Blogger (blogspot) mobile site won't resize images

Blogger has supported mobile version webview. When using Firefox android browsing blogger, the images are not resize to smaller ones.
As image below:
http://imgur.com/WWdDFLE
Firefox for android, the image won't resize to smaller one, but other browsers do.

This is likely a problem with the data blogger sends to Firefox. You can log a bug report at https://webcompat.com/ and technical people will do some diagnosis of the issue.

  • IWeb mobile site won't work

    I published an iWeb website and when I try to visit it on my iPhone, the phone automatically redirects the URL to "m.websitename.com" (even if I delete the m.) and then shows a message of "We are sorry, there is no such site.". I haven't found anything on iWeb about mobile sites, so I'm not sure why the mobile device won't just visit the normal site.

    Contact your host's tech support and ask them if they have a redirect on the server.
    Now that having a mobile version of your site is essential if you are in business, its usually set up as a sub domain with the prefix "m." or "mobile."
    Most hosting services allow us to decide which method, if any, to use to direct mobile visitors to the appropriate version of the site. Some have obviously decided to do it for us using either .htaccess or a server side script!
    Maybe you should leave it in place and take this as a strong hint to create a mobile compatible version of your site. It is possible to do this using iWeb if you think about it.

  • Site that automatically resizes images based on browser size

    Hi. I need to make a site that automatically adjusts the size of the images based on the browser size, but keeps the image quality. Does anyone know how to do this without using flash?
    I basically want the site to perform like [http://www.shotview.com/|http://www.shotview.com/] . Thanks for your help.

    first time accessing website get screen size info using javascript and then redirect to next page and store screen size info into session. then, when requesting pictures from browser use custom servlet, mapped to image extension, that renders images to different resolution.

  • Muse mobile site won't pinch or zoom on iPhone?

    I cannot manage to get the iphone muse site I have created to zoom in, it will scroll down and up, but say I want to zoom in to read something up close it won't work.
    If anyone can advise on this that would be great. The normal site on the web works fine but table and phone won't.

    @Zak Williamson
    I found out what was causing the problem. I disabled the Parallax scrolling effects and the pinch and zoom started working.

  • Resizing images published through flickr, but I don't want it to.

    I set up a flickr connection with LR3, very cool. However it resized the image to 1024x768, though I have nothing set under 'resize'. Why is it doing that?  Do I have to set it to resize everything to 9000 pix and not enlarge for it to keep the original size?

    Setting the resolution to 9000 x 9000 wont make any difference. Or at least it did not for me.
    It could be a limitation of Flickr (no Pro account). Perhaps it is different with a Pro account.size file is being uploaded if you dont resize on output but you wont see it if you dont have a Pro account.
    In fact, from the Flickr site: Only smaller (resized) images accessible (though the originals are saved in case you upgrade later)
    This would suggest that your original size file is being uploaded if you dont resize on output but you wont see it if you dont have a Pro account.

  • Resize mobile site with muse

    I'm creating a mobile site and I don't know why when I preview the mobile site it pushes the content to the left side of the screen. How can I resize it automatically? Designing the site everything is sized correctly.

    Hi
    Please check if there is any page content frame stretching the page , of if any header or footer item falls out of page area.
    Thanks,

  • Muse resizing image on Preview

    Here's a new issue bugging the h-e-double hockey sticks out of me!
    Recently I switched domain hosts and decided it was the best time to update my mobile site. I made a copy of the old site and completely redesigned the Desktop copy of the new site. Then, when starting to revise the mobile site something strange happened.
    I copied my Mobile "Master" page objects from the old site to the new site. After pasting them in place I wanted to preview the layout for any necessary tweaks. The background image in the header, as well as the menu and my logo resized to about 75% upon displaying the page.
    I went back to the old site and verified my top of page and leader locations were exact duplicates, as well as the bottom of the page. I clicked Preview and the Master page displayed perfectly. Went over to the new site and the error repeated. I opened the original website template I purchased from Musegrid.com and copied all elements from that Master to my new Master -- same issue.
    OK, so maybe there's a problem with the image. I deleted the old image and placed a copy of the original image from the assets folder. Same issue. Maybe I messed up something in the header? I moved all objects other than the background image off of the canvas. Same issue. I recorded a quick screen cap so you don't think I'm crazy. Actually I'm only minutes away. Care to stop in and join me?
    My wife made a fresh batch of her award winning chocolate chip cookies. I'll send 2 dozen to whoever helps me resolve this issue!
    BTW this is the new November release!

    Thanks for your efforts to help me!
    First, here are the first three screen shots of the original temple from the package I bought from musegrid.com:
    As you can see the template previews fine and scrolls top to bottom as it was designed.
    Next, I duplicated the page properties, Top of Page/Header settings from the working template to my new template with the exception of the logo that would be replaced anyway:
    Next, I clicked preview and every element from the bottom of the page up was resized. The white rectangle serving as the background being resized allowed the elements on the bottom of the page to become visible in this view without scrolling:
    This is what’s so frustrating. I’m am relatively new to Muse so naturally I’m certainly not an expert; but regarding technology in general I’m far from a novice as I have MCSE, Apple 10.7 and FCPX certifications. Anyone with a solution is welcome to call!

  • Adobe camera raw window won't resize and can't reach buttons

    When I open an image from bridge into adobe camera raw 6.1 (Photoshop CS5) on my laptop, the camera raw window fills all of the screen (top to bottom) and the buttons at the bottom of the window are below the task bar. Thus I can't open the image in photoshop except by hitting the enter key. I can't reach the open, etc buttons. The window won't resize and there are no icon/buttons in the right upper corner to go to/from full screen. When I hit the icon in the top right hand menu bar in ACR (to go to full screen size) the window then fills the whole width of the screen in addition to the height, but no matter what I do I can't get the height of the window to shrink, so that I can access the icons at the bottom of the screen. What am I missing? Thanks

    Don't worry about turning aero off just yet.
    There are two key first questions:
    What is your screen resolution (width in pixels x height in pixels)?  Right-click on desktop, choose Screen Resolution.
    What setting have you chosen for the display size (Smaller, Medium, Larger) in the Display dialog?  Right-click on desktop, choose Personalize, then Display.

  • How to proper resize images and videos at runtime without losing quality?

    Hi guys. I need a bit of help here.
    I've built a flash site in which i want to resize a movie to the stage. I do it by keeping the proportion, thus i only resize the width and then i resize the height acordingly to the new width but keeping the proportion.
    The problem is that my film still looks "pixeled".
    I found a website on which the stage resizes dinamically with the movie and the background images without either of them losing quality. Till now i knew that resizing images or videos in flash at authoring or runtime produces pixeled results.
    This is the website: http://kampanjeweb.apt.no/jotun/romforrom/. Can someone tell me how do they do it without losing quality? just make the browser windowed and resize the margins to see the effect.
    Thanks.

    Hello, Venian.
    About the video, you could try setting the flash.media.Video's smoothing property to TRUE. This should keep a quality, but you can do nothing if the video has a poor quality. You need a great video.
    About the images, you you need to redraw the image each time you resize it. To achieve it, use a combination of Bitmap, BitmapData and Matrix classes. Any doubt, just call again. Here is a simple example:
    var scale:Number = .5;
    var highQualitySourceImage:Bitmap = ...your image...;
    var scaleMatrix:Matrix = new Matrix();
         scaleMatrix.scale(scale, scale);
    var bitmapData:BitmapData = new BitmapData( scale*highQualitySourceImage.width, scale*highQualitySourceImage.height);
         bitmapData.draw(highQualitySourceImage, scaleMatrix);
    var finalBitmap:Bitmap = new Bitmap(bitmapData);
    addChild( finalBitmap );
    Cheers,
    CaioToOn!

  • Synchronized text issue from desktop to mobile site design

    Hello, I love the idea of synchronized text, but is there a way to assign different styles on both desktop and mobile site pages?
    For example, If I use synchronized text on my desktop pages, my font sizes will be larger then the font sizes I would use for my mobile site pages. But, using synchronized text, if that content is linked between my desktop and mobile pages, I'm limited to one font size, which would work for my desktop site but the font size would be too large for my mobile site.
    The content between between desktop and mobile would be the same text, but I need the option to assign a different font size for my mobile site.
    Is this possible? If not, can you please add this to new features.
    Thanks much
    Cheriss

    Hi,
    Single page websites can be great for new sites or for some special projects, but I won't recommend them as long-term solutions and, if you already have a multi-page website, I do not recommend switching to a single-page site.
    If your single page site has great content and good structure, google might provide same treatment as it does for various sub pages website.
    A useful Video by Matt Cutt, head of the webspam team at Google
    Search engines will index all the pages of your website, providing multiple opportunities for your site to come up in searches. When your site consists of only one page, a single page is exactly what you’ll have indexed.
    That means if you have many services, many products, single page design will really compromise your rank and result in search engine.
    Do let me know if you have some more questions.

  • Getting a fixed header for Mobile site?

    Hi,
    I am trying to set up a fixed header for my mobile site. I have tried multiple things and keep running into the same issue. Although I haven't tried to view on another mobile platform other than iOS 8.1, but the issue that I am having is my address bar will not collapse when I have any scroll effects set in the page. So what ends up happening is that I am loosing the top portion of my page because the address bar is still visible. Is there a work around?
    I attached a image of my site and another site with what I am trying to accomplish.
    Thank you!

    Unfortunately, it's a trade-off. Scroll effects on mobile devices are performed with JavaScript, which prevents iOS from shrinking the browser frame. See the link below:

  • Default Image Rendition or resize image automatically

    We use the column Rollup Image and have the blob cache enabled to use image rendition.
    Is it possible to use this publishing image column with a default rendition (not full size) so the user has not to choose the rendition (or cannot choose it)?
    Or what would be the best practise to get automatically resized Images? By publishing Image column or better by JavaScript?

    Hi,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you want to you want to know about how to use PublishingRollupImage Column to display a default image rendition and how to get automatically resized images.
    Firstly, I suggest you can use the automatically resized in the rollup publishing image column. As the image renditions will choose for different device such as mobile phone, if they display as a default rendition, then it can't be enlarge if user want to
    see more clearly.
    About how to get automatically resized images, you can get image with RenditionID using Jquery.
    Here is a code snippert for your reference:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.microsoft.com/ajax/jquery/jquery-1.7.1.min.js" />
    <script type="text/javascript">
    $(document).ready(function() {
    $image = $(".article-content").find("img");
    $image.each(function (i) {
    var imagesrc = $(this).attr("src") + "?RenditionID=5";
    $(this).attr("src",imagesrc);
    </script>

  • I'm too bad in math! can't figure the correct function to resize   images

    This is driving me crazy, just becasue I don't have the
    logical brains it takes:
    I want to dynamically (PHP) resize images, according to a max
    width and max height parameters.
    What's giving me a problem is that max width and max height
    are not equal, AND the images should be
    resized only if their original size is too big:
    $max_width = 650;
    $max_height = 500;
    $size = getimagesize($image);
    $img_width = $size[0];
    $img_height = $size[1];
    Now how do I write a function that will resize images of any
    possible size, *only if they need to*,
    to fit in the maximum size *rectangle*?...
    I have tried for hours to get it right, and I am ending up
    with a function so full of conditionals
    and sub-sub-conditionals that I'm getting completely lost.
    I hope you can help, I'm sure it should be very simple...

    here's the solution. This will correctly and proportionally
    reduce image size according to ANY max
    width and max height, no matter what the difference between
    max width and max height:
    if(($width <= $max_width) && ($height <=
    $max_height)){
    // The image is the right size already
    $targetwidth = $width;
    $targetheight = $height;
    }else{
    // if width > height
    if($width >= $height){ // if height > width
    $targetwidth = $max_width;
    $targetheight = $targetwidth * ($height / $width);
    // here we must check again if reduced height is not still
    greater than max_height
    if($targetheight > $max_height){
    $targetheight = $max_height;
    $targetwidth = $targetheight * ($width / $height);
    }elseif($height > $width){ // if height > width
    $targetheight = $max_height;
    $targetwidth = $targetheight * ($width / $height);
    // here we must check again if reduced width is not still
    greater than max_width
    if($targetwidth > $max_width){
    $targetwidth = $max_width;
    $targetheight = $targetwidth * ($height / $width);

  • Mobile site - content moved to the left

    Hello everyone!
    I recently completed a site: www.threesistersgarden.org and i'm having a few issues when the site is being viewed on mobile. The first two pictures below are using Google Chrome browser (most recent 37.0.2062.117). As you can see by the right edge, all the content with the exception of the header is actually moved to the left. I'm not sure why this as the case as there is nothing there on the master or the actual page itself that should force all the content over. The background image at the top is not full screen nor is the image stretched to the edges. Please help!
    I know the site address up here says tssite.gor..etc but that was just where i took the screenshot. Even if you visit www.threesistersgarden.org the issue is still there.
    This screenshot was taken using the built in browser on my Galaxy S3. I have the most up to date firmware version. As you can see here, the header and footer is move over to the left.
    This same screenshot was taken when i tried to reload the page again. This time the header and footer don't move but you can see part of the logo and navigation menu is cut off. The links can only be selected by clicking the very bottom (ex the orange area shown).
    Thanks for your help everyone! If you need more information, please don't hesitate to ask!

    Hey Gaurav,
    Yes the site is published. I believe I've figured it out and it had to do with the width of the page image extending beyond the blue lined border on the page.
    View this on mobile:
    On this link, i've shrunk the image and fit it within the blue lined border. The footer shows up correctly on the mobile site and nothing is pushed to the left http://tssite.gorillaboston.com/the-farm.html
    This is the live page where the image extends beyond the blue lined border in the muse file but not beyond the white border http://www.threesistersgarden.org/the-farm.html
    I don't understand though why its moving all the content over to the left.

  • Mobile site

    Hi,
    I've finished designing the layout for the desktop site, and everything seems to be working fine.  I'm having some issues with the mobile site...when I change the phone in preview mode, the sizing is working correctly.  As an example, when I select iPhone 4 from the dropdown menu, the bottom of the page gets cut off.  Is there a way to make the site responsive so it will auto resize for all of the phone options?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I assume you have gone through and added the content for the phone layout within Muse.
    - http://helpx.adobe.com/muse/tutorials/creating-mobile-layout-designs-muse.html
    Since this may require additional testing I would recommend having Muse support look into your Muse file to ensure everything is properly configured.
