  • PCA Trial Balance Sheet Report

    Hi
In GL module the transaction F.08 gives you a trial balance with debit & credit values by GL, is there a report which does the same in PCA?  there is a similar report in KE80 8a-PCA005G but this is only working for P&L accounts I need the report to work for balance sheet accounts.
We are not using the new GL.
    thanks for your help

    Voodi,
    Description of problem
    - The <b>P&L statement node</b> amount is supposed to roll up to the <b>Profit/Loss current Year</b> node in the balance sheet
    - If amount is a profit, amount goes to <b>calculated profit node</b>
    - If amount is a loss, amount goes to <b>calculated loss node</b>
    - When I run a balance sheet report the <b>Profit/Loss current Year node</b> does not show at all. I assume because no data for leaves.
    - When the customer runs a FS report in ECC, they see the <b>Profit/Loss current Year node</b>
    - Also, the chart of accounts used is WACA, but the leaf for<b>calculated profit </b> is <b>0COA0BRESULT 2A</b> and the leaf for <b>calculated loss</b> is <b>0COA0BRESULT 1A</b>.
    - Where does this config take place in ECC for the FS hierarchy? I went into ECC and looked at FS item versions and don't see an item under calculated profit or loss.
    -  The customer expects these leaves to appear in query result.  I am trying to determine if some config is required in ECC for FS item or do I need to perform calculation in query

  • Balance sheet report - cube 0FIGL_C10 (NW04s)

I am creating a balance sheet report using 0GL_ACCOUNT as a hierarchy. The infoprovider is 0FIGL_C10.
    The 0GL_ACCOUNT hierarchy has nodes:
    -> Stockholder's equity
         --> Profit/loss current year
               --> Calculated profit
               --> Calculated loss
The nodes Calculated profit & Calculated loss have no leaves, so these hierarchy nodes don't show in query. However they show on ECC report.
    What is the link?
I ran a delivered quey for virtual cube 0FIGL_V11 which uses 0GLACCEXT (financial statement item) and these nodes still don't show.

  • Post Balance Sheet Adjustment Tcode F.5d and F.5e

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have executed F.5D and F.5e in order to post balance sheet adjustment:
Normally,  if both tcode executed, all posting to GL account with 105101000 using a KO dummy Profit will then be swept/post to a corresponding GL account say 10510099  with the correct/actual Profit center.
As i can see,  after i ran tcode F.5e it generated a document number.   Now,  HOW do i reconcile the posted Balance Sheet adjustment amount against FBL3n?   Is it via Open key date or All key date?

    hi Sridevi,
Earlier, users never used tthis Tx. F.05, by mistake they did, anyway it is reversed
now when they were doing the Tx. F.5E there are getting this problem "Nothing is posted".  kindly help in this regard.

  • How to grap balance-sheet amounts like the balance-sheet total?

    Hi,
is there a table wich contains single entries from
the balance-sheet? Like debt, own capital, stock-value etc.....
    Thanks for help?

    Hi,
do you mean that you need only a part of the balance sheet to be displayed?
    Many ways to do it.
    1. Copy your current Financial Statement Version to another one, and remove the parts you do not need.  Beware that you will have a big balance under the Not assigned node (which you cannot remove), because all accounts belonging to another nodes in the original structure are in fact not assigned any longer to the new structure.
    2. If you know the account numbers assigned to the nodes you are interested in, you can use your original Financial Statement Version, but when executing the report (RFBILA00), specify the account numbers. belonging to those nodes.
    3. You can create a new library for table GLT0 in transaction GR21 (not applicable for new GL!) Then you can create an easy report in Report Painter using transaction GRR1. You can then specify any account set (group of accounts, like a balance sheet node) to report on. Using report RGSBIL00 you can even copy your Financial Statement Version's nodes onto account sets and use those sets for your Report Painter report.
If I would be you, I'd use this latter approach.
    Hope that helps, points welcome

    Hi Dear ,
You can use F.08 for Trail Balance  and Vendor details - S_ALR_87012082 - Vendor Balances in Local Currency

  • Balance Sheet translation at spot rate at ANY point in time

My client produces its financial accounts in AUD.  They will have open items in AR, AP and Bank in foreign currencies.  WITHOUT running periodic valuation they wish to produce a Balance Sheet at any point in time during the month applying the applicable daily spot rate to valuate the Foreign Currency open items (for reporting purposes only).  I have run S_ALR_87012284 and maintained the special evaluations tab for Display Currency (AUD), Key date for translation (current date) and exchange rate type (spot rate type).  However, this does not appear to be revaluating the open items in the subledger accounts to produce the balance sheet at the current spot rate.  Appreciate input / alternate approach.  Cheers, Dean.

    Hi Chirag
As per Oracle following are the rules that has to be followed for translation.
    1. For Balance Sheet Accounts (Asset & Liabilities) GL as a default uses the YTD rule.
    2. For P&L Accounts you can choose between YTD and PTD rule. So in your case you can use the default PTD Rule. (Profile Option 'GL Translation: Revenue/Expense Translation Rule')
YTD Rule = (Translated Period Amount = Period-End Rate x YTD Ledger Currency Balance - Beginning Translated Balance).
PTD Rule = (Translated Period Amount = Period Average Rate x PTD Ledger Currency Balance)
    Hope this helps.

  • Exchange Rate difference in Balance Sheet-Revaluation in Foreign Currency

    Hi
I wanted more clarification on the Exchange rate difference the system calculates when we generate a balance sheet and revalue at a fixed rate. The system does not give a breakup of the echange rate calculated. How do we arrive at the exchange rate.
And after having the exchange rate entries posted in the system. Can the system the show these values in the Balance sheet after Revaluation

    Dear Gordan
Below mentioned is  the balance sheet which is Revaluated in Euro(System Currency)at a Fixed Rate of 1.42.
at the end of this report we can see that the system has calculated Exchange rate difference as Euro -66483.03 .We want a break up of that amount which is calculated by the system

  • Goods Receipt Posting to Balance Sheet

    Hi
When we carry out a Goods Receipt, the system posts an amount dirently to the P&L. As we want to accure the cost we then journal the value out of the P&L and onto a Balance Sheet. Is it possible that we post this amount directly to the Balance Sheet to avoid the manual journal?
Here are steps we currently do:
    Steps
    Transaction
    P&L
    B/S
    1
    Journal to accure cost
    100
    (100)
    2
Goods Receipt hits same accounts as step 1
    100
    (100)
    3
Manual journal to clear entries from step 1
    100
    100
    thanks
    Joe

    Hi,
It is going to P & L account as you might have assigned P & L account instead please assign balance sheet account and account type as Current Liabilities - Payable.
Hope this solves your issue else revert.

  • Report to retrieve balance sheet accounts in foreign and local currencies?

    Hello,
I have question regarding the availability of a report in SAP. I am wondering if a report exists in SAP to retrieve the total outstanding balances on any given date for all the balance sheet accounts (including GRIR trade) in both functional and foreign currency.
I am currently using the FAGLL03 to do this but the problem is that this report is timing out when I select too many accounts.
Does anyone know if such a report exists in SAP (besides the FAGLL03 which takes too long to run)?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Hi
A quick way is to  run FAGLL03 in the background as a scheduled job.

  • AR Aging 7 Bucket Summary Report Outstanding Amount Query

    Hi All,
Please help me on below query,
I want to do a report based on AR Customer Outstanding Balance/Amount and it should tally with AR Aging 7 Bucket Summary Report Outstanding Amount.
    7 Bucket Report used Parameters - (1000, 2025, ARXAGS, 50308, , Customer, C, B, 2013/03/19 00:00:00, Collections, SUMMARY, , , , , , , , , , , , NONE).
I tried my maximum, But some customers are tallying and some are not.
Please help me to write the query, to find the Customer Outstanding Balance which is tallying with Aging 7 Bucket Summary Report Outstanding Amount.
    Thanks

A UNION needs to have the same data types and number of columns in all of the SELECT statements. You added to the top half of the select, but not the bottom half. In your case it looks like there is a package generating dynamic SQL for the bottom half of the UNION. This code must be defined by a package:
&common_query_invYou will need to track down the package and see if you can determine what it is doing. Looks like you may have to copy this report if it is seeded, because you are not going to want to modify the seeded Oracle package.

  • Open Items Reconciling to Balance Sheet

    Hi
Please could someone confirm the following for me:
    - Open Items List - GRPO's less Good Returns should reconcile to Balance Sheet Account GRNI - at any given time
    - Open Items List - A/P Reserve Invoices - Not Yet Paid & Not Yet Delivered should reconcile to Balance Sheet Account Stock in Transit at any given time
    Thanks
    Lisa

    Hi,
Both account are clearing account. It should always reconcile automatically by the system if you
follow process properly. Some time user will create journal entry un expectly because of that it will
show the balance amount to be reconcile . In this case you have to make correction entry and
reconcile the account properly. In future you may block the JE for those clearing accounts.

  • When is 'Clearing Balance Sheet' and 'Clearing Inc Stmt item' used?

    Hi,
In what circumstances, clearing balance sheet item and clearing inc stmt items are used. Commonly, it's used for balance carry forward task, where system recognized the net profit for the year (in PL) and current ytd profit (in BS).
i was trying to post the following entry via manual posting and system generated additional 2 lines:
    DR Sales 100
    CR AR 100
DR Clearing BS item 100 < System auto generated additional one line
CR Clearing PL item 100 < System auto generated additional one line
(The above entry is enter at posting level 01)
I was trying to post another  2 balance sheet items via manual posting at posting level 30. There was no additional 2 lines created.
    Please advise.
    Regards, Renee

    Rene,
In real life there are usually closing periods in enterprises, when accountant close their books. Closing partially means that all revenues/gains and expenses/costs are summed up, and net profit in income statement calculated. During this procedure accountants usually make closing entries. After that this calculated net profit is to be transferred to balance sheet, to the retained earnings of the current year item.
In SAP SEM-BCS there are no closing entries. Instead, the system monitors whether entries in P&L were made. The P&L hierarchy in BCS has the following structure:
    - one main node under which all revenues and expenses are gathered
    - clearing item located OUTSIDE the P&L main node (equals to net profit).
The amount on the clearing item equals the sum of all P&L items under main node, with the opposite sign. So, the sum of P&L items & clearing item is zero.
If the system detects postings to the items located under P&L main node, it recalculates the net profit and adjust the clearing item in P&L accordingly. Since net profit in P&L should correspond to the RE in B/S, the system adjust clearing item in B/S also. So, AT ANY MOMENT the B/S & P&L in the system correspond each other. The work of special/clearing items is like pseudoclosing.
That's the purpose of these clearing items. And as I said earlier  they has nothing to do with balance carryforward.
Resume: in case of postings to P&L, the net profit changes and the system adjusts net profit in P&L & B/S (adds two additional entries).
There is NO NET PROFIT CHANGE (and additional entries) when postings made in the balance sheet ONLY (as in your case). -- (As you know, there is almost no possibility to make postings to clearing item in B/S).
