Basic voltage measurement, with Meter, Relay, and Load. How do I make it work?

I have LV2010, and I am controlling a Meter, Relay, and Load.
Here is what I need. Please give me any crazy idea that you can think of to explain why this will work all day and then after shift change it hangs, and locks repeatedly.
I have looked at our LAN, and Server usage. The second shift operator likes to wear nitrile gloves so we asked that he take them off and that seamed to help but didn't solve it. I have stood and watched both operators and their methods seam to be the same. I can operate the test for a dozen cycles and it is perfect, then he takes over and it locks on the second cycle.
The program is very simple with a loop that calls the subvi for the equipment and then records the data for a service to push to the server.
So after you laugh at what a poor post this is, please give me any off the wall idea you have because it isn't making any sense to me.

Something is wrong with that block diagram (looking at OCV-CCV.vi). I ran the block diagram cleanup on it, and it stretches out a lot of structures very wide even when they hardly have any code in them.
It would be good if someone from NI can look at that VI and see if they get the same results and figure out why the cleanup tool is failing on this one.
Ben P, you are missing alot of subVI's and typedefs. You may want to create a source distribution and upload a zip file of that so we can see all the files.
Look at the event structure in your Wait Case. You have a Run:Value change event and Change Info:Value change event. Both of those have their event properties set to lock front panel until event completes, but yet the event may not complete right away since the event structure is inside your state machine in a case that may not be up for execution right away.

Check firewall and any security software installed on your system. Toggle off/on home sharing on your computer.

Verizon and Extreme - how do I make it work

I have a Westell modem router from Verizon. I bought the Extreme and connected it to the Westell. All of my equipment recognizes the Extreme Network but I can't get on the internet with the Extreme. Can someone please give me some guidance as to how to make it work?

Welcome to the discussions, Pat!
You have two routers in series there, so the second, your AirPort Extreme must be configured in bridge mode to work correctly on the network.
First make sure that you have an ethernet cable from one of the LAN <-> ports on the Westell device connected to the WAN (circle icon) port on the AirPort Extreme.
Open AirPort Utility - click Manual Setup
Click the Internet icon
Connect Using = Ethernet (you setting should already look like this)
Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode)
Update to save settings and the AirPort Extreme will restart and you should have a green light in 20-25 seconds.

How can I create a buffer, array or pipeline that stores the last 5000 dates of a voltage measurement with PCI6036 & SCXI1104C and continously drops the last date and inserts the latest date (scanrate 200 or 2000Hz)?

I develope a porgramm for continious monitoring. If the voltage of a channel exceeds or is lower than the upper or lower limit of tolerance the actual date must be stored and additionally the dates being stored 10sec before and after this event. Can somebody give some advice how to create the buffer to keep the dates 10s before the error event? Thank U.

I've written you a quick array buffer vi. I'm not sure if it'll be fast enough though.. Try it and see! I've used the loop numbers in my array, but i'm sure you can feed in the dates instead.

My iphone 4 shut down yesterday and said I needed to a restore, when I try to do this it comes up with an 6011 error code, how can i make it work?

Safari and VLC -- how do I make them work together?

I installed VLC on my Mac Pro and I want to use VLC to play streaming content. I think the link I'm clicking on is Adobe Flash content that then opens another program to play the MMS stream.
Quicktime Player can't handle the stream and when I click on the link now the computer starts Parallels and tries to launch Windows Media Player from a virtual machine, which also can't handle the stream. I know that the VLC client can handle the stream because it works great on my Macbook Pro.
I don't know how to change the necessary file/stream associations so that Safari/Adobe launch VLC to play the stream instead of either Quicktime or Windows Media Player. Also, because it is a stream launched from flash content I can't just open it in the Finder and change the application association.
I found a workaround by creating a new .ASF file and then opening that with Finder to "change all" and associate ASF with the VLC client, but there must be an easier way.
What is the easiest way to do this?

Wild Blue and iChat - how do you make 'em work?

My mom has an iMac and has to use Wild Blue as her provider. I have an iMac and use Roadrunner. The error message says video chat won't work due to bandwidth. Wild Blue is no help, of course. Any suggestions - besides the obvious getting more bandwidth? I'm concerned that even buying more bandwidth may not work...

Welcome to the  Discussions
Distinct lack of info about what Internet Speeds you have at Both ends (interpreted by iChat as Bandwidth as it will presume other apps and computers may be using the internet).
Have you changed System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming to read 1.5Mbps and restarted iChat.
(Change the setting and restart iChat on Both computers)
For your Road Runner end also go to iChat Menu > Preferences > Video section > Bandwidth Limit drop down and set the speed to 500kbps
This is because Road Runner practice Data Stream Management to try and stop Peer-to-Peer File Sharing apps.
iChat in Video can send lots of data and it is a Peer-to-Peer connection with your Buddy.
Limiting your end can help "Get under the Radar" as it were.

ITS and SSL- how do I make this work?

We have several systems running ITS 6.20 on Windows 2003 Servers. The systems also use Requisition web site pages for SRM, IPC, and Siteminder. When someone logs in with our normal URL, Siteminder itself runs them through a secure link and into the application. However when someone types in http://servername/scripts/wgate/bbpstart/! they go to the SRM login page. This was fine until recently when security told us we needed to change that so that the bbpstart link was ssl protected.
I tried to do the standard setup of ssl. When I did so and then tried accessing the page using http: I got the message about using https (which I expected) but when i tried to switch to https, it gave a "server is busy" error, and I could not longer access the system via Siteminder. Is there something different I need to set to get ssl working on this system? Thanks!

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning restoration issues:

You might need to use recovery mode if:
You can't update or restore because iTunes doesn't recognize your device or says it's "in recovery mode".
The Apple logo remains onscreen for several minutes with no progress bar.
The Connect to iTunes screen appears.
See what to do if the progress bar remains onscreen for several minutes
Use recovery mode
Recovery mode erases your device and restores it, which should resolve the issue. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you may be able to restore from your backup after recovery.
Turn off your device. If you can't turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time and wait a few seconds for it to turn off.
Plug the device's USB cable into your computer only.
Hold down the device's Home button as you connect the USB cable to it.
When you see the Connect to iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 one more time.
iTunes should open and display a message such as: "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."
Use iTunes to restore your device.
If you don't see your device in iTunes, follow these steps for Mac or these for Windows.
Additional Information
If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself.

You need to restore the iOS using iTunes. Place the device into Recovery Mode and Restore the device

I agree entirely, been messing with this since the upgrade to Mavericks but I didn't find it quite as easy as uninstalling the WD smartware as it still operates when you plug the drive back in - I think it gets loaded onto the drive and runs from within (?). The advice from WD was that time machine was faulty and I should contact Apple...thanks guys!
Anyway, for the OP's benefit, this is what I found:
1. My problem was that time machine couldn't see any further back than before the Mavericks install, but if I opened up and interrogated the WD drive, the old backups were still there.
2. When TM started doing new backups, it overwrote the ones that it could see, not the oldest ones on the drive. This indicated to
me that the WD software had somehow partitioned off the old backups and excluded that part of the drive from being overwritten. Of course, as the drive was practically full, it meant that any new backups wouldn't fit in the available space.....
3. The only way I could find to resolve this was to use the disc utility to erase and repartition the external drive. This will obviously remove all of the old files and backups, but I was more concerned about keeping a current profile as backup rather than a load of stuff from months ago.
4. Anyway, what happens after the eraseure has completed is that you get the WD icon on the desktop, and you're invited to install the software - this means the software has now been deleted. Juts don't reinstall it, just let TM do it's backup and all is well.
Usual disclaimers and warnings about keeping another copy of your system etc. obviously apply, and I know this is a radical move to delete all your old data but it worked for me. I guess I didn't appreciate that you could use the external drive without the software that came with it and just followed the screen guide.
I'm also aware that if you don't want to use TM to do a complete restore and only want to find one old version of a document, this is difficult. However, you can then install the WD software and find the file but you'll then have to do this all again.....
