I already post this in QM forum but i think now if you check the update is a ABAP question too so i repost this here too
sorry if is not.
Hello i not sure if this is the right place for this question because the abap subject of it , but my problem is not a abap i think is more a pure QM config/master data issue but i not a QM expert ( just abaper ) and i need some hints.
i am trying use the FM BAPI_INSPOPER_GETDETAIL i pass the lot number and the operation lot number but i get a error tell me
that the operation for that lot is not unique when i check the matchcode ( searchhelp ) in the QE11 of this lote ins true i can see 2
operation BUT WITH THE SAME NUMBER !! , but one is mark like not relevant for insp ( grey square ) and other is relevent for inps ( yellow triangle ) even with the FM BAPI_INSPLOT_GETOPERATIONS i get 2 operation with the same number but not the same WORKCENT. i think this is not a right config of QM but not sure , what i can look for solve this ? is right have 2  operation with the same number but dif WORKCENT one relevant and another not for inps ?
Thanks.
update: i check this other operation is a overhead operation add by the PP people , how i can handle this ? how i can make this irrelevant for use the BAPI ?

i change the operation number for the pararell sequence and now work

    Note that you should be cautious when you get the 'untrusted' error message and that you should never create a permanent exception in cases like this without investigating the cause.
    If you have created a permanent exception then best is to remove it in the Server tab in the Certificate Manager.

    Please help.. this issue is killing me everyday.

    Hello, I had a similar problem, and finally, thanks to this thread I could find the solution.
    In development enviroment the application worked, but in production it didn't work (W2k8 with IIS 7 and MVC3 with Crystal Reports 11). When I tried to generate a pdf document I got the error:
    Operation not yet implemented.
    I tried to solve the trouble by reading a lot of information about CR. I discarded troubles with the font, so I focused in the temp dir in CR. I wanted to avoid give permissons to the application user to the windows temp dir.
    Finally I found out there's a registry key that can change the temp directory in CR:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Report Application Server\InprocServer\TempDir
    I have an x64 OS, so in the x86, it should be
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Report Application Server\InprocServer\TempDir
    This key doesn't exist by default. I created this with the value: D:\CRTemp, but I keep the same error, but I could check that when I generated the reports, some files appeared in that directory.
    So my research continued. Thanks to your advices, I used the Process Monitor to see what was happening, so I could see the real problem. It was that the CR was trying to read a file called D:\CRTEMPReport{.....}.rpt.
    So I changed the Key, with a final backslash (D:\CRTemp\). When I changed that, everything worked fine, using that new key.
    Maybe my experience can help people with similar troubles.
    Thanks for your advices Ludek.

  • Ln -s on a NAS device gives - Operation Not Permitted

    Hi,
    I am installing Oracle Database on a NAS mounted drive and the installation fails.
    The reason is I am not able to create softlinks on the drive.
    ln -s a b
    gives the error : Operation Not permitted.
    I use the following mount command to mount the NAS
    mount -t smbfs //machine/share /share username=oracle,password=oracle
    Thanks

    mount -t smbfs //machine/share /share username=oracle,password=oracleWhich user has executed this command?
    In case it was "root" (I belive that) then only root can create that symlink.

  • NFS: Operation not applicable

    hi,
    when i try to share a file i get this error: Operation not applicable
    i did this:
    # share -f nfs -o ro /home/myfiles/ftp1
    and i have put it in the /etc/dfs/dfstab
    what might be the problem???
    um connected as root telnet, is this the problem!!
    thanks.

    Hello.
    The problem could be the "/home" directory.
    Under Solaris "/home" is a very special directory which maps different home directories. For example: In a network installation if your home directory lies on a server and you log in Solaris will mount the server's home disk and map your NFS home directory to /home/netuser.
    It's important to know that Solaris will remove /home/netuser when you log out so that the /home directory is EMPTY whenever there is no user logged in.
    Try to share the REAL home directory (if you have a "normal" installation this will be "/export/home/myfiles/ftp1").
    I hope this helps.

  • [SOLVED] ALSA equal "Operation not permitted"

    I need to start a script at startup to run sound through a PCM type EQUAL.
    I created the alsaequal package from the AUR repository.
    https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/alsaequal/
    I tried to try on a newly installed Arch X86, seems to be a permissions issue when trying to access the pcm from a non-interactive session.
    If I run a SSH session and leave it running as a daemon, it works perfectly, but if I try to load from systemd to have it in the boot, there is no way to make it work.
    For example:
    / usr/bin/aplay-D equal /root/piano2.wav
    But if it is run from the "units" start as a service, displays an error that does not have permissions to access the pcm.equal.

  • htmlb:tree : Node IDs not unique - error handling

    From an internal table of customers and contact persons, I made a tree using TVIEWNODE2 structure. Some of the customers are not having contact persons for which contact person ids are simply '00000000'. Thus these nodes may not be unique here. Somehow everything is working fine but sometimes I am getting the above error mentioned in subject.
    Actually I have a tabstrip and one of the items of tabstrip contains tree. The occurrence of this error is not at all uniform , sometimes it works and sometimes don't. It's very difficult to find when and why it's triggered. In the same situation and circumstances sometimes it works and sometimes doesn't.Appearance of this error is irrespective of whether tree is operated or any other event is handled.
    Can anybody throw light on this? Thanks in advance.

    hi thomas
    you are absolutely correct when you say that the error occurs in the second request cycle. do i need to clear the tree table then?
    As you said , if the application is stateful, the best place is 'On create' event to write the code. But my application is stateless and that is why I am hesitant to put the code in 'On create' and rather placed it in 'On request' event where I am getting the cookie of internal table from which I am preparing tree table.
    So, I think keeping the code in 'On request' as before but ensuring that the table is cleared everytime will solve the problem. But let me check this and tell you.
    I am very thankful for your quick replies and focussing on my problem. thanks a lot.
    I will let you know the outcome soon.

  • Error while exporting to PDF - Operation not yet implemented

    Hi,
        We using C# Dot Net 2005 and Crystal Report for Dot Net 2005 and we are trying to export to PDF file.  In one of the reports, we are using a Font "Shree-Kan-0850' from Shree Samhita, a SDK to build application in Indian regional languages. But we are getting an error as follows:-
    "Error in File C:\Document~1....\{....}-.rpt: Operation not yet implemented.". When we tried in various sites and forums found that it was due to some non-standard fonts. We have checked that if we remove Shree-Kan-0850 font from report, it works fine and once included the error comes. So problem might by from this font. Whether Crystal report is not supporting other than Windows standard fonts or the problem with PDF? Because with same font we can export to DOC, XLS etc. Please guide us how to solve this?
    Thanks and regards,
       Rajeev Vandakar, Bangalore.

    Unfortunately, it looks like that font has many issues. Googling 'Univers Condensed Fonts .net' gets a number of interesting posts. E.g.;
    Univers 67 Bold Condensed Font does not show in my Flash Fonts List
    See if you can select the font in the properties window of the VS.NET IDE.
    It would also be interesting to see if the following will work in a new test app:
    Private Sub Form1_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object,
    ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
         Label1.Font = New Font("Univers 57 Condensed Font – Univers 57 Condensed", 12, FontStyle.Regular)
    End Sub

    I downloaded the HP Universal printer driver for a LaserJet 4250dn network printer to our server running SERVER 2008 SP2.
    I dowloaded the zipped executable files for both the PCL5 and PCL6 drivers to the desktop and ran the EXE to unzip the files. When I tried to run the INSTALL.EXE file (as an ADMINISTRATOR) for BOTH drivers, the following occurs:
    Answer YES to EULA
    Select TRADITIONAL MODE (or DYNAMIC MODE - it doesn't matter - neither one works)
    Click INSTALL
    Immediately I get the error OPERATION COULD NOT BE COMPLETED (error 0x900f0214)
    Click OK
    Click FINISH
    This happens with both the PCL5 & PCL6 driver installations.
    I activated FILE SHARING, PRINTER SHARING, and NETWORK DISCOVERY but did not solve the problem.
    I was logged in as the Domain Administrator and the Local Admin also.

  • Layer Comps To Files - Export error: Could not complete this operation. There are no user slices

    I have been using the Export Layer Comps To Files scrips that ships with Adobe Photoshop CS5 for a while and found it very useful, apart from the numbers it automatically adds as a prefix to the layercomp name.
    A friend pointed me in the direction of a altered version of this scrips which removes the numbers and only exports the layer comp name, gerat I thought. Not great! After using this successfully for a while the scrip started to throw up errors whenever I attempted to export. Either "No layer comps found" or "Adobe Save for Web & Devices Error: Could not complete this operation. There are no user slices." As I knew there were layercomps for the first error and knew that I had not created any slices for the second error I was pretty miffed. Fortunately I had the foresight to make a copy of the original script from the Photoshop presets library.
    I have since deleted the offending script out of my presets folder and copied the original script back in however the error still persists. I constantly receive Adobe Save for Web & Devices Error: Could not complete this operation. There are no user slices. I have searched the forums and around the net to try and find a solution for this problem but none seem to present themselves. I am perplex how this error can persist when the original script is now being used.
    If there's is anyone out there who can help me resolve this I'd be most grateful. As I say I've tried to resolve this myself and am pretty computer savvy but this one has defeated me
    Thanks in advance

    The problem seems to be already solved, but I'm commenting this for future reference.
    This has happened to me too and I think I know what causes it.
    It happens when you...
    1) Do "Save for Web" with the "All User Slices" selected in the dropdown menu "Slices".
    (This can only be done with a file that has a user slice)
    2) Then try to use the "Layer Comp to Files" script to a file that doesn't have any slices.
    To avoid this you need to once open a file that "has" a user slice and save with
    the "All Slices" option in the "Slices" menu and then go back to the file you want
    to run the script to.
    When you run the script, the saved "Slices" option from the previous export seems to
    be used and causes an error when there are no user slice.
    I also found a fix to the script to avoid this error to come out.
    This can be also applied to the fix to "remove the numbers" added to the head of the
    exported file names.
    The number removal script goes something like this...
    var fileNameBody = exportInfo.fileNamePrefix;
    if (fileNameBody != "") fileNameBody += "_";
    fileNameBody += compRef.name;
    this should replace the "Layer Comps to Files.jsx" lines 188-190.
    In addition to that, the script below needs to be added below line 818 and line 863.
    (This line numbers are those before any alterations to the "Layer Comps to Files.jsx" script)
    var idSWsl = charIDToTypeID( "SWsl" );
    var idSTsl = charIDToTypeID( "STsl" );
    var idSLAl = charIDToTypeID( "SLAl" );
    desc4.putEnumerated( idSWsl, idSTsl, idSLAl );
    The line right above where the above script should be inserted should read as the following...
    desc4.putPath( id44, new File( exportInfo.destination + "/" + fileNameBody + ".png") );
    Actually it can be added any where after the "desc4" variable is declared but I specified just
    to make it simple.
    This sets the "Save for Web" "Slices" settings to "All User Slices".

    no, that would not have anything to do with it. as i said, those are most likely just errors in the permissions database. as i said, leopard was notorious for those. snow leopard is not as bad but produces a number of them too. I just haven't seen this particular kind of messages before. reinstalling SL will fix them but it seems like a serious overkill in this case.

    When I try to update my software, I'm receiving the error message "Failed to check for updates. The operation couldn't be completed. Operation not permitted."
    I'm using Safari 4.0.3. Yes, I know this is an old version of Safari - I can't update it, or any other software on my MacBook. Should I just wait for the Lion OS, or is there any kind of fix a non-technical Mac user like me can attempt without screwing up her laptop?
    I've tried clearing my cache and resetting Safari already - doesn't help. I've also tried to update after disabling my (Norton) antivirus software, thinking that might be interfering. None of these help.
    I don't know if it's a related problem, but also I can't download .pdf files from the internet, although I used to be able to.

    You should use the NortonAV uninstaller to uninstall it. Disabling the dreadful thing in the past hasn't always been sufficient for it to cease creating system havoc. The Mac NortonAV version has a long and well-earned reputation for doing truly seriously nasty things to OS X. Shame on Comcast for inflicting NortonAV on its Mac customers. It's not a matter of if NortonAV will mess up OS X but when and how badly. I can't help but wondering if some setting in your Norton AV has decided that NortonAV, rather than you, will be making executive decisions about what you are allowed to install on your computer and is keeping that fact a secret.
    After you are done uninstalling Norton use the finder to search for any Norton files that the uninstaller might have missed. Add the option to search for invisible files.
    After you have removed all the Norton bits and pieces restart in safe mode by holding down the shift key right after the startup chime. Keep holding down the shift key until you see the Apple logo and spinning gear. Safe mode does some maintenance tasks which means a much longer than normal startup time. Use Disk Utility to repair permission
    If your Mac works normally in safe mode restart. If things still aren't fixed you might want to give another shot at reinstalling Snow Leopard from the install DVD and applying the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo before taking your Mac to the Apple Store.
    If you feel the need to run AV software on your Mac use ClamXav in manual mode. It's donationware and doesn't seem to cause the litany of weird problems that are associated with other AV software.
