    Actually I have mandatory
    - bank account number
    - bank key

    Thank you

    hi,
As suggested earlier also, go to OBD3, select your vendor account group and double click on General data and then on payment transaction. here make the bank details field as optional. Else check for the same option in OB23 for both i.e Create vendor (finance) and Create vendor (Centrally).
    Your query will be solved.

  • Bank ALE Creates Dialog Processes

    Hi All,
We would like to use ALE to move bank master data from our legacy 4.6c system to our new ECC6.0 system.
It works fine, however, it appears that when SAP creates the inbound IDOC in the receiver system, it generates a dialog process per IDOC rather than using a single one and doing them serially.  When we send mass data loads, this causes issues with system performance.
Is there a way to force the ALE to only use a single dialog process?  I know it would take longer, but it will keep more dialog processes free to help overall performance.
    Thanks in advance.

Then you need to do in Source system this way
Use collect IDOCs as option in WE20 and increase the packet size with a large number.
and schedule RSEOUT00 in nightly batch , Then it will send all the IDOCs in one packet to to the other destination

  • How to avoid the House Bank when creating a vendor from the HR master data?

    Hi all,
I am using T-code PRAA in order to generate the vendors from the HR master data.
It works fine, but the programs tries to record a House Bank in the company code view of the vendor.
    Which I don't want.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the house bank ?
I already tried, by deleting the entry in the characteristic TRVHB, through PE03, but then, the file is not generated successfully.

    Hi Madhuri,
Best way to avoid such problem is to use TAB delimited file instead of comma separated data. Generally TAB does not appear in data.
If you are generating the file, use tab instead of comma.
If you cannot modify the format of file and data length in file is fixed character, you will need to define the structure and then move data in fixed length structure.

  • BDC  For Bank Reconsilation.

    Dear friends,
I want to create BDC for bank reconcillation using Tcodes FF67 and FEBA.
So I want to know whether we can create BDC for such a transactional data or there may be any other solution for the same. Beacuse it is very complicated process.
    Regards,
    Madan.

    hi kapilan,
i do have problems while creating BDC for FI12 T.Code.
After brief analysis i found that:
    1. its not standard transaction code but its part of customizing setting.
    2. at end it creates transport request.
after consulting our function consultant. the decision was to create different recordings for House Bank Adress data and bank accounts.
    try this way.

  • Create complex custom component

    Hi everyone!
I'm trying to create my own custom component in JSF. However I have several questions :
    - It is not mandatory to create a renderer class, right ? the component can draw itself ?
    - How can I create a custom component which would have several "values" inside ? for example let us supppose I want to create a custom JSF component to enter a IBAN. The IBAN is divided into several parts : BBAN, country code, key, Bank adresse,... but any tutorial I've found explain how to create a input component with only one simple value (for example the classical "CreditCardInputComponent").
    Josselin

    Hi,
did you find a solution for your "composite" component problem?
I am also trying to create a custom component that contains several standard jsf components such as HtmlCommandLink and HtmlInputText.
I build all the standard components within my component programmatically using things like:
    HtmlCommandLink link = (HtmlCommandLink) application.createComponent(HtmlCommandLink.COMPONENT_TYPE);
Also at the beginning of the encodeBegin I clear all children from my custom component using getChildren().clear()
and rerender the component based on my new internal model which I updated during the previous decoding of my component.
As a simple jsf custom tag it works ok, however, I am facing deep problems with action events as soon as I use the component within a jsf HtmlDataTable tag.
    Am I missing something here?
Any ideas? Help is really really appreciated. This different behavior in different contexts is slowly but constantly driving me nuts.
    cheers

  • TCode - FF67 - Manual Bank Reco - No open items were found

    Hi all,
We are getting the above error message on executing TCode - FF67 with the following steps made for the customisation of " Manual Bank Reco " :
    1.     Create Account Symbol
    2.     Assign Accounts to Account Symbol
    3.     Create Keys to Posting Rule
    4.     Define Posting Rules
There is no Bank Statement available with me since I am doing the testing in " Development Server ". Hence I have posted one entry  on 30.03.2008
    Elect. Acct...........Dr......Rs.2000/-
    To Vendor Acct.... Cr...................Rs. 2000/-
Assuming that Cheque Payment for the above amount has been cleared in UBI (Bank),I have now started executing TCode  - FF67

    Currency - INR
    Statement Number - 1
    Statement Date : 01.04.2008

    CHOU - 31.03.2008 - Rs. -2000 -     Blank                 -    111
    -> Save the data
When I go in TCode - FEBA
    I have selected - Posting Area as " G/L Accounting "
and click on Overview, system has shown me “ Red Cancellation Sign “with error message " To be posted " for Transaction " Y101 "
Further in same screen I have selected - Line Items -> Post. I got a window  "Post with Clearing : Header Data", I went on entering for further steps till I received a message " No appropriate line item is contained in this document "
Giving details of Posting Rules – Y101 for reference :
    Posting Rule - Y101
Posting Area - 1 (Bank Acctg)

    Dear all,
I am closing this issue since I got the solution apart from the mentioned above.
There is no need to change the Document Type since that will only change the Document type for e.g. from KZ to ZR, nothing will happen in the accounting entry.
Solution was there in the "Posting rule" which i defined for making Cheque Payment.
There are options of "Posting Type" - 1 which is for "Post to G/L Account" - In this case, system will Post the following entry Dr. Outgoing Bank Account & Cr. Main Bank Account without looking for any "Open Item".
Posting Type" - 4 is for "Clear Debit G/L Account", menans that if you are having "Open Items" and you want to clear those then only use this posting key.
While testing I had not posted any payment to vendor in Bank Outgoing Account hence no question of having "Open Items" in Bank Outgoing Account. And I had made the selection of "Posting Type" - 4, which require "Open Items" for direct clearing, hence was getting the subject error.
    This is for everybodies information.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Bank Statement for Reconciliation

    Dear All,
What is the disadvantage if we can use Electronic Bank Transfer for Bank Reconciliation.
There are two main obstacles in Customizing to quick and efficient installation of the electronic bank statement:
Creating the files UMSATZ.TXT and AUSZUG.TXT is a complex process. Experience has shown that many implementation errors arise from incorrect creation (format errors) of these files. Using actual files from the bank is also difficult as the files are usually very big.
The open items to be found and cleared using the electronic bank statement must usually be entered into the (test) system manually and with correct clearing information.   This information must also exist in the correct fields in the individual line items in the UMSATZ.TXT file (for example in the note to payee fields).
The above information provided in Electronic Bank Statement Implementation Tool as per Best Practice document.
Also understand that many obstacles and other problems faced by many implementation.
Is Manual Bank Statement uploading is advisable ?
    Reuqest your help and guidelines.

  • Issue with GL account determination of House Bank

    Hello everybody,
we have small hiccup with gl account determination for house bank while doing FBWE (bill of exchange) transaction.
I have configured the house bank and created a sub account for factoring and assigned values for G/L and Discount acct using FI12.
Even linking of these to g/l's has been done in FS00. We were expecting the g/l to be pickedup automatically, whenever the housebank and account id are given in transaction.
However, when we are doing FBWE transaction for COLLECTION, the posted document shows another g/l which i find as COLLECTION ACCOUNT in table T012K-WIKON(Subaccount for bill of exchange collection  - House Bank Accounts), though i am sure that i didnt assign this account anywhere in FI12 ( i couldnt see a place to attach it).
Can anybody guide me, how the <b>Subaccount for bill of exchange gets attached to a house bank and Account ID</b>? or where i might have gone wrong?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Lakshmi Narayana.S

    Thank you very much Dominik.
Indeed, entries are missing in  OBYK for the account i was having trouble.  Let me check with my functional guy to know what information needs to be maintained here.

  • DRQ: Allow choosing correct Business Partner bank account in Payment Wizard

    Hello,
This is a DRQ about the Payment process.
It concerns the "Payment Wizard" functionality (Menu "Banking --> Payment Wizard") and the "manual outgoing payments" creation (Menu "Banking --> Outgoing Payment --> Outgoing payment").
    Version : 2007A SP00 PL38
    Description of requirements :
In the current version of SBO ( 2007 SP00 PL38 ) when we create an outgoing payment with bank transfer as Payment method (manually or with the Payment Wizard), it is not possible to specify the Supplier "bank account" to use. The default bank account defined in the Supplier Master Data is automatically chosen by SAP B1.
We can create several bank accounts in the Supplier Master Data, but it is not possible to use the non-default ones in the outgoing payments creation.
    Business needs:
Some of our SAP B1 customers get suppliers with several bank accounts. They use the "Payment Engine" to generate "bank file" for bank transfer and forward the bank files to their banks and require to choose the correct bank accounts to use to pay each documents.
The aim of the Payment Wizard is to help the SAP B1 customers to create regularly and automatically some outgoing payments.
And when the Payment Wizard is run with several documents to pay on different supplier bank accounts for (for example AP Invoices to pay on different bank accounts for the same supplier), it does not work correctly because the bank account which is used in the "bank file" created at Step 9 of the "Payment Wizard" (by clicking the "Bank File" button added by the Payment Engine) is the default one.
    Current Workaround:
To generate correct bank files, the SAP B1 user has to run several times the "Payment Wizard", modifying each times the default bank account of the supplier. The result is the creation of several "bank files"...
and an important loss of time !
    Proposed solution:
In the Payment Wizard, in Step 6/9, add a column which allow the user choosing the bank account (for example in a "choose from list" which display the existing bank accounts of the corresponding supplier) for each document to pay.
The supplier default account is proposed by default but can be changed for each line.
This column should be deactivated for other payment method than "Bank Transfer".
This functionality should be interesting for manual outgoing payment because it should allow choosing the supplier bank account to pay on and recording this bank account information in the manual outgoing payment. In that way it will be possible to print the bak account information on the printed forms (PLD) we can print and send by fax to the bank.
    Kind Regards.
    Grégory

    Hi Grégory
I have encountered the same problem: The payment wizard always suggests the supplier's standard bank account, irrespective of the information entered on the logistics tab in the pay to field of the AP Invoice. Unlike the solution you proposed (choose from list), I would prefer the payment wizard to automatically select the bank entered in the pay to field of the AP Invoice.
    Best regards
    Christiane

  • Bank Clearing account

    Dear Friends,
I have a situation and would truely appreciate your help and points will be awarded. Receipt from a vendor is getting posted in a 11306015 which is a clearing account instead of 11306010 which is the <b>confirmed cash account</b> attached to the Bank Account in FI12. When i checked the document i found out that 11306010 got credited and 11306015 is a debited. Can any ody explain f the process is right or wrong. Which i believe is wrong, as receipt in the bank account by eletronic statement should sit in 11306010 not 11306015. And also let me know how to correct it. The Bank account is a foreign currency account and the user says -this situation happens only when the currency is not USD or Euro.
    Any help friends !

    Hi,
Settings for Manual BRS also same like EBS.. only thing here we will give our own business transactions..
All bank GL Accounts should have masking logic.. eg: 230101 is for main bank 230201 is for Incoming Check 230301 is for Outgoing check .. this is only for one bank like that we have to define for others as well.
In the House bank we will tag Main bank account.
Go to IMG --> FI --> Bank Accounting -->Payment Transactions --> Manual Bank Statement - Create and Assign Business Transactions
Here we have to define business transactions like...
Transaction types eg: Z001 - Outgoing cheques -ve indicator Posting rule z001 - enter text
Got to second node: Define Posting Keys and Posting Rules for Manual Bank Statement
Here we have to define all 4 steps
Above masking logic will helpful here
    1. create account symbols eg:ZOutgoing checks ... and Main Bank
    2. Assign accounts to account symbols (Here we have to assign all bank accounts to account symbols)
Acc.Mod: Put + Currency+ If the GL Lenght is 6 .. We have to enter GL Account like this --> XXXX2303XX so up to 99 gl accounts we can masking rule...
3.Create posting rule eg:z001 outgoing checks
    4. Define posting rules ... Under debit .. postinkg key blank, account symbol Z001 Credit : Posting key 50 account symbol:Main and document type ZP and posting Type 4
Through above steps we have to follow for other transactions...

  • Exchange Rate Differences when clearing a bank item

    Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem when I try to clear a bank item with the bank statement because the document is creating two exchange rate differences, first one debiting to loss account and the other one credting to gain account. I'm not pretty sure if this behavior is the right one but It does not make any sense to me.
I'll detail step by step the process I'm following:
    Example:
1.- I create an invoice with an exchange rate type of 15
2.- Then I make the incoming payment with an exchange rate type of 16 (This causes an exchange rate item that is correct for me. Exchange rate Item is for 10 usd)
3.- Then I try to clear the bank item created (same exchange rate than the incoming payment = 16), and now document creates two exchange rate items, the first one debiting to loss account for 10 usd and the second one crediting to gain account for 10 usd.
Could you please help me in order to know if this is ok?
    I really appreciate your help
    Thanks in advance
    Best Regards
    Manuel Nieto

    Hi everyone,
Thanks everyone for your replies. I've realized what's happening, and its related to document split. Because as bank item in incoming payment was splitted, when I try to clear this item ,split happens again no matter if at clearing point exchange rate type is the same as in the incoming payment, that's the reason of the two items one debiting and one crediting for the same amount.
    Thanks very much
Best Regards and thanks for your help.
