P35 Noe2 with ALC888 soudchip, no recording

After some trial and error I managed to get playback from the soundchip, but there is no recording. When I install the output of an I-pod to the red line in on the MB and I go to Sound and Audio Devices in the control panel and run the hardware test under the voice tab there is playback!
In the Realtek mixer there are no sliders for the mic and line volume and in the Windows recording control these are not movable!
I tried everything, reinstalling drivers, last update, fresh Windows XP install, but no further ideas.
Anyone with a solution??

That is normal. You won't sliders on any mainboard with a Realtek Soundchip in conjunction with XP. Ask Realtek why that is the case. It has nothing to do with your board.
To adjust input levels for line-in and/or microphone jacks, scroll through the playback section of the Realtek Manager Mixer tab and find the corresponding icons.

I guess I need to mention that extract failed in 5 minuts before it with: VAM function VAMRead returned unexpected result: error 600 - VAM Client Report <[CFileInfo::Read] Timeout expired after 10 retries with 1000 ms delay, waiting to read transaction log or backup files. To increase the number of retries, use SETENV (GGS_CacheRetryCount = n) in Extract parameter file. I don't know if it has ther same source as data corruption, could you tell me if it is?
Well, I created new extract, starting 2012-06-01 15:30 to check if there was something with extract at the time, but got the same error.
If I run extract beging at 15:52 it starts and works.
But well, I got another one today. Data didn't look that bad, but yet one column came with null value:( And I'm using it as a key column, so I got Mapping problem with compressed key update record again:(
I'm replicating from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 11g.
I'm actually using NOCOMPRESSUPDATES in Extract.
CDC is enabled for all tables replicated. The only thing is that it is enabled not by ADD TRANDATA command, but by SQL Server sys.sp_cdc_enable_table, does it matter?
Could you please advise why does it happen?

Well, the problem begins somewhere in extract or before extract, may be in transaction log, I don't know:(

The SCRP_CODE column has a NOT NULL constraint. The ORA-01407 error is telling you that you cannot update or set a value for this column to null because of the constraint. This has absolutely nothing to do with an index. You can use a marker/sentinel value in lieu of using NULL. For a numeric field, where everything is positive, a negative value (-1) can be decoded as meaning null. For a character field, a code such as NA can represent NULL.
This also has nothing to do (directly) with GoldenGate failing because of this error. The underlying SQL statement will fail everywhere, regardless of the tool or application. It is not a case of failing only in GoldenGate.

Adobe programs dont work with Captivate to capture/record

Hi there.
I've had problems with Captivate capturing screen recording from Adobe Premier cs5, where it would not show any of the video which was being edited. I figured this was just the video issue and worked around it by just not showing the video preview for the small thing i was demonstrating, it wasnt a big deal if it was just isolated to this.
Next I was using Adobe Photoshop and setting up a little demo on how to fill objects. Captivate did not pick up the cursor, it shows a ugly black box.
I also want it to pick up the full motion of my mouse cursor in photoshop, but it doesnt come close, so as im narrating how to do something, my actual mouse is not showing at the same time as im saying it which is essential when you are trying to show a way to FILL a certain area of a shape.
I had plans to do many things with captivate, now it seems i am going to have to switch back and forth with Camtasia, convert to AVI the parts that Captivate does not handle, and then import them into Captivate to make my demonstrations look seemless???
I have a lot planned for Adove CS5 Flash, is this also going to give me the same problem?
I have already searched for a solution tot his, and everyone has said that captivate does not capture things where there is overlayed content etc etc...
This strikes me slightly insane when Camtasia does it so well, and Im using an Adobe program to provide training on Adobe programs...
If anyone knows any delevopers for captivate on here, can they PLEASE look at this right now as im slapping myself wondering why this is the case and how im going to plan to do all the simulations half with camtasia and half with captivate on Adobe products we use at my work.....

Just out of curiosity, are you able to modify the mouse cursor AFTER doing the captures once you're back in Captivate editing them?
For example, are you able to select the mouse for the slides where it added this wierd square cursor, then choose the normal arrow cursor from the Properties tabl > Options accordion?
Or are you able to delete the mouse from these same slides, and add it back again, and then select the cursor you want?
Have you found that there is nothing you can do to change this particular cursor on these slides?

In ME21N directly input info record number in line item coloumn in item overview area.
My info recored is combination of material,plant,vendor as well as purchase organization.
But while creating PO as per above process system shows error meeage for enter purchase organization ? Why ?
it is already their in info record number for which I want to create PO

Hi,
System picks the information like conditions,scales ,vendor material number,and tolerances from inforecord but will not refer organisation data.If you give vendor ,Organisation detail and material system will pick other information from info record.

How to cause a form to reload with a newly created record?

I hope this is easy and I'm just missing it.
I have a form based on a table (a "parent" table.). The parent table uses a trigger to generate the PK.
When a new parent record is created with the form, I want the page to reload with the newly created record still in the form. Then some conditional regions based upon child-tables would appear, with options to populate the detail records.
My problem is simple: how can I access the value of the primary key of the newly created record once it is submitted to the database, so I can use it to reload that record into the form?

(HR-ABAP) Collision with full day HR Record

Hi,
Each employee has a planned work shcedule where employee timings are predefined.
When an employee is absent for the day But comes to work after the scheduled absent period for overtime work, In r/3 system such type of entries are allowed where as when posting the time entry to HR it throws the error "collision with full day HR Record".
How should avoid such type errors.I need to record the overtime employee worked in addition to his absence record.

Exporting BI Publisher 11g ouput to Excel 2007 with over 65,000 records

Hi All,
I have seen information that BI Publisher 11.1.1.5 allows sending BI Publisher reports directly into native Excel 2007. Will this automatically allow reports with over 65,000 records to be saved in a single Excel 2007 sheet? If so, is it possible to do this in BI Publisher 11.1.1.3 which I am currently using or must I upgrade to 11.1.1.5 to get this functionality?
Will BI Publisher 11.1.1.5 also work with Excel 2010 to be able to load reports with over 65,000 records into a single Excel 2010 sheet?

well, i did some research, and indeed, to be able to output as .xlsx you would need an update to 11.1.1.4, as it is the first one which supports Excell 2007/10.

Validating the field write some UDF.
If valid then map & if not valid you can raise some exception in Mapping
in case PI 7.1 this feature is provided using the XML Validation which compares with the XSD.
You need to create the FCC structure that will generate the XML before sending to XI. You create the Mapping and define the UDF which will do the validation and call the SAP using Lookup (search the sdn for RFC Lookup or DB Lookup ).

partitioning is possible with data(1 lakh records) or with out data...if with data, its compulsory to stop database..and its not possible to stop, but i want to partitioning my table for increase the performance...what can i do please help me.

"lahk" is not an internationally recognised term. Please use terminology that is recognised internationally.
You could create a table with partitioning, copy your data into it, then drop the original table and rename the new one to the old name (bear in mind any indexes on it), though this isn't ideal if you have primary/foreign keys etc.
Also, ensure you are licenced to use Partitioning. It is installed as part of the database as standard, but you have to have additional licence to actually use it in production.

How to receive a part of cursor together with total count of records

Hello for all!
I have table with 5 millions of records. This table has varchar2 field.
I need look into this table by this field with using LIKE '%something%'. I.e. I need search by free substring in varchar2 field.
Because my table has serious record count then this query runs during 5-20 seconds and can return serious amount of records (for example 300.000 records).
I don't want to receive 300.000 records in the user program which runs on user desktop computer. I want receive records by page. I.e. by chunks with 100-200 records.
I can use following query:
select * from
(select rownum rn, t1.* from table1 t1 where field1 like '%something%' order by field2)
where rn between 100 and 200
This query can return only needed records from total cursor.
But in this case I don't know total records quanity. But I should show to user total quantity of pages!
I can run query twice. I.e. first time I can run "select count(*) ", next time I can "select * ". But it means that Oracle should process two queries instead of one. This is not good desigion.
Please suggest me something useful for solving this problem.

Go to transaction DB02, then click on the button that reads, "Space Statistics", the dialog box, click ok, leave the "*" for all tables, In the next screen put your cursor in the appropriate column labeled as Rows and click the sort button. Now you will see your biggest tables at the top of the list.

Help with Audio Playback While Recording

I am an aspiring sound engineer and I am having a problem with recording in Audition 3.0 that I need help with. When i record vocals, the sound wave plays back in the speakers/headphones with like a 1.5 second delay after it is recorded. It really throws off the artists I am working with when they are trying to record vocals. How do i kill headphone/speaker playback while someone is recording?

There are problems with a lot of internal soundcards in a lot of laptops, and these seem to be so many and various that all you can do is use trial and error and hope for the best.
External soundcards should cure any problem, but you may have to look into what else is running on the laptop, as so much is integrated, and some machines seem to have audio problems caused by wireless or other network adaptors etc.
As I said, I use oldish Edirol and Tascam usb units. The Tascam has a known fault (noise when using a guitar channel at the same time as phantom powering a mic on the other channel) which I can live with, and I would hope has been solved in later and current versions. The Edirol is fine. I use 2 units to give me the connections I want (ie one has jacks, the other phono plugs, and different size headphone sockets). Both these have asio and wdm drivers and work fine with AA 3.0 here. More modern devices will be usb2 and will presumably provide more channels or higher sampling rates, but these are fine. Others will be more up to date than me, but I would think anything from Tascam, Edirol, Echo Audio and I think most m-audio models should be fine. Just be wary of anything from Creative Labs. I, too, have had bad experiences with one of their products (it drew too much current from the usb port on a couple of the laptops so I never got as far as to find whether it had asio drivers working or not). But others will be more up to date than I am.
I just went onto ebay over the years and kept bidding on sensible looking devices until I got ones at the right price, but it probably is better to buy new if you can afford it.
