BED short debit for a particular invoice

Hi,
My client while posting an invoice has not debited the BED for a particular material. How can we adjust the same and post BED for that particular invoice.

    I want to know, how we can know for particular invoice, what is the due Item (Amount) on particular day.

    When I am posting payment (F-28), how can I know how much amount customer need to pay for the invoice, without calculating the discount percentage, means wothout going to the invoice.
    Is there any report / Table which gives results for customer due on particular date?

    1. Create the Line layout at the time of processing open items from the following path
    SPRO-Financial Accounting (New)-Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable-Business Transactions-Outgoing Payments-Manual Outgoing Payments-Make Settings for Processing Open Items-Define Line Layout
    Transaction Code -O7Z4S
    Create your own layout with required fields like document number(BELNR), doc. date(BLDAT), Document type(BLART), net due date(NETDT), days in arrears(VERZG)
    2. after creation of your layout assign your layout to Post with Clearing Customer payments(F-28) from the   following path
    SPRO-Financial Accounting (New)-Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable-Business Transactions-Outgoing Payments-Manual Outgoing Payments-Make Settings for Processing Open Items- Choose Standard Line Layout
    Transaction Code -O7V3
    double click on FB05-Post with clearing, select the customer radio button and enter.
    assign line layout created/modified by you.
    when u posting the payments, u can get your layout at the time of process open items tab click.
    or
    From FBL5N u can create your own layout with net due date.

  • Payment details for particular invoices.

    Hi all.
    I am developing a report where I need to display:
         1) the amount received as payment from customer.
         2) cheque no.
         3) Bank details like Bank name and acct. no.
                                   for a particular invoice number.
    Chq no.'  &  Amt. Received are maintained as text fields and can be fetched.
    The problem is with the bank details. I dont know which tables to use and the relationships.
    Using F1 technical help I got acct. no field as bseg_alv-ktonr and bank name as bseg_alv-kobez.
    But these are structures used here, I need to know the tables.
    If anyone has worked on the same or has info plz help.

    Its noy working here. There are fields called Account No. - bseg_alv-ktonr and Account Description - bseg_alv-kobez which I need to display. Account No. would be something like - 0000100006 and Description - 'Standard Chartered, Juhu'. If u go to tcode fbl5n u can see these fields. I dont know which tables hold these data.

    i want to post subsequent debit for a vendor before invoice.  but the system is giving a message "The quantity to be debited/credited cannot be any greater than the quantity invoiced so far."
    can anybody tell me how to post subsequent debit before posting the invoice (i haven't got the vendor invoice yet but i must pay the freight cost).

    Hi,
    Subsequent debit : Rarely, you receive from your vendors invoices or credit memos that refer to transactions that have already been invoiced. Your company wants to use subsequent debits/credits to process these documents. A subsequent debit/credit changes the total invoice value only of a purchase order item but the total invoice quantity remains unchanged.
    The processes are:
    1)     Subsequent credit or even subsequent debit is done when total “VALUE" of invoice is changed.
    2) Total invoice Quantity is remained same.
    3) Only value based transaction takes place & not quantity base.
    4) If credit memo is received from memo then subsequent credit is done in MIRO.
    For example vendor has submitted invoice of 100 Qty for Rs 1000 & we have posted the invoice & subsequently he realized that he has invoice for higher price i.e. it should have been actually 900 Rs as against Rs 1000 .In this case he will send a credit memo of Rs 100 for which we will be doing subsequent credit.
    5) This is done for PO items if an invoice is already posted
    6) cannot refer to particular invoice
    7) Listed separately in PO history
    8) In PO total values is updated but not Quantity.
    For ur case you can pay to Vendor(freight cost ) by selecting Planned Delivery Cost instead of Goods/Services items in MIRO T.Code

  • Calculate BED & relevant duties based on value @ PO for a particular vendor

    Dear experts,
    Is it possible to calculate excise duties and other relevant pricing elements at purchase order level based on VALUE and capture the same (part1 - MIGO and part11-J1IEX) for a PARTICULAR VENDOR INVOICE?
    The business process is like this. First we r receiving invoice from vendor and based on that we r creating PO and do other transaction activities.
    We r using ECC6.we r maintaining tax details through tax codes based on percentage and pricing procedure(TAXINJ) is activated and pricing elements are managed through cond.types(gross is value base and others are managed by %).
    I find difficulty to capture excise data (cin) through % in j1iex and manual value adjustment is tedious process for multiple line items.
    If it is possible, kindly suggest.

                u will not know what amount of excise the vendor is passing on u..
    just follow the below steps
    hi
    create material master with HAWA material type..
    maintain material chapter id combination in J1ID
    create tax code with zero excise and some vat/cst in FTXP
    maintain condition records for tax code in FV11
    Assign tax code to company code in tax on goods movement
    create PO in ME21N with the tax code created.
    During MIGO change the base amount
    Base amount = Base amount(PO) - Excise(bed, ecess, secess)
    enter the bed ecess secess in excise item details
    In excise header tab click on additional data (pencil icon) there in miscellaneous tab check mrp indicator
    post the document.
    in MIRO change the base amount to base amount - excise.
    During Purchase the RG23 A reg will Update..
    During Sales RG1 willl update..

    How to find whether an Invoice is been posted for a particular PO.
    I have a scenario where I fetch data into an internal table T_CDHDR(It has PO and other details). For each and every entry(PO) in that internal table I have to see whether an Invoice is been posted or not. They told to use <b>EKBE(Purchasing document history)</b> table. But, I don't know which field to check for and based on what conditions.
    Can someone help me with sample code or some valuable inputs.

    TABLE IS RIGHT.
    IN THAT TABLE FOR THE FIELD BEWTP CHECK WHETHER ENTRY IS "Q".
    Q STANDS FOR IR-L THAT MEANS INVOICE IS DONE.
    ON THE SELECTION SCREEN OF EKBE TABLE ENTER THE PO NUMBER.
    THEN CHECK WHETHER IT HAS ENTRY FOR BEWTP 'Q'.
    YOU CAN CROSS-CHECK THIS DATA FROM TABLE WITH THAT IN ACTUAL PO IN T.CODE - ME23N.
    ENTER PO NUMBER ,THEN IN ITEM DETAILS , IN HISTORY TAB SEE FOR THAT INVOICE NO.

    I think you should create new source ( type manual ) and transaction type ( I think you can use this you use in autoinvoice) in AR. After that you can create manual invoice.

  • Not able to pst A/R invoice for a particular group of BP's

    Hi,
      We are facing an issue with posting the A/R Invoice for a particular BP group. Al these BP's code start with the serial D400____. We are able to A/P & A/R Invoice for the other BP's. I tried creating a new BP record under the same serial but still we are facing the same issue. The error message displayed while adding the document is "Tax Definition 1 [Message 173-63]. But we are able to add the SO, Delivery and Excise invoice for the same BP. The error occurs while we are trying to add the A/R Invoice.
    Please forward me your suggestions regarding this issue.

  • Making short text field in Display mode for one particular Purchasing

    This is regarding Making the Short text field in Display mode of PR for one Particular Purchasing.. i am giving you a bit elaborate...We are into E-Catalog Procurement.I will do the shopping from the Vendors external catalog and i will return back to SAP.
    While doing so, i dont want the user to change the Short Text field. I want that field shud display the Description. When i tried with the Screen Layout settings, it is fully grayed out and i am not able to see the Description of the Material. Is there any other options to get this enabled?. Please advice me on this settings to be done. Thanks in Advance.

    Define a Field selection key (new not the one which is assigned to document type) which makes  short text editable in screen layout config. and assign it to functional authorization value in t.code OMET. (it should be numeric). Then assign that functional authorization value in user master SU01 for users with parameter id EFB.

  • PO report for a particular department

    Hi
    We would like to run a report of all PO's of the technical department from 01-01-2007 till now and with their costs and the grand total.
    This report should list:
    -          PO number (only for PM PO's)
    -          Cost centre
    -          Item description
    -          Item amount
    -          Item Ir-l
    -          Vendor
    Is there Any standard report in SAP coming close to this.
    One standard report ME2K provide POs for a particular Cost center . but i want all the cost incurred on a department like material, labour , service, in short all PO by a deprtment ..

    Hi Akkshaya,
    ME2K should be able to provide most of what you are needing from a PO perspective.  I would also suggest changing the scope of list to ALV (if you have that option) to list the output in a more user friendly format plus you are able to include more additional fields on the output. 
    The point I am not clear about is your explanation around showing all cost.  If that is the case you may want to go through the cost center reporting route.  I would suggest using KSB1.  On this report you have the ability to pull most of what you are needing including PO details.  The report is driven more from the CO side and shows breakdown at the GL level.  You may not get the vendor and invoice details since cost center usually is posted against at the time of GR and not IR (unless you have a variance).

    when i am updating excise registers using t.code J1I5
    i am getting the following error
    *Not Enough Balance for utilisation*
    Message no. 8I578
    Diagnosis
    The balance in the Account is not enough to carry out the current transaction.
    Procedure
    You need to increase the balance by either taking credit or depositing into PLA.

    Are you sure you are getting this when you do J1I5? You can deposit some amount to the register you are trying to update the material into through J1IH > Additional excise.
    Please check if you have set any default in the table "Utilisation determination" (SPRO >LG >India > Business transaction > Outgoing excise > utlisation determination") If you have set 100% utilisation to happen from PLA then you have to upload some balance into PLA a/c through J1IH > TR6C , else use J1IH > Additional excise for Rg23A and C.

    If you use J1i3 tcode for creating excis einvoice then the system will go for immediate utilization of the cenvat account and if there is no enough balance ie; cenvat from purchase is less then u will end with the above error message.
    So in that case we cn go for J1iin tocde for creating exciose invoice.
    Then the utilization will be done at the end of the month while submitting the returns to excise authorities.
    and also just check out the procedure that is followed in ur company and go accordingly.
    If they wanna go for immediate utilization then check whether they have made any TR6 challan payment and do the posting in system in tocde j1ih ---tr6 challan and increase the PLA BED balance and then do J1i3.

    what is the balance do u want to carry out.
    The error clearly mentioned the avilable balance is not enought to carry out the current transaction.
    Please increase the balance by either taking credit or deposting into Personal Ledger Account.

    You need to set the movement types that are relevant for various registers.
    spro -> Logistics general ->Tax on goods movement -> India -> Business transaction -> Incoming excise invoices ->Specify which movement types invoilves excise invoices.
    Please check that.

    First create receipt entry for Classification Key "RMA" for movement type 101 and then create for Goods Issue with Key "IDH" for movement type 601
    Also check in SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Business Transactions > Incoming Excise Invoices > Specify Which Movement Types Involve Excise Invoices > Here specify 101 and 601 for RG1 Register.
    While creating excise invoice. the invoice not picking up the value aed,bed . In billing document the condition is appearing

    You need to check two things if condition values are not copied to the excise invoice.
    1. Go to Logistics General>Tax on Goods movements>India >Basic Settings>Determination of Excise Duty>Maintain Excise Defaults
    Here you need to maintain your condition types of your BED, Ecess, SHE cess in A/R BED cond, A/R Ecess cond and A/R AT1 cond. Then try to cerate excise invoice.
    2. Go to Logistics General>Tax on Goods movements>India >Basic Settings>Determination of Excise Duty>Condition-Based Excise Determination>Classify Condition Types
    Here you need to assign your condition types of BED total Ecess total and SHE cess total if you are using totals condition types. Otherwise you leave it blank.
    Let me know still you have peoblem in this.

    All Excise Component and Cess Totals (JEXT,JEAT,JEST and JECT) must have Statistical Checkbox marked in V/08.For the Condition records totals, select the Key Combination: Sales Organization with value: 100%.
    Can you specify what Key combination for Basic Excise Duty (JEXP) you are using? I prefer the Country/Plant/Control Code/Material combination.
    It is not out of context to mention here, that whatever your Condition Type for Basic Price (PR00 - ZPRI in my case) is, it must have the 'Condition Category' as H - Basic Price in V/06. This is an extremely important setting until made this setting,all Excise Calculations will go into a tizzy.
    Check out the above and let me know.

    Thats means you need to have a balance for utilisation.
    To solve this you can do one of the two things.
    Create some puchase orders in MM. Whenever you purchase the excise duty is credited into your Rg23A part2. This will show in your utilisation balances in J2iun.
    Or else you can post some amounts into PLA accounts in J1IH transaction using JVs.
    I hope your configuration on all these accounts in LG- Tax on goods - Account determination is in place. If not you may have to do that before this.

    Here for the combination of your Series Group and Excise Registration, select the box Imm util This will solve your first issue
    For your second issue, again select the next tab Account Determination and click on Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction. There maintain as follows:-

    Goto J1IH and select TR6C and then select the accounts for which you want to post the amount. Enter the amount and Save. Before saving dont forget to post the cumulative accounts amount in PLA on Hold Account.

  • Settings for capture excise invoice in MIGO and other settings

      For excise invoice capture and post procedure which we are following is as follow
    1 : For Local Excise invoice
         After receving goods from Vendor  first we are Doing J1IEX Part 1,  Capture excise invoice  after saving this we are getting part 1 number,  then we are making GR with MB01 ref. to part 1 number , then qyuality inspection then updating material in Unrestricted stock from quality  afetr that we are doing J1IEX  poat  PART 2  here we are getting part 2 number  then invoice verification,
    2 : For import PO
          First MIRO for custom delivery cost we are getting MIRO number,  then J1IEX part 1 ref. to MIRO number and year  then MB01, ref. to part 1 of J1IEX then quality quality to store then J1IEX Part 2 then MIRO for vendor.
    now in many thread i read about capture invoice in MIGO   so i want to know the detail settings which required to be made so that we can perform our ruoutin in short time.

    You can do capture and post simultaniously in migo only
    the separate transaction is given as persons or users  may be diffrent for GR and excise
    if the same user want to do the GR and cap and posting then yes he can
    for capture and posting u also have to tick Post Excise Invoice Captured in MIGO in excise grp settings

    FBL5n and FBL1n and mark posted items yes/no
    then open item report includes parked invoices or does not include them
    Parked invoices can be seen with yellow sign.
    Choose noted items for down payment information.
