Best Price Set to Zero on Auction

Question

Hello Guys:
Currently I have the following issue on my SRM Server(5.5) system:
When you create a Bid Invitation where a Bidder did not Bid for one or more items and then you convert this Bid Invitation to an Auction the system sets the Best bid price on the Auction to zero for all the items where the bidder did not create a Bid, this hapens even if you set the rejected flag on these items before you create the Auction.
For example:
1.- Create a Bid Invitation with "N" items (for example 3 items): 2.- Invite 3 Bidders and publish the bid invitation. 3.- For each Bidders create a bid, lets say the Bids are the following:
Bid 1 (Bidder 1): Item 1:$10 Item 2:$20 Item 3: 0$ (Item 3 Rejected).
Bid 2 (Bidder 2): Item 1:$20 Item 2: 0$ (Item 2 Rejected) Item 3: $30
Bid 3 (Bidder 3): Item 1:$5 Item 2: 10 Item 3: $20
4.- Convert the bid invitation to an Auction and execute it.
5.- On LAC the Best Price looks like this: Best Price Item 1= $5, Best Price Item 2 = $0, Best Price Item 3 = $0.
this situation prevents the bidders to bit for items 2 and 3.
Does anyone have any about the reason of this behavior??

Hi,
I am not sure that I fully understand your requirement?
To see the last price paid is easy enough, it is on the info record. But you say that you want to see it in the Net price, on the info record?
This is not possible, the last price paid is ONLY stored for historical data purposes or to suggest on the next PO if no net price has been maintained.
If you want to get the system to default the last price paid into the PO net price filed, you need to use the EVO parameter. (SPRO - MM> Purchasing > Environment data > Define default values for buyers.
Choose an entry that has the correct flags (there is a price adoption tab that has the field you are looking for). If no entry has the right flags then create one.
Then allocate the selected entry to the user record parameters (EVO). Be careful, the system is case sensitive for these parameters so it is best to use numbers for the key instead of alpha characters.
That should cause the last price paid to be proposed in the next PO.
But this may not be what you are asking for, let me know.
