BizTalk Architecture using ESB for High Performance for 10000 requests per minute

Hi All,
I need to design an architecture for BizTalk ESB for high performance.
We are expecting 10000 requests per minute at peak time.
There is no much business logic but rather messaging scenarios.
Please suggest.

vikingsss

Thanks Johns,
When I said Clone, I meant We will have 2 BizTalk Nodes, Application deployed on Both just to balance the Load using F5 Load balancer.
And Yes I have considered the SQL Clustering, but is my idea regarding this is correct if I say:
One Cluster 1 Node 1 Message Box will sit
On Cluster 2 Node 1 Other BizTalk DB's will sit
In case of failure on Cluster 1 Node 1(Message box) It will failover to Cluster 1 Node 2
In case of any other failure on Cluster 2 Node 1 (Other DB's) it will failover to Cluster 2 Node 2

  • Bug in Presentation services - using cookies for GET requests

    Hi,
I am implementing OBIEE bridge to integrate report in to 3rd party web applications.
I am creating page using the following syntax:
    *string pageId = htmlViewService.startPage(new StartPageParams() { dontUseHttpCookies = true }, sessionId);*
Even though its clearly stated not to use Cookies, my guess is that below request is failing because it is expecting cookies:
    http://localhost/Bridge?RedirectURL=saw.dll%2fuicomponents/common/common.xml?fmapId=KqIJCw
    returns with the response
    OBIPSNotLoggedIn
I have tried to inject all headers and all cookies in the request, but its not helping. Can someone help me in this?
I will really appreciate any help.
    Thanks!

Irrespective of building EVALUATE expression (using constant only) in the RPD BMM logical column or just in Answers there are some rules:
    1. RPD/Answers
If you want to query just EVALUATE expression without some other column then this is must do (example):
    Column1:
case when 1=2 then PRODUCTS.PROD_CATEGORY else EVALUATE('TO_CHAR(%1)' as char, 100) end
Evaluate is using only constant. We place presentation attribute inside the case to make navigator to handle this request.
    2. Answers
You can use only EVALUATE('TO_CHAR(%1)' as char, 100) in the Answers column expression but only in combination with another presentation attribute, cannot have only EVALUATE('TO_CHAR(%1)' as char, 100) in the request.
    Column1: PRODUCTS.PROD_CATEGORY
    Column2: EVALUATE('TO_CHAR(%1)' as char, 100)

  • I recently bought a 13" Mac Book Pro i7 dual core processor and everything was just fine until now. I have been using iMovie for about a month and it runs perfectly, but now I can't seem to use it for more than 20 minutes without iMovie crashing. Help?

When iMovie crashes it also makes my compute very slow and unpleasant to use. Has anyone else had this problem before? Should I take my laptop to the genius bar? I owned this computer for over a month now.

check out this link which answers your question http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1242
after re reading your post, I think you need an SMC reset instead: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
what does activity monitor show? screenshots?

  • When making a phone call on my Samsung Galaxy s5, I need to use letters for some requests.  How is that done?

When I made a recent phone call on my Samsung Galaxy s5, I was ask to enter a password, but my password includes a letter.  How to I change the keyboard to use a letter also?

Good evening Litespeed! Let's get those letters on your calls pronto! When a password is requested and you need to enter a letter, simply select the number corresponding to the letter you want to enter. Keep us posted.

  • My macbook has recently started getting really hot after using it for a brief time, is there something wrong

    Hi
My macbook has started getting really hot after using it for only maybe 10 minutes or so, it can go up to 73 degrees quite quickly, I am only surfing the net etc but have a few pages open at the same time.
Also should I switch it off after I finish using it or is it ok to leave it in sleep mode for long periods of time......
it is about 1 year old
    thanks

    First try a SMC reset:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
If there is no change, install istat menus:
    http://bjango.com/mac/istatmenus/
Open Activity Monitor to ALL PROCESSES and %CPU to display values from high to low.
Look for a process that consumes a large % of CPU.
You may post images of both for inspection.
    Ciao.

  • Returning a SharePoint 2013 termset in a tree structure using JavaScript for MultiLingual

    Hi,
How do we get the path of term,if my term label is in some other locale, lets say for Spanish but using currentTerm.get_pathOfTerm() property it returns default path of my term store, i.e English.
But i need the path to use my values returned in Spanish ???
Do we have any idea how to achieve this. ??
    Regards,
    Avinash

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to get term path using JavaScript for MultiLingual.
    Per my knowledge,
SP.Taxonomy.Term.pathOfTerm property (sp.taxonomy) gets the path for this
    Term in the
    TermStore default language.
To get path for MultiLingual, I recommend that you can use
    Term.GetPath method (Int32) which
gets the path for the current
    Term in the specified lcid.
If the lcid is not a valid TermStore language, then the default language is used.

  • Workflow and POWL integration for Travel Request / Approval

    HI,
We are on EHP7 and using POWL  for different kind of Approvals.
POWL is working good for Leave Approval and we have used Workflow Task ID as : TS12300097 / TS12300116, and all leave request appearing in POWL for manager and approving them.
Now we have to use POWL for Travel Request / Travel Expense approval and need to know what Task IDs I should use to configure this under SPRO.
Few tabs / links created like Travel Req Approval / Expense Approval / Claim Approval in POWL and need to show entries in respective tabs.
    Thanks

    HI
Is it required to run FPB_MAINTAIN_PERS_S / FPB_MAINTAIN_PERS_M to display Travel entries in POWL screen.
    2) Is it required to keep entries under "Assign Task IDs to POWL Types" in SPRO ???
    ex : MANAGER_MSS_INBOX    MSS_POWL_LEA_APPROVAL    TS12300097
I don;t see any difference in terms of functionality even If i delete above entry, may i know the necessity of having those entries ?

  • Looking for a high-performance and reliable NAS

    Hi,
I have been searching for a high-performance and reliable SOHO NAS storage but I have seen very mixed and contradicting reviews for the products I have looked at so far. From QNAP to Synology to etc.
However I've not found a good review for Promise SOHO NAS devices such NSx700 and NSx600.
Is anybody here using them? If so how would you rate these devices?
    Thanks in advance,
    Behrang

My g/f is using a Synology 1511+ with 2TB WB black drives - set up for 2 disk redundancy.

  • Performance issue in browsing SSAS cube using Excel for first time after cube refresh

    Hello Group Members,
This is a continuation of my earlier blog question -
    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/a1e424a2-f102-4165-a597-f464cf03ebb5/cache-and-performance-issue-in-browsing-ssas-cube-using-excel-for-first-time?forum=sqlanalysisservices
As that thread is marked as answer, but my issue is not resolved, I am creating a new thread.
I am facing a cache and performance issue for the first time when I try to open a SSAS cube connection using Excel (using Data tab  -> From Other Sources --> From Analysis Services) after daily cube refresh. In end users system (8 GB RAM but around
4GB available RAM), for the first time, it takes 10 minutes to open the cube. From next run onwards, its open up quickly within 10 secs.
We have daily ETL process running in high end servers. The configuration of dedicated SSAS cube server is 8 core, 64GB RAM. In total we have 4 cube DB - out of which for 3 is full cube refresh and 1 is incremental refresh. We have seen after daily cube
refresh, it takes 10 odd minutes to open the cube in end users system. From next time onwards, it opens up really fast with 10 secs. After cube refresh, in server systems (32 GB RAM, around 4GB available RAM), it takes 2 odd minutes to open the cube.
Is there, any way we could reduce the time taken for first attempt ?
As mentioned in my previous thread, we have already implemented a cube wraming cache. But, there is no improvement.
Currently, the cumulative size of the all 4 cube DB are more than 9 GB in Production and each cube DB having 4 individual cubes in average with highest cube DB size is 3.5 GB. Now, the question is how excel works with SSAS cube after
    daily cube refresh?
Is it Excel creates a cache of the schema and data after each time cube is refreshed and in doing so it need to download the cube schema in Excel's memory? Now to download the the schema and data of each cube database from server to client, it will take
a significant time based on the bandwidth of the network and connection.
Is it anyway dependent to client system RAM ? Today the bigest cube DB size is 3.5 GB, tomorrow it will be 5-6 GB. Now, though client system RAM is 8 GB, the available or free RAM would be around 4 GB. So, what will happen then ?
    Best Regards, Arka Mitra.

Could you run the following two DMV queries filling in the name of the cube you're connecting to. Then please post back the row count returned from each of them (by copying them into Excel and counting the rows).
I want to see if this is an issue I've run across before with thousands of dimension attributes and MDSCHEMA_CUBES performance.
    select [HIERARCHY_UNIQUE_NAME]
    from $system.mdschema_hierarchies
    where CUBE_NAME = 'YourCubeName'
    select [LEVEL_UNIQUE_NAME]
    from $system.mdschema_levels
    where CUBE_NAME = 'YourCubeName'
Also, what version of Analysis Services is it? If you connect Object Explorer in Management Studio to SSAS, what's the exact version number it says on the top server node?

  • Can i use "Oracle Database 12c: Performance Management and Tuning " training for getting certification on "Oracle Database 11g: Performance Tuning 1Z0-054"

i have taken "Oracle Database 12c: Performance Management and Tuning new" training from oracle university. Now i would like to get certified on "Oracle Database 11g: Performance Tuning 1Z0-054" exam. Is it possible ?

I essentially endorse and refer you to Matthews' and John's post above.
I would differ with slightly with Matthew because my guess is you would often be able to use like for like 12c training for an 11g certification ( I believe there are precedents).  BEFORE ANYONE ASKS THE OTHER WAY DOESN'T HAPPEN.
.... but totally concur with Matthew you would ill advised to procede on that basis without one of:
    - This being advertised as possible on the website : e.g. https://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=654&get_params=p_id:169 ... option 2 show courses.
    - Confirmation from Brandye
    - Confirmation from an Oracle Certification Support Web Ticket ( http://education.oracle.com/pls/eval-eddap-dcd/OU_SUPPORT_OCP.home?p_source=OCP )
... The more common (and in my opinion usually better) way would be get your 11g DBA OCP ( or higher first) and then take the 1z0-054.  I am almost certain they will accept your 12c course for the 11g DBA OCP.
If you are choosing the route of not being a 11g (or 12c ) DBA OCP first but are on option 2 and relying on the course for certification then the issue is more in the balance and you are even more strongly advised to get confirmation before proceding (remember if the rules need to be changed for you only then any profit out of the exam is lost).
In general my understanding is Oracle would prefer to encourage people to train on the latest version of product that is available for training  and will prefer to avoid restrictions which would cause you to train at a lower version.  ( This is simply my guess at Oracle University Policy ... personal opinion only).
Having said all I have said I'd encourage you to go with the advice of the earlier two posts.

  • What is the architecture used in BO XI R2 for....

<p>What is the appropriate architecture if I&#39;d like to use an Excel front-end, but use BO for my detailed reporting.</p><p>For example, I&#39;ll have a list of regions in Excel, from there I&#39;d like to offer the ability to LINK to BO (or a Crystal Viewer that instantiates a report or whatever) in some manner so that a report pops up quickly (doesn&#39;t need to refresh, re-run or re-schedule) and is filtered based on the link that I provided (passing the parameter in the URL).  </p><p>I&#39;d like it so my users don&#39;t have to re-login every time they click a link, although the first link I&#39;d expect they&#39;d need to login.</p><p>This is a high-level question, the nuances of the specific option I can figure out.</p><p>Thanks!</p><p>Jason <br /></p>

Is this a font in the user interface or on web pages?
You can right-click on a web page and select "Inspect Element" to open the Inspector (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer).
You can check the font used for selected text in the Font tab in the right pane of the Inspector.

  • Brightness unadjustable for "High Performance" in Switchable Graphics Card Technology

    Hello,
I have just transitioned to Windows 7 Professional on my Thinkpad R400(2787-A31)
However, after installing the Thinkpad Switchable Graphics Card driver, i am unable to adjust my brightness if i am using the High Performance mode. My laptop comes with ATi Radeon 3470 and Intel GMA 4500MHD.
I have already installed most of the drivers, and after some testing i realised that it was the switchable graphics driver that cause this problem. Before installation of this driver, i was on the ATi Radeon all the while and i can change the brightness.
I hope some one can help me with this driver issue. My installation of the drivers was from the support page. All except the PCI Simple Communications Controller has their drivers.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Rosemars,
Thank you very much for solving the problem.
The key solution lies with the BIOS update. For people who cannot get the tool to work(mine keep giving an error message), there's an alternativie BIOS update utility at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-70351
This is for R400 and T400s, for other models please select your model number at the Support page and find the utility.
    Cheers & Thumb Up!

  • Using SSD for BizTalk DB. Real-life experience

    Hi,
We are considering to use SSD disk for the MessageBox [and maybe other] database.
In theory it should increase speed of the BizTalk as a whole system.
Did anybody try it in real life scenarios? If so, what are the real numbers in performance?
What is the real danger of the SSD degradation over time? What is the reliability? What about HA, is it worth to use SSD for the HA on SQL level?
    Leonid Ganeline [BizTalk MVP]

    Hi Johns,
BizTalk is OLTP system, yes. But latency is an issue in my case. I need <100 msec latency for the MessageBox round trip for most cases. In some cases I need <10 msec.
And SSD is so cheap, we could replace burned disk each couple months, if we need. It would be still cheaper than good hard-drive subsystem.
And we tolerate some message lost. At last we use now the custom made HA solution and didn't find any problems with, no lost messages.

  • Good/robust/high performance solution for calling Java from C

    Hi,
I am looking for a good/robust/high performance solution for invoking a local java component from a C application in Windows.
    About Java component:
    - It has multiple methods that would be called very frequently from C application
    - It will reside in local machine. This machine may not have access to internet/LAN.
My preference is to implement this java component as indepent running exe and have C application make outprocess calls. Is this possible?
Any help/suggestions on this are greatly appreciated
    Thanks,
    -Arun

I will stop replying to this conversation, unless it
remains professional and without getting personal.I suggest you read your replies again then since you were the one that strayed from the topic and referred to my competency.
    >
Or conversely those that have been working with JNIfor close to 10 years >might have a different opinion
that someone who is promoting a commercial >product?
I cannot see anything wrong with sharing and letting
people know of potential solutions that might help to
solve their problems. Not a problem at all.
You however stated an absolute. I asked you to back up that absolute with something that was objective.
You then lashed out at me and questioned my competency.
    >
So you are questioning my competence as well as myintent?
And not bothering to address the question at all.
I am guessing you haven't actually attempted tocompare JNI to on board >sockets but instead you are
    just guessing.
Frankly, I don't see how a socket solution with
process switching overhead is going to work faster
than a direct method call, passing parameters over
the stack, the whole operation taking place
    in-process.
And thus, as I thought, you haven't actually attempted to compare the two.
And in terms of competency I can only wonder if youare competent enough
to write the test frameworks that would demonstrateone or the other.
As said earlier, there is no need to get personal,
    let's keep professional!
And as I said earlier I would suggest that you look to your own replies.
As mentioned, I do have enough experience for those
who need to interoperate with Java using JNI, and can
show how to do it in a safe and productive manner.
And as I have said for the third time now that has nothing to do with what I actually asked you.
The code that someone writes via JNI has much lessusage, and thus is much >more likely to have
problems. Even if someone is competent in creating
    JNI >and C code.
    Thus JNI Is less stable.
And by the way that includes the commercial productthat you are promoting >as well.
Expressing an opinion on a product just based on its
    underlying technology without proper evaluation
    doesn't sound like constructive criticism.
So you are claiming that your product is in fact more stable than the VM or at least as stable even though it has had far, far less usage?
The only thing that can be said about the product so
far, it that a product that is in production for some
years without any problems, has a certain level of
reliability and quality, whatever the underlying
technology might be, and that there is enough
competency with JNI to produce it and advice about
    the technology.
True. But you were the one that brought up unrelated issues and then, as best as I can tell, thought to challenge my knowledge by pointing out how VMs "really" work.

  • Why using workarea for internal table is better in performance

    Please tell me
why using workarea for internal table is better in performance

    Hi Vineet ,
Why would we choose to use an internal table without a header line when it is easier to code one  with a header line?
    it has following reason.
    1)Separate Internal Table Work Area:
The work area (staging area) defined for the internal table   is not limited to use with just one internal table.
    take ex-
Suppose you want two internal tables for EMPLOYEE – one to contain all records and one to contain only those records where country = ‘USA’.  You could create both of these internal tables without header lines and use only one work area to load data into both of them. You would append all records from the work area into the first internal table.  You would conditionally append the ‘USA’ records from the same work area into the second internal table.
    2)  Performance Issues:  Using an internal table without a header line is more efficient than one  with a header line
    3) Nested Internal Tables:  If you want to include an internal table within a structure or another   internal table, you must use one without a header line.
If this one is helpful ,then rewards me
