Black friday gift card

I ordered my ipad Air last Black Friday through online.
They gave me $75 gift card after I purchased ipad Air to my e-mail address.
However, they charged $75 from my bank account too.
When I picked my ipad Air at the Apple Store, the assistances said that amount of fee is kind of holding and it will be back into my bank account later.
After 2 days, I checked my bank account, Apple still didn't give me back $75.
What should I do?
Is there any people have same situation as me?

Same story here:
Ordered iPad Air using apple.com on Black Friday.
Picked up in store on Dec 2. Store customer rep told me to expect $75 gift card via email.
Called up Apple customer service on Dec2 and told to wait for 1 day after store pickup.
Called up Apple customer service again on Dec 4, told that gift card did not "attach" (not sure what that means ....) to my initial order. This customer rep has started a "manual" process to get the gift card/credit to me and said that this can take up to *3 weeks*.
I have also been asked to call up again next week to make sure that things are on track.
I wonder why Apple could not give a physical gift card along with the iPad when I picked it up in store. Instead, I have already wasted 1 hour talking to Apple customer service and it is still not resolved. I am not sure how much more time I will need to spend to get this resolved.
IMO, this is not a very good customer experiencea and makes me wary of availing any future offers from Apple.

  • I purchased Apples products on Black Friday and got gift cards...

...but I've lost the emails pointing to those gift cards. Who do I contact about renewing or regaining access to the cards?

Only Target or the iTunes Store could help with this, and as you have found out the iTunes Store will require a copy of the receipt. They require this to prevent someone from just shoplifting a bunch of cards off the rack in a store and then claiming that the cards were legitimately purchased but the store didn't activate them.
If you can't provide a receipt, then the ITunes Store won't be able to help you. If Target, whose fault it is, won't help you either, then sorry to say but those cards will be useless.
    Regards.

  • Itunes gift card also not activated properly here code 5301

Bought itunes gift cards on black friday...went to redeem them, got code 5301, not activated properly on all the cards. But have all the activation receipts. Waited 24 hours just like the store and receipt said. Till this day still not activated. E-mailed itunes support twice. Responses taking forever to get. Even gave them scans of cards and receipts. Anyone else having or had any luck with this?

  • Re: Stolen Gift Card Procedure FAIL

I recently suffered a similar theft, so I feel your pain.
I had two (2) Best Buy gift cards - one worth $222.75, and another worth $50.00.  I was saving the cards for Black Friday shopping, but I decided to post the gift cards on Craigslist to see if I could get a good amount of cash for them now.  The two cards together came to $272.50, and I was asking $250 OBO.
Someone contacted me (using an out-of-town number) and said he was interested in the cards.  He said he was downtown and, before driving 45 minutes to meet me, wanted to verify the funds were on the cards.  I assured him that the money was on the cards, and I had not even scratched the back of the cards to reveal the four-digit PIN on either card.  So there was no way I or anyone else could have spent the money yet.
I told the person that I was reluctant to call Best Buy, as I didn't want him to hear me say the card number and thus have a way to deplete my cards.  But I dialed the 1-800 number on the back of the gift cards, and sure enough it was merely an automated machine that asked me to dial in my card number and PIN numbers.  Since I did not have to SAY the numbers I told him I'd do it.  That was where it all went wrong.
I typed in my card numbers and PIN numbers from my phone, assuming that the person on the other end couldn't see what I was typing.  After all, I wasn't chatting or texting with the person.  After hearing the balance, I told the person where I'd be and where we could meet.  He said he'd be there within the hour.
I didn't hear from the person after an hour had gone by, so I called him.  He said he was stuck in traffic and asked if we could meet the next day.  I said no problem.  But when I checked the card balance the following morning, both cards were empty!  I didn't make an order!
I called Best Buy, and this was over two weeks ago.  In between that time, I've filed a police report and spoken with three (3) different Best Buy people.  They said gift cards are treated as cash - which I can somewhat understand.  But what Best Buy doesn't seem to understand is that gift cards, just like debit and credit cards, hold a trace online.  Whoever used my cards made on online order!  The only two ways for someone to GET the item(s) they ordered are as follows: pick them up in a store, or ship the items.
Assuming the person was somewhat intelligent, he probably chose to pick the item(s) up from the store.  If that's the case, there should be a purchase number, date, time, etc.  And when you pick up an item at Best Buy, you have to show ID.  Also, Best Buy has cameras all over their stores, inside and out!  They should be able to look at the cameras and see that it wasn't me!
Option #2 - they had the item(s) shipped somewhere.  That's easier to track, especially if the items were sent out of town and out of state.
Best Buy reps told me they know there was fraud on my cards but that they cannot refund me any of the money!  How can you tell me you know I didn't spend a dime of my money and was robbed but that you won't refund me my money?!  I will NEVER EVER shop at Best Buy ever again!!!

    Hello paulprice,
Discovering that your gift card was used without your permission or knowledge would be aggravating, so I can understand why you’d be frustrated with the situation you’ve found yourself in. I know that I certainly would be displeased with this, and I’m sorry if we are unable to process your request for a replacement gift card.
Gift cards are treated in much the same manner as cash, except with one added benefit. If you lose your gift card, we might be able to replace it with a brand new one if you present us with the original receipt. In accordance with our terms and conditions though, we’d only be able to replace it up to the remaining balance left. If your gift card was used prior to contacting us, we wouldn’t be able to replace those funds. This would explain the difficulties you mention when trying to recover your gift cards.
Having said this, I pulled up your account using the email address attached the forum and found that you’re working with our customer service agent, Debbie, to try to resolve this matter. Please know that I’ve let her know that you’re looking for an update regarding your case, and she should be in touch with you in the next day or two with information she may have for you. She will be your point of contact from here on out.
We appreciate your patience, and thank you for posting,

  • Problem regarding gift card online.

I had sent the following to customer support 3 days ago with no response, so here's hoping this gets seen:
"Hello, I had received a $50 Best Buy card from a relative as a birthday present.
I had used the card to purchase 3 items: PS3 versions of Assassin’s Creed and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag as well as a $20 PSN Card. The total was $50.25, so I had paid the rest with my credit card.
However, I never received a confirmation email, even though the transaction of the remaining $0.25 I paid with my card still showed up on my account activity.
I have now checked my account to see the transaction proof has been removed. But I checked the balance of the card and there is nothing left. I was just wondering if there was any way to find out if my order went through or not, because if not I would love to have the balance back into the card. Thank you."

    Hi binulsik,
Placing an order online should be a quick and easy process, so I can imagine why you'd be concerned! I'd be looking for answers too if a gift card I attempted to use was redeemed but no order number provided.
Based on what you mentioned, it sounds as though your BestBuy.com order may not have been completed properly during checkout. The fact that your credit/debit account no longer shows record of the transaction also supports this -- initial authorizations typically expire within a few business days. Your gift card should likewise be refunded automatically, so I'd encourage you to double-check its balance later this week. I imagine that the funds should be available again by end of the day on Friday.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!

  • Does final cut pro ever get discounted on black friday??

Hi, i was going to buy Final Cut Pro X and was wondering if it is discounted on Black Friday? Another question is if i buy now and 10.1 comes out before christmas, am i likely to have to pay for the upgrade? Many Thanks in advance.

maybe not on Fridays, but the cheapest way to purchase FCPX is, to look out for any offers on iTunes Store Gift Cards.
    In some promotions, you get a 20% discount… pay 40 for 50 value …

  • 150.00 Gift card for ordering a Verizon Phone?

Is there anyone here that can help me track down my 150.00 gift for ordering a new Verizon phone? I have combed my inbox, spam and filters. No luck. The lady on the phone when I ordered said it might take 10 days to get to me. I ordered the phone at the end of November. I have the order number and information if it helps.

    Greetings etbuzz,
It’s awesome to hear you are keeping track of our mobile promotions! It’s great to hear you’ve purchased a mobile Verizon phone in hopes of participating, and I am sorry to hear you may not have received your gift card if you have qualified.
Using the email address you registered with the forum, I was able to locate your order and see that you purchased your Verizon phone on Black Friday. After reviewing the $150 Best Buy gift card promotion for purchasing a Verizon phone, it appears it was for new 2-year agreements or new Edge activations only. Unfortunately, as it appears that you performed an upgrade and kept your original plan, you would not have qualified.
I apologize for any dismay or frustration this may cause you. If you should have any other questions, please let me know.

  • Black Friday Note 4 question

If I buy the Note 4 during black friday will I get the 50 dollar GC from that deal and the 50 dollar GC from the gift card reserve deal?

    Hello akuma316,
    You ask a great question!
In order to best answer, it would be helpful to know to which specific promotions you are referring. I was unable to locate the Galaxy Note 4 in our Black Friday Preview and the last gift card reserve offer of which I'm aware ended quite some time ago.
I look forward to hearing from you and I'm grateful that you wrote to us.

  • Black Friday - iphone 6 sale - clarification required

Black Friday add for iphone 6 (16 gb) says - $99.99 (with 2 year activation) after Trade in Gift card of $100.
So the price is $99.99 after trade in, what is special about this sale for Black Friday? It still seems to be $199.99 - $100 for trade in gift card.. let me know if I am reading it wrong and it will be $0 after BF promotion and trade in GC.
also, is the 64 GB also on sale on Black Friday? and how is it priced?

    Hello jayesh77-
It’s amazing to think that Thanksgiving and Black Friday are almost upon us.  Best Buy has a great selection of items this year in our Black Friday ad, and the iPhone 6 offer is just one of them!
I apologize for any confusion around this offer.  The iPhone 6 should be $99.99 with 2 year activation and the $100 trade-in gift card.  The iPhone 5s should be $1 with 2 year activation and the $100 trade-in gift card.  I do not know of any plans to have the 64GB version of the iPhone 6 on sale, but I would recommend periodically checking BestBuy.com as we will have many holiday ads between now and Christmas!
    Thanks for posting!

  • No points for black friday purchase?

So on black friday, I purchased 2 digital slr cameras, at a cost of a little over $950. I got an email today about my points so I went to go check and my purchase shows at 0 points earned, when it should have been 950 points. I do not understand why this was. I do know that they were having problems with the computer (couldnt look up best buy rewards and had to run cards manually), but the cashier said that I should automatically get the 950 points. What do I need to do to fix this?

    Good morning naquadah,
Welcome to the Best Buy forum, and thank you for posting!
I attempted to review your My Best Buy™ account, but was unable to do so using the email address you registered with the forum.  Did you charge that purchase to a Best Buy credit card or MasterCard?  If so, did you select a promotional financing offer?  Unless you paid for the entire purchase with gift cards and certificates, then that is the most likely reason why zero points were awarded.  Based on the Program Terms, a purchase that is applied to a promotional financing offer does NOT qualify for points.
While the purchase may not qualify for points because it was applied to a promotional financing offer, it should still count towards reaching Elite and Elite Plus status during the 2014 calendar year.  I would like to review your My Best Buy™ account so that I can confirm exactly why you were awarded zero points, so I will be sending you a private message.  To check your private messages, you will want to login to the forum and click on the little yellow envelope at the top of the page.

  • Re: Black Friday Note 4 question

I noticed that the Note 4 was included in the Black Friday preview flyer. However, its is unclear what the price will be for an AT&T upgrade and committment to a 2yr contract. Is the phone free + $50 gift card in this instance? If not , what  gives ? What is the acrual price?

    Hello famcole5,
With Black Friday just a week away, everyone is planning out what deals to seek out first and foremost! The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is certainly a great deal, especially with a $50 Best Buy gift card. At this time, unfortunately I cannot comment as we do not yet have this information to share. Once we have more information, you should be able to find it on BestBuy.com, so I would encourage you to keep an eye on BestBuy.com for any updates to come!

  • Is the iPhone 6 with 100$ gift card? Can I purchase it online and pick up from store

Is the iPhone 6 with 100$ gift card? Can I purchase it online and pick up from store?

The following indicates that it was a one-day event (Friday) and that the iPhone 6 gift card was $50: http://www.macrumors.com/2014/11/28/apple-itunes-gift-card-black-friday/

  • I got an itunes gift card for christmas...

but I can not figure out how to use it. YES i did read the instructions and i read the instructions right on iTunes and like for whatever reason there is NO BUTTON to click to put in the giftcard serial number thingy. ive checked EVERYWHERE in itunes ive clicked all over.
Can someone please help me out? Perhaps i just missed something >_< It says to 'click under account and add giftcard" or something and i clicked my account and theres nothing there
To use an iTunes gift certificate or iTunes Gift Card:
In iTunes, click iTunes Store (below Store).
Below Account, click Gift Certificate or iTunes Gift Card and follow the onscreen instructions.
If you don't have an Apple or AOL account, you have to create one before you can redeem the certificate or card. You don’t need to enter credit card information to redeem only the amount of the certificate or card.
    I tried that >:[
    please someone help me.
Oh and also it says iTunes MUSIC giftcard... is it STRICTLY for music? :P I dont listen to music.. no offence to apple but i think 99 cents a song is a rip-off and i'd rather buy a movie XD and if it is only for music is there anyway i can trade it back for a universal one?
ive never used a giftcard before...
Dell desktop with windows XP home edition / MacBook 13 inch white 1.83GHz   Mac OS X (10.4)   30gb black video iPod also.

Open iTunes and select 'iTunes Store' you will be in the main iTS page - there is a link that is titled 'Redeem iTunes Card Gifts' - chose that link and you will get to a page that will allow you to continue. If you cannot find that link the use the below link and you should end up on the required page - you will go there via Safari then to iTunes.
    https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/redeemLandingPage
Read the loaded page for terms and conditions and as far as I know a Gift Card is good for any item in the iTS - music or video - but as I suggested read the page listing the terms and conditions

  • Where is the best place to buy an iTunes Gift Card?

When I purchased an iTunes Gift Card at a Wal-Mart store, the cashier scanned the card (like any other item), instead of sliding it, and I paid for it. When I got home to redeem it, iTunes said this message: "The Gift Certificate or Prepaid Card code you entered has not been activated. Please return to the original point of purchase for assistance."
Luckily, I had the receipt, and, after lots of arguing, was able to get a new card (the cashier said that she slid the card), and when I entered the code, it worked.
How are cashiers supposed to activate iTunes Gift Cards? Do they scan it, or are they supposed to slid the card like a credit card?
Where can I buy a Gift Card without getting, "The Gift Certificate or Prepaid Card code you entered has not been activated. Please return to the original point of purchase for assistance."?
I've seen some cards in which there is no black bar for sliding the card; instead, there's just a barcode under a window. How are those activated? By just scanning it?

    dlee--
Usually, WalMart's pretty good with gift cards. Usually. (Stuff happens, okay? )
Anyplace that carries them is usually pretty good, especially if you have your receipt. In my area, Safeway and Albertsons are pretty good. I also have a Mac Store (NOT an Apple Store, but carries Apple products) that's good, and Best Buy is also good.
    Hope this helps--
