BBP_ATTR_F1 cost center SRM

Guys i am trying to find the tables which ha sthe cost center data in it. i need to extract that in BW to create a report  on what users are authorize on what cost centers.. i have search T77OMATTR and dd04l which points back to the structure.
is there any other way to extract data from this structure in to BW?

The cost center are in ECC system, you can see the cost center through of a RFC... But if you want make a filter of cost center for User you have that mantain the attribute "ACC_FCENTR".
Function for obtain attributtes of user: BBP_GET_USER_ATTR and enter "ACC_FCENTR"; the system show the cost center that are defined for the user.
In BW i´m not sure...

    Hi,
    We are working on SRM 4.0. when the user is trying to create a shopping cart from catalog he gets the error message as
    "you don't have the acces to the cost object xyz12.please return to the cost assignment section and correct".
    We have given the access to that cost center in SRM even also he is getting the same error. 
    He does not have any problem with single line item against the same cost center. problem gets only when he is going to create with multiple line items in shopping cart against the same cost center.
    Request you to please advise me where i need to check to overcome the issue.

  • HR - SRM Replication: Issue with company code and cost center

    Hello Experts,
    We have a scenario where we are trying to replicate the HR Org Structure into the SRM system.
    All the standard settings have been made using relevant SAP Notes and other help available on SRM.
    However, the company code and cost center for a particular position are not getting updated into SRM.
    These details are present in the Inbound Idoc from the ECC system.
    Is there any setting we may have missed out on?
    Please help.

    Kindly check your ALE Filter in BD64 in the sending system. You need to maintain the objects C K O S and infotype 1001 and related subtypes in the filter model.
    Also check the Evaluation path that you are using to send data.

  • Blocking Cost Center in SRM

    Hi eveyone,
    We are working in SRM 4.0, classic scenario. I need to block certain cost centers during shopping. I have delimited those cost centers in PPOSA_BBP. Hence, now they are not valid in the org structure any more. But, while shopping the cost center is still visible & available.
    Can anyone please tell me how can I block the cost centers, so that they are no available for shopping in SRM.
    Also, I tried deleting the object assignment also, but that did not help either.
    Also, kindly note that I cannot block those cost centers in R3, since we require them, incase if there is a need, then the PR can be raised from R3.

    Hi Joshi,
    Go to T-code OOCU_RESP and you need to select the rule number...it might be customized. So chose that..for Example for Cost centre manager it might be 4000001.
    Select the rule number and press enter, Here you will find the list of cost centre manager for your SRM system.
    click on Overview and press Ctrl +F and type the use id of the user(manager). If he is maintained as as Cost centre manager.
    Once you found an entry click on that which takes you to next screen where you will be able to see the list of cost centres he is responsible.
    If you remove any cost centre from there So from next time if any user selects that particular CC since there is no CC approvers, enduser will not be able to see the approver.
    This way you can remove the cost centre from a particular user.
    Please let me know if you are still facing any issues.

  • While checking any options in  account assinment SRM the cost center disapp

    Dear experts,
                Kindly help me in my issue. TIn the SRM portal ( SC ), while ordering for free text uner cost assignment  - there is a section called account assignment overview - there is a drop down list which indicates whether it's a taxable or tax exemt ect and for everu assignment there will be a cost center assigned.
    the issue I'm facing is the cost center is assigned once the free text catalog is created  but if any other option in the list for the assignment is changed the cost center disappears. So How can assign the correct cost center every time even if change the assignment option.
    This request was made to cut down the work of the user to select the cost center from the list in the back end.

  • Preventing Blocked Cost Center in SRM Search help

    Hi All ,
      We need to prevent the blocked cost centers  in  the search help  in SRM  .
    I checked the BADI'S
                  BBPF4_READ_ON_ENTRY_
                  BBPF4_READ_ON_EXIT_    and method GET_COSTCENT. but  both of these will not trigger when we give the cost center in search help and press start.
    so is there any other BADI  or Customer exit  for this requriment.

    These BADI can not be used for this kind of search help, as this is an R/3 search help and not an SRM search help.

  • F4 help for Cost Center in SRM 7.0

    Hi,
      My requirement is to display customized F4 help for the Cost Center(i.e. user specific search help maintained in Z table) field during the creation of the Shopping Cart.
      I've created my own Search Help, and I'm looking for a BADI which will fit in my reuirement.
      So far I've tried BADI 'BBP_DRIVER_DETREMINE ' for the same, but it's not getting called for providing F4 help.

    Hello all,
    This is to correct my posting on Nov 16, 2009 8:20 AM. I have done further research and testing and finally got the multiple GL working. I have to remove the authorisation for object BBP_FUNCT on activity BE_FE_HELP to disable the serach help function. This way, the user will see the allowed list of GLs instead of a search help.

  • Cost Center and G/L account search help not working

    Hi Gurus,
    I am facing a problem with the search help button for cost assignment in Shop screen.
    When I press the search button for cost center, there is no new screen coming up asking me the search criteria to be given as input. Same is the problem when I search for G/L accounts.
    I have defined the backend RFC user as dialog user and also defined the RFC(dialog) in the SRM system for the backend RFC.
    My user id has authorization object M_BBP_SHLP in my profile.
    What may be the reason for this issue?
    Note: I am currently using SRM5.0 system with backend R/3 4.7 version. This SRM system is already connected to another backend system ECC6.0, and the search help is working fine for those users.
    Pls. guide me on how to resolve this issue.

    Hi Ancy,
    Don't give wild search. Give some words following with * like "UK*" lists all the UK Cost centers. For the G/L accounts: G/L Accounts will get updated in the SC automatically depend upon the product category what you have selected.
    Check the configuration  Cross Application Basic settings->Account Assignment ->Define G/L Account for the product category.
    If you have maintained the configuration for the paritcular G/L Account and Product cateogyr then when G/L Account is updated automatically in the SC (Depend upon this configuration)

  • Cost Center & GL Account search not working.

    Hello all,
    I am having the following problem while creating a shopping cart, at the Cost Assignment (item level). When I click on the binoculars for searching CC or GL Accounts, i get the following message: "Display not possible (inconsistency in the input help)".
    Now, I've researched and tried every possible suggestion:
    1. Make sure the requester has permissions BBP_FUNCT/value: BE_F4_HELP, and S_RFC/value:*   (SU01), among many others.
    2. I have assigned to the requester the respective roles in the organizational structure.
    3. Changed the RFC user (from SRM to R/3) from type "communications" to dialog. This user has SAP_ALL in the backend system.
    I have run out of ideas of what might be the problem. I've searched through the forums and used all of the ideas mentioned above, but the problem is still there.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Cost center not committed on shopping cart,  for account assign cat "Asset"

    Hello,
    We are implementing extended classic scenario in SRM 5.0 with ECC 6.0 backend.
    While creating a shopping cart in SRM, in the cost assignment tab when we select an account assignment category as “Asset", and then try to enter a value in the cost center in the basic details of cost assignment, it is not getting committed to shopping cart screen. The cost center field value is lost when we move to the next screen for ordering the shopping cart. For the asset related purchases, we are using main account assignment category as "asset" and it also requires cost center, because while the asset master record is being created in R/3 for these items,it requires the cost center. We also using internal order. So for the account assignment category "Asset", the other account assignment fields that can be entered are cost center, internal order and one custom field called "project code".
    We have created this user-defined field in the cost assignment tab in the shopping cart, purchase order and confirmation documents in SRM in accordance with the OSS note 672960. We have implemented BBP_CUF_BADI_2 & BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI, BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI for the shopping cart object.
    Can someone please help me with this issue?

      I know that for assets, SC requires asset number and G/L is automatically derived from the corresponding asset class from the backend. In our case, we are putting dummy asset number in shopping cart and this asset number exists in R/3. But we are not generating asset creation during shopping cart creation but we are doing it during the PO creation in doc change badi. During this asset generation you also need cost center on the asset record. So we have added cost center field for Asset account assignment category and I can see it in the details of account assignment. But when I enter this cost center on shopping cart, it doesnot get committed, it disappears when I order the shopping cart.
    Does anybody have any clue why this might be happening?

  • Add "cost center" query to a start condition?

    Hi there,
    we got a new requirement for one of our plants.
    We're on SRM 5.0 classic scenario.
    Is it possible to add a "cost center" query to a specific start condition (SWB_PROCUREMENT) of a workflow?
    E.g. if a user uses cost center 4711 for a shopping cart item a specific cost center responsible xyz should approve this item.
    If the user uses another cost center 4712 for a second item in this shopping cart this item should be approved by another cost center responsible abc.
    Is that somehow possible ?
    So far I did not find a suitable expression for cost center.

    thanks for your answer. Perhaps you also have a hint for the following:
    I can't really find in the metioned thread or in note 731637 what happens if a SC with several items is partially approved.
    Example:
    SC with 3 items:
    item 1 cc 1000
    item 2 cc 2000
    item 3 cc 1000
    Let's say item 1+3 have been approved by the approver found by badi and WS14500015. Is a PO or a purchase requisition created in backend? Or is it only created after the whole SC has been approved (i.e. also item 2).

  • Default cost center not appearing for certain users

    Hi Gurus,
    We are on SRM 4.0 classic scenario.
    For certain users when they create SC in SRM the default cost center is not automatically taken into account even if they change it to it. The default cost center was changed for these users and some of them still refer to the old cost center no. which was maintained for them.
    The users are not defective and the except the cost center all other attributes work fine. I have tested by deleting & recreating new BP no. for the users but it still doesnt help. Please advise.

  • Function module expression for dynamic value for Cost center in BRF

    Hello Experts,
    We are in SRM 7.0 and our business object is shopping cart using BRF.
    Right now we have Cost Center Approver and its evaluation id ()zev_sc_**_*) has expression zc_sc_*_** that checks whether overallvalue >= 5000. It initiates cost center approver only if value is greater than or equal to 5000. But this is static expression. We want it in a dynamic way so that we don't have to modify this value frequently. Therefore we have set approach to use an expression of Function Module BAdI as expression. We have a new z table which contains value field zval. Now I want to know how or what should be the process so that this FM knows the corresponding value from a z table that user might select in the SC.How it should be linked to this. I am using /SAPSRM/WF_BRF_0EXP000 function module. Please advise where should the code be written ? Any method ? And what should be the exporting and importing parameters for this ?
    Right now I can see EV_VALUE, EV_TYPE, EV_CURRENCY etc as exporting paramters. Looking for your suggestions experts.

    just follow the steps.
    i) I believe you have created the event as Zev_***  with implememt Class     0EVENT.
    ii) copy the std fm /SAPSRM/WF_BRF_0EXP000 to z custom fm
    iii)  since you want to have an  expression as function module procurement type create expression  with                                                                               
    expression type  0CF001
                                                                                    result type B ( boolean)
                                                                                    Buffering as event-controlled buffering
    and very important procurement type as function module.
    iv) immediatly you may find written as AccessFM where pass your custom z function module.
    v) finally link this expression to your event.
    In the custom function module  the exporting parameter EV_VALUE is solely responsible for identifieng the approval based upon the approval criteria. If the field EV_VALUE = 'X' this notify that the approval is required  for current process level, otherwise if it is initial then it will skip the current level and continue with the next level.

    After that loop the internal  table LT__ITEM   and you decide based upon your approval criteria for each line item level wheather the gross price of  line item is exceed 5000k or not.
    you should decide the value for field EV_VALUE within the loop so that each line item will be verified for approval.

  • How to restrict the Cost Center Search ?

    Hi everybody,
    Im a little bit worried... In my Org Model, I defined in the CNT user's attribute some Cost Centers. 
    I was thinking that this action would restrict the Cost Centers that the end-user can use. 
    Obviously not.. it seems that it is just a default value, but the user can search and put any cost center.  The same concept applies for the GL account.  =(
    Somebody knows how to really restrict the cost centers that an user can use ?

    Hi Diego,
    For cost centers search help in SRM, there are 2 options:
    1 - You use the backend search help, then backend search help is called directly, and the attributes are not taken into account.
    2 - You do not use the backend search help, then a HTML select option (dropdown list) of codes is shown to the user with all the values entered (one by one) in the user attributes (or herited values, but ranges are not supported).
    The first option is used as soon as the user has the authorization object (authorization object SRM 3.0: M_BBP_SHLP; authorization object SRM 4.0: BBP_FUNCT/value: BE_F4_HELP)
    What I understand, is that you want to use the backend search help, with a limitation upon the user attributes: this can be done using the search help BADI.
