BAPI or FM to delete Connection Object Address

Hello folks,
My requirement is to delete Connection Object Address via BAPI or FM based on some combination. I could not find any FM which accomplishes this task. Please help.
After some research, I found that we can delete Business Partner's Address(Standard & Secondary) via BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_REMOVE but could not find any FM which perform the same task for Connection Object. Please let me know whether it is possible or not and if it is not then what is the reason behind.
Thanks
Manish Verma

Manish:
A connection object cannot exist without an address, and has only one, so deletion is not possible.  You can change the address of a CO, or you can mark them for deletion.

bill.

  • Updating Connection Object Address

    Hi all,
    Is there any  FM/BPAI to update Connection object address.
    with regards,
    Sumanth

    Hi all,
    I am facing an issue while using the FM: ISU_S_CONNOBJ_CHANGE to update a connection object address in the following manner:
    CALL FUNCTION 'ISU_S_CONNOBJ_CHANGE'
          EXPORTING
            x_haus         = wa_conobj_update-tplnr
            X_UPD_ONLINE   = co_flagged
            x_no_dialog    = co_flagged
            x_auto         = lwa_address
            X_OBJ          = lwa_object
          IMPORTING
            y_db_update    = lwa_update
    I am filling the values in the structures: lwa_address-addr_data & lwa_object-addr1_data_new. (Just filling 6 fields: CITY1, POST_CODE1, HOUSE_NUM1, HOUSE_NUM2, STREET & COUNTRY).
    I am also using COMMIT WORK (at sy-subrc = 0). Still this FM is not updating the values.

  • Creation of connection object address on BP level when saving contract

    Dears,
    Does anyone here know how to deactivate the creation of an extra address on BP level when you save your contract?
    Currently when I create a BP with 10 contracts on different Ibases in CRM, IS-U creates 10 addresses (of usage CON_OBJECT) for this BP. This change on the BP often fails in the replication due to problems with the address guids...
    Thanks in advance,

  • Need clarification  in usage of  premise and connection object

    Hi everyone,
       I  am working on a project and for that i have  do move in  for around 30 customers. i did up to move in . I assumed 5 customers from a single appartment and grouped  them. so i  used same connection object and premise for them. After move- in is done  i checked the Equipment numbers  generated for all the 5 in that group. The  address in equipment display(ie03) and also the customer display (XD03)  is overlapped  with the connection objects address. so it is showing same address for all 5 customers. After that i changed the premise but used the same conection object. But again the customer address is overlapped with the given connection object address. can anyone help me how to solve this if i have a scenario  like this :  5 customers from same appartment. how to create the connection obj and premise .
    Thanks,
    Archana

    Archana,
    Please have a look at the IS-U data model. The connection objects relates to the building and the premises to the appartments. The 5 customers/consumers/business partners live in their own premise. On premise level you may detail the address with such as "1st floor last door to the right".
    Devices (meters) are installed technically in a devlice location that can be is linked to premise and connection object. Finally the utility installation holds all billing relevant data while the contract is the link between the technical master data and the business master data. During a move-in the address list of a BP is completed by the address of the connection object (if customized).
    As you can see there are various factors affecting the address of a business partner and a installed device.
    Kind regards,
    Fritz

  • Bapi or function to delete a connection objet (IL02)

    Hi,
    I need a bapi or function to delete a connection object.
    In other words, I need to have my program work as if I set the deletion flag for a connection object from TCODE=IL02. It doesnt really delete the connobj but deactivates it somehow.
    Anybody have a clue what to use?

    Hello Berk,
    Did you find a bapi or function to delete a connection object?

  • Update  address details of connection object

    Hi,
    I need a FM/BAPI to update address details of connection object.
    I'm currently using ADDR_UPDATE and 'ADDR_MEMORY_SAVE'  I'm able to successfully update 9 address lines.
    But not the telephone and fax number.
    Hence I need a FM/BAPI to specifically update telephone and fax number of connection object.

  • Populate County for Supplier Address of the Connection Object

    Hi
    Is there any way that we can populate county (Region) field for supplier address of the connection object i.e premise address (ISU) in SAP system? This is not a mandatory field hence is not filled up by customers (Business Partners).
    County here I mean is eg:
    Country is UK:
    County is Essex then Region code is "ES" etc..
    Please provide your valuable suggestions
    Note: There are billions of customers for which region needs to be populated.

    My email internet accounts does not recognize that I have deleted an gmail account.  It wants to connect before it sends a message.  How do I change this?  I thought I changed all my settings to reflect my new mail address - but I must have missed one.

    That was a bit of a bonehead move.  Did you actually change the email address associated with the Apple ID before deleting the email account?

    That's another bad idea.

    Yeah, because the email associated with the Apple ID is deleted and the account is having issue.
    Stop using the new Apple ID.
    Log into the original Apple ID.  Change the email address associated with the Apple ID.
    It should then be possible to update the apps associated with the original Apple ID.

  • Error in FM DDIF_NAMETAB_GET when deleting BI objects via transport request

    Dear all,
    when importing a transport request in which several types of BI objects are deleted (Infocubes, DSO's, transformations, routines, DTP's, query elements, infosets, process chains). The import terminates only when transporting from acceptance to production with return code 12 due to an uncaught exception:
    Transporting from development to acceptance did not raise this exception.
    The ST22 dump (see below) refers in the "contents of system fields" section to a DSO, and to post-import activities. The DSO and the associated tables could not be found (rsa1 & se16), since they are deleted as desired.
    Some of the relevant notes that I have found do refer to DSO related problems, but they all indicate to install SP19 which we already have installed (BW 7.0 Patch Level 23)
    Could you please assist in pointing out potential solutions based on the information from the ST22 Runtime Error below?

    Hi All
    We are also experiencing this same error when transporting deletions of multiple objects.
    Although the transport was cancelled in the destination system (production) it appears to have largely deleted all objects successfully except for DSOs.
    The DSOs still appear in the table RSDODSO (via SE11) but are not visible anywhere else.  When you try to view the DSO via RSDODS a warning appears saying "DataStore object to be deleted by transport -> delete only allowed".  If you try to delete them in this transaction the same ABAP runtime error as the transport appears.
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

  • Duplicate check for Connection Objects in CRM

    Hi,
    I want to implement a duplicate check for connection objects in CRM. The duplicate check shall use the address of the connection object and perhaps additonal attributes. I have found a duplicate check for business partners using the basis address service and TREX as index pool. However, I couldn't find a similar functionality for connection objects. Does somebody know:
    1) How to implement a duplicate check for connection objects which is based on the address of the connection object?
    2) Is there a way to use the TREX-based duplicate check which is integrated into the basis address service for connection objects?
    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Frank

    I also have a requirement to check for duplicate address at connection object level and we are using SAP data servies to validate the address. Can anyone share their experience.

  • Threaded Queries from Single static Connection object - Good approach?

    Hi,
    I need to generate a report where I need to query count(1) from over one hundred tables from oracle 10g database. I am not updating or deleting any record.
    My approach is to use a single static connection object and create one thread for each table and capture the result back into a static hashtable.
    But still, I am not getting any substantial performance improvement. Earlier, my report took 40 minutes, when it was non-threaded and now it takes 30 minutes.
    Is there anything more I can do to make my report get the counts faster? Will a connection pool help?

Beneath the hood Oracle turns a count(1) into a count(*) in order to deal with this. Why? Because count(1) is turned into count(*) in order to avoid it being slower (Oracle 7 was the last time count(1) was different). And the reason generally given is because so many people were mistakenly using count(1) thinking it performed better that they decided to put in the "conversion" to fix the silly queries.
    I think this it the [Ask Tom|http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:109792721681931::::P11_QUESTION_ID:1156159920245] link I used last time this came up here.

  • Trying to close Statement from its Connection object

    Hi, I am having difficulty finding information regarding how to find and kill a Statement for a given Connection. Unfortunately I do not have direct access to the Statement as the Connection object has been handed off and used externally.
    What I am doing is playing around with a connection pool and the effort to replace it with another at this point is not feasible, so basically what I am attempting to do is forcefully release a Connection after a specified timeout period but am finding that the Statement that it is running still persists. Waht I need to know is how I would be able to track down the Statement and .close() it as there does not seem to be any obvious way using the Connection object alone. Any ideas?
    Any help or suggestion about how to address this issue would be appreciated.

    Wrap the connection before handing it off to external code. Your wrapper will be responsible for tracking statement instances.

  • Unassing a Premise froma Connection Object

    Hi ISU Experts!
    I juste wanted to ask you if it is possible to unassing a Premise from a Connection Object.
    A user created a new ConnObject/Premise/Installation, but when creating the Premise he assigned it to another Connection Object. Is it possible to reassing the premise? Or Unassign the Premise from the Actual Connection Object?
    Or the should create a new Premise/installation again?
    Thak you very much in advance,
    Best regards
    LUCAS

    Hi,
    There is no reversal process where you can reverse the assignment of a premise with connection object. You need to create a new set of these technical master data once more.
    You can set the 'Delete' flag available at connection object/premise/installation level. It will be archived from the system during archive run.
    Thanks.

    Is it possible to have different addresses for Premise and Connection Object? If yes, then what configuration is needed??

    for each connection we can maintain multiple premises.
    Premise address can maintain additional information as like (Additional street data enables you to manage additional information on the street name of the connection object. You can also store different street names. )
