Blend complete set before blend is complete

I have a set of 32 XY coordinates that are fed to the PCI-7344 using the flexBlend function. I wait for the blend complete bit to be set prior to passing the next set of coordinates. This works except for the final set of coordinates where the bit is set immediately following the issuance of the flexBlendStart command. Is it possible that I am checking the status of the bit too soon following the start command? This condition occurs every time the code is executed.

ctsnc,
Having read over your post, I believe the behavior that you are seeing is the expected behavior for the blend functions. Blending is merely a smooth transition from one move to the next. The actual move that follows is not part of the blend. (If you think of this in terms of a manual transmission automobile, 3rd and 4th gear would be moves, and shifting would be the blend. Once the car is actually into 4th gear, the blend is complete).
In this context it makes sense that after issuing your final set of coordinates and checking the blend complete status, that the blend has already completed. This is because there are no blends left to occur. In the case of your final move, you would probably want to check whether the move has completed instead of checki
ng if the blend has completed.

On a 4S the erase should take under 10 seconds. As it has taken longer there must have been data corruption on the phone. Reboot it by holding HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears. If it has not be cleared of all data connect it to iTunes and Restore it. Then erase again.

  • Date & Time Set Before 2001

I am in the process of streamlining my Powerbook G4 laptop.
I have had some problems and have overcome those issues save one.
Whenever I turn on the computer the date and time option tells me that they are set before 2001.
December 31, 1969 to be exact.
Any ideas as to how I can get this back and on time if you will?
    Thanks

Hi, a. When the date and time revert to that default setting, it's an indication that your Powerbook's internal backup battery is dead. That can only happen if the backup battery is defective or the Powerbook is deprived of all power — AC and main battery — for longer than about ten minutes.
Remove the main battery and leave the Powerbook connected to AC power for five or six hours to recharge the backup battery. Put the main battery back in, start the machine, and disconnect the AC adapter. Set the date and time correctly, and use the computer until the main battery is drained and the machine goes to sleep. At this stage, the main battery should still have enough charge left in it to maintain the date and time for at least 24 hours, without the backup battery coming into play for that purpose. Leave the AC adapter disconnnected and let the Powerbook sleep overnight, or for at least 8 hours. If after that time the Powerbook is not sleeping, but has shut down entirely, your main battery needs to be replaced: it isn't reliable and isn't holding much of a charge at all. In that case, your backup battery will also have been drained, and your date and time will have been reset to the default date in 1969.
If your main battery gives you less than about half an hour of working time on a full charge, or if it gives you as much as an hour, but doesn't provide accurate or dependable readouts of its current condition in the menu bar, then you've probably been aware for a while that you need to replace it. If that's the case, think of your date and time resetting as a further gentle nudge to get cracking and replace the battery.
In the unlikely but possible circumstance that your main battery is completely dead or you don't have one at all, then your backup battery will drain and your date & time will reset in about ten minutes every time the AC adapter is disconnected, or there's a power outage, or the AC adapter shuts down due to noise in your AC line. In that case, get yourself a main battery and your date & time will be reliably maintained.

I am the owner of my iPhone 4 and it had not been updating and allowing me to download apps. So I decided to do factory setting, before doing so I had backed up my phone on my computer then I had erased everything from my iphone. But now I want to start everything from the beginning, and on my setting my Apple ID is present however when I put my password in it doesn't let me log in. The message that I receive says that I would have to remove my Apple ID  as it will not let me log in with that I'd even though I am the original owner, I have tried  everything on find my iPhone as well, even there my Apple ID not showing on the devise.
If anyone has had a similar experience could you please advise me on what to do,
    Thanks

You must have the credentials that were used to turn on Find my iPhone on the device. Without them, you can not get past the activation lock.

    Hi Experts
I had a requirement for  the Query, when we executing the through slection screen we will be giving 0fiscyear "from and to" dates. the "Valid to" (0date)  has to check the relation of the Client partner and contract of relationship, if it is within the current date it should dipslay the report with values , if it is out of current date, it should display in the report as "null".
Logic : This report is based on the u201CClient Partneru201D and the u201CContact ofu201D relationship. If any of these relationships have a u201CValid Tou201D
date set before the date that the report is run u2013 print u201Cnullu201D.

    Good, it shouldn't be there.

isn't us7ascii, so while retreiving data from database the data stored in ResultSet is changed to UTF-8 format. thus, my question is - how to convert character set before my executuing the method
executeQuery() or any other methods would be appreciated.

  • Clock set before 2-24-01 - WHY????

When the mini was turned on this morning (out of town for a day, so turned it off before leaving) the clock was 2-26-94 with the wrong hour setting and a window that read Clock Set Before 2-24-01 etc. I turned on the automatically set clock date (was not previously on) and connected via ISP and it updated, but from using other Mac's over the past 12 years this usually meant the internal battery needed replacing although most lasted 3 or more years. So this happening in a Mini at one year puzzles me.
This is second time this has occurred.
    Solution?
It's Under Apple Care but I didn't get the "quick Reference Guide" that was supposed to be in the original materials or the Apple Care Protection Plan
    materials.
    Mini, 1GB, 1.42 GHZ, 80G   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

I would set the clock now.
Then, after you have made sure that the date and time are correct, I would turn the computer off.
Then, un-plug it from it's power supply.
I would leave the computer un-plugged for maybe 5 or 10 minutes.
Then, plug it in, and turn it on.
Check the date and time again.
If the date and time are incorrect again, then you know that either you're battery is dead or you're system has a PRAM problem somewhere.
If the machine is under warranty, then I would call to arrange an inspection and have it serviced.
If it's not under warranty, then you might try replacing the battery.
The Mac Mini uses a coin-cell battery like the PC's do.
So, you should be able to obtain a replacement battery at just about any local store. I haven't looked at mine, but it should be a CR2032 which is the same battery used by PC's and the iMac G5.
You should be able to find a battery at Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, and just about any other place that stocks batteries. The CR2032 is a common stock item at most stores.
As a side note, at least you're only goes back to 2001. I used to have a computer that would revert back to 1953 or 1956 when it's battery died. I can't remember which year, but I know it was in the 1950's.
Strange since we didn't even have personal computer's back then (much less the digital timers used in computers). How weird. I know the clock in that machine was made by Dallas Semiconductors.

After setting up an "Exchange" mail account on my device, iPad/iPhone, it requires a new passcode to be set before data will be downloaded. I did this on the iPad and now have to enter that passcode everytime I turn it on. How do I avoid needing to enter a passcode on my iPhone everytime I turn it on?

The passcode is a requirement set by the administrator of the Exchange server you are connecting to.
It is purely for security purposes.
If you do not want the passcode, you must remove the Exchange account. There is no way around it.

  • Can start date be set before valid for date for an equipment?

Can start date be set before valid for date for an equipment?

    Hello,
Generally when a asset/equipment  is purchased that is the valid from date and when commissioning done and it becomes operational then that date is start up date. So logically start up date should not before valid from date, it could be same.
Can you elaborate why you want start up date before valid from date ?
    Thanks

Although I haven't tried this for buffered digital channels, it works for analog input channels, so give it a shot.
When using analog channels, before you call the AI Start VI, you can wire a vi located in Data Acquisition -> Calibration & Configuration called DAQ Occurrence Config vi. This VI will set an occurrence (like an interrupt) when the buffer reaches a certain size, and then you can perform your read of the buffer accordingly.
The best way to see an example of this VI is to go to LabVIEW/examples/DAQ/anlogin/anlogin.llb/Cont Acq&Chart (Asynch Occurrence). The occurrence will allow the data acquisition thread to still be open, and allow the CPU to perform other tasks while waiting for the occurrence to be set. This sounds exactly like what
    you want.
I just checked the examples/DAQ/digital directory, and there is an example with continuous digital input which uses the DAQ occurrence VI as well, so this should work for you.

  • Macbook Air clock is set before March 31, 2001

So, I just purchased a MBA for a client of ours. I made sure the battery was charged fully as I was setting up the machine, and upon handover instructed them to drain the battery and force the machine to sleep to condition the battery on it's first cycle. They performed this and charged it up fully again.
They let it fully drain again (unintentionally), and plugged it in put didn't turn the plug on, so when I arrived at it the following morning, it had no battery. I gave it some power and woke it up (it restored from it's previous state) and was then welcomed with your computers clock is set before March 31, 2001 error.
Any ideas what the problem could be? Since this I've noticed it wont remember their wireless network password etc? I'm guessing this is a PRAM issue, and perhaps the PRAM button battery?! However, this machine's a couple of days old?
    Any thoughts much appreciated.
    Oli

While I'm unsure why March 31, 2001 was selected I am curious...
If your reset the SMC/PRAM and set the clock correctly does it continue hold the correct date/time settings on reboot? If you were to drain the battery again, does it hold the settings?
Another user touched on the keychain issue for the WiFi network password, so you'd want to check their first. I've also seen issues with WEP-based encrypted networks requiring a password on reconnect even when stored in a keychain. Whereas on the same machine a WPA2-based encrypted network does not! (Unsure if there's some sort of keepalives feature of WPA2 that WEP lacks).
As far as the PRAM goes, I've only done a full disassembly of the MBA once and the battery was certainly not obvious. If you look at the MLB photos that iFixit.com took during their disassembly you can see for yourself what the innards look like:

  • Should PFI I/O Be Set To A Default Setting Before Use?

Hi everyone, I am using the PFI lines on my PXI DAQ Card (6229) for Counter Output frequency generation and Counter Input frequency readings.  I know these lines on power up of the PXI card are set to high impedance mode by default.  Should these lines be set to digital LOW '0' before setting them up for Counter Output or Counter Input use?  Is it good practice to set up the PFI lines to a default state before using them in an application?
    Thanks!

    Hello testdesign,
Thank you for your inquiry. You do not need to set the PFI lines to any specific value before setting up a Counter Input or Output task. The LabVIEW Example Finder has excellent Counter Input and Output examples if you have any questions on how to program or set up these tasks. These can be found by going to Help » Find Examples » Hardware Input and Output » DAQmx » Counter Input or Counter Output.
