BAPI_MATPHYSINV_CHANGECOUNT for AFS systems / grid level

I'm looking for a BAPI that is equivalent to BAPI_MATPHYSINV_CHANGECOUNT but for AFS systems.
I'm writing a program to change inventory counts at the grid level but BAPI_MATPHYSINV_CHANGECOUNT does not seem to address grids. 
Has anyone else experienced this?

I am also working in the AFS (Garment manufacturing company), I also have 3 dimensional Grid for colou, cup ,size in Material for Sales order creation.
I need sales order creation using BAPI.

    why do want to select the data from PSA table ?Already your trying to load data from PSA to DSO.
    you want to populate the AFS field value in DSO right?
    1. First you have to add AFS field in ur DSO
    2. Write the Start routine based on ur scenario(select the data based on ur scenario and put into internal table).
    3. wirte AFS field leval  transfer routine(Read the corresponding record based on docu num,item num) pass into RESULT.

                  We are implementing MTO scenario for our client. I have maintained  strategy group for FERT is 40 and strategy group for HALB and ROH are 20.
                   For single level BOM , requirements is not getting generates properly.
                  I would like to know What are all the settings is required to create AFS BOM.(single and multi level)

    As we know AFS materials are planned at SKU level (Grid and stock categories)  you can use AFS MRP (/N/AFS/MD02) only.
    Please refer OSS note Note 981747 - FAQ - AFS Production Planning
    Question 5 Made-To-Order Planning -Multi-Level (MD50) does not work for AFS Materials and Sales Orders containing AFS materials.
    Answer: Made to Order Multi level planning functionality was never enhanced for AFS and hence transaction MD50 is not supported.
    Steps are as,
    1. Create a MTO/PTO sales order for an AFS material.
    2. Run AFS MRP using transaction code /AFS/MD02.
    3. Convert the planned order to production order.

  • AFS Material Master - UPC code at SKU (Grid) Level

    Hello experts,
    I understand that on the AFS Material Master there is a field for UPC code on the Basic Data tab.  If you wanted to store the UPC at the SKU level (Grid level) based on Grid Values, where would you enter that data?  Is it stored on the Material Master?

    This development was done almost 4 years back and can give you the general overview of the solution.
    The program is done in 3 steps
    1. Characteristics creation
    2. Update Characteristic values
    3. Create master grid number using IDOC.
      1. Create characteristic.
                  BAPI_CHARACT_CREATE - BAPI to create the characteristics
                  BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT - BAPI commit to characteristic
      2. Update Characteristic values
    BAPI_CHARACT_CHANGE -> BAPI to update the value of the characteristics.
                  BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT - BAPI commit to characteristic
      3. Create Master Grid
                 Use FM IDOC_CREATE_ON_DATABASE to create the idoc and FM 
                  APPLICATION_IDOC_POST to post the idoc
    The Basic type & Message Types are J3AGRI02 & J3AGRI

  • Pricat 832 in AFS system

    Hi,
    We have a requirement to send price catalogue out of an AFS system. Can we use Pricat02 idoc for that purpose or this? I know it works in in IS-Retail, not sure about other systems. If anyone has used it in AFS, please confirm it. Also, How do we get material size and color info in this idoc as AFS works on the concepts of grids..

    Unfortunately, price catalog functionality was never enhanced for AFS (included release 6.5), therefore you'll have to go with custom development/segment for adding AFS data like price at sku, dimension(s), sku group, or category level.

  • BAPI for AFS BOM Creation through Cost Sheet

    Hello Experts,
    Is there any way to create the AFS BOM through BAPI.
    Client requirement is to create the automatic AFS BOM through Cost Sheet (KKE1), I already developed custom Cost Sheet as per the requirement .
    When we create the Cost Sheet Using KKE1 / ZKKE1, automatically AFS BOM should be create in the system with all grid values of component.
    I'm not getting how should I create the AFS BOM using all the components in the Cost Sheet with Grid values.
    There is no issue in creation of simple BOM using Bapi but for AFS BOM I'm facing problem.
    Please suggest and also tell the possibility.

    Hi!  Thanks for your help.  I used CS_BI_BOM_CREATE_BATCH_INPUT1 and was able to create the BOMs successfully.  My problem now is on the change.  I tried using CS_BI_BOM_CHANGE_BATCH_INPUT but I kept running into various errors.  I think it has something to do with the fields that I am populating in the structures and tables that are being passed to the BAPI.  I tried researching for CS_BI_BOM_CHANGE_BATCH_INPUT but could not find any match.  The function module documentation is not available as well.  If you have used this FM in the past, will appreciate if you could share some inputs on how you were able to make this work.  Thanks a lot!

    Pricing of a grid product is associated with the grid.
    So the prices are at grid level and not at the main item level.
    Thatu2019s the reason, prices will be shown corresponding to the grid in the grid screen instead of in product catalog.
    You need to change the user setting to include the price info

    You need to do the following.
    Please check the Pricing indicator of that material in the material master - under AFS sales Data view.
    If you want to carry out Grid level prizing - the pricing indicator should be 01.
    And also ensure the following..
    In SPRO - IMG - SD - Basic Functions - Pricing - Pricing control - Define AFS specific condition types.
    Check the check box - Dim.Condition(for Grid level pricing) - against your condition type - which will make the condition type to be treated as AFS-specific.

    We recently updated our development environment to Visual Studio 2010. We have previously deployed (with success) .Net stored procedures from Visual Studio 2005 to our Oracle 10gR2 database. I am currently trying to configure a local instance (called local) of Oracle 10gR2 database to test deployment of .Net stored procedures to Oracle 10gR2 via Visual studio 2010 and ODT version 11.2.0.1.2. I have built the demo from the ode developer guide and gotten as far as deploying it but executing the stored procedures from VS 2010 or SQL*Plus produces the following error...
    ORA-20100: AppDomain could not be created for the specified security level
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_CLR", line 152
    ORA-06512: at "SCOTT.GETDEPTNO", line 7
    Here is what I have done.
    (Server)
    1. Installed oracle 10gR2 with ODE.Net
    2. Installed Oracle 10gR2 patch set 22
    3. Installed ODE upgrade from Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio .NET with Oracle 10g Release 2 ODAC 10.2.0.2.21
    (Client)
    4. Installed Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio .NET with Oracle 10g Release 2 ODAC 10.2.0.2.21 (In new client home).
    5. Installed patch set 22 on 10g client home.
    6. Installed Oracle 11g Release 2 ODAC 11.2.0.1.2 with Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio(in new 11g client home, only for VS 2010)

    The database appears to be fully functional via TOAD - SQL plus etc. I can't find much on this error but it appears Oracle needs some permissions to launch an ASP.Net application that it does not have. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, don't hesitate to ask for additional details.

    The home folder could not be created because: The network name cannot be found.
    Note If you click Apply or OK again, no error message is returned. However, the setting is not saved.
    I think the important bit is
    The user account has sole access to a shared folder path that cannot be accessed by the administrator account.
    We manually create the shares on our NAS and then just want to enter the path in the profile tab, I suppose the question is how to we stop it trying to create the shares ?

  • GRC 10.0 SP14 - Poblems when generating rules for logical systems

    Hello Experts!
    We recently updated a DEV system to SP14 and we're having issues regarding the rule set generation. I'd like to know if you have faced a similar problem after installing SP14. The details are described below:
    Create a test function ZTEST_F1
    The action PFCG is associated to a Physical System (Test Connector SP14) and to a Logical System (Sistema Logico Retail)
    The logical system contains D05 among other connectors:
    And it’s defined as a logical group:
    The connector “test connector Sp14” points to the same system as D05.
    Now I create another function, let’s say ZTEST_F2
    Now let’s define a SoD Risk ZTSTSP14
    Generate rules and after that we check GRACSYSRULE table for such risk and we get:
    Let’s add more transactions:
    Generate rules:
    Now in the table we get:
    The logical system has been added to the GRACSYSRULE table for the new combination and also the physical system TST_D05, but there's no combinations for the system D05 for example.
    Now if we run SoD analysis:
    We have four combinations for the physical system TST_D05 but only two for D05 that belongs to the logical system:
    Do you have any clue? have you faced a similar problem?

    First of all I want to thank you because after aplying the note the rules generated fine and now the Risk Analysis is OK for the example described above:
    I've also tested with a huge number of risks and made a comparison between the results of the Physical conector and the Connector that belongs to a logical group and I got the same results as action level as well as Permission Level as expected.
    Regarding the note itself, we usually check for notes and we have implemented many notes in advance related to rule generation issues.
    The point is that, as my point of view is just not acceptable to get a new SP with this kind of issue. Rule generation is a core functionality and SAP must test such functionalities before releasing a SP and these checks cannot rely on the customer. For me, rule generation issues in GRC are just unnaceptable. I can accept issues with other modules or new functionalities, but with role generation they must guarantee that it works properly and perform the requiered tests before releasing an SP.
    Well... bottom line the issue has been resolved and I really appreciate the help you provided!!!!

  • Report Painter Drilldown on Cost Element for Project Systems

    I am currently working on a report for Project Systems. I am trying to copy the functionality of the Internal Order summary (60I2-001) into report group 6P3. I was able to copy the whole layout and also the values of 6oI2-001 into a copy of 6PP4-001 but when I double click on "Balance" it is bringin up the ALV report that 6PP4-001 is using. I would like to call another report which looks like 6LS0-001 but contains Project System info made in report painter when I double click on Balance. Is this possible? Please let me know how.

    See my replies below.
    1 a & B: You are planning Qty on NWA and capturing costs - labor & Equipment on NWA elements.
    When  you are having elaborated to NWA-Element level, split your total work on each NWA-element and post labor cost. Thus you will have planned Vs actual costs at one place.
    coming to equipment cost - are you capturing using PO through GR?.
    2.a : Option1- create a separate WBS elements for materials and plan cost at WBS level. That value would be your total planned cost of material procurement as estimated. Under this WBS elements create NWAs and assign the materials. With this set up you can assign material and procure so that will have actual costs coming from GR.
    Option 2: Create a one General Cost activity and assign the total planned cost of material on this NWA.
    When you assign the material components, diligently you have to reduce the equivalent amount from the general costs activity. Also note that on component screen, you have to check box "Cost relevant" so that material cost will add to Cost NWA. Let the different materials  have their own valuation class and have default CEs accordingly. that would not be big issue.
    Please discuss with your MM team to get more information. Also my suggestion is to leave blank CE field in configuration.
    The option2 is very cumbersome and high risk but one have to be very cautious to reduce the value from Cost NWA in order to sustain the planned material costs whenever they added.
    3. I have answered the relevance of Cost relevance check box in above.
