Blinking images and messageBox colors

I am looking for the most efficient way to create an image (such as a .gif or .jpg) that blinks for a specified amount of time. I tried to do something with the setTimeOut method, but Adobe doesn't seem to like it.
I would also like to change the color of messageBoxes based on certain events, but am not sure how to reference the color value of the box.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thank you
Brian

I have not seen either one of your request done before. The only way I can think of to have a blinking image is to create an animated gif.....but I do not think that the gif will animate in PDF.
The messageBox is created by a call to the Javascript engine and the color of the box is not exposed as a changeable parameter.

  • How to send images and other colored text in email body

    Hi
We are using SAP CRM 4.0 and we would like to send email to our customers using actions configured for activity. Our objective is to send Marketing Emails containing <u>Images and Color texts</u> in the BODY OF THE email and not as a PDF attachment.
The only relevant provision we could see in SCOT is either Text or PDF. On using text , we are loosing all images and color. The PDF option works , but the email generated is a blank email with PDF document as attachment.
We want the matter to be inserted in the body of the email and not as attachment.
Please do let us know if any one has faced similar situation and is there a resolution.
    Thanks and Advance.
    Regards

Are you pasting in the HTML code?
You can't use the formats in the CRM editor to set bold text, etc.  You have to use the HTML code and have set the Form up as Internet mail

  • Change blink BG and FG colors

    Hi,
I have four different controls on my front panel. each of them blinks at different stages of the program. I want them to blink in different colors. Which ever is related to emergency, should blink in bright colors, routine ones should blink in softer colors etc. where do I edit/set foreground and background colors for blinking of each control?
    Regards.

i like to do this with system LED's, usually like to overlay them with the blinking led on top layer and transparent in the off condition...

  • Problem with possible conflicting color spaces between BG image and blend color

    Hello,
Occasionally I will get a PDF file from an outside source. The usual routine is to run it thru Preflight using Acrobat 8 Professional.
I run it thru "digital printing black and white" and "compatibility with Acrobat 5" because I use Quart 6.5 as a layout program and cannot go any higher with compatibility.
I have a grayscale image on the PDF that gets a lighter box area on the file where the image touches another element. I think it may have something to do with transparency, but not really sure. It seems the element touching it may be in front of the problem photo, and if the element is not a straight line, that is when the light spot on the image below obviously shows.
Anyone know how to deal with this issue?
    Thank you,
    Nancy

    Steve -
Yup, same problem, thanx for the link. ++
Yes, it's off between 5 and 10. I have been adjusting by trial and error as I didn't think about the DigitalColor Meter. Used to use some hack like that back in Mac OS 8 or so, don't think I've ever used it in OS X. Lurn something new every day or two.
Still got some fringes on the overlay edges and in general it's not acceptable. If it didn't happen in DVDSP 2 then it's definitely a bug. Oh, well, I'll dazzle 'em with my footwork.
Thanx to all for the tips,
    Russ

  • Gif images, pixels and hex colors

I'm not a java developer, though I at least have attempted to learn it. This may be a strange place to ask this question but java keeps coming up in my search so what the heck!
I am a highschool biology teacher-to-be and I am trying to design a lesson about DNA transcription and translation. I want the students to play a game where they take hex color codes (codons) and place a color card (amino acid) the hex code represents so that they build a big pixelated picture (the protein). I don't want to do the work of writing down the hex code for each and every pixel of the image, and was hoping there was some way to reveal as a list the hex color of each pixel in some sort of ordered fashion. I tried just dragging a gif file into a text program, but that didn't do it, ha!
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

  • I can select a rating and a color label for my images, but I can not sort by rating and color label.

I can select a rating and a color label for my images, but I can not sort by rating and color label. when I click on the filter drop down, color label is not one of the options.  how do I get both ratings and color lables as an option to sort with.

You can Filter (not sort) on both color label and rating if you want, open the Filter Bar with the backslash key, then click on Attribute, and then select the stars and color label of interest. If you really meant "sort" and not filter, then you can't do this in Lightroom.

  • Changing images (and text) in InDesign file to spot color.

Hi, Im trying to create a two color job in InDesign that will be black and red. The problem I have is that our imagesetter is not separating the colors.
I was told that the red color needs to be a spot color in InDesign for the imagesetter to know to separate the colors. Otherwise, if the colors are not set as a spot color then it sends the file as CMYK separations or grayscale separations.
The question I have is how can I change the images (and text) in my InDesign file to be set as a spot color? Thanks in advance.

  • FCPX: Still Images and Color Effects

What I am doing is not working so clearly I am doing it incorrectly . .  .
I have some still images and want to change the color to night-time "over time". I thought I could use keyframes to do it but when I do that, it changes the color of the entire image instantly. It is not a gradual change. Maybe I am setting the keyframe in the wrong place, I am not sure. Anyway here is how I am settin the keyframs and also the panel I am working in to do the color adjustment. It seems the keyframes are being set in the "Transform All" section and I want them in the color section but can't get them in there. Can someone please tell me how to do this correctly?

Tom, I have a question. I can split the clip -no problem; however, when I add the first color correction (going from day to night color), it is going to apply the color change instantly with no gradual fade to night. In the second clip, I can do another color correction going from night back to day but, again, it will be applied instantly. I think I might be misunderstanding your method. Can you explain, please.
Or are you saying that one clip would be day and one would be night, and the cross-dissolve would blend the two?

  • REQUEST: Crop Beyond Image and Fill "Background" with Choosable Color

One of the features I'm missing most is the ability to extend the crop tool rectangle beyond the image and have the "new" area filled with some choosable color (like the background color in the crop tool in Photoshop). This is especially useful when turning the image at an angle. Actually I like the usability of the Lightroom approach - turning the image behind the rectangle - better than in Photoshop where the rectangle is turned.

Lens corrections - manual - scale, set to less than 100 and try again.  Background color isn't selectable.

  • How do I sample color from a photoshop image and apply it to an Encore menu color sets

I'm about 3 months and many hours of tutorials into Premiere ProCC, Audition CC, and Encore CS6. Apparently the nifty dynamic links from PPro and Audition CS6 no longer work with encore, as encore was not upgraded to CC. So, I want to sample color from an original photoshop image, and create an Encore menu color set, so that my menu bttons, etc. are colored to match the main photo image in the menu. Is there an eyedropper kind of tool in Encore that would let me sample the color from the image, and then apply that to color swatches in the Encore button layers? If there is I can't find it! ~Thanks!

Strangely enough, I started a thread on this issue a few days ago in the Creative Cloud forum.  I had to uninstall all my pre-CC adobe software to get the Application Manager in sync with the CC apps, so when I tried to use Encore, there it was gone.  So I reinstalled PremPro CS6 just to get Encore back, but when I right clicked a menu in Encore, as asked to Edit in Photoshop, it threw up an error.  The consensus was that Encore CS6 would know nothing about Photoshop CC, so after much time searching for a fix, my only option was to either reinstall Photoshop CS6, or do it manually.
I took the latter option using Windows 7 to search for the menu, and open/with Photoshop CC.  Stan Jones, who is the Encore equivalent of our Noel, mentioned a brick-bat, but I just saved the edit file and dragged it into Encore, and it worked fine
