Default cost center not appearing for certain users

Hi Gurus,
We are on SRM 4.0 classic scenario.
For certain users when they create SC in SRM the default cost center is not automatically taken into account even if they change it to it. The default cost center was changed for these users and some of them still refer to the old cost center no. which was maintained for them.
The users are not defective and the except the cost center all other attributes work fine. I have tested by deleting & recreating new BP no. for the users but it still doesnt help. Please advise.

Cost center not appearing for G/L (Balance account) while posting

I have created symbolic account 1300, accrued leave pay with account assign type as F.
I hvae assigned the relevant G/L to this symbolic account under 'assign balance sheet accounts'
However while posting, the relevant cost center assignment is not captured next to the G/L account.
The cost center is correctly maintained in IT0001 and is displayed for the other expense accounts. But is missing for all balance G/L accounts.

Line items are not appearing for some users

In one module pool program some line items are not appering for specific users. For Ex: Out of 5 line items user1 is able to see only 3 and user2 able to see all the line items. what might be the reason.

What do you mean by line items? Are you talking about screen fields in your module pool program or output of the program?

GL account and cost center field appearing for Goods issue movt type 201

Hi SAP Gurus
We are trying to post goods issue in ecc6 . The problem is that the GL Account and cost center fields are available fields .The cost center field is logical but why the GL account field is avaiable .
How we can grey out the same field as it is going to be picked up from the valuation class setting in GBB - VBR ? Any ideas

You think that its ok we have to input the cost center .
But if you allow the users to input the GL then you are overriding the whole purpose of defining the valuation class and offsetting entries ? What is your opinion ?When you input the material in the goods issue screen the offsetting entry needs to be picked from the GBB -VBR .Although even if you do not enter the GL the system posts the Godds issue document .But from the control perspective this needs to be suppressed .
What do you think ?

Cost center not appearing while settling to GL Account using AIAB

There is one AuC 100000019. There are two values: Rs.10000 and Rs.145500
Now i want to settle it to GL account using AIAB.
In AIAB under Category field, i gave GL (i.e. GL account as Category). Then i mentioned GL Account as settlement receiver. Then i double clicked on the settlement rule line and specified cost center (same as assets)
While settling using TCOde AIBU, it gave error, and asked for CO object. I do not know why its not picking cost center even though i specifically gave the cost center.
Please let me know what can be done

What was the resolution here? I know the implementing Note 744194 does not fix this issue. I am thinking 2 possible scenarios:
1. If the cost center for AuC settlement to GL is going to be the same each time, then a GL account can be specifically setup for the purpose of this settlement and the Cost Center can be defaulted via OKB9.
2. If the Cost Center differs, then as you mentioned: It cannot be defaulted.
I am encountering the same issue, please share anything that you can.

Excel Save As dialog not appearing for one user

Hi,
My company uses a payroll application called Cintra.
It's possible to run a report in this application and
export it to Excel.
When one of the users exports a report and clicks File > Save As > Browse nothing happens. All other users get the Save as dialog.
Is there any setting that may be preventing this? She does not appear to have this trouble when saving any other
Excel
files.
We all use Excel 2013 on Windows 7 in Citrix.

Based on your description, it's most likely that a Third-party add-in causes this issue, you can try to start excel in safe mode to test it. excel.exe /safe

DateTimeControl Not Appearing for some Users

Hi,
I have the DateTimeControl on SharePoint web part. It works fine for most people but for others the calendar selection button does not appear. Only the textbox appears.
Why is this?

We can do as follows:
1. We can create a new user with the same permissions as the user who can not see the calendar selection button.
Then use the new user login site and see whether the issue occurs.
2. Use the new user to debug your code.
3. Use IE8 to check whether the calendar selection button appears.

Error KI222 - Cost Center Not Valid for Date

Iu2019m having a problem goods issuing material to a cost center (movement type 201) via a call of the BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE BAPI (ECC 6.0). I can post a specific material / plant / storage location / cost center combination without issue via MB1A but when attempting to call the BAPI processing the exact same data, I get the error message KI222: Cost center aaaa/ccccc does not exist on 05/14/2009. (where aaaa = the appropriate controlling area and ccccc = the cost center). Iu2019ve checked the validity dates on the cost center via KS03 and all looks fine (the cost center is valid until 12/31/9999). The cost center is valid on the posting and entry date I'm passing in the BAPI header.
Any ideas what I may be doing wrong or if thereu2019s some field Iu2019m not appropriately selecting / flagging in the BAPI. Iu2019m using the BAPI successfully for several other movement types (701, 702, 551, 552).

are you sure that the posting and document dates you submit with the BAPI are correct?

Cost Center not appearing in FAGLL03

Dear Forum,
We have come accross a peculiar situation. The GL Document is posted using the Non-Statistical Order as well as Cost Center. However, when we veiw the Expense GL Account using the T Code FAGLL03, we cannot see the Cost Center, but can view the Profit Center. But when we view the Exepnse GL Account using the T Code FBL3N we can see the Cost Center. What could be the reason for this? Is it becuase of the use of internal Order in the document? This abnormal behaviour is being observed only in case of document with Internal Order and not in case of other documents posted with Cost Centers but without Internal Orders. What do we need to check to understand this behaviour?

Cost Center not appearing in Hierarchy

I am sending an IDoc from an external system into ERP to create new cost centers. The IDoc comes in successfully and creates the cost center and I can see that it was correctly assigned to the cost center area if I look at the record in KS03. However, when I look at the cost center hierarchy it does not show that the cost center has been assigned to the correct node.
Any clue why this may be happening?

When sending cost center data with COSMAS01 this will include the hierarchy node in the cost center master data (separate field in cost center table CSKS). So only the information of the cost center node is transported. However, COSMAS does not include the hierarchy itself.
This is a separate IDoc type, namely COGRP1 which is not transported with IDoc type COSMAS01.
Nevertheless, the hierarchy can then be rebuilt in the target system by running RKCORRH1. This report will read the cost center´s master data and insert this cost center into the specified node of the standard hierarchy.
This is actually a regular procedure - if you do not want to run the report you may also need to send the hierarchy with IDoc type COGRP1 separately.

CM Repository manager is not appearing for other users

Hi Friends,
I have configured CM repository manager with the user having super admin role.
After configuring it am able to see the KM content folder in the Content Administration->KM Content only with the user from where i have configured it. But if i login with the other non-super users the KM content folder is not appearing.
when i open the permissions of the KM content folder through the details of the context menu am getting as below.
child permissions
read permissions
write permissions
parent permissions etc
where all above are in display mode. So with this i cannt give read or write permission to any other user.
Could anyone please help me out to make it visible to all users.
I have activated all repository services while creating CM repository manager.
Is there any other permissions to be set to make KM folder visible to all users or do i need to any other repository service?

Form can not work for certain user.

We have one customized request search form. We meet ‘'ORA-01403: no data found’ for ONLY one users. It works fine for all other users. I checked the user responsibilities. All users have the same responsibilities. And other function and form works fine for this user. So only this form failed for this user. Any comments?

The important thing to work out is what query is giving the ORA-1403? Without knowing that, it could be caused by anything. My guess would be that there is some data condition that is false for the user that is failing but true for all other users. However, without knowing the query giving the error, you don't know which data to look at.

Position not appearing for many users in SRM Org.

We are using 7.02. HCM data is being replicated to SRM. We have rolled out one Company code in our Org.
When users start using SRM, they couldn't able to perform, as Position is not being transferred from HR. We are solving when each user is complain, one by one. Is there any way where can find list of users who don't have position in SRM Org. Accordingly that list of users data can be pulled from HR. Can we pull the data of HR for list of users.
Pls. let me know the easiest way in doing this.

You can use drag and drop, its why it was created in the first place.
If you don't like doing that, you could end the relation in time.
And then assign the user to the new Organizational Unit.
Or you could delete the relationship and assign the new one.
always refresh the organizational buffer when you're done (transactions SWU_OBUF)

Acrobat 9 Pro will not open for certain users - Not UNC path error

Hello, I have recently installed Acrobat 9 Pro and It runs fine in an alternate account on my machine. When I go to run it on the primary account, It immediately throws an error. I have checked the registry and the account in question does not have its app data on a UNC path. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

This is a user forum, but with Adobe you might find better help here than in other places anyway. Many of the users here have been through most of the problems and if you hit one that has been there you will likely get a good answer. Some of the folks are good at making suggestions to try (as they would try) and others will try to replicate the problem if you give enough info. Many of us are a bit crazy for spending so much time here, but we learn along with helping, an aspect we enjoy - takes the edge off the day! (OK, maybe I am speaking for myself.)

Custom Adobe forms do not display for Certain users

Custom forms were created and the majority of users can
display them. Some users are not able to display forms
unless you give them a new user ID. Role for all forms are
attached to position, if the role is attached to the temporary user ID it works. I am looking solutions or possible causes.
Using ECC 6.0.
