Bluetooth Application

Dear Apple
Dear iPhone users
Is there a Bluetooth application that can send/receive images, files & video clips via Bluetooth without jailbreak the iPhone? I don't want to lose apple protection.
Please advice.

No, you won't find such an app, since that bluetooth profile is not supported by the iPhone:

    append l_r_fieldcat to g_t_fieldcat.
    clear l_r_fieldcat.
after that... at line selection... goto the VF03 using BDC.
No need to double click when you are using HOTSPOT... Single click is enough.
To get check box at the beginging of each and every record use the following code...
    Field having checkbox
      g_r_layout-box_fieldname = 'SEL'.
here SEL is the field name in the internal table with char datape and length 1.
To get ur own GUI Status... Go To Object list ( CTRL + SHIFT + F5 ). there click on GUI_STATUS. add one button for print priview and give one function code.

  • Media Control Bluetooth Application

Does anyone know a good Palm OS compatible remote control application that allows you to control at least Windows Media Center on your PC via Bluetooth? I have tried Liberty Control thus far and am I really looking for something that can actually skip a chapter or change the volume while in Windows Media Center. Liberty Control really only allows mouse-like controls if you want to do that stuff and not be near the computer. It would be a plus if what ever is submitted would be compatible with Powerpoint, Internet Explorer and Winamp. I just want to be able to use my Palm TX as a remote control for my Bluetooth enabled computers. Thanks.
    Post relates to: Palm TX

It was a bit complicated, plus it is out of date for Windows Vista and there are questions on security. I picked up PCPilot. It controls PP, WMP and iTunes, but is a pain when it comes to media controls. Plus, to play a movie off DVD, you have to load it in a wierd way.
After tinkering with PCPilot, all that is missing is the abilility to navigate DVD menus, otherwise it is good.

Still looking for solutions. Looks like many Z-W88 users are having trouble with iPhone only. Assistant does not ask for pairing code, just ask confirmation of a six digit number or Bluetooth device.
Also this problem is more common on recent iOS versions.
There is not info about how to force iPhone to ask for pairing code, and support at stores have no idea how to make it work either, so I'm kind of stuck with this.
If anyone have any ideas I'm open to them...
    Thanks :)

  • GetConnectionURL returns null in Bluetooth Application

    Hi,
I am trying to make my first steps with the JSR-82 API on mobile phones
(Nokia 6680 and Sony Ericsson W800i). I have written a simple program
(see code below), which is supposed to discover near-by devices, search
for a given service (UUID) on a chosen (previously discovered) device
(=server) and then to connect to the server and send a byte (n) to it. The
server should then in turn send n+1 back. All this should be done using
    RFCOMM.
The code works fine in the emulator as well as on two Nokia phones and
on two SE phones. It further works, when using a Nokia phone as the
server and a SE phone as the client. However, when using a SE as the
client and a Nokia as the server, the call to getConnectionURL() returns
null instead of a valid URL that can be used to set up the connection
(you can find this piece of code in the ClientThread class). Can somebody
explain me what I am doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Michael
P.S.:At first I thought it might be a compatibility problem, but in the
BluetoothDemo program that comes with WTK2.2 the correct URL ist
returned by getConnectionURL() (have other problems with this example
though, when it comes to download images, in particular...).

  • Bluetooth application for PDA

    Hej!!!
I am a student involved in a project that requires JAVA. I am going to use a HP iPaq 5500 which has windows mobile for pocket pc 2003.
What I want to do on the PDA is:
    - scan for bluetooth devices.
    - detect them.
    - send a file.
I would like to know if anyone has information about this. What are your suggestions?
My first step is start looking at java virtual machine for the PDA. Then I would like to know what is the easiest way to do the software. I have read that it can be easily done by using obex or JSR-82 but I am not familar with this. I would be so grateful if anyone could help me with this. Thank you in advance

    Hi ssk
can you clarify exactly what you are doing here as I would agree with you that if a restart is solving the problem currently then some kind of memory buffer prob exists but I'm still not clear how you are changing this "Bluetooth friendly name"
will you attach your code so that I can run it and get a better understanding.
    thanks
