Hi,
For WLS version 9.2 there is a Fix Available for the same issue : CR309671 Please contact Oracle support to get the Patch (CR309671).
After BEA/Oracle integration the Patch Naming convention is changed so to get the TAR version of the Patch Number u need to contact Oracle Support.
Thanks

Too bad :(
The you'll start by verifying that each managed server runs the same ADF Runtime version. If this is OK, you'll need to check if the session replication of the clustered servers is working. After that you'll ... well lets hope once it's set up correct it'll work.

• Weblogic.utils.AssertionError: weblogic 8.1 SP4 cluster

Hi,
I'm try to run a junit test from eclipse that runs a method in a bean deployed on a WL8.1 SP4 cluster.
There are other posts for AssertionErrors in the firum but none have this particular error, the only references I could find to it were BEA readme docs for problems solved in WebLogic 7.
If I move the bean from the cluster and run it on the admin server then happy days so I'm thinking it could be a cluster config problem?

Assuming the log entries you care about are generated by your application, and not the infrastructure, you're better off adding millisecond detail to your application log messages. If you're using commons-logging, you can tie this to the WL server log implicitly through configuration, or you could use NonCatalogLogger to explicitly log to the WL server log.

This ExecuteThread number is 360th.
I think your instance is already too busy.
I guess OOME is second issue.
If i have to solve this problem, i consider several follow things.
1. Check the total requests.
- I guess we need to sizing of wls instances.
2. Extend wls instance count.
- Under 100 ExecuteThread per wls instance
3. Find long term requests, especially STUCK thread.
- Tuning that requests under JTA timeout.
4. Set the -Xms and -Xmx as same value.
- For performance.
I hope this will be helpful to you

• Servicegen: unable to load type library from classloader weblogic.utils.cl

Hi,
I am new to weblogic. I am encountering an error on trying to run the 'servicegen' command from my ant build scripts, on weblogic 9.2.
Please find the build.xml snapshot, and the stack trace given below.
Please help me out with this.
Points to be noted are:-
1) The ejb-jar.xml specifies the bean class, which is very much present in the classpath. The ejb-jar.xml is generated by xdoclet. Snapshot is given below:-

<ejb-jar >

No Description.

<display-name>Generated by XDoclet</display-name>
<enterprise-beans>

<session >

<home>com.alcatel.hdm.arcoril.webservice.ejb.ArcorNBIServiceHome</home>
<remote>com.alcatel.hdm.arcoril.webservice.ejb.ArcorNBIService</remote>
<local-home>com.alcatel.hdm.arcoril.webservice.ejb.ArcorNBIServiceLocalHome</local-home>
<local>com.alcatel.hdm.arcoril.webservice.ejb.ArcorNBIServiceLocal</local>
<ejb-class>com.alcatel.hdm.arcoril.webservice.ejb.ArcorNBIServiceBean</ejb-class>
<session-type>Stateless</session-type>
<transaction-type>Container</transaction-type>
</session>
</enterprise-beans>
</ejb-jar>
2) When I replace the "ejbJar" attribute in the 'service' command with "javaClassComponents" attribute, I am able to run the servicegen command successfully. Not sure why the ejbJar is creating problems.
3) Build.xml snapshot:-
<target name="gen-webservice" depends="init">

you didnt seem to have configured the datasource / connection pool / database control with proper db properties
you should check your configuration to see if you have done it right and then you should check your application and the properties settings in the controls to ensure they are right.

what I don't understand is the fact that my EventBusSystemModule in some way references wlsbJMSServer_auto_1 (not created by my script but this JMS server is already available in OSB).
I run successfully the above script againt ALSB 3.0 but now with OSB something goes wrong.
As you see from above output, the script:
- create file store EventBusFileStore_m01 (m01 is the m01 managed server in the cluster)
- create JMS server EventBusJMSServer_m01
- create file store EventBusFileStore_m02
- create JMS server EventBusJMSServer_m02
- created JMS module EventBusSystemModule
from py point of view the code is:
def createJMSModule(jmsModuleName, cluster):
print '#### ready to create JMS module ' + jmsModuleName
cd('/')
jmsModule = cmo.createJMSSystemResource(jmsModuleName)
cd('/JMSSystemResources/' + jmsModuleName)
set('Targets',jarray.array([ObjectName('com.bea:Name=' + cluster + ',Type=Cluster')], ObjectName))
print '#### created JMS module ' + jmsModuleName
print
about the creation of the UDQ
def createUniformDistributedQueue(destinationName, jndiDestination, jmsModuleName):
print '#### ready to create ' + destinationName
path = '/JMSSystemResources/' + jmsModuleName + '/JMSResource/' + jmsModuleName
try:
cd(path)
except WLSTException,e:
failed = 'Check if create-jms-core task has been already executed'
raise Failure(failed)
cmo.createUniformDistributedQueue(destinationName)
cd('/JMSSystemResources/' + jmsModuleName + '/JMSResource/' + jmsModuleName + '/UniformDistributedQueues/' + destinationName)
cmo.setJNDIName(jndiDestination)
cmo.setLoadBalancingPolicy('Round-Robin')
cmo.setDefaultTargetingEnabled(true)
print '#### created ' + destinationName
print
I'm trying to understand where is the problem ....
Thanks in advance
ferp

Sounds like the database information is wrong, Have you tried correctign this through the BPM Process administrator? There are a few places where you setup database configuration it's probably one of them.
I'm am fairly new so I can only offer up that.
I'm having a nightmare myself deplying a process engine, good luck

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes you are correct, i compiled using jdk1.5.
but my servlet code will not compile in jdk1.4 version since i used advanced vaector classes in that.
Is there any settings like script file that need to be changed so that i can point to my jdk1.5 compiler rather than the default one pointed by weblogic.
Thanks in advance
Ram

• Weblogic 9.1: Error in Dispatcher

Hi,
I have an application (.ear) which contains and ejb jar.
I call the ejb from a swing application. It works fine
using weblogic 8.1. But when I use weblogic 9.1, I get
the following error, although the application went as
expected. What do I miss?
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Obviously, the WAR file cannot be opened by Weblogic, but why and how to solve it ... have no clue. We went through almost everything in Internet, regarding this issue, but we couldn't find a solution.
Every idea or suggestion is more than welcome because I'm running out of ideas :(

Did you perhaps do something like FTP the EAR file to the RedHat box in text mode or something? Can you check that the file size of the file on RedHat is the same as it was on Windows?

<ANSWER>
Theoretically, the working directory JSP for the portal implementation that
tells the portal framework where to find your portal pages and the BEA
WebLogic Portal pages.(This page is qualified from yourDocumentRoot as
defined in the weblogic.properties file.)
Example: workingdir=/portals/myPortal/
You need to register the new working Dir in Weblogic.Properties files and
restart your Application Server after you create your new working Dir.
It is not easy to say with the situatrion that you described. Please check
the link http://edocs.beasys.com/wlac/portals/docs/portal.htm#getting for
details to create working Dir step by step. It may meet your needs. You may
also check http://www.weblogic.com/docs/admindocs/properties.html#jsp for
further information about JSP working Dir setting.
Please try it again and post the result if it's possible.
Thanks
