BAdi method not executing - IF_EX_RSR_OLAP_BADI~DEFINE

dear all,
I am trying to implement a virtual characteristics using BAdi and the article i'm using is this. However, when i try to put my breakpoint in the code it is not executing in either RSRT or RSRT2. Any idea why? Even if i put my breakpoint in the CASE statement to determine if it is the infocube i want to filter by, that does not get executed. Any idea why?

ViewDidLoad method not executing

I'm using Xcode 3.2 and I have a tabbar project with a few tabs and view controllers. I have inserted code into the secondviewcontroller.m in the provided empty ViewDidLoad method but it's not getting executing.
I put a breakpoint on the first line and it never gets there?
Other code in this viewcontroller works fine, awake from nib etc.
Any idea or what to check for?

Ooh.. Well I assumed you started with the Tab Bar Application template. That template starts you off with two tabs. The view controller for the first tab is of type FirstViewController, and its view is defined in MainWindow.xib. The view controller for the second tab is of type UIViewController, and its view is defined in a separate xib named SecondView.xib.
Your problem seems to be with your xib structure, but this type of problem can take forever to work out in the forum without pictures. Here are some questions that might help us isolate the problem:
1) Which template did you use to start your project?
2) If you started with the Tab Bar app template, do you remember at what point you removed SecondView.xib?
3) Can you describe, step-by-step what you did in MainWindow.xib to create the structure you have now?
4) Can you post a screen shot of MainWindow.xib on a web site for us to see?
5) If yes to 4, please set the View Mode switch to the center position and expand all the tree nodes in your screen shot.
6) If no to 4, please try to describe the two columns of that file in your post. It will be important to show the level of indentation when describing the tree. You can do that by just starting each line with a number, e.g. 1 for top level, 2 for one indent, etc.
7) For each of your 5 view controllers, please select the view controller in the icon tree and bring up the Attributes Inspector. Any view controller which requires a separate xib will have the name of the xib file in the NIB Name picker field of the Attributes Inspector. If that field is not blank for any of your controllers, let us know.

Badi does not execute at runtime

Hello All,
We are having a problem trying to implement BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER with method ENRICH_ITEM_DATA / interface IF_EX_BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER
We have created a new implementation for this BADI that has generated a new class (in se19). The implementation is visible in V_ext_act and the class and implementation is visible in SXC_CLASS.
The implementation is active, the class is active and the class has the correct method IF_EX_BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER~ENRICH_ITEM_DATA
However
When performing a where used list for this BADI our new implementation does not appear. Instead we are still seeing an old implementation that has been deleted. In addition the source code that we have implemented as part of the exit is not being executed during run time.
We think that we have covered all the steps required but may be missing something vital ???
I know this is a tricky one but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to add that in addition to our custom implementations, the class implementation
CL_EX_BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER
is also associated with this BADI in the where used list.
When I look at this in our QA environment this class is not associated only the custom developed classes are associated.
Not sure why?

Implementation of the BADI CRM_MKT_MODIFY_ORDER is not executing

Hello all,
I'm working in the execution of campaigns in the CRM Web Client trying to copy to the generated activities the products added to the corresponding Activity Template.
My first (and only) approach is to use the method MODIFY_ACTIVITY_OBJ of the BADI CRM_MKT_MODIFY_ORDER in order to make the proper changes.
I implement and activate this BADI putting some dummy code with a break point. The problem is that it never stops in this break point. Seems to be that is not executing this method at all. I try several times but nothing happened and I running out of ideas.
Do you know if I need to do something else? Maybe perform some configuration before.
Any idea will be welcome.

Can you explain me the scenario with some more details.. little curious. Just wanted to check whether this is the correct BAdI to implement or not..

Inline item mx:Image ... in mx:itemRenderer could not see the defination of method

I have following code and got a compilation error ("possiblely called an undefined function") because the <mx:Image ...> in the <mx:itemRenderer > could not see the defination of "aMethod" method:

You need outerDocument, and the method cannot be private, it should be public:
complete="outerDocument.aMethod(event)"

Automatic Payment program: Payment method not defined for vendor abroad

Hi All,
I have a situation wherein the client has a company code in Poland . The Company code is trying to make a payment via f110 to a vendor based in sweden. The vendor wants payment to the invoice to be made in Polish Currency i.e. it wants clearing to be done in Company codes local currency.
But F110 is throwing the error Payment method not defined for vendor abroad. Can you suggest what could be the possible Error.

Have you followed the above advice, i.e. used the same medium format just allowing foreign payments for it?
AFAIK, the Poland banks require a separate format for foreign payments, if only because international bank nbr SWIFT has to also be given and not just the IBAN.
At my company, the Deutsche Bank Poland requested IDocs to be set up instead, I'm working on it now..

I created simple app in ADF11g production version.this is working fine in Jdev IDE.
In my application two pages are there.in first page just ADF ROF is there.there youcan see the rows in a dept table thru navigation contrlos.and a submit button to navigate to next page.in second page ,i have createinsert button,delete,commit,rollback buttons.and abutton to navigate to first page.
I deployed the EAR successfully to Extervnal WLS10.3while testing it from Browser,
First i got first row in my table along with Navigation contrlos and submit button of first page in the browser.when i am clicking on next button(to move to next row) it is giving the following error in information box.

now my problem solved .just i created one more application newly and deployed it on External WLS.
Now i am able to see all the rows in my DEPT table in my first page of app thru navigation contrlos.
In the same way i am able to see all rows in second page also.and also able to edit the rows thru commit,delete buttons.and able to insert the rows also in second page.
But the submit button to go from page1 to page2 is not working.and also the submit button from page 2 to page1 not working.
I am giving the following in my URL:

Method in WF not executing..

Hi, Can anyone tell me whether to include Delegated Object (ZDISCON) or Standard Object(DISCONNECT) in the activity step type of my Workflow (WS9000009).
The issue is:
The reciever is being called while trying to create a event in SWUE. But the Function module inside the ZDISCON is not executing.

If you Delegate the Custom BO to Std. BO, you can use the std. BO then custom BO methods will automatically come.
The reciever is being called while trying to create a event in SWUE. But the
Function module inside the ZDISCON is not executing.
This happen because Delegation is not correct.

IF_EX_RSR_OLAP_BADI~DEFINE

Hi Experts,
In the BAdI RSR_OLAP_BADI for Virtual Characteristics and Key Figures there is the DEFINE method. Does anyone know what is the purpose of this method ( IF_EX_RSR_OLAP_BADI~DEFINE )? I've followed some sample coding and did what it says to do and it works, but I am not quite clear what/how/why it is needed? I have the following code. Can someone explain when and where c_t_chanm is used when executing a query?

I_S_RKB1D: General informations about Infoprovider and query. Most useful are the fields Infocube and COMPID for identifying the query
I_TH_CHANM / KYFNM_USED: list of infoobjects used in the query
C_T_CHANM/KYFNM: list of infoobjects used for calculation in the BADI
You must add a public instance attribute P_CHA_<object> for each InfoObject you want to access in the COMPUTE method - and attributes P_KYF_<object> for each key figure.

MDG Cross entity validation using enrichment spot is not executed.

I have configured the enrichment sport for cross entity validations and used BRF to validate the data, but looks like validations are
not executed. I have the check activated for the step in the configuration and I can see my custom class is being picked in method GET_ENRICHMENTS of class CL_USMD_DQ_ACCESS_ENRICHMENT for that request type and step. I have flag relevant selected and option “Execute Always” (will change this to “Execute when data changed).
I am trying to figure out if SAP MDG standard code will execute my custom class code or not. I had put break point in my custom class constructor and this is called when an instance for enrichment is created in method GET_ENRICHMENTS of class CL_USMD_DQ_ACCESS_ENRICHMENT. However my code in below method is not executed (and hence BRF is not called)

Now I am trying to figure out a place from where these enrichment class methods will be executed. I feel this will be from EXECUTE_ENRICHMENT

Is there anything I am missing in configuration? Or we need to implement any SAP note? I tried to find one, but no luck.

Hello, I am not using cress entity BADI for Validation. I am using this BADI for cross entity derivations and they are working fine.
I had a requirement to do cross entity validations, and I have rules written using the BRF+.
I had used enrichment sport functionality to have a custom class used to call BRF functions and prepare the context with required entity data.
Validations are supposed to happen based on the enrichment spot defined and the configuration for that enrichment sport on the process step level. This is not happening. let me know if you need more information on it,

Virtual key figure BADI - does not change value

I wrote a badi for virtual key figure according to guidelines from an SDN doc on how to create virtual chars and kf's.
However, the value of the key figure is not changed at all. Below is my code. Please see what I'm doing wrong

There is something you need to do which I have not seen described in any of the documention here.
You need to copy the source code for the INITIALIZE method directly from the code given in the example class CL_EXM_IM_RSR_OLAP_BAPI. That is where the P_KYF<object> and P_CHA<object> attributes are assigned their values. If you do not copy this code into your own implementation, these attributes have no value in the COMPUTE method and your code will probably not work.

Virtual Key Figures in RSR_OLAP_BADI COMPUTE Method not recalculated

Hi,
Please clarify why is the COMPUTE METHOD of RSR_OLAP_BADI not always
triggered or executed.
For instance, my query is drilled down by customer and
material by default. Upon opening the query and after entering
the appropriate selections, the virtual key figures that I have
used in the query are correct .
However, if i make any change to the query and run it in RSRT, the BADi method COMPUTE is not executed.
Is this really the normal behavior of the said BADI? Why is
it unstable?

I have a similar problem the compute method is not trigerring and i am trying to debug it but it is not breaking at all, although when i generate from rsrt it breaks at a breakpoint of define method however i have defined another break at compute method but not breaking.
I am using the infoobject inside the query but and tried to hard code it for testing in the compute method but doesnt seem to be getting executed.

Adobe Form called from SAP Portal, not executing interface global init code

Hello!
I have an adobe form called from both R/3 and SAP Portal and I need to show long text dinamically calculated.
The deal is at the SAP Portal execution, as scenario characteristics don't allow string definitions, I'm using 255 characters tables (QISR_TAB_TYPE), that I'm trying to convert inside form interface (Global init code).
The problem is that the interface global init code is being executed when the form is called from R/3, but it is not at SAP Portal.
Does anybody know how to manage this? It's kind of a problem that the BAdi method int_service_request_init doesn't allow types over 255 characters... and if it is not possible to access the form interface code section (maybe there's any way)... i need to find some code section where i can convert tables before the form context is filled!!

Changing data captured via ME52N through BADI - ME_REQ_POSTED not working!

Hi All,
I am trying to change the 'Release Date' value everytime some data is changed on a purchase requisition via transaction ME52N. I am using BADI 'ME_REQ_POSTED' via my own implementation of interface method 'IF_EX_ME_REQ_POSTED~POSTED'.
Everything works and I can access all the data that I need except the fact that the standard variables with item data (i.e. 'IM_EBAN') cannot be changed and so I am forced to rather change table EBAN directly by using a 'MODIFY' statement after processing the data within the BAdi method.
However when I check table EBAN via se16 I find that the field that I want to change (i.e. EBAN-FRGDT) does not change at all even though the transaction states that the document has been saved successfully and my BADI implementation has been executed in full.
Therefore how can I ensure that the field is updated via this BADI or via a direct update within the BAdi implementation?
