BI Authorization problem query in web

Hello Guru,
i have authorization problems to execute query on the Web.
When i try to execute query on web i have these messages:
- Missing display authorization msg R9 108
- Missing authorization to execute query msg R9 108
- User doesn't have authorization for selected component
Component selected can not be executed
Contact person responsible for the authorizations if user need authorization to execute this component
Function is checked with object "Business explorer - components" with these fields:
    - InfoCube ZSD_007
    - Component type ERP
    - Component ZTEST_SD_007
    - Activity 16
Message number BRAIN 800
In BI i have add to my usere all these profiles and role, but the problem still again:
Profiles:
SAP_ALL
S_A.SYSTEM               System administrator (Superuser)
S_RS_ADMWB_A        All Administrator Workbench Authorizations
S_RS_EXPL_A             All Business Explorer Authorizations
T-BS590005                  Profile for role Z_RS_RREPU
T-BS590006                  Profile for role Z_RS_RREDE
Roles:
SAP_BW_CFO_ADMIN
Z_RS_RREDE   (copy from template RS_RREDE)
Z_RS_RREPU   (copy from template RS_RREPU)
I can not understand if this problem is related to BI authorization or maybe something in Netweaver

i can execute query from transaction RSRT, anyway also from this transaction when select "ABAP WEB" , web page is open but i have same authorizations problem.
In transaction SU53 seems everithing correct (i have all authorizations) .... this is probably becouse my problem is in Portal or netweaver side and not in BI ???
any suggestion?

You need to assign two objects for authorizing web templates and query..
S_RS_COMP AND S_RS_COMP1... in both these object you need to assign appropriate roles and activities.
S_RS_MPRO object to assign authorization to MP.

Problem in a Web Intelligence Rich Client Query

Hi all,
I'm facing a problem when i tried to create a query in WebI.
I'm using a BI 7.1 Query as source of my Universe.
My problems beggin when I put all the objects that I need in the query.
The object "Date" that should be my 0Calday, came as "01/01/1970".
I fixed that on the Universe setting the object as "Date/Time" Category.
I thought that my problems are all gone, but when i tried to compare the values on the Query with those in BI, they do not mach.
So i think that there is something wrong with the object "Date".
I still have another problem.
The object that i put in the line of my query is "LQPOSIT" Liquidity Item, that shows more than one line to a single Liquidity Item and I need a single line to a single Liquidity Item.
Anyone can help me?

Ok, date problem solved.
My second problem happens when I insert the Liquidity Item dimension (101) in the report lines. I need each Liquidity Item to be shown in a line, but what is actually happening now is that, if there are numerous input on the source for the same Liquidity Item in the same day, a lot of lines are created with the same Liquidity Item and I need these numerous lines to be merged into only one per Liquidity Item.
For instance:

Now that the date problem is solved, I am facing another issue. Putting the query in a cross reference format, where in the lines I have the Liquidity Items and in the colums I have the days in a row, the cells are filled by the transacted value. However, the values present in the lines don't match the ones in the BI. Does anybody know how I can solve that?

Error while running a Query on webi

Hi Folks
I just installed a BOBJ edge standard 3.1 and trying to configure and test it the very first time, I have following issues if you can advise the solution., I would really appreciate.
1. when i try to create a test query on Webi Rich Client and and run query, I get the follow messge:
A databse error occured. The database error text is : [Microsoft] [ODBC Microsoft access driver] could not use (unknown);
file already in use (WIS 10901)
2. The other issue I have is that when i create a test query on the webi (infoview side) and try to run the query I dont see any result like column, rown or fields, all I see is a solid yellow block which I believe is because of kmissing Java connector. can you guys pls let me know if this is the reason I dont see the report or Is there any other reason for that.
I would appreciate your help on this.

What type of database did you build your universe on? Access? SQL Server? or other? You would need to go into the universe you are trying to use for the report go into File, Parameters, and see what your connection is, and while you're there, click "test" to be sure it is working. If not, that is your problem. If it is, but the report still is not working, either way, you will need to go into Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Data Sources (ODBC) and set up a system DSN that links to the correct database. Again test it to be sure it works. Then make sure the universe has a connection that uses this same DSN. The report should run.

Authorization problem when using the Transaction Launcher

Hi All,
We have an authorization problem when we call a transaction (EL37) in ECC from the IC Web Client.
We believe that we have done all the necessary customizing in CRM and when we press the link in the Navigation Bar we are asked to logon to our ECC system. After logging on, we get an error message saying that "You do not have authorization for transaction EL37". If I then enter the transaction directly in the white command field in top of the ECC screen, then I have no problem calling the transaction.
My user has SAP_ALL, so it shouldn't be a problem with the authorizations. Maybe it has something to do with the transaction IC_LTXE? I have also tried to add this transaction to my user profile, but that didn't help.
Does anyone have a suggestion for how to fix this problem?

I have found the solution for the problem myself. The transation code in the Transation Launcher Wizard must be written in capitals! We had entered 'el37' and have now changed it to 'EL37'.

Use the web api reset_data_provider as links or in select option in HTML.
   Onchange event of this select option should call JAVASCRIPT method and
   this in turn resets the current dataprovider to your concerned one.
   How to change graphs:
   The graph item has the default data provider:

Getting SQL*Net more data from client waits when running a query through web based interface

Hi, you all,
We are having this weird behavior when running query through web based interface, we get a lot of "SQL*Net more data from client" waits, the OEM indicates that the current wait event is SQL*Net more data from client
It's just a very simple query wich invokes a db link.
When I execute the same query on any PL/SQL tool like toad or sql developer it works fine, but that query inside an application executed through a web based interface, it hangs for ever.
Where can I start looking for the problem.
We are working on a 3 Node RAC 11gr2, both databases are on the same RAC.

we managed to reproduce the case in test environment, below are the steps:
1)have 2 databases on different machines, will call the first one local, the other one remote.
2)in the local database create:
a - DBLink to remote database.
b - read data from remote database(we simply used select count(*) from dummy_table )
c - insert data into a table on the local database
d - terminate the connection between the 2 databases (disconnect either machine from the network)
e - commit on local database.
what we noticed was the following:
1)when the local database is disconnected from the network(the machine is not connected to any network at the moment): almost immediately throws an error, and issuing the following:
select * from dba_2pc_pending;we found some data .
2) when the remote database was disconnected(the local database is still connected to the network):
after 7-8 seconds an error is thrown, and issuing the following:
select * from dba_2pc_pending;did not return any data.
since this is pretty similar to our case ,we concluded that it's a network issue.
is this the correct behavior ?
as a temporary solution till the network issue is fixed ,we did the following:
1) changed the call of the remote procedure to calling a local procedure that calls the remote procedure.
2) added pragma autonomous_transaction to the local procedure.
3) at the end of the local procedure rollback the autonomous transaction.
it seems that since the global transaction does not use the DBLink database does not issue a 2PC commit.
this works in my cases since the DBLink is only issed to read data.

Initial selection screen missing when execting a query via web

Hello all.
We have a problem when we try to execute a query in web. We developped queries via query designer and we published all in a role. By doing it system generates a link that makes possible to execte this query via web. The issue is that sometimes the initial selection screen doesn´t appear (and the variables are "ready to input".
Could anybody help me?

In the WAD properties of the webtemplate.. carefully look for 'Force Variable Screen' Check that option..
Save and rerun the same.. it should be able to see the screen after that..

I have a role containing authorization for company code. The role contains several queries.
Some of the queries contain authorization variable of company code but some are not restricted by any authorization.
When I run the queries that are not restricted by authorizations I get an error: User is not authorized

The first is the authorization structure. The main authorization structure includes:
Characteristics and Attribute Navigational are relevant authorization, as 0COMP_CODE.
Roles, where are included authorization object to execute queries as S_RS_COMP, S_RS_COMP1, S_RFC and S_TCODE. In field of S_RS_COMP and S_RS_COMP1 is very important include the right technical name of the queries. Furthermore, add the S_RS_AUTH authorization object to join an analysis authorization.
Analysis Authorization, where are included each characteristic and attribute navigational relevant authorization with specific value, as: u201C*u201D full access, u201C:u201D aggregate value, single value, range value or node of hierarchy.
Query, where are include in some cases the characteristic relevant authorization with its variable authorization.
InfoProvider, where are contain characteristic an attribute navigational relevant authorization.
Regarding your Error:
from RESCADMIN:

I suggest you, to try the following action:
Query, in some queries where you havenu2019t included the characteristic 0COMP_CODE in the row. Put in the default value the characteristic 0COMP_CODE with its variable authorization, not ready for entry and optional.
Analysis authorization, you should add all of characteristic and attribute navigational relevant authorization available in the InfoProvider. Must be matching characteristic and navigational attribute relevant authorization, between analysis authorization and InfoProvider.
Try to include in your analysis authorization the u201C:u201D value.
Furthermore, try you execute tcode RSUDO, then RSECPROT you can get more information about your authorization system behavior. The first transaction is to execute a query with other user (select u201Cwith error logu201D), and the second is to display the error log.

Regarding the authorization system in BI 2004s, you have two levels. First, you restrict access by object (authorization object, mange through tcode: pfcg); second, you restrict access by characteristic and navigational attribute values (analysis authorizacion, manage through tcode: rsecadmin).
If BW 3.5 it works good, the problem must be in the reporting authorization object 3.5, now analysis authorization in 7.0. Because the authorizations object has the same behaviour in both versions.
According explanation give above, you should be focus in the analysis authorization, but I need more details. For example the User A and User B what do they do?, they can create query, or only execute query. In case of, they only need execute query and display data. The authorization by focus in analysis authorization, and we need have to check, the query structure, and what characteristics (0MATERIAL, 0COMP_CODE, 0CUSTOMER) in InfoProvider are joined and which characteristic are relevant of authorization.
For example, in your scenario, you need that user A should display 0MATERIAL value,
In this case you need to create an analysis authorization (through tcode: RSECAUTH), where have to the following design:
0MATERIAL: specific values that you need
0COMP_CODE: u201C:u201D aggregate value
0CUSTOMER: u201C:u201D aggregate value
For the user B, the design must be:
0MATERIAL: u201C:u201D aggregate value
0COMP_CODE: specific values that you need
0CUSTOMER: specific values that you need

Variance Scaling in Query and Web Template Showing Different Results

Hi experts,
I have the following problem - variance scaling in my query and web template are showing different results.
My variance in column is set as follows:
Formula: NODIM(A % B)
Scaling Factor: 1
I have a structure in row that uses Scaling Factor of 1,000.
Let say the value of Column A is 120 and Column B is 100.
When I execute the query, it will show 0.02
However, when I execute the web template it will show the correct scaling i.e. 20.
May I know what can I do to correct above scaling error?

You can not remove the scalling factor, but once you check the checkbox below the dropdown menu, the scalling factor will go away.
I checked at my end and when I set the scalling fact as 1, I was getting 9.9% while I was expecting 9900%. When I removed the scalling factor I started getting 9900%.
I would let you know if I came across anything else.
What about the unit of Column A and B. Are they same or different?

Problems creating a web service that uses the report generation toolkit

Hi,
Im trying to develop a web service using labview 2013.
I create a html form that is correctly communicating with my labview method and part of the web service functionality is to create a report from the data obtained in the html form published.
I realized that using the report generation toolkit inside of the web service method the server cannot generate a report. ( If I run the same Vi before publishing the web service it works on the server but it doesnt work after I deploy it)
I thought that maybe Im unable to use the report generation toolkit VIs inside of the web service because Im not incluiding the (dynamic VIs labview uses when they run), I tried to add the excel dynamic library to the proyect but with no success.
I also tried to use VI SERVER to call a VI that generates the report using the report generation toolkit in the method that runs when the web service is call but it doesnt work either.
How can I deploy a web service able to use the report generation toolkit ?, how can I deploy a web service able to use VI server ?
Any help is really appreciated.

The issue you are running into is actually a limitation intended by Microsoft. They don't want windows services to be able to call into the ActiveX interface for Microsoft Office for security reasons. If you are deploying your web service to the NI Application Web Server on Windows you will run into this problem since the web server is a Windows Service.
While I haven't tested this, you may be able to work around this by packaging your Web service with a LabVIEW EXE rather than deploying to the NI Application Web server.

I googled, but cannot find anything on the query with web service. I cannot find a "Named Criteria" in web service data control like normal data control.
