Bapi or FM to create,change and delete Contact persons for vendors

Dear Experts,
We are replicating the Contact persons details from SUS(SRM) to ECC, When a Contact person is create,changed or deleted the data should be replicated in ECC. We are doing custom development to do this, I need to know is there any function module or Bapi which I can use to create , change or delete the contacts persons for a vendor.
I tried using BAPI_ADDRESSCONTPART_CHANGE, BAPI_ADDRESSORG_SAVEREPLICA for changing but its doesn't covers few fields like time zone etc. For deletion I tried WY_KNVK_SINGLE_DEL_FROM_BUFFER its too not helping me .
Please let me know is there any bapi or fm to do these process or we can go for BDC.

Hi Santosh,
Can you please tell me what Business Scenario is asking you to consider the Time Zones .
If you know the Customer Number you can very well get the country and there are various FM's to get the time zone based on a country .
Now Call the FM (as wrote by you ) based on the TIme Zone condition,
Please enlighten me if i am incorrect.

FBE2: BAPI or FM for Changing and Deleting Payment Advice

Hi,
I am looking for BAPI or FM for changing & deleting payment advice as we can accomplish from FBE2.
This is EC 6.0 upgrade issue for not be able to post using CALL TRANSACTION in background mode.
I tried the below FM's in the Function group FARMATCH, but all have them have the follwing code to select payment advice Header Table [AVIK].

Disabling 'Change' and 'Delete' button in Attachment List in ME52N

The reuqirement is this:
A user attaches doucments ( using the Generic Object Services to attach document ) while creating/changing Purchase Requisition (ME51N / ME52N).
Now when any user goes to see the docuemnts attached to the PR, he selects the 'Attachement List' from the context menu, he should only be able to read it and should not be allowed to change or delete the document. For this we need to disable the 'change' and 'delete' buttons from the toolbar.

Probably you have uncommented the call to super class when you reimplement the method on child class (z class)
I just implement the same thing now and it worked for me. Take a look:
1 - Modify the SGOSATTR table by SM30, just write a Z class (in my case CL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_CREATE) .
2 - Create/inheridt a subclass (not a copy) in SE24 of the standard class.
3 - Implement the method CHECK_STATUS in the z class. Note that the call to method on super class came commented. You only uncomment if you want to also execute a standard code in the super class.
Here is my code:

I have solved the issue Alhamdulillah by the foll. method:
1. Copied CL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST to ZCL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST
2. In ZCL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST there is a method called: CHECK_STATUS. I overwrote with my check;
on_mode_changed( 'D' ). --- For display
on_mode_changed( 'E' ). --- For edit mode.
3. In SGOS tcode, added VIEW_ATTA to point to ZCL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST

I have a development that requires to create, edit, and delete vendor master records through a webportal ui. Technically, it will be a background process in SAP because it must not have a dialog screen. In my search so far, there is no standard BAPI or Function module that can handle this one.
Can the class VMD_EI_API handle the requirements?

Yes, You can use this class to create/modify/delete vendor master data. You can find in SCN documents with example how use it.

BAPI to create Contact person in Vendor master

We need to create Contact Person in Vendor master using BAPI.
We already used BDCs in CREMAS IDOC posting to create contact person. Since we dont get the address number back in IDOC posting, we need BAPI which can create the contact person and return the address number created for that contact person.

Hi,
this is not supported by CREMAS idoc types and there is no plan to get this in the future.
There is no BAPI and no direct function module to maintain a vendor.
The only solution that is coming will be in ECC 2005 EhP 4 or EhP5 and available from class VMD_EI_API with method Maintain.
If you need this functionality from the CREMAS idoctype, the only solution is to request a remote consulting project or an EoD project at SAP under component LO-MD-BP-VM.

I often have a recurrinig message to send, after a repeating event, and need to enter the same short message each time. It would be nice to have this short message stored and selectable so that I do not need to enter each time.

SDK-22824: sourceLastPlayed keeps track of what video file we?\226?\128?\153ve called play() with last. This way if a user pauses the video and wants to start it up again at the same point, we can call play(null) on the underlying FLVPlayback videoPlayer. However, anytime the souce changes, we want to null out sourceLastPlayed. This was causing a bug when someone set the source to null and then reset it to it?\226?\128?\153s previous value.
SDK-23034 (GUMBO_PRIORITY): This deals with some FLVPlayback quirks around sizing. I had put in a fix so we weren?\226?\128?\153t setting width/height on the underlying videoPlayer too many times, but apparently we need to make sure it always gets called once. Hopefully when switching to Strobe we can cleanup this logic...I put a FIXME in to do this.
SDK-21947/ SDK-22533 - some video files don?\226?\128?\153t always send out a metadata event. I?\226?\128?\153m not quite sure why this is, but in case this happens, we do a check in the ready handler to see whether we should call invalidateSize() to make sure it gets sized properly.

Creating DLL and identifying LVRTE for 32bit/64bit/WinXP/Win7

I have a labVIEW 2010 application (created on 32bitXP) to be distributed
for
-Windows XP 32 bit
-Windows XP 64 bit
-Windows 7 32 bit
-Windows 7 64 bit.
What kind of runtime engine will I need?
I also found that
- there is no runtime engine available for WinXP64 bit, what do I do for
this
OS?
- there are multiple runtime engines for LV2010 (min/std/64bit).
Can someone pls help me to dentify,
Which link to use for which OS/bit combination with LV 2010.
Also can someone help me to identify, if I need to build the application
(EXE
or DLL) in 4 different ways, for these 4 OS?

Yes, I must have 32 bit RTE for running 32 bit DLL.
And also I do want to have 32 bit DLL only (& not 64 bit one).
To explain, let me propose the following case.
I have a C# created (built in 32 bit mode for x86) parent EXE .
I have C# created (built in 32 bit mode for x86) child DLL.
The child DLL gets called successfully by parent EXE. In all 4 possible OS combinations. ie. 32bitWinXP,64bitWinXP,32bitWin64,64bitWin64.
But..
When I create a 32 bit DLL from 32 bit LabVIEW on XP32bit,
it never gives me success to be called by 32 bit C# parent in 64bitWinXP, 32bitWin7, 64bitWin7.
I am aware that I must not create 64bit DLL, becasue my C# EXE is built in 32 bit (& That's how it must be to be able to run in all 4 OS combinations).
