BB App World Plug In Error

Hi BB
When I log into BB App World I';ve been getting this ewrror message:
"App World Web Plugin Error
An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Client. If you have content protection enabled on your device, please disable and try again."
Also there is soem problem with the BB App World Server, sometime my device is detected and I can download apps but when I click on 'My World', the page says that my device is not connected!
Please sort this out ASAP!

Hello !
There is an alternate if you facing problem to directly download it from Appworld to your device.
Connect your BlackBerry Smartphone through USB cable to Internet enabled Laptop/Desktop.
Now open the following link:
http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/
In this on top right sign in with your existing BlackBerry ID.
Now you can dowload all as per the way you do it in your device.
Hope this resolves your Problem!
If your problem has been resolved then would request you to Click on "Like" and accept as "Solution" so that other Advisors doesnt invest there time on this Message anymore.

    Please help me with this problem. I have a new Blackberry Storm 2. When I sign in, it asked me to get the BB appworld browser plug-in and connect my smartphone. So, i did connect it. Then, this message kept on popping out. I don't know how to fix it.

    Okay. this is what I do.
    I go onto http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/ & sign in. I then connect my phone & enter the device password. As soon as I do that, this comes up -> App World Web Plugin Error
    An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Client.
    I don't know what's the problem & I've been searching for a solution but to no avail.

    Are you using your computer to upgrade these applications or are you using the Application on your BlackBerry? 
    If you are using your computer, are you using Internet Explorer? Did you install the plug in required? Have you tried restarting your BlackBerry by doing a battery pull?
    If you are using the App World icon on your device, are you using Wi-Fi or the mobile network?

  • Unable to start App World due to error 2

    When I attempt to log in to Blackberry App World on my Playbook, or when I attempt to load an app update, I receive the message "Unable to start App world due to error 2".  A search of the knowledge base and forums does not seem to address this issue.  Any suggestions?

    On your device turn off your Encryption ,Go to Options > Security > there on encryption Disable it and also disable Firewall, Then have a try.

  • App world: incorrect currency + error 7400

    Hi,
    Firstly, I have searched the web and forums and tried all solutions before posting this.
    I have two issues, both of which affect both my PlayBook and my 9900.
    1. The currency of purchases in App World has switched from GBP to USD. I have tried going to purchase an app, and re-adding my PayPal account as has been suggested in numerous other threads. This did not resolve the issue. This same problem occurs both on my PlayBook and 9900.
    2. The majority of paid for apps generate the following error when I attempt to buy them: "There is a system error. Please try again later. (Error id: 7400). I have re-verified my PayPal account which did not fix this. I also tried using a credit card instead of PayPal as the payment method; the same error is still displayed.
    I have also tried:
    - Re-installing App World
    - Security wipe
    - Re-install of PlayBook OS
    If anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate your assistance. Searching the web and forums did not yield any information which would solve this.

  • App world always gives error after 1 complete sync

    earlier i have used the app world plugin and all was well. 
    now since last week im facing this problem: (phone is storm 9530, and i have upgraded the OS to 5.0 just last week)
    whn compluter starts, and i start google chrome, then goto appworld website, then download (SYNC) any app, all goes succesfully.
    then whn i try the 2nd download (sync) .. the error comes 
    "SYNC ISSUE: There is an issue connecting to BlackBerry World. Please try again"
    i have checked in hte cellphone, the first app is working perfect.
    later if i try syn agian and again at appworld website, the first SYNC is even impossible and has same error.
     If i resrtart the computer, then all goes well , juz like i stated earlier, but only for 1st sync.
    plz provide a solution

    furthermore ... if i try restarting the google chrome, or even through the internet explorer ... cannot even open the appworld website... it juz goes blank with both the chrome and IE.
    however other website work fine

    Hey, I recently had my phone 'repaired' but they just gave me a new phone. I cannot get on the app world anymore. I went to 'The Geek Squad' In the Carphone Warehouse but they weren't very helpful and just said to go on a website (They didn't know which) and do some things that I can't remember. They said I have to convert my sim to something but I don't what either. Please help! ♥

    If the instructions in the knowledgebase did not help at all and your timezone and time are correct. I would try removing the battery while the device is ON.
    If that still does not work and your stuck with the AppWorld error you can go into your Advanced Options. Click Host Routing Table. Press the menu key and click Register Now.
    If after all this you are still stuck you can try performing a full backup / restore through BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

  • Bb app world service plan error

    Ok so i have just got a new bold 9900 and i cant use any apps or app world, bbm works fine and internet and email, i have re installed app world and have all latest os please can anyone help

    I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
    KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
    2) Delete and Resend Service Books
    KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
    KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    3) Batt Pull Reboot
    Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
    Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then can you expand on what exactly happens when you try? "cant use any apps or app world" doesn't really give us much to go on...
    Also, what version of AW do you have installed? 3.1.2.32 is current.
    Also, did you initially log into your BB ID when you were originally configuring your BB?

    If you're using a Chrome or Firefox, I suggest you use Internet explorer for the meantime, once the plugin has been intalled on the browser, since Chrome and Internet explorer almost share the same settings, it should work well with Chrome after it.

  • Blackberry App World Log In Error

    My blackberry curve has suddenly stopped allowing me to log in. I use the correct email address and password but "An error has occured. Please try later" keeps popping up and I've been trying for 3 weeks and it still won't let me log in. It all started when I installed an update for blackberry messenger.

    From a PC, you can install any OS package to a BB via this procedure:

    Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC. You can even use a different carriers OS package by simply inserting, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, of a file named VENDOR.XML. Be sure that you remove, from your PC, any other BB device OS packages as having more than one installed to the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.
    If you are on MAC, you are limited to only your carriers sanctioned OS packages...but can still use any levels that they currently sanction. See this procedure:

    There are more severe things to try (e.g., using BBSAK or JL_CMDR to wipe the EPROM and then reload), but you might want to take the attempts in stages. It concerns me that you were able to reinstall yet they remain shown as installed yet not visible.Are you sure the icons aren't hidden? (Activate Show All to check) And be sure to dig deeply into each and every folder (including any folders you may have hidden).

  • App world is showing this error "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFound Error"

    Few days back I received some App world updates through wireless network. After installing those updates and restarting mobile when I clicked on App world icon following error is being displayed "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFound Error". In fact I can't enter into appworld.
