My Bill Increased, Promised it would go back down by representative
I called last month when my bill jumped up $40. I talked to a representative who was very nice and told me my bill was able to go back down to what I was paying. I go and look at my bill for this month and it is $30 higher than she told me it would be. This is very frustrating and I am to the point if my bill will not be what you say it is, I just need to cancel my services. This is very frustrating because I cannot afford the increase. If you say you are going to do something, you should at least stick to it.
07/11/15 My bill increased for extended basic cable is $93. I've been a member for 10+ years and pay bill regularly each month. I can afford $40.00-$50.00 for the bill and have called and representative said because I was receiving $10.00 month credit on my account every month that I am not eligible for additional discount. What???? I am writing requesting discount so that the maximum of the cable service monthly bill to be reduced to $45.00. Thank you for your review and consideration. Crystal Smith in Md.

To make a long story short my wife called early in September about adding our oldest daughter back to our plan. She spoke with a representative by the name of Devin who told her that our bill would NOT go up but instead would go down automatically once we moved to a plan with 10Gb and that the bill would be approximately $225-235 per month for the 5 lines.
September 15th before adding my daughter we called again to verify the charges and finding out what we had to do to add her back. This representative also told me the bill would be $235 per month but couldn't explain why - she did see that it was in the notes. I was also was told that it was best to add her the night after her employer plan stopped covering her phone.
September 18th before adding her we called to find out what we had to do to add her back. This rep repeated what the others had said about the upcoming monthly charges.
The following Monday or Tuesday I called and talked with yet another representative trying to discover what was the reason for the bill dropping so significantly. The lady I spoke with indicated that we were to get a $22 (NOT $25) discount per line. I know its an odd figure thats why I remember it.
Sep 26th - called and spoke with representative who told me that we woud NOT be getting any discounts. I then spoke with a supervisor (Derrick) who explained that we should have already been getting $25 off for two of the lines and gave us credit for 1 month charges but nothing else. I asked him to pull the recordings - he said give him a week to investigate and make it right.
Oct 3rd - a week later - Derrick missed the callback.
Oct 4th - called and was advised that they had no way to get in touch with Derrick other than sending a message (I have to admit the gentleman was extremely pleasant - one of the better reps I've encountered) - said as much to his supervisor.
Oct 11th - talked with Priscilla and then her supervisor who said that one of the reps was her employee - would talk with her/pull the recording and call me back in an hour. She never called back.
We never asked for any discount - it was a Verizon employee that told my wife that the bill would go down to $230. Not once but 4 different times. Two supervisors promised they would pull the recordings and call us back but never did.
I'm not stupid - If the recordings proved that we made this up or that Verizon had NOT told us that the bill would go down to $230 then they
would have called back and rubbed it in my face. By them not calling back I know that they have discovered that we have stated the facts as
accurately as we can remember and have not made this up.
Is there anyone at Verizon that can resolve this situation to our satisfaction? There's a lot of difference between the promised $110 discount and the $50 indicated by Derrick.Don't worry you will not hear back if it's anything like my last few interaction with this company good luck. Oh you may have one of these online CSR tell you they are here to help but that just a smoke screen.

My bill increased $20 this month with no additional services, etc. We have continuing problems with the X1 system and now Conact wants another $20/month. I am actively looking at alternatives to their service.
I had the same situation. In December i signed a new 2 year contract with verizon, promising a 3 year price lock with a 2 year contract. A also recieved a email from Verizon confirming the price for month 1, months 2-24 and month 24-36. I just recieved a increase in my bill of 6 dollars for equiptment. Verizon now states that equiptment is not covered by price guarantess and the e mail I received was only an estimate. They are allowed to increase the price of equiptmentt whenever they want.

GauravBack date means how many months should be predated ?? You should be aware, you can post a document in SAP one month prior to current month but not before that. For example, now we are in August and you can post a document for July and not for June'10.
Apart from this, you need to have back dated stock in SAP to invoice and the periods (MM & FI) should be open for previous month.

My hard disk has been damaged for about 4 months now. When I ran the disk repair under disk utility, it told me to back my files and send it in for repairs. My problem is that I had a external hard drive, but I lost it, so I obviously can't back up my files. Also I tried using other external hard drives and that didn't work, pretty sure it was because they were not formatted for a mac. So my question is that if I send my computer to Apple, for repair, that would they back up my files there before repairing my computer. It could be a dumb question but at least I asked. Also my mouse pad no longer works. The "clickability" of it stopped about 3 months or so after getting the computer and just around last Christmas the mouse would not click anymore at all, it would move if one put there fingers on the mousepad but it would not "touch click" anymore. So yeah, help!
And the OS X was still a snow leopard, not sure the number of the OS.Can't you just get another external drive, format it for Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and backup some if not all of your files? Apple's not in the data recovery business. You should have maintained a backup and now it might be too late. Your best bet would probably be just to call it a loss and buy both an internal, to put in your machine, and an external, for backup purposes. You can boot from your installer disc, format the 'new' internal and begin restoring your apps at least.
I'll never understand why some people don't have backups. Drives fail. It's best to have redundant backups so that all three or four drives don't all fail at once.
Sheesh - I know that I'm not helping your problem but maybe now you've learned your lesson and others will as well.

my iphone 4 would not back-up to to pc "because an error occurred" anyone offer any solutions to this, I want to restore my phone to factory settings and reinstall my data but cannot back up first. Try 1 step at a time and do a backup, if no joy then do the next step:
1. Switching off your anti-virus and firewall.
2. Computer iTunes menu > Edit > Preferences... > Devices > delete your backup -

If you have backed up previously to iTunes on a specific computer, even if it has been a while, you may be able to still backup even if you are unable enter the passcode on your iPhone due to a damaged screen. You may find the following article helpful:
If you have previously synced your device with iTunes, you may be able to reset the passcode by restoring the device:
Connect the device to the computer with which you normally sync and open iTunes.
Note: If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer" section below.
If the device is still disabled, or if iTunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with iTunes.
When the backup and sync is complete, restore your device.
When iOS Setup Assistant asks to set up your device, choose "Restore from iTunes backup".
Select your device in iTunes and choose the most recent backup of your device.

MAC OSX 10.5.8 and 2TB Time Machine would not back up. Saw discussion that suggested you change name without apostrophes etc. Went into Time Machine and did a manula backup without a name and it appears to be backing up now. Does this remove delete the old backup's ?

The iPad is looking for a 4 digit passcode that you used to lock the device. Did you set a 4 digit code when you set up your iPad? You need to enter that code in order to unlock it. If you don't know the code, you will have to restore the iPad in order to unlock it.

Bill Increase with No Explanation
I received my auto-pay notificaton that the bill for my services has gone up over $22. When I checked my statement, it gives me no clear explanation for the price increase. It is confusing and also incredibly frustrating to see my bill increase by nearly 50% with no clear explanation. It seems to be an incredibly high amount to pay for basic Internet services.
HD Preferred XF Bundle increased $ 25.00 per month without notification. I do need an explanation, after all it is my money I send to Comcast.
