BDC message parameter(MSGTYP) by default coming Success

Hi,
In my BDC program by default the message type is coming success, whatever flat file I pass.
Does anybody have any idea about this, letme know(kind of urgent).

That particular issue was not xactly sloved. I will say found an alternative way to handle error.
Actually what happened was even after call transaction was failing "BDC_MSGCOLL-MSGtyp" was giving "S" means success. So, to handle  this problem I wrote "SY-SUBRC" check after call transaction statement.
     So when BDC_MSGCOLL-MSGtyp = 'S' and SY-SUBRC NE 0, then only I was cosidering that particular call transaction successful.
So, if you have any other way to handle this issue, kindly share with me.

  • Posting Document num not captured in BDC message table

    I am working on a dataload program for Asset Transfer using tcode ABUMN. If I run ABUMN online, it will give me the message saying, 'Asset Transaction posted with document no. xxxxxx' after saving the trx. However, I can't capture this message while running the Call Trx/BDX program.
    I don't know why the message table is empty after a successful Call Transaction. If there is an error, it will capture it, but no meesage if the trx is successul.  I thought the table will capture any message whether it is a 'S' or 'E' or 'W'. It works for other tcodes, but not for tcode ABUMN. 
    DATA: T_MESSTAB LIKE BDCMSGCOLL OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.

    CAll Transcation is a standard code, so there is need to specify what types of message should be captured.
    I remember seeing some threads about the empty message table, and they suggest to use Parameter Id to capture the posting document #.  I tried  par id ' BLN' and still not able to see anything there.!!

    I have come across with the same issue with transaction CS01. I have done it in a round away . I find an userexit after save , and export the  document number to memory and after the call transaction import the document number from memory and updated the BDCMSGCOLL table.

    and u want to assign some value to field before executing the transaction.
    if the field has parameter id u can assign value to field before calling the transaction.
    that is it take the default value from the memmory.

  • Suppress BDC message

    I have a requirement to run 3 BDC's in  single program, when i run the first BDC,because of the success message issued by BDC, my 2nd BDC is not running. When i execute in foreground , i can see the sucess message of the first BDC tcode  in the next BDC tcode initial screen.
    After going through the posts ,I have tried all options like using RACOMMIT....or deleting the sucess messages from the first BDC message table etc.
    my problem still exists, need your inputs on the same.

    Get the messages of each transaction into separate internal table also refresh BDC internal table.
    Check if you are updating same datable base table or fields from this transactions. If it is then you use ENDIQUE & DEQUE funtion module to lock database table during updation and unlock it once updation done.

    Hi, I was able to reformat my iPod and that worked. I read it on one of the threads and I am copy pasting the method below:
    I opened the "My Computer" window and right-clicked on my ipod, and then selected "Format". I select "Yes" to format since I don't have anything on the nano to delete anymore.
    I then Eject my nano from the computer and did a restart while the nano is disconnected from the computer.
    Once Windows finish loading I reconnect the USB to the nano(back of computer) which automatically pulls up iTune. It asked me to name the new ipod detected and created a playlist for that specific ipod name.

    I have also had the same problem with my Win 7 32 bit computer.  I had great help from Apple techs in Montreal and Orlando for 2.5 hours.  They helped me remove every trace of Apple products and clean the registry in two different ways.  Each install gave the same problem!  If Apple techs can't fix it (on some of our machines) then we are really in trouble.  They promised to raise it with the "engineers" and get back to me with a solution.  I am waiting and hoping.  Otherwise maybe version 11.1.5 will have a fix ??

    go to settings -> phone -> my number (iput your phone number)

    after you change it, your phone number will authenticate with the operator that you use,

    Hi,
    i found solution actually i installed forms 11g along with soa suite 11g which was conflicting because forms 11g was 11.1.2 and soa suite domain was 11.1.3
    so i guess its a same issue conflict between PS1 and PS2

    It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

    UTIL_IC on your screenshot is just a profile of parameters (parameters' profile) which you maintain in SPRO -> CRM -> UI Framework -> Technical Role Definition -> Define Parameters.
    For instance here is a definition of ZUTIL_IC there:
    May be you have more parameters assigned to UTIL_IC profile but in my system UTIL_IS is just empty.
    And after that assign this profile as PARAMETERS in desired business role instead of UTIL_IC.

    Hello,
    You have misunderstood the concept of Parameter ID.
    A field can be filled with proposed values from SAP memory using a parameter ID for that particular user. Normally in Finance, you can keep Company Code, Controlling Area etc. can ke kept as default. You find the Parameter tab in User Master Record in SU01.
    I am afraid that you want to populate the bank details in vendor master record. These fields are very critical for all types of payment. You should double make sure that you are entering the correct bank details in the vendor master record. If you do not fill any of these details, your BACS and CHAPS (DME) payments would get failed.
    If your client do not have details of bank information, the same can be filled later by writing a LSMW.

    By default only the first line of the system message is shown.  By clicking the 'Details >>' the whole message can be shown.

    You created Condition type XXXX and assigned the same to a pricing procedure(Example :RM0000)(M/08) and  made that codition as Mandatory in M/08 but not appearing in PO. Now check the condition type in M/06 and see did you select  exclusion indicator in "Control data 2" segment, if yes , just remove that indicator & keep as blank and save.
    Also keep Manual entries as No limitation in "Changes which can be made segment" & save.
    Now try to create PO , you will have Condition type XXXX in  the PO.
