Bluetooth Error

I have Nokia 3230. I am able to send files from computer to my phone using bluetooth. But I am not able to send files from phone to PC using bluetooth. The PC is getting detected by phone but when I select the phone it gives me an error "Unable to connect" and sending fails. How to resolve this issue?

Pls mention the details of the pc that u r using. If i'm correct in windows vista under bluetooth menu, there was an option to receive file via bluetooth. Pls check whether u've clicked it before sending file.

You are correct that the error codes in this range are not documented/specified in LabVIEW.
Can you give us more information on when and where (in which Bluetooth VIs) you get these errors?

My audio stopped working suddenly (both w/ and w/o headphones) and a bluetooth error message keeps popping up?

Abruptly today my audio stopped working and when I plug my headphones it doesn't work either. A popup comes up saying something like "A Bluetooth Error Occurred, we are having trouble connecting to your audio device blah blah blah" then the only button to press is "Stop using headset", so I click that and nothing happens. When I open the bluetooth thing on system preferences the only device is a speaker that is across the country from me and is not connected.
Can someone pleaseeeeee help me?

About two months ago I had a problem where no sound came out of any left headphones (headphones where fine) and this lasted about a week. I was going to have it checked, but then it started working and been ok since. Maybe giving it time will fix it by itself, or maybe it's a more serious problem and needs to be checked out. Hard to tell. It's best to get it checked out if this problem continues but first try restarting the computer. Goodluck on finals, I got em too.

Bluetooth errors (hundreds) in single-user mode

Never had this in Tiger or Panther but...
When starting in single-user mode I get hundreds of USB Bluetooth errors.
Also all too often (approx. every other day) when rebooting I loose use of my Bluetooth Apple keyboard and have to use Leopard Cache Cleaner to clean the user and system caches... after which the keyboard is once again functional.
Even though */sbin/fsck -fy* gives the system an okay after the hundreds of errors... I can restart and again get the same errors.
Here is an image of what it looks like (a little blurry but if you're familiar with such errors perhaps you'll recognize them). If necessary I'll take another photo of the screen and post it.

A wireless bluetooth keyboard would only let you boot into Single User Mode, after that, you will need a regular USB keyboard to type in the prompts, same goes when doing a Hardware Test using the disc provided.
As for some users posted on this forum saying they have not able to continue the Single User Mode under a regular USB keyboard, I am afraid I am one of them... I have not been able to solve the problem as yet and it is kinda "annoying" that there "may be something wrong" with my iMac that I cannot perform fsck, nevertheless I have regularly booted from the OS disc and run Disk Utility, which is equivilent to booting to SUM, but supposingly much better, and my HD checks out fine... so at the moment I have no worries.
In my post there is another person who has regularly keeping me update about this problem and has deduced it maybe due to the internal bluetooth module and the USB inside... rather complex issue that may require me lengthy conversation with AppleCare or have something replace, or "worse" have my iMac sent away for a time for repair or replacement. Since my iMac is doing quite fine, I'll live with it for the moment...

1. I tried to transfer a file from my Z10 to Macbook Air (Mac OS Mavericks).
2. When I select a file and then try to send it through Bluetooth - i get a message: "Failed to find service"
3. I have checked all settings on Macbook and Z10 are ok.
4. I have gone through the past solutions discussed / shared in the forum, none has been helpful.
5. WHAT COULD BE THE ISSUE?

Well that is strange, since we seem to be on the same time today we can go over everything again if you like.
I experimented many different ways just to see the errors and the way I said to do it works perfect on my Z 10 and Mac.
Just try this, go to Network App on Mac, click Bluetooth click Connect, if you go to Bluetooth App you can enable "Show Bluetooth in the menu bar" then just click Connect from the Menu Bar.

My problem i currently own a home pc and a laptop, both are windows xp operating systems, and i have just recently purchased a Nokia N-Gage mobile telephone, i have found out on the nokia N-Gage site that the pc software suite which allows me to exchange data between all three units can only be accessed by bluetooth, which is fine i suppose but i have tried in vain but have got nowhere, so as a last resort i telephoned Nokia and explained my situation and the young lady told me to go into my bluetooth places and from there we will try to get the units to talk to each other and when we tried to get them to see each other it came up with an error saying that Com port 0 is configured but the lady on the phone said that is wrong and i told her that it also came up with an error saying that it is not able to begin infra red because it may be in use by another application, and so she explained that i neede to get in touch with MSI concerning the problem and how i could correct it, but when i have looked at the email they have returned back to me, they have sent me to this forum, and hopefully maybe someone in the forum has had this problem and i would like to be able to sort htis little error out.

Do both your pc and laptop have bluetooth?
PC suite also usable with infa red or by cable connection if you buy the cable to connect your phone to the pc/laptop.
Laptop may have infa red port but pc won't unless you buy one

Bluetooth error while synching with Palm Treo

When I try to sync my Treo 755p with my iMac I get the following on the phone: Unable to initiate HotSync operation because the port in use by another application.
Problem must exist on the computer because I am able to sync this phone with another mac. The phone is a trusted device on the mac, the software is configured according to the documentation on the palm site. Suggested fixes for this error are to remove any other devices using the port. How do I find out what port it is using so I can remove other devices? The only other devices on this computer are a secondary monitor, Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

I am trying the Labview with Bluetooth Protocol with the program mentioned here or with my program. I get the same error from the Bluetooth Open Connection VI for all connected Bluetooth devices.

Thanks for the solution. I get a new error now "Error 59 occurred at Bluetooth Open Connection in Simple Bluetooth-Client.vi".
Possible reason: The network is down, unreachable, or has been reset.
The Project tested is in the examples i.e. Simple Bluetooth.lvproj.
I am using a Bluetooth USB device and the address of the device is found by the server program.
I have installed the required Microsoft drivers for the Bluetooth USB.
Can you explain the solution.

Ichat bluetooth error.

When I try to connect with someone or they try to connect with me I get a message about bluetooth headset error? I am not using a headset but my speakers on my imac are plugged into the spot in the back.
Also then I have an error about disconnecting either my trackpad or my mouse.
when I do connect no one can hear me.

Hi,
I am not sure how your iChat has go to the stage where it thinks it has a Blue Tooth head set connected.
Try this.
In System Preferences > Sound > Input tab select anything else other than the current one when you get there.
IF It says "Line In" and you have an Internal Mic select the Internal Mic.
Then in iChat > Preferences > Video Section in the Microphone Drop down als change the choice to something else.
Shut down and restart the computer.
Go to System Preferences > Sound > Input and chose the Mic you will want to use in iChat.
Set the Volume to about 75% (But not so it hits the right hand end when you talk)
Now Start up iChat and go to Preferences > Video Section > Microphone Drop down.
Choose the same devices that you chose in System Preferences.
Repeat process for Output devices
NOTE
A Blue Tooth headset needs setting up in System Preferences > Sound, before setting it up in the app.
As iChat "Thinks" there is a Blue Tooth headset we are doing the same routine but with a different Input device and Output.

Bluetooth Error on early 1.66Ghz Core Duo Mac Mini model.

Something really weird that wasn't really happening until a couple weeks ago... I can connect to a bluetooth enabled cell phone just fine... I can even transfer some small files back and forth okay, BUT... if I attempt to transfer something big, like a music file... a 3MB mp3 per say... it will start the transfer and after a few seconds, sometimes longer... the error comes "The Hardware bluetooth is no longer available" ...
NO CLUE!!!
Anybody around having the same problem or had maybe?

If this mini was bought new in May 2007 it is still under warranty, and you should contact Apple. If you have an Apple store in your area you can make an appointment at the Genius Bar and have it looked at. If not, then simply call Apple and describe the symptoms. If they can't walk you through a series of troubleshooting steps to identify and resolve the problem, they'll arrange for the system to be returned to them for service. You don't have to put up with a defective drive.
On a broader note, it's not likely to be your media, as long as you are trying to use good quality blanks rather than a low-cost generic brand. You might try a good quality blank from a different manufacturer to check however.
Also, you mention 'Disco' and 'Toast' - which implies you have installed alternative CD buring software on the system. Nothing wrong with that, but make sure these applications are properly compatible with your version of MacOS, and the system - particularly that they are Intel-native copies. A problem with third-party burning applications could cause the symptoms you describe.

Nothing else except this is in journalctl and the same message I get when i manually restart bluetoothd through systemctl. Here is an output of status:

Anyway - when I want to connect my keyboard, I have to go to bluetoothctl, connect, disconnect and then again connect - then it's working OK. During that I get this errors:

The keyboard also gets disconnected after cca 5 minutes of inactivity and bluetooth daemon use 100% of one core for no reason. When I type something on keyboard, it gets back to normal. And the best thing? When I hit Caps Lock on my BT keyboard, it stops working and disconnect from laptop. I have to disconnect it first in bluetoothctl and connect it again!
I guess this should be first step in making it work.
My friend with other laptop and other keyboard has exactly same problems. Thanks to lack of documentation for Bluez it's hard to find out what's going on. Really - this is one of the things that pisses me off the most in Linux.

Ok, solved by installing bluez4 from AUR and then use commands which I've found on wiki for BT keyboard here. And then added this to my autostarted applications:

Bluetooth error message

I installed the windows drivers, and went through some trouble getting a wired keyboard and mouse to connect my wireless ones. Got my mouse connected, but keyboard failed to. Then it stopped finding bluetooth devices altogether, and then i found it said this in the apple built-in bluetooth properties box:
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
how would i go about fixing this?

Goto ichats prefs/video and chose your microphone and then goto ichats menu bar and click on video and make sure microphone is enabled.

PowerBook G4 Wakes Up While Closed! BlueTooth Error??

Hey everyone! I've been having a strange issue. Basically when i close my powerbook it'll sometimes wake up after 2 seconds of being asleep.
I checked the console and found this: *IOBluetoothHCIController::restartShutdownWL this is a wake from sleep*
But i've heard from other places that this could be normal? I'm not sure what could be causing it to wake up!
I'm running the latest version of tiger and have no bluetooth or ANY devices at all connected.

Have you reset the Power Management Unit (PMU)? Sometimes the settings get jumbled, and the PMU controls sleep and wake operations: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1431
