Biztalk edifact Issues

FTX04:01 in datatype is AN(simple Type).
Currently am validating the input message instace with schema.
When I am doing it am allowing ALLOW TRAILING set to True and rest of all is correct.
but here my doubt is when the value is 'test value #' (This is due to # symbol)
# : [21] Invalid character found
when the value is 'test value ' (This is due to the space at the end)
[37] Invalid character(s) found in data element
Actually datatype AN should allow these values right according to below link.

AN allows what your encoding allows. If you have a # in a string, just need at least UNOC as encoding:

I have defined the properties for that in below image.
c17402 datatype is EDIFACT_N, does it allow decimals?or could you please tell me where am making wrong?

You would need to change the EFactDelimiter to:
0x3A, 0x2B, 0x2E, 0x3F, 0x20, 0x27
instead of
0x3A, 0x2B, 0x2C, 0x3F, 0x20, 0x27

BizTalk AS2 Issue

Hi,
We have setup BizTalk AS2 and we are receiving the following error for the specific send port (on outbound):
The adapter failed to transmit message going to send port “” with URL “”.
It will be retransmitted after the retry interval specified for this Send Port. Details:"Unable to read data from the transport connection: The connection was closed.".
Note we are sending to the same URL for another sendport (and its working fine), but we are changing the AS2 ids (as one is for a canada and another is for US). Any direction would
be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jacob,
I understand that the same URL is working, but how about the party configuration and its association with the send port? Have you changed/updated the party when you change the URL? Check it.

Deployment Framework for BizTalk (BTDF) Issue

Hi ,
I am getting file not found and other issue,while deploying application using BTDF,for more details please see the attached screen shot.
Note: I am able to build the same application without BTDF .
any help...

just cross check in your orcehstration project properties and check what is the assembly name you mentioned.
Your BTDF settings in build server is expecting for the dll with name
"ProjectName.Orchestrations.dll" , that is in your case BTDF_Deploy.Orchestrations.dll
so your orchestration's project assembly name should be same like
BTDF_Deploy.Orchestrations so that the generated dll will be with name
BTDF_Deploy.Orchestrations.dll
if this does not solve it, then we need to verify settings in BTDF proj file for your project and if required in build server configuration too.

SAP biztalk Integration issue

Hi Gurus,
I have designed an RFC for indent order flow in ECC 6, which is intergrated with MS Biztalk server 2009. The problem is that I my output in standlone system is fine and perfect. But if I run the same interface thru Biztalk ,there is some mismatch between values. To be precise status values(text). For example if the status is Fully Delivered for an Indent, Biztalk is consuming as Not Delivered. other values are perfect.
Kindly give the solution at the earliest.

Biztalk MQSeries issue with whitespace characters

We have a Biztalk 2010 implementation that is putting messages onto a MQSeries (v 7.1) Queue. Sometimes the messages have a "/r" or "/n" embedded in an xml element typed as xsi:string. When the message is put onto the
MQSeries Queue the "/r" or "/n" have been removed. Assuming this has something to do with white space removal but can see no setting to stop it. Also, the /r, /n are in elements typed as xsi:string which is supposed to preserve
white space by default. Any assistance on this would be appreciated.

We plan to try that although we do have another send port filtering on the receive port in the same way and the characters are preserved in a file drop, Further, we tried changing the send port to passthru (no XML processing) and it still removed the /r
when peeked in the MQSeries QUEUE (the peek was hex and the chars are truly gone)

Biztalk 2006 issue

Hello:
We have change the DNS setting of our Standby SQL Server to production.
I see connection coming from BIZTALK server into SQL Server and all required BizTalk Services are running fine.
I am getting following error as shown below when I try to change or refresh from BizTalk Admin Console

I am getting following error in message monetoring, when I am trying to call web service deployed on biztalk server:
com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: java.io.IOException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML
I am confident that all the configuration are correct, do I need to do some extra configuration in case of biztalk server.

Biztalk functoid issue

HI Experts,
I need to check a condition in map if (sourceSchema.node2=="datathere")
then I need to map the (sourceSchema.node3 to desinationSchema.Out3).
I have done this using scripting functoid(where condition is checked and returns Bool) mapped to value mapping.
Every thing is fine, when it is false, output attribute value is coming as empty.
Here I should avoid to display the empty attribute.How can i skip that in the output?

My input is an xml schema and output is flat file attributes .csv.
Incase if the expected value is not there in the source , i need to avoid the empty record with comma separated like below..

But i want my output like this

here you see, when it is true, i got 3 CSV values, id it doesn't match i need to remove that empty value

BizTalk Server 2013 R2 EDI EDIFACT custom Target Namespace is not being used

I have a client that has a partner that doesn't use the "out of the box" BizTalk EDIFACT 97A DELFOR schema. I'm using BizTalk Server 2013 R2. I need to use a custom target namespace. I have created a custom schema for EFACT_D97A_DELFOR with
a different namespace http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/EDI/EDIFACT/2006_<partnername>.
In the Parties agreement/Transaction Set Settings/Local Host Settings, I have the following in a separate row under the "Default", UNH2.1=DELFOR, UNH2.2=D, UNH2.3=97A and TargetNamespace=http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/EDI/EDIFACT/2006_<partnername>
It wants to use the out of the box schema from the error below but I need it to use the custom schema. If I change the input file with a UH2.5 value along with changing the root node to match it EFACT_D97A_DELFOR_<UNH2.5), it works but the partner
will not be sending this, so it's not an option.
Error details: An output message of the component "Unknown " in receive pipeline "Microsoft.BizTalk.Edi.DefaultPipelines.EdiReceive, Microsoft.BizTalk.Edi.EdiPipelines, Version=3.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35"

All,
Because the trading partner is not sending the UNH2.5, UNG2.1 and UNG2.2 values in the incoming message, the EDIFACT custom targetnamespace schema will not be used. I created a decode custom pipeline component where I inject the UNH2.5 element,changed
the rootnode to the trading partner specific schema to EFACT_D97A_DELFOR_XYZ (where "XYZ" is the value in the UNH2.5) and in the Party agreement->TransactionSetSettings->LocalHostSettings default row specifying the UNH2.1, UNH2.2
and UNH2.5, it will then use the custom schema(http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/EDI/EDIFACT/2006#EFACT_D97A_DELFOR_XYZ. I could've injected the UNG segment
and used a custom target namespace and not changed the rootnode of the custom schema but didn't want to add all that extra segment information.
The example below assumes that the UNH segment only has values "up to" UNH2.4 only and appends the UNH2.5. Uses the UNA segement to dynamically set the componentDataElementSeparator.

BizTalk SMTP Relay Issue

We go to send mail via SMTP from all of servers, we are only able to send mail to @Dell.com addresses only.(same network)
We would not able to send to all address (like an @Microsoft.com or an @csc.com address)
I am able to send an email to all address through dot net application but not Biztalk
Please share your thoughts how to resolve the issue

From the BizTalk Server can you do an interactive SMTP session with the SMTP server and check if relay is permitted? If you get relay denied then very clearly the SMTP Server configuration requires modification. (the responses from the SMTP server are in
BOLD)

What is the response? do you get "250 2.1.5 <[email protected]>" or "relay denied".
Either way you should get someone who know mail & messaging involved to help to ensure that it is not a SMTP issue.

I like to know what is the way to integrate Dynamics AX with Dynamics CRM . For AX integration using biztalk no issue. I need to give a demo to integrate Dynamics AX with CRM using Biztalk. For demo I need to consume WCF service of AX and push that
