Hi i was on my ipad2 playing my railway when a message popped up saying i've been banned for CHEATING don't/didn't know this could be done also been given a code can anyone explain ??????????

    We found recentlly in the SUS installation directory two JRE deployments: one installer, and one installed JRE.
    It was JRE 7u51.
    A ban for SUS on our systems.

    Today my account banned for rules of skype 6.3 (c). But it's BIG WRONG!
    1. I didn't send SPAM to anyone
    2. I didn't use MASSIVE sending to many people
    (3) I think skype banned me automaticly because in debate with my friend I was sending many time (about 500) links to one page with argument.
    I have a bit questions:
    1. Can I transfer contacts to new skype?
    2. What I must do for unban my skype?

  • Pages 5.5 update a bane for script-writers?

    So after spending the weekend upgrading my devices and computers to iOS 8.1 (Cause I did not have confidence in iOS 8.0) and Mac OS X Yosemite, I also upgraded related apps to their latest versions. I'm a creative writer and have a few scripts I'm working on.
    So I was settling down with my coffee when I got the inspiration for a new script, I opened up Pages 5.5 (2109) on my iMac and was just about to click on the 'Screenplay' template as I ususally do, only it wasn't there... And neither was the story-board template.
    A quick search of the discussions here did not show any related to my issue. Its more of a slight nuisance than anything, as I could always format the script manually, but its a bit of a bane for me as I'm used to the ease and convenience of trusting in the templates provided.
    Am I the only one that noticed these templates have gone missing?

    The screenplay template is in Pages ’09 v4.3, and omitted in all subsequent releases of Pages v5 since October 2013. You might perform a quick check to see if Pages ’09 was quietly moved into /Applications/iWork '09 folder.
    All alternative word processing applications for the Mac now offer more sensible, and less productivity stealing functionality than Pages v5.5. Do not open a Pages ’09 document in Pages v5.5 without first making a backup copy, as any older features that are not supported are silently filtered out of the document.
    As a writer, you will quickly discover that Apple's redesign of Pages is the very antithesis of a productive word processing tool.

  • Apple Game Center - when will mods be brought in to admin for cheats?

    One thing that gets on the pec-ends of many is the blatant cheating that goes on in Game Center. I don't know about anyone else, but I was led to believe that GC was doing to be different to OpenFeint, Agon, Crystal and whatever-the-feck-else there is out there. I'm guessing not.
    Take a look at the leaderboard for Super Mega Worm; the top 25 are all in the two billions, with the top 14 at 2,147,483,647 (7FFFFFFF in hexadecimal, the largest possible integer to be expressed in 32 bits) when most non-cheating scores don't even crack 7 digits, and scores which are not a multiple of 5 when that's how SMW scores. Or Angry Birds Seasons - someone "scored" just short of a million in the Christmas levels, when everyone else was down in the 60-70,000 area because there was only one Christmas level available at the time.
    The iDevices that are being used in these cases are clearly jailbroken - if Apple was true to itself, and genuinely trying to discourage hacking of its hardware, it would have moderators for GC, wipe out any blatant cheating, warn and/or ban the accounts they were done from, and the serials of any device used to prevent repeat offences. It wouldn't be that hard to do - or would it just make too much sense...?

  • Google AdSense & Adobe Air: Got banned for achieving success with my air apps

    I don't know if this is the right place to post it, but I'd like to tell you my little success story and warn about the implications that might come from the use of google adsense - probably
    the most popular mobile ad provider after google gave up on admob. Here it goes:
    Today I received an email from uncle Google stating that my account had been suspended due to the implementation of mobile AdSense ads in my apps, which is supposedly against the rules, even though I couldn't find anything specific that would support their claims in their terms of use. Nevertheless, to cut long story short, I've been easily making EUR50-60 and having 30-40k views a day (just in 2.5 months since the day I developed my first app on google play). So, as you can see, we're talking here about a really nice revenue, and it's just from my AIR apps.
    Unfortunately, when a developer does achieve success, people at google start checking them up in hopes of finding any reason to claim their hard-earned money and ban their accounts (I had on my adsense account somwhere around EUR 2000 - about EUR 1700 from apps and EUR 300 from my websites, and yes, google has taken it all, even the cash from the websites).
    This entire situation is really aggreviating and saddening. I mean, I've spent so much time, and money as well, promoting and developing my apps, and the only thing I get is a slap in the cheek . God that feels bloody awful. I believe that taking the matter to the court won't help either, as google has a paragraph in their terms of use stating that everything belongs to them, and that they can ban you at will without giving the reason. But what is the most insolent and infuriating is that they thanked me for "my cooperation and understanding, and wished me a nice day." - for realz google, you don't have to kick a lying men...
    The punch line of this depressing story is that if you only have the opportunity to transfer the money from your adsense account, or from any other ad provider your using on a daily basis, just DO IT and don't wait till they find anything on you and claim your revenue.
    Dear ADOBE, what's the real point of Air apps if we don't even have a viable and safe way to monetize our applications. Why do we have to be treated by the mobile ads providers as "subdevelopers"? We just want to get legally paid for our work. Is that too much to ask?

  • Skype for Business banned after 30 mins

    Hello,
    I created a Skype for Business account and 30 minutes later it was banned for violation of term. Please help me reinstate my account. Skype team refuse to tell which clause I violated. I honestly believe I have wronged nobody. How do i violate anything in such a short amount of time?

    Hi apple, recently my cousin gave me iPhone 4 16 GB ... but unfortunately facetime isn't available and after a research a found out facetime is banned for Saudi Arabia but i live in Bangladesh ... Can't make a video call with out Grameenphone 3G service because of banning facetime .... Need a update for location based video calling ... If skype isn't banned yet then why facetime .......????

    Because the UAE and Saudi Arabian governments have banned it in their countries. iPhones originating from those countries will never have it.

  • Re: My experience in getting the 90 day return ban

    Returned today a BOSE Soundlink Mini.  Turns out my grandson prefers a more "sporty" bluetooth portable speaker!  I was going to return the BOSE and check out the JBL Charge 2. However when  I noticed that the CS agent was looking hard at a piece of paper the register had just spit out my plans were abruptly  changed!   He handed it to me with a rather "sheepish" expression when he told me I had been banned from future returns for 90 days!  He said he had never seen this before.  Boy, didn't I feel special!!
    I had questions so, as the notice instructed me to do if I had any questions, I called TRE.  The nice but very hard to understand agent was quick to tell me there is nothing they can do regarding the ban except to send me a list of my returns.  According to the piece of paper the CS agent gave me, I could dispute the accuracy or completeness of the info.  Apparently this would be an act of futility since I had already been told nothing can be done about my ban.  
    I told the nice foreign lady that I did not want to go through the hassle.  Instead, I looked for and found this forum to let me vent my feelings about this most egregious BB policy.  Giving an outside organization authority to determine which customers will and who will not be banned is iresponsibe and from a marketing standpoint,  just plain stupid!  
    Although I did not get a list of my returns, I believe I know at least two of them in addition to the one today mentioned earlier.
    * As an "early adapter" I am sometimes disappointed with the latest best and greatest new product.  Case in point is the Motorola Moto 360 I purchased from BB.   I returned it because of its short battery life.  It wouldn't even last one day.  This has since become a well known defect and Motorola has issued an update to improve battery life.
    * Since I liked the concept of the Smart Watch, I purchased a Pebble Watch. I returned it the next day as the screen was defective.
    There may have been others but I cannot recall them.
    Well, .... thanks for listing.  It's a real shame too since I had my eye on several items from BB during the Black Friday extravaganza.  No way could I be 100% positive whether or not I would need to return an item!  Since I do not want to get stuck with a below par or defective item,  Amazon, Walmart, etc will be getting my business and Best Buy can kiss my rear end good by forever.

     A few days ago I joined this forum to vent my feelings about Best Buy's allowing a third-party source to determine who should be penalized with the 90 day return ban.  Apparently since I was new, I couldn't initiate a new thread so I had to piggy-back on another member's thread:  "My experience in getting the 90 day return ban".  You can read my comments   here
    I ordered the RAR report and here are my findings.  All of this info can be verified by BB:
    * SKU 5064393 - Samsung Galaxy 2 pad - Purchased 8/5/12 - returned 8/15/12 .... NOTICE: 2012!! ... I had decided to change from Apple IOS to ANDROID IOS.   Didn't like it as I thought I would.  Returned the Samsung and stayed with my Apple iPad Air
    * SKU 9713881 - Pebble Smart Watch  - Purchased 9/29/14 - returned 9/30/12 .... Screen was DOA.  Defective.  Returned next day to BB.  While there, purchased the new MOTO 360 (see next item)
    * SKU 9169039 - Motorola MOTO 360  -  Purchased 9/30/14 - Returned 10/3/14 ... Didn't take long to know this watch was not yet ready for prime time.  Watch wouldn't last one day on the battery.  This was a well  known defect at the time on the MOTO 360.  Battery life has since been improved with a firmware update.  This is what you get sometimes when one is an early adapter like me!  Purchased another Pebble Watch while I was there ... figured I would give the Pebble another chance.
    ** NOT ON RAR REPORT ** SKU 9713809 - Pebble Smart Watch - Purchased 10/3/14 on BestBuy.Com  .... Still wearing it and love it **

    * SKU 9154107 - BOSE Soundlink Mini - Purchased 11/11/14 - Returned 11/24/14 .... Gift for 16 year-old grandson. I picked out one I would like to have.  Grandson had different ideas.  BOSE was "old fashioned" looking.  He much preferred the JBL Charge 2 or the Logitech Ultimate Ears Boom in colors.  HERE'S THE KICKER!!!  This was the return where I was presented the "WARNING 90 DAY RETURN BAN"!    I was going to buy my Grandson the JBL after I returned the BOSE.  Needless to say, I did not do so.  Instead, WalMart was happy to take my money!!!  My Grandson is now happy with his Red Charge 2.
    I never received any notice that I was in danger of being "banned" for 90 days.  I was "awarded" my ban the day I returned the BOSE speaker! 
    BEST BUY ..... considering the above information (all of which can be verified) do you really think I deserved the 90 day ban.  If someone at you company had the chance to review my purchase record prior to my ban do you think I would still have been banned?  Would you have lost a customer? (NO).   Would you have prevented some bad publicity getting out because of a disgruntled customer (YES).
    And, ... one last thing.  Over the Thanksgiving holiday I purchased a 4K 55" TV,  Denon AVR-S900W Receiver and a set of Definitive Technology- ProCinema speakers. Non of which I purchased from Best Buy.

  • Banned from iTunes (but we're not telling you why) - say what?

    i've used iTunes for years, without mishap.  two weeks ago when I tried to buy a TV series I got the following error message: "Your purchase could not be completed, for assistance contact iTunes support at - etc".  emailed iTunes support, got a quick response, person said she'd looked into the account, tweaked something and I was good to go.  shortly thereafter i tried to buy a different TV episode, same error message.  A bit peeved, I emailed the nice lady who said she'd fixed my iTunes problem, she got back to me quickly, said she'd looked at the account, tweaked something and all was well.  today i tried to buy a book from iTunes - same error message.  emailed iTunes support again. 
    this time i got a different response.  part of the response follows:
    I have taken a look into your account, and after consulting with a specialized department that deals with these types of errors, we have determined that your iTunes Store account “[email protected]” has been used in a manner that is in violation of the Terms of Use for the iTunes Store. 
    I am so sorry for the inconvenience with this, but we are unable to disclose the exact area within which your account was not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. You can most definitely review the terms on your own by checking the following link:

    Please note that you will still be able to play, authorize, and sync all of the items that were purchased using this account. You may not be able to receive new updates however, for any of your previously purchased content.
    So,  iTunes has determined that i've done something really awful, so awful that i've been banned (for life???) from downloading iTunes content, and apparantly so awful they won't tell me what they think i've done wrong. 
    I am dumbfounded by this.  i don't know if someone else used my account, but since iTunes support refuses to give me any reason for the ban, i am stumped.
    has anyone else dealt with a similar problem?  what recourse do i have?  after receiving the email noted above asking for more details i got a response that simply restated that they would not tell me anything about my situation and again suggested i review the terms at the link.

    I have exactly the same issue. Tried to purchase Winnie the Pooh audio book for my daughter.
    Strange error messages in itunes store and then when I wrote to Apple received the same letter as you.
    Very strange letter, which seems to have been cut and pasted by a bot as it is has several errors. Not what I expect from Apple. It seems as though my account is unable to make purchases or update purchases I already made all because of something that they will not disclose. "We are unable to comment on the exact area within which your account was not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions." Then it refers me to the terms and conditions - as though that is going to help?? Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the card. My many Mac and OS devices have never been unlocked, hacked or interfered with. My itunes account is activated on 4 machines. I can't think of any violations to their terms and conditions. Doesn't the interface mitigate against attempted violations anyway?  
    Doesn't Apple want to be my friend?
    Meanwhile no Winnie the Pooh.

    I used a flash baner for my site (that designed by ASP.net) that this baner binded to a xml file that read the image file name frome it.
    When I want to use this baner in my site I have a problem that it dosent show with the same code that I use previously .

    Yep, you don't get banned for no reason. The fact that all three of your accounts have been banned means you have definitely been up to no good on a large scale. If all have been banned, you were either doing something you shouldn't on each of those profiles, or you have done something like modded your console.  There's no point living in denial, you've been busted and you just need to stop playing innocent and accept the punishment you've been given. Sony don't actively monitor these forums, and they wouldn't discuss this kind of thing on an open forum any way, so the only thing you're going to get here is 'It's your own fault' from the community.
