Bill increase AGAIN!!!

My bill has increased 189% in the last 41 months!
From $63.38 in March 2013 to $120.32 this bill (Aug 2015).
That's almost doubled for the same package (Blast Plus).Actually less channels (a few were dropped in the package by Comcast), same speed, same package plan!I'm headed down to the local office and having them disconnect.
Going with Century Link and a digital antenna. I'm done with Comcast!

    Your other computers must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed. You open App Store and sign in using the same Apple ID used to purchase Lion. Click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of the entry for your Lion purchase.
    Here's a tip:
    Make Your Own Lion Installer
    1. After downloading Lion you must first save the Install Mac OS X Lion application. After Lion downloads DO NOT click on the Install button. Go to your Applications folder and make a copy of the Lion installer. Move the copy into your Downloads folder. Now you can click on the Install button. You must do this because the installer deletes itself automatically when it finishes installing Lion.
    2. Get a USB flash drive that is at least 8 GBs. Prep this flash drive as follows:
    Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
    After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  SMART info will not be reported  on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
    Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
    Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
    Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
    3. Locate the saved Lion installer in your Downloads folder. CTRL- or RIGHT-click on the installer and select Show Package Contents from the contextual menu. Double-click on the Contents folder to open it. Double-click on the SharedSupport folder. In this folder you will see a disc image named InstallESD.dmg.
    4. Plug in your freshly prepared USB flash drive. You are going to clone the InstallESD.dmg disc image to the flash drive as follows:
    Open Disk Utility.
    Select the USB flash drive from the left side list.
    Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
    Check the box labeled Erase destination.
    Select the USB flash drive volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
    Drag the InstallESD.dmg disc image file into the Source entry field.
    Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
    When the clone is completed you have a fully bootable Lion installer that  you can use without having to re-download Lion.

    Try the following steps,
    Sign into your computer and removal of credit card information. Here are the steps:
    1) Open iTunes and sign in to the iTunes Store.
    2) Select "View My Account" from the Store menu.
    3) Enter your password and click the View Account button.
    4) Click the Edit Payment Information button.
    5) Select "None" as the payment type.
    6) Click the Done button at the bottom of the page.

    Download a free content on to get recognized in iTunes.
    To ensure your account is functioning, try downloading a free item from the iTunes Store. To do this, navigate to the iTunes Store main page by clicking the Home icon near the upper-left corner of the window. Scroll down and click the "FREE ON iTunes" link near the bottom of the main page, then select an item to download.
    After you are able to download the free App try updating the billing information as usual.

  • My Bill Increased, Promised it would go back down by representative

    I called last month when my bill jumped up $40. I talked to a representative who was very nice and told me my bill was able to go back down to what I was paying. I go and look at my bill for this month and it is $30 higher than she told me it would be. This is very frustrating and I am to the point if my bill will not be what you say it is, I just need to cancel my services. This is very frustrating because I cannot afford the increase. If you say you are going to do something, you should at least stick to it.

    07/11/15 My bill increased for extended basic cable is $93.  I've been a member for 10+ years and pay bill regularly each month.  I can afford $40.00-$50.00 for the bill and have called and representative said because I was receiving $10.00 month credit on my account every month that I am not eligible for additional discount.  What???? I am writing requesting discount  so that the maximum of the cable service monthly bill to be reduced to $45.00.  Thank you for your review and consideration. Crystal Smith in Md.

    My bill increased $20 this month with no additional services, etc. We have continuing problems with the X1 system and now Conact wants another $20/month. I am actively looking at alternatives to their service.

    I had the same situation.  In December i signed a new 2 year contract with verizon, promising a 3 year price lock with a 2 year contract.  A also recieved a email from Verizon confirming the price for month 1, months 2-24 and month 24-36.   I just recieved a increase in my bill of 6 dollars for equiptment.  Verizon now states that equiptment is not covered by price guarantess and the e mail I received was only an estimate.  They are allowed to increase the price of equiptmentt whenever they want.

    I received my auto-pay notificaton that the bill for my services has gone up over $22. When I checked my statement, it gives me no clear explanation for the price increase.   • LogMeIn Central price increase - AGAIN!

    So we started with central back in 2013.  The "intro" price, I'm now being told I paid, was $200 for the year, unlimited machines. In 2014, we found out we were being charged $1500 for central as we're over 500 computers.  No notice, no heads up, nothing.  Found out by accident.  I called my rep (We used LMI rescue for probably 10 years now) and they offered to renew us for $500 for the year.  MANY MANY others online had the same situation, though many were just charged and asked questions later.  Never found anyone that received an email from LMI about the price increase. As our 2015 renewal approaches, we received an email from LMI letting us know of our renewal date.  No mention of price.  I replied back that we're not committing at this time as we're looking at other products due to pricing and how 2014 was handled.  Receive a call from the rep and as we're talking about price, she informs me we're already on a "promo" price.  This promo price is $1900 and change as we're at the 500-1000 machine level.  WHAT?!  What are you talking about?  I was told renewal would be $1500.  Oh no - we have new products, etc.  You're in the basic plan, which is $2500/year for 500-1000 machines, but we're giving you a promo of $1900 and change (If memory serves.) She insists we received an email (Just like all LMI central users) on 12/14.  No email.  Again.  This is the second year of this excuse. So - from 2013 to 2015, we'll be experiencing an 850%+ increase.  From 2013 to 2016, we'll experience an 1150% increase.  No new features we've used/experienced in this time. Remind me why I should renew with you?

If you have any questions regarding these changes or want to learn about pricing options and discounts on other Central packages, please contact Customer Support. I was actually considering keeping the LogMeIn Central and my Pro machine.  That's around $365 for something I use maybe once or twice a month.  With them changing products and pricing and NOT NOTIFYING ME, except by way of an innocent looking banner when I logged-in today, I'm sorry, but I can't help but be totally offended by their actions.  Some other guy posted that he has 95 computers and they wanted to charge him *LESS* than me, and he was outraged.  I've had my house burglarized before.  At least those when those theives hit, I knew it happened.  These guys have my credit card - this is more like a drive-by shooting - wouldn't have even known until i got hit with the bill.  Who's running this company, the mafia?

    I have had comcast cable and internet since April, 2014.I did not change anything.In JUne, 2015, comcast bill went UP from $99 month to $111 month.Again, no changes, not part of special or promotional -- In July, 2015, comcast monthly bill is now $126.xx. This increase is a breach of the contract I have and it seems they usually do this as this is one of the common complaints (other than being the most revieled company in the whole country) about COMCAST. I geuss I will cancell service and go with the competitors (even though I was a happy, more or less customer). I am contacting my Senator and Representative, as well the the FCC to complain.(I but things and this is the ONLY COMPANY that raises prices at will for the sameservice they provided last month). No wonder everyone hates comcast.     My bill for standard/on-going monthly services has jumped $60 in a single month.  
    Below is a copy/paste directly from my Verizon Account page.  As you can see, my monthly payment for services rendered has averaged in the $220's going back to Jan 2013. My on-line bill for the current monthly charges is $284.05.  Please clarify 
    BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOUR REVIEW, PLEASE NOTE:  My payments over the last 5 or 6 months do not match the monthly billed charges because there have been multiple charges billed in error to our account that I have been disputing  going back to April.  Verizon just recently approved removal all of the disputed charges and I received email confirmations showing the refunds were posted to my account.   I have been deducting the disputed amounts before I paid my monthly bill, so the amounts below are an accurate average of our monthly services.  The rep who called me to process the refunds indicated she would call me back in a few days to give me the correct total amount due on my account after all refunds had processed. I have yet to receive that call-back.
    CURRENT ISSUE:  I am trying to pay my correct charges in full now that all of the incorrectly billed charges have been removed/refunded.  In order to do that  ....
    -  I am requesting a detailed account of the the $50 increase in the current month's bill
    ... AND ...
    -  I am requesting confirmation of the total amount due to date on my account AFTER the refunds have been removed.  .

  • Billing error again! Come on Orange, sort it out....

    What do i have to do to get my bill correct?  I am pig sick of Orange and their promises to put things right. Even the escalations team have managed to mess it up! I have had an Orange account for years and years and in April gave notice (under police advisement) on the second line which was on a 30 days rolling account.  I was given a termination date of 29th May and told I would be billed up until then.  I've now had my July bill and guess what, I'm still being charged for it, and now I'm getting non direct debit fee charges even thought Orange cancelled by direct debit because of their error!  I wouldn't mind but I paid for the first line early by debit card! I've also now had my online account access suspended due to my account being 'overdue' although this debit balance should have been credited by Orange. What do i have to do to get this sorted out.....I am sick and tired of having to chase by email or telephone to get another promise and another incorrect bill. Come on Orange, sort it out before you lose a long standing customer.

    Well, you can ask them for it. However, with the experience I've gained contacting iTunes Customer Support, I'm not sure they will give you a full refund. As much as I understood, the problem is located on a single episode, so I don't know why would you receive refund for other 5 episodes. But add this info on the report and you might have luck.
    Actually, I was having difficulties in seeing those spelling errors, once I was searching it on the US iTunes Store.

    That's odd, because the same problem appears to be on the US iTunes Store, but with different albums. I would also add this problem to your report (if you want so).
