BEST CREATIVE APPLICATION 4 BURNING MUSIC & COPYING MUSIC OFF Z.MIC

Please help me. I just wanna know what the best creative application is to burn music and or copy music off my Zen Micro. I've looked at all the details, but I just don't know which one to choose. All the help, suggestions, and feedbacks will be greatly appreciated.

I like Zen Micro Media Explorer. It's similar enough to Windows Explorer that I didn't have much of a learning curve to drag & drop files into my ZM.
I'd rather listen to music than have to spend a lot of time learning how to use new software- I've got enough on my plate with PhotoShop.

  • Best way to move Chrismas music off ipod until next christmas

What is the best way to move all Christmas music off my ipod? I want to be able to also easily restore it next November. I just don't want to hear Christmas music in March. Thanks

If you are like me and you want to copy checked and non checked songs then do this from iTunes:
    1) make sure all your xmas songs are under one genre (xmas versus holiday or whatever)
    2) create a play list for that genre
    3) export the song list for that genre
    4) select all songs in that genre and hit the delete key
    5) choose yes for deleting the songs and choose no for deleting the files
    6) store the exported file list in a safe place
    7) next xmas, import the exported file list

  • Loading burned music off iPOD to new computer

I've loaded my purchased songs onto my new laptop but now I need to know how to move the music I burned to my iPOD from a CD, from my iPOD to this new computer. Apple Support said there may be third party software products out there to do this? Anyone know of anything?

For everything else (music from CDs, other downloads etc,) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide

  • How do I make sure my music will play when I burn a copy of a slide show?

How do I make sure my music will be included when I burn a copy of a slide show.  I have made many many slide shows over the years with the music in perfect sync to the slides.  I recently updated my iMac to OS 7.  I did not want to do it because I heard it created issues with iPhoto. But because I had updated my iPhone and my iPad, and although I don't like OS 7 (the first time  I have not liked an upgrade)  I thought I could figure out how to solve problems/ differences.  Well, this has me stumped.  It plays perfectly on my iMac, but when I burned a copy to share with friends, the music did not burn or transfer.  Does anyone have any ideas why this does not work, and what I have to do to ensure that the music I selected and added to the slide show using the settings did not burn along with the iPhoto slide show?

What is really your MacOS X version? iOS 7 is the operating system for iPhone, iPad, iPod.
But what versions are you using on your iMac? Have you upgraded to Mavericks, MacOS X 10.9.x and iPhoto 9.5.1, or are you using an earlier version?
It plays perfectly on my iMac, but when I burned a copy to share with friends, the music did not burn or transfer.
How did you export the slideshow and burn the DVD?
To have the music play along with the slideshow, you need to export your Slideshow project as a video file - use the "Export" button below the Slideshow window and select a format.
Check, if the exported video does play well and the audio is present.
Then burn a video DVD using iDVD or Toast, or a similar program to burn video DVDs,  see:

Mesh computer send 3 same cd but it not work
Souund card working ok under windows xp.
    How problem?

I bought the same soundcard and experienced the same problem as you (, but even under windows xp professional). What I did to solve the problem was only to bend the card a little bit downwards by putting a stick between the soundcard and the graphic card
BTW, do you install a double system on your computer? Are you really sure that your card still work under windows xp now?
ps: I have also the ASUS mainboard. I wonder, could it be possibly due to the incompatibility between ASUS' pci slot and creative's golden fingers?

  • Creative X-FI Xtreme Music H

hi, i want to buy the Xtreme music and want to knw which model is better:
    30SB046000000 -http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-Sound-Blaster-Xtreme-Music/dp/B000HXDK2U/ref=sr__2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=29677846&sr=8-2
    or the:
    ?30SB077200000 - http://scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=789620
noticable difference looks different (no gold connectors, and is missing the X-fi Xtreme fidility logo on the card)
    thanks

    Bulk Version -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulk_purchasing
Means : without Coloured Package, only Card + CD
The Creative CD works on Vista, but doesn't know about XP. Don't have a XP Version here to Test.
On the CD isn't anything like Vista only or something else...so i think it should work on XP too
btw: i doesn't use the CD, use the Youp-Pax Driver for best Sound and minimal Installationfiles.

  • Burning music CD fails

    Hi,
I've been having problem with burning music CD from iTunes.
I tried variety of CD-R's (Verbatim, Memolex, Maxell, Office Deipot brand, etc) . Sometimes Memolex works with very low speed (2X), but most of times fails with other brands.
What I saw is that iTunes prepared songs successfully but after start burning progress bar didn't move at all (for tens of minutes) and looked waiting for response from CD-R devices.
I tried with 2 machines below.
    1. Mac mini (Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz, 1GB memory) with PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K06RS: (replaced from factory part), OS 10.5.8
    2. Macbook (Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz, 2GB memory) with HL-DT-ST DVDRW GS21N (LG?) (Apple shipping device), OS10.5.8
    iTunes version is 10.6.3.
Does anyone have same problem and/or solution?
    Best regards,
    -Ichiro

I'm so sorry that I was confused for reporting.
Actually Macbook worked fine. Issue exists only on Mini.
So please let me clarify issue again here:

  • Creative Media Source - PC Music Library Corrupt

0Creative Media Source - PC Music Library Corrupt? After doing some backup utilities on my music archi've, and relocating them to a new larger dri've, I am now receiving messages that my PC Music Library is corrupt, and is unusable. All of my playlists are gone, and I can't make new ones. it attempts to access a backup copy of the PC Music Library, fails at that as well, then reports it will make a new one. This fails as well, and the message recommends to repair the Microsoft jet Databse Engine and the MDAC, etc.
So naturally, I go to the Microsoft website, as instructed by Creative, and that's about as useful as you'd expect...none.
I have attempted to delete what remains of the old one, both via Media Source and Windows (XP),? and have even reinstalled media source. The problem persists. I'm less concerned about recovery of the old playlists than I am simply starting over with new ones (it was time for a redo anyways).
Media Source itself works fine in all other apsects. It can read files, play music, and interact with my Creative Zen Xtra device. But it's all useless if I can't make playlists for use on the PC and transfer to the Zen.
Anyone have any ideas? I just want to be able to use my stuff again.

Re: Creative Media Source - PC Music Library Corruptn Wasn't aware that it was possible, and haven't seen anything that tells how it could be done. Typically I make my playlists in Creative Media Center, in Organizer mode. As I'm pawing through the archi've and want to add a specific track to a playlist, I? right-click>add to playlist, select the playlist from the drop-down, and move on.
After deleting the old corrupted playlist files, and starting over from scratch, here is what happens:? I attempt to add a track to a playlist...no playlists exist, so I create one on the spot. Upon submitting the info, CMS crashes. ? I reopen CMS, now the PC Music Library is corrupted again, the backup is corrupted, and no playlists exist, etc. At that point, I can delete the playlist files again, and start the process over again (resulting in the same: CMS crashes and I have corrupted playlists.)

  • HT1766 Recently updated my iPhone 4s to the iOS 6. Now I can not install application updates, my music library has vanished, iTunes Match (in Settings) keeps setting itself to "Off".

I recently updated my iPhone 4s to the iOS 6. Now I can not install application updates, my music library has vanished, iTunes Match (in Settings) keeps setting itself to "Off". I have also logged off of iTunes in Settings, and it will not let me log back in. Just a few moments ago when I again tried to log into iTunes, it asked me for my Password, then replyed that I had no Match account; but I do. Is Restore the best option?
    Any suggestions

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more.  And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should.  On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much.  I will post a note in the app store to let them know.  I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again.

  • Is it possible to burn music to thumb drive?

Is it possible to burn music to thumb drive?

    Jaywalt,
Adding files to a thumb drive does not require burning, only copying.
The easiest way is to insert the drive into a USB port,  highlight the tracks you want in iTunes, and then drag them to the thumb drive.
If you normally run iTunes in full screen mode, make it smaller so that you can do the drag.

Fixed. /Users/x/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/AirKeysInputManager.bundle got corrupted by a badly installed safari extension. Deleting this, then reinstalling adobe air did the trick. I wasn't thorough enough on my first try, it was tricky to find everything associated. I had to look for files in the console log then search for them. Spotlight was missing some deep files, EasyFind worked better for me.

  • Burning music to CD

    Hi all,
I used iTunes to burn three songs onto a CD and I did it twice with two different brands of CDs. After burning, I even opened the CD to make sure that the music burned and played (I even tried it on WinMedia Player). The problem happens after I take the CD out. When I put it back in, nothing shows on the disk drive - as if I never burned anything. Even iTunes won't recognize the cd. please help!
    Thanks!

You can't burn from a playlist on an iPod, if the songs aren't on your computer you have to copy them back to iTunes and burn your playlist from there. If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod to a computer
The transfer of content from other sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. You can read reviews of some of them here: Wired News - Rescue Your Stranded Tunes
    TuneJack Windows Only
    iPod2PC Windows Only
    iGadget Windows Only
    iDump Windows Only
    SharePod Windows Only
    iRepo Mac and Windows
    iPodRip Mac & Windows
    YamiPod Mac and Windows
    Music Rescue Mac & Windows
    iPodCopy Mac and Windows
There is also a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows or a Mac. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available at this link: Two-way Street: Moving Music Off the iPod

  • HT1349 I am trying to burn music to a CD - message says:  unable to locate the original file and will not burn the playlist.  Is there a setting that I must change.  ?

I am trying to burn music to a CD-R-  message says:  unable to locate the original file.   Music is on the iTunes program but will not play or burn.  Is there something I should change to be able to burn to CD?

If they were songs you purchased from itunes, try redownloading them from your purchases...
if that doednt work, make sure the optuon to copy files to itunes media folder is checked in settings, then find and download from the net. and re-add them to your library

  • Burning music CDs without toast

I'd like to burn a copy of a music CD without the music converting to MP3 format. My understanding is that if I burn a CD using iTunes, the music automatically converts to MP3 format. Is there another way of burning CDs without converting it to MP3 format without purchasing Toast or another such program? Is there already Toast-like software on my computer (an iMac G5 purchased in January) which I am unaware of which would avoid this MP3 problem? Many thanks.

Just to expand on that a tad, to use itunes, you will need to import the tracks from the cd, then create a playlist with those tracks and burn the disc.
Check your itunes preferences under "importing" and "burning". Set the importing to "Aiff", and the burning to "Audio cd". That way there is no quality loss. You could import as an mp3 also to save disk space if needed, and itunes will convert them during the burning process if the preference is set to "audio cd".
