Basic CFC not binding to s:DataGrid
Installed "FB Burrito". OK.
Following this tutorial. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/fcf_getting_started_coldfusion_flex.html (but with default hero 4.5 sdk)
CFC introspects fine defined return datatype. OK.
Drag a DataGrid to design-view and give it an id. OK.
Drag CFC-function from Data/Services panel to DataGrid (spark name-space). ERROR!
"Service operations cannot be bound to this type of component. Please try again with a component that supports Bind to Data such as a text component, List or mx:DataGrid."
Is it not possible to bind data to a DataGrid (spark namespace is default) in the new Burrito? If I change to mx name space then it works, but I have my heart set on using the default spark name space of the DataGrid even though it suggests that s:DataGrid is not meant to have bound data (which is its purpose).
Please offer me suggestions.

AT user command in interactive list(basic) is not calling smartform

I am facing a problem, which will be strange for all i think.
in a basic list (not ALV) simple interactive report i am using
a at user-command. my concern is to collect the checked
box in the first output report display and store it into the
internal table and call a smart form when user
enter 'SHOW' command.

this shouldnt be happening..ne ways.u may try this..
put the smartform calling code in a report porgram and then use submit program and return command.
write this part of code in the report program....you will get all ur variables from stack....

Using table component,not binding
Hi all,
I've been searching info about using the table component
, adding,deleting,etc programatically, not binding to a Database how the JSC tutorial works.
The idea is simply:
- add and remove rows when the user fills a textbox and push a button to add the item.....
Anyone have an example or a link with examples??
thanks in advance!What I do is create a list with, say, two Person objects then use ObjectListDataProvider's setList(List) method to associate the list with the data provider's list property.
I create the data provider in a session bean. In the bean's init method I call remove the dummy list items.
Before you can bind this data provider's list to any components you have to build the project, then close and reopen the project. Otherwise, JSC won't detect the presence of the data provider.
Here's an example from my program. Note that any package or import beginning with com.cfi.office refers to custom code.

As far as I understand you are making reference to the Price determination control field MLAST.
The change of price determination control using TA CKMM should be done shortly before
running the MM period shift (Transaction MMPV) at month end. This procedure will ensure,
that status 'newly created' remains in the prior period unchanged. Please check the note 703604
which provides a detailed explanation about how to execute transaction CKMM to change
price determination from '2' to '3'.
In addition, please read the note 384553 carefully as it explains what happens if
CKMM is executed.

My application.cfc not compiling. I'm using application.cfc
first time, i'm used to using application.cfm, but now trying to
switch.
I've attached the code. Application.cfc is not being executed

OK, thanks clarifying that.
Application.cfc will only be listed in the debugging if
there's an event
handler to be run; if you don't have an onRequestStart
handler, it won't be
running anything _every request_.
I suspect you - and jbird5k - have both added code to your
onApplicationStart event handler after the application had
already started.
The onApplicationStart event handler is only run ONCE during
the life of
the application (IE: when it's first hit after the CF service
starts).
For changes to onApplicationStart to be run, you need to
restart your
application.
I think it was BKBK who suggested that the quickest way to do
this is to
change the name of the application - temporarily - so that CF
thinks it's a
different application. Or just restarting CF.
It might be an idea to add an onRequestStart event handler
which checks for
a restartApp URL variable, and if found and if true, re-run
onApplicationStart(). This means less monkeying with your
code or CF to
get the app to restart.

Why are clipping adjustments in the basic panel not being saved, updated or shown in the histogram? I am using LR 5.7 on a MAC OSX 10.8 etc.
Here is more information and hopefully a better explanation. My version of
LR-5.7 (OS X 10.8.5) apparently does not save the .NEF (Nikon RAW) edits
done in the basic module. That means that I can correct exposure,
highlights, shadows etc. but once I go to another picture and returned to
the edited one the histogram (on the edited photo) and specifically the
clipping triangles are white or some other color. This is normally suppose
to indicate that some channel or all channels are clipped in the
highlight/shadow areas. If I adjust any slider in the Basic panel even as
little as one +/- value or press the J-key, the histogram will now show the
original edit. Moving on to another photo and then returning to to
previously edited one and again the edits are "not saved" and I have to hit
the J-key or adjust a slider to see the previously edited information
reflected in the histogram.
This is especially frustrating for fours reasons. If I have edited a shoot
and return to it I cannot see from the clipping information whether the
original edit was correct and of course I might re-edit it (to some now
incorrect value). This brings up the second issue synchronization. I can't
rely on it because if I go back to fine tune a specific image in the batch
the triangles are white or some other color for that and every image. I have
to hit the J-key to show/hide clipping or the back slash key to see
before/after previews. This is the third issue which is very time consuming
and inefficient regarding my workflow. The forth issue is that I have
noticed that normally when an image is saved in PS, LR adds a copy of the
saved version to its catalogue. I have noticed that the PS to LR saves are
all wrong in terms of exposure (they are much lighter in tone) than the
original LR edit and the PS edit on my screen. If I check the PS to LR photo
in LR I notice that the Basic panel values have been changed and that I have
to sync the image with the originally edited RAW/NEF LR file to get it to
look the same.
Note 1). I am using an Apple cinema display and a calibrated Eizo ColorEdge
monitor to view my NEF files. I have reverted back to using LR 4 however I
am not sure if I should expect compatibility problems with Camera Raw 7.4 in
LR 4 vs. Camera Raw 8.6 in LR 5.
Note 2.) I am going to do an import converting everything to .dng to see if
this is a work around.
Note 3). I would be interested in knowing if this issue is related to the PS
RAW engine ver. 8.6, the Adobe created NEF calibrations or LR 5.
Note 4). I have duplicated this issue in OS X 10.8.5, OS X 9.xx and OS X
10.10.1
Hopefully someone else has noticed this problem. Any shared information

I am running 10.5.1 on several systems and can not bind them to our LDAP directory. (no SSL) It worked fine in Tiger but no matter how I configure it in Leopard it will not work. Things I have done/noticed:
1. Directory Utility reports that "The server is responding normally."
2. Directory Utility - Services - I have the LDAP mappings set as "Custom" and configured identical to settings in Tiger
3. Directory Utility - Search Policy - shows the custom path properly
4. In Tiger I would test the set-up in Terminal by typing id xxxx which would return UID, GID, and Groups
I have rebuilt the system from scratch and tried rebinding twice with no luck.
Any ideas, questions, pointers, are greatly appreciated.

If so, try to only active the Ethernet interface.

Postfix does not bind to en0 anymore
Hi all,
I have a Leopard server that runs mail services. All of the sudden postfix does not bind to en0 anymore. Normally postfix will bind to any IP address showing something similar to this in netstat:
tcp4 0 0 *.25 . LISTEN
On my server I only hace postfi listening on localhost like this:
tcp4 0 0 127.0.0.1.10025 . LISTEN
This is although postfix has determined on which IP addresses it should be listening:

There has been a trailling "inetinterface"/"mynetworks" combo just at the end of the main.cfg that caused this problem.
I wonder if Server Admin has put them there…

In SRM 7 I'm working on an ABAP web dynpro (/SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_CT) which is intended to show a document's header custom table. In the unique view of this web dynpro, the user can see the table (made up by custom fields) and can add or remove a line.
I created dinamically a pair of OVS search help for some of the fields of the table, in this way (method WDDOMODIFYVIEW):

and these Object-value selectors seem to work properly: the user can trigger them and the selection populates correctly the related field, in the selected row, of the table.
So we could say that apparently, everything seems ok. BUT...
...if I then SAVE the document, or simply change to another view and come back, the new entries added via search help disappear.
It's like there's something missing (a binding?) on the "lower" level...But I don't understand what's the point.
Otherwise, if a value is entered directly by hand by the user, the new row remains persistently (that is to say, direct fill by the user populated correctly the table view AND related fields in the buffer table). Is there something I'm missing?

I found the clue, but basically I have no idea on why it happens
This is the point: when I select a possible value from a select list in the OVS help, then the corresponding value(s) on the tables are filled BUT no CHANGE BADI is in this case triggered. Odd thing is that even if I select the field populated by the search help and press ENTER, the BADI isn't triggered.
Standard behaviour, which happens anytime I enter a value "manually", triggers the CHANGE BADI automatically (I can see in debug that the stack of the calls contains a fire_event_update, that's probably the clue).
So I guess the point is how to make a selection from a select list in OVS be equivalent to a value enter manually, so that we could generally say that anytime an input is filled - no matter if by OVS or "by hand" - the underlying CHANGE BADI is triggered.
Any help or suggestion is really appreciated,

Tab not working properly for Datagrid ItemEditor ComboBox
When you run the app type a1 in the find an App combo box then hit the tab key.
Click in the 3rd row in the As Bs column and a combobox will show.
Type a3 and then hit enter. Notice that A3 is saved as the selected item and saved to the dataprovider
Hit the backspace key and hit enter. Notice that the null is saved and nothing is selected.
Type a3 again and hit enter.
Hit the backspce again but this time hit the tab key. Notice the previous value is back. ooops.

{Code}the reason the tab was not working is because it was not changing the selection and just exiting the combo box. So, in the value function add if (cb.textInput.text == "") cb.selectedIndex = -1; This will change the selection as desired and fixes the problem.

Path to CFC Not Working on new domain
Hello,
I have some .cfc's that reside in the same directory as the .cfm file calling them. Everything works as expected, but now we are changing the structure of our web site and cfc paths are not working. I have spent hours trying to figure this out and still no solution.
The current (working) path to the cfc is:
wwwroot/data/historical/stateplane/select.cfc
with the domain looking like this:
http://surveyor.website.org/data/historical/stateplane/select.cfc
We are changing our the structure to, (which throws an error when looking for the cfc):
wwwroot/surveyor/data/historical/stateplane/select.cfc
with the domain changing to:
http://website.org/surveyor/data/historical/stateplane/select.cfc
The sel_stateplane.cfm page has the following code calling the cfc, which lives in the same directory:
