BCS configuration transport errors

Hi Experts,
I have a problem when I tried to transport BCS configuration from BWD into BWT. Previously, those configuration were transported succesfully into BWT; however, somehow this time failed.
The error message that I got in STMS:
Communication error: Destination BWT -> long text
Message no. FINB_TR047
Diagnosis
A communication error has arisen during execution of the remote function call.
Destination: BWT
Message: Name or password is incorrect. Please re-enter
System response
The import could not be completed correctly.
Procedure
Check whether program terminations have occurred in the target system (target client).
I have searched few OSS Notes which is related but it doesn't help.
Do you have some ideas how to fix this problem?
Thank you very much and points will be given for helpful answers.
Regards,
Mona

Hi Mona,
Looks like your RFC-connection is bad. You need to check it out, and repair. Probably somebody changed ALEREMOTE or BWREMOTE passwords.
See here the proper RFC's format:
SPRO: SEM/Business Analytics -> Fin. Basis -> Transport and client copies -> Transports -> Assign RFC destinations for transport methods. Click on the book icon and see the directions.

  • Integrated Configuration transport error

    Hi,
I just transported an Integrated Configuration from DVE system to the QA and the IC in the QAS is not configured correclty.
    PI 7.1
My IC have multiple operations and 2 receivers.
The Receivers System were translated correctly (SYSDVE > SYSQA) however the operations and the operation mapping were not correct when activated in QA.
In DVE Operation1 pointed to Receiver1, but in QAS my Operation1 is associated with Receiver2.
    Anyone had a similar issue?
    Regards,
    Martin

    Thanks for the answer Mickael.
The receivers are Business System. Everything seems well configured in the SLD. We did many transport without any problems, but it's the first time we transport Integrated Configuration.
I noticed that in my Integrated Configuration, the configuration is fine under the 'Receiver' tab for all of the operations, it's only under the 'Receiver Interfaces' that the Receiver Systems is not properly configured for the operations...

says that your network setup is not correct. You need to resolve that first.
As for Broker setup steps how about the doc or our Data Guard 11g Handbook?
It's 3 DGMGRL commands so I am not sure what 'steps' you need?

I searched the web and found that this is a proxy setting proble.
I configured apache earlier to use the local host that run the web client.
When I change the http port host and port number and try to login into the web client its giving me page not found error. So I changed the proxy settings to default and then restarted the system and then tried to log into the web client and it worked.
I dont know where i am going wrong.I want to consume the WSDL and log into the web client but i am gettingthe above error.
Anyone's help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank You,
    Sravanthi.

  • How to configure a error queue for weblogic jms topic

    Hi guys.
I want to configure a error queue for weblogic jms topic. Wanted: The message goes to error destination when messages have expired or reached their redelivery limit.

To accomplish similar functionality go to JMSQ on (for which proxy is configured) server console (http://localhost:7001/console) and configure the Error Destination. Following URL will help in how to configure JMS Q.
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs103/ConsoleHelp/taskhelp/jms_modules/queues/ConfigureQueues.html

Your proxy will receive from this topic.

  • Error AIP-50079 : Transport error: [IPT_HttpSendHostNotFound]

I was trying Tutorial 3 ( EDI X12 over AS2) from User's Guide. As per instruction, I have configured two B2B Servers. Both the servers are up and running. When I am enqueuing 850 message from Acme server, It's not going to the other server. The error message I see under Reports->Error is:
    AIP-50079 : Transport error: [IPT_HttpSendHostNotFound] Host oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com: oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com cannot be found. oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com: oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com.
Not sure why Host name is showing twice (oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com: oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com) in the error message? It should be <Host Name> : <Port>, right?
Similar thing happened when I enqueued 855 from GlobalChips Server.
    Appreciate your quick response.
    Thanks

    Thanks Ramesh!
Actually I had to give IP address instead of Host name. Now My message is going from one server to another. However I am getting 'An unexpected error occurred during validation' error on the receiving side. Here is the b2b.lig in Debug more.
    Appreciate your help.

  • B2B-50079 Transport Error : Bad Message

    Hi All,
I have an SFTP outbound TPA which is used to transfer a PGP file from our internal system to TP vendor.
So the transfer is as follows B2B(Internal System) -> WebServer(acts as proxy while connecting to third party server)-->ThirdParty.
The use proxy is checked in the Channels of the Trading Partner.
The transfer fails while transfering the file to the TP with the below error.
"B2B-50079 Transport Error : Bad Message" I have manually sftpd from web server to the TP server and it is working absolutely fine.
Also i have verified that the certificate and host, port username details to connect to the TP are correct.
Please let us know on what the problem area could be.
There is no problem with file naming convention since the file is getting picked up by the listening channel and also we have checked the preserve file name option in the TP channel.
Any help on this is much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Naveen Kumar T.

    Thanks Anuj for the response.
We already have the required patch, also its working fine with other Trading partners which uses SFTP. We are facing this issue with only one Trading partner and the same is working fine with 10g B2B but not with 11g.
Please let us know if there is any other configurations which we can check.
    Thanks,
    Sirisha

  • Crystal Reports logon issue across firewall - Transport error:communication

    Hi,
We are facing an error when we try to logon to the BO server using the crystal reports tool (Crystal Reports Enterprise XI Release 2 ) outside the firewall. The login is working fine when inside the firewall. The BO server is on a unix box within the customer network and we are trying to login from a PC (using Crystal Reports Enterprise XI Release 2) which is outside that network. The following are the errors we get when trying to logon using authentication as "Enterprise" and system name as "fully qualified server name:6400"
    1. Without including any IP addresses in the PC host file we get "Transport error:communication failure" on login.
    2. When I included the IP and name of the BO server in the PC host file (xx.xx.xx.xx host name) we get an error - "CMS host 'xxxx' address was resolved properly, but cannot be reached to establish a CMS connection.Verify your router/firewall allows communication on port 6400."
(The IP address I include in the PC host file is the actual IP address of the BO server)
    3. I know we have natted IP addresses.. and the IP address of the BO server appears to be different when I do a ping to the BO server from outside the customer network i.e from the external PC. When I include the IP address in the host file (which I get from the ping <servername> outside the customer network from my PC) I get "Transport error:communication failure".
The port 6400 has been opened in the firewall. We are able to login to the CMC link and the Info view without any issues.
It will be great to get some advise on this as it has become a high priority issue in our workspace now.
    Thanks,
    Reeti

    Hi All,
I had a breakthrough in logging to BOX1R2 Crystal Reports client outside the firewall. The following was done in our case:
    1. Open the port 6400 on the server to allow traffic from outside the firewall.
    2. Add the following command at the end in the cmsLAUNCH command line in ccm.config (ours is a BO server on Sun OS)
    -port FQDN:6400 -requestport XXXX
The -port parameter was explicitly specified to make CMS explicitly listen on port 6400.
The -requestport parameter was added to configure the server to register a fixed port (which has external access) with the CMS rather than letting it choose a dynamically selected one...so XXXX can be any port which is not allocated to any app and is also open in the firewall)
    Thanks,
    Reeti

  • Remote Debugging w/Eclipse Transport Error

I am requesting help on a problem I am encountering using remote debugging with eclipse and Weblogic 8.1.2. I have successfully used remote debugging in the past with other application servers, but I have been unsuccessful with Weblogic 8.1.
I have set the remote debugging options both on the weblogic start script as well as configured eclipse to connect to the port that was defined in the startup script (See Below). When I start the remote debugger within eclipse and it seems to connect properly. Once I set a break point or remove a break point, weblogic generates a "Transport error, error code = -1" and stops the debugger with in Eclipse.
At this point I am at a loss of what is causing this error. I would appreciate any help on this issue.
    Operating System: WindowsXP Pro
    Weblogic Version: 8.1.2
    Eclipse 3.2
    JDK 1.4.2
    JAVA_OPTS: =-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Djava.compiler=NONE -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=7777,server=y,suspend=n
    Thanks!
    Rafael Salazar

Interesting. I tried it and it works. you might want to check your Eclipse port number. In addition try netstat -a to see if port 1044 is active.
This one might also help: http://www.jacoozi.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=119&Itemid=134
Let me know if you have any questions.

  • Transport error 202 bind failed address already in use

how to rectify -- transport error 202 bind failed address already in use-- while running CA server
i have created new production and pub server, first i runned production server after that while running CA server i got that error. if i run CA server independently its running

It seems like a port conflict issue. You should check rmi and other ports in the configuration file for the component /atg/dynamo/Configuration in the localconfig of your production and publishing servers directories under <ATG>\home\servers. Also, your app server should be configured to run two separate instances for production and publishing server as per the http ports specified in /atg/dynamo/Configuration.

  • Open Hub Destination - Transport Error

    Hi,
Following error occured while transporting the Open Hub Destination(OHD)  to QA.
Created OHD using Logical file as File type.
    Syntax group: WINDOWS NT.
    Transport Error Log:
Start of the after-import method RS_DEST_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) DEST (Activation Mode)
Application server bidwXXX does not exist.
Start of the after-import method RS_DEST_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) DEST (Delete Mode)
Errors occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT for DEST L
    RS_AFTER_IMPORT belongs to package RS
The errors affect the following components:
       BW-WHM (Warehouse Management)
are we missing anything configuration here?
    Regards

    Ananda,
This is my file path in Dev:
D:\usr\sap\<SYSID>\DVEBMGS00\work\<FILENAME> in this path i have mentioned BWD instead of <SYSID> initially, it failed so i thought i would give a try by giving the parameter <SYSID> instead of BWD, even that failed.
When i have transported OHD with the path D:\usr\sap\<SYSID>\DVEBMGS00\work\<FILENAME> it was created in QA in the same directory as mentioned in Dev.So i believe i have the right file path in QA.
    Thanks.

  • MDM 2 outbound Message Got Transport Error

    Hi
I am trying to execute a command for a Device (Connect/Disconnect/On demand read) but once the Outbound Comm Object is reaches the Awaiting Response life cycle State, It errors out on receiving a Synchronous Error Response. Following is the list of Log entries for Outbound Comm object -
    6. 11-26-2011 10:15PM Transitioned to Response Error. Student , 01 ( USER01 ) Status Transition
    5. 11-26-2011 10:15PM Outbound message got transport error. Please check "How to Create Activity Outbound Communication" configuration.   Student , 01 ( USER01 )   Exception   Universal Head-End System, Disconnect Device, Real-time, Error
    4.00 11-26-2011 10:15PM Outbound Message is sent to Head-End System. Student , 01 ( USER01 ) System Universal Head-End System, Disconnect Device, Real-time, Error
    3.00 11-26-2011 10:15PM Transitioned to Awaiting Response. Student , 01 ( USER01 ) Status Transition
    2.00 11-26-2011 10:15PM Transitioned to Validate. Student , 01 ( USER01 ) Status Transition
    1.00 11-26-2011 10:15PM Created in status Pending.
Also , Synchronous response is supposed to be sent by head end in a actual scenario. how the OB COmm BO is getting any sync response?

We have found the cause of my problem.
On the configuration of our Outbound Message XAI Receiver F1OUTBNDMSG, we had the Executer ID set to XAIURL (Remote XAI). This caused the XAI Receiver to initiate the Inbound XAI call. The correct configuration is to set the Executer ID to BYPASSXAI.
The CC&B 2.3.1 help files explain this well as seen below:
    XAI Receiver - Main
Identify the Executer ID. Select the XAILOCAL executer if the XAI class for this receiver is STGCTLRCVR. Select the BYPASSXAI executer if the XAI class for this receiver is OUTMSGRCVR. For all other receivers select the XAIURL executer. For more information, refer to XAI Executer.
Unfortunately, we were looking at CC&B 2.2 documentation and it does not contain the above information.

  • Transport error in one instance of B2B

We have two instances of B2B in cluster and both point to single meta data repository. We have a trading parter which uses SFTP protocol and places the files on to a file system. If the request goes to first instance its processed successfully and the file is placed on to the file system. But we are getting a Transport error when the request goes to the B2B second instance. We tried ssh from the server where second instance is to the destination unix box with the same user id and password and it works.
Has any one faced this issue?
    Thanks

The same configuration works fine on the other node and the data is sucessfully placed on to the file system. When we login into the B2B UI from individual servers we see the configuration being updated and same ie the same host details and same user id
