds, you are told there isn't enough time to go to your bank in order to deposit more funds and return in time to finish the transaction and are surprised when they don't agree to finish the transaction when you return AT closing time?
    Glad you finally got your phone, but I too see no reason for an apology from Verizon. Maybe checking to make sure you have the funds to cover the expenditure next time would be wise. You have a smartphone, possibly adding an app to make the funds transfer electronically would have even kept you in the store while you made the additional deposit/transfer. Better planning on your part would have prevented ALL of this.

  • I am sick of the bad customer service

    I called to set up new service.  I had to use my grandson's phone (personal cell phone) who happens to work for AT&T, and these people refused to help me.  He was in the other rooom doing school work while I was on the phone with the company to try and set up service.  They are not very helpful when it comes to trying to set up a new account.  You try to bring your number from another carrier, they transfer you, and you get transferred to another department after you give them your SSN and then it makes you feel as if your information has been stolen.

    If I have to keep putting up with bad service with phone service, then I will not stay with who I am with, and I will not try using AT&T service.  It seems as if when I have to use my grandson's my personal phone I could get him in trouble when I have to get ugly with these people for not listening to me, and then they decide to talk over you when you are talking, and I am not happy because it is bad customer service.  Someone needs to do something about the employees.  My grandson has told me that if I have to start writing down employee names and ID numbers and start reporting them, because it seems like this company does not take the concerns of the customers to the caring level, and when you are a new customer, they don't want to help you.

  • A7II Broken & Horrendous Customer Service/Support

    So in the middle of April, after much research, I took the plunge and bought a Sony A7ii. The camera worked well for two months. UNTIL I went to turn on my camera June 18th and nothing. No power, nothing. Ok, change battery, nothing. Ok, try power cord to wall, nothing. Ok, remove battery and wait more than 5 minutes, nothing. Completely dead. No power whatsoever. I keep my cameras in padded cases at all times when not in use.  Also, this camera never saw any moisture from rainey or humid conditions.  Basically, I take really good care of my gear because I know how much it costs.  Camera was flawless and only 2 months old (until it would not awaken that is).
    Anyway, I called "tech support" for Sony and unfortunately was told that I had to send it in for warranty repair.The repair company is Precision Camera Repair.  I was told by Sony that I had to pay for shipping of the camera to the repair center. Just so you understand, I had to pay $43 to ship a camera that was 2 months old to a repair center (awesome service Sony!).  I have called to speak with someone at Sony about this and was told someone from Customer Escalations would call me back.  I have yet to hear anything as of Friday, June 26th.  Again, awesome service Sony!!   The camera arrived at Precision Camera on Monday, June 22nd. I signed up to receive automated updates from the Precision Camera Repair system, yet never received any updates.  So when I had not heard back, I reached out to them to get an update. This is the response I got:
         I apologize for our delay in getting back to you with updates. The unit was received and signed in on 6/22 and we are waiting for a part to come in to complete the repair The part is a Mounted C Board SY -1049 and the part number is SC A -2065-816-A . The eta for the part is 7/21/2015 or 28 days. Please contact us at 860-272-2100, and let us know if you would like to continue to wait for the part to come in to proceed with the repair, or send the unit back unrepaired. There would be a $12.50 shipping fee.​
    With no details as to what is wrong, I responded with "Can you tell me what the issue with the camera is/was?" The response I received is below:

         Comment upon registration: Description: camera will not turn on at all:- Warranty: Yes:- Has serviced? No:-
         The technicians found the unit in this condition when it was sent in:

    So, to summarize:An $1800 Sony A7 ii camera body completely died after just over two months of light useI not only had to, but was expected to pay for shipping the camera inI will have to wait a full month (July 21st) to get my new camera back as they don't have the partOr I could pay return shipping (another insult) and receive my non-functioning camera back I still have no idea what is wrong with it, unless smudge/dust on the lcd screen or smudge/dust on the viewfinder hood has the ability to brick an $1800 cameraI hope someone from Sony reads this and has some answers.  When I called to speak with someone, I was told by Sony's "Customer Service" (term used loosely) that unless I bought it from their website directly, there is nothing, yes I said NOTHING they can do to help. Their "Customer Service" is for website purchases ONLY. I asked if there was customer service for people who own Sony products, but didn't buy them from the website.  I was told straight up, NO.  And since I bought my camera from Amazon, there is nothing they can do.  AT ALL.  They transfered me to "Technical Services" (again used loosely). I was told by them that the issue would have to be escalated to "Customer Relations" and there was nothing they could do. So, another transferred to another department that can do nothing.  No one has called me back from Sony on any of the issues listed herein  I hope someone from Sony reads this and questions the "processes" and "support" (hahah, it is very hard to say that without laughing) they have in place for consumers who are spending what I consider an adequate amount of money for their products.  I have lost all faith in Sony and will share my story with anyone in the photography community who will listen. Brian   

    I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Adobe doesn't officially monitor this forum. HOWEVER, they do monitor the adobe.com forum and try to resolve issues there. I hope that when you repost someone will step in to help you out, ASAP.

  • BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE IN NEWNAN

    We had very bad customer service at the NEWNAN, GA BEST BUY. I purchased a notebook with a defective part. Returned the netbook back to the store. Geek Squad looked at it and said the hard drive was defective. They would not do anything except after arguing with us finally offered to send it off for repair. We declined becuase my in laws sent a laptop off to be repaired and ended up paying just as much for the repair and they paid for the computer. This was after they were told they would not pay for anything. Also, were only told they had to pay once the computer was sent off and could not get it back until they paid. $300 LATER THE COMPUTER WAS STILL BROKEN! We were lied to and pused around by everyone we talked to. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bad Customer Service at Adobe - Why ?

    Why Does Adobe have such terrible customer service?
    I am so suprised and disappointed to learn this.
    I have submit several requests for someone to call me back , via their customer service page. Nobody ever calls me back.
    I try calling them EVERY SINGLE DAY- Nobody answers the phone... not even after 30 minutes of waiting !
    I purchased the teacher version of the CS5 package and submit my identification as requested. They keep sending me emails to inform they will cancel my order if they dont receive the ID. But i have already submit it ! So i am trying to get through to someone so i can give them the case number and ask them to verify that i have submit the ID !
    Surely , this is not the job of the customer. Surely , for software as expensive as Adobe' packages , they should have a decent customer service support line where you are guaranteed to get through to a person who can help???? Apparently not , apparently this is too much to ask
    Why is Adobe customer service  so terrible? And is it likely to improve??? If not, i may just cancel the order, as annoying as that will be . I need to know i can rely on a good support line when needed.

    There use to be a Facebook page about Adobe problems created by a disgruntled customer. When it was created customers would get better service from there. Seems Adobe didn't like the negative Comments. I don't know whether it still exist or not though. You might look and if still there post you problem there.
    Adobe like most software companies, to save money is dumping any employees of 40-45 years old. They are replacing them with people from overseas, who think they are making great sums of money when they are paid 50¢ an hour. Or employee in the US just out of school and don't have necessary knowledge.
    Its not just limited to Adobe. It just seems to be worse at Adobe. Right now Adobe's quality of service is worse than Intuit's. IF you have dealt with Intuit (Quicken/Quickbooks) you'll know what I am talking about. Also, look up Adobe at the Better Business Bureau website. What Adobe don't realize, the level of support for products they sell, determines their ability to sell products. But the bean counters, and BOD and officers don't care.

    My Complaint:  I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for approx 20 years.  I called customer service to seek an early upgrade for my daughter's phone. She is away in college and her phone is malfunctioning.  She is eligible for an upgrade in approx 6 weeks so I did not want to spend the money on a replacement phone when since we were planning on updating to something newer.  The customer service rep to me they could not do the early upgrade an to call back in a few weeks. After explaining this was unacceptable (I do not like the idea of a young female being out of state and away from home with no reliable means of communication), she places me on hold to later return with the only offer of  I must purchase a new device through her ( over the phone) which will be shipped to me, the phone was priced $100.00 more than the online price (they will not price match), plus i must pay $30.00 upgrade fee, $35.00 activation fee and taxes on the retail price of the phone.  I am upset and disappointed with the quality of service provided by Verizon being a 20 year customer.  If not for the seriousness and urgency of this matter, i would not have asked for an early upgrade.  It is times such as these that you get to see how much of a "valued customer" you really are.   I guess you are valued as long as you pay your bill and continually  purchase their products.  I would like to speak with someone from Verizon's corporate or customer relations department.  As of now I am really considering changing my service to a different provider.  I have multiple accounts with Verizon and i will canx each after the current contract committment expire (starting with my daughter's phone which expires in 6 weeks) In the meantime I will go purchase her a new phone with someone else and take comfort knowing she will have reliable communication.

    I started with them in 1985. It has been wonderful service but very expensive. They seem to operate on day of deposit day of withdrawal. That means that I have no benefits nothing beyond the normal customer if I don't pay my bill they shut me off. That's why I have switch to another provider and I have better service lower cost and better phones. you can't beat  other providers I mean it. Please don't expect more from verizon other than a "pay me more money and I'll do what you want" because it's all about money. Read the transcripts from current Verizon employees all over the internet. The company is going down and they're taking customers with them.

    To all cellular subscribers, first off, I wish to say I am a proud VZW user. Second, I want to say I am a customer service rep for a competitor carrier. Personally, a few of my coworkers and I believe there really isn't any competition. Thirdly, I want to remind everyone... When you get your bills and you don't understand them, or your service isn't working correctly, try to have your duckies in a row BEFORE you call customer service. We do not work for the company in question, we are a 3rd party outfit that is hired by the big guys (T-Mo, ATT, Sprint, Verizon....) to handle the calls coming in. We are trained, but remember, we are in a call center, some may be overseas, some may be in the US, but our paychecks do not come from the big guys, but our real bosses. Yes, you are customers, just like I am, but before you call us, put yourself in our place. Seriously, if you had to talk to a person over the phone who is yelling and calling you names, would you want to help them?
    So, my request to you is follow the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. Trust me, staying calm in the face of any hardship will go farther than flying off the handle.

    Yes, my coworker's sister works for the same company we work for  and she handles VZW calls. Also, just the other day, I helped someone cancel her contract with the competitor's company because she was just hired on as a rep with the same company we work for but in a different state. BTW, that new VZW customer/CSR says that the service for Verizon is WAY BETTER than with her old company

    20 mins after your reply, Adobe put the charge through on my credit card 6 days after they sent me a suspension notice.
    Their account management interface sucks. It does this ajax thing that ever completes and comes up with a message to "try again later" which never works. I had to use the Opera browser to get it to work for some reason. And even when it does, there is no option to request that outstanding balances be charged to your card. My ISP has this, my mobile service provider has this, my web hosting company has this, why can't a big multinational corporation have the same feature instead of getting us to waste hours every month just to have a payment pushed through. Alternatively, and at least, why doesn't it just keep attempting to charge the card until it gets through? No, instead it suspends your account. Grrrrr....
