Boitier USB6211 et longue distance

Bonjour,

  • How to find a second point on a line given a point and distance

    Hi All,
    My requirement is: Given a point on a line and distance, I have to find the second point. All geometries are in LRS.
    I tried using SDO_LRS.LOCATE_PT, it is returning the second point from the start of the segment but I want to locate the point from the given start point. Kindly suggest in how to solve this.
    SQL Used:
    SELECT SDO_LRS.LOCATE_PT(a.shape, m.diminfo, 9, 0)
    FROM lrs_access_fiber a, user_sdo_geom_metadata m
    WHERE m.table_name = 'LRS_ACCESS_FIBER' AND m.column_name = 'SHAPE' AND a.unique_id = 1996;
    Regards
    Venkat

    Hi Luc,
    Thanks for the information. I have implemented this in a slightly different way like:
    1. Firstly, found the distance (Distance_a of the point selected from the start point of the segment using:
    SELECT SDO_LRS.GET_MEASURE(SDO_LRS.PROJECT_PT(a.shape, m.diminfo,MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY(2301, 8307, NULL, MDSYS.SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1, 1, 1), MDSYS.SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(xa,ya, NULL)) ), m.diminfo ) into Distance_a FROM LRS_ACCESS_FIBER a, user_sdo_geom_metadata m WHERE m.table_name = 'LRS_ACCESS_FIBER' AND m.column_name = 'SHAPE' AND a.unique_id = Input_Fiber_Id;
    2. Then added the given distance (b) to this computed distance (Distance_a ) to get the distance of the second point (Distance_b).
    Distance_b := abs (Distance_a + b);
    3. Then used SDO_LRS.LOCATE_PT with offset=0 and distance=Distance_b to get the second point.
    select SDO_LRS.LOCATE_PT(a.shape, distance_pt, 0) into point_geometry from LRS_ACCESS_FIBER a where a.unique_id = input_fiber_id;
    Please give your inputs and feedback.
    Regards

  • How do I extend my Airport Extreme version 5.7 for better wireless at a distance?

    From my researching of this problem, it seems like I may need to "extend" my Airport Extreme version 5.7 to strengthen my signal at a distance.  It is used, but I was able to reset and set it up to my network.  The previous user was getting much better performance.  When at my desk, right next to the router and Airport Express, I get up to 19Mbps.  At a distance of 30-50 ft. (which I often use) wirelessly, I can only get up to 4Mbps.  Will "extending" the Airport help those speeds and strengthen the connection so as not to burden it even farther with 3 users connected to the network or is there something else that I can do?  Am I just being picky?  I am an Apple novice and have read everything I can to figure out my problems, but this one is still lingering.  Problem or not?
    Info:  if needed
    Airport Extreme v 5.7  - only one as a base station
    Wireless network with ZyXel Q1000 router - Airport Extreme is connected to that via ethernet cable.
    I use a Toshiba Satellite laptop, less than a year old running Windows 7.
    Often work about 30-50 feet away wirelessly and speeds are up to par without Airport Extreme, got it to strengthen signal as another user will be added to my network shortly.  Speeds at a distance 4Mbps or less.  Next to router and Airport 19 Mbps.
    I have Century Link 20Mbps high speed internet service.
    Airport "dome" has three lights on top.  Middle is steady green and the two on each side periodically blink white.
    Successfully set up using airport utility for PC.  It shows up on that list and on my wireless connection list.
    Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions or positive comments.

    I'm having a bit of trouble confirming that the ZyXEL is a combination modem & wireless-N router. If it is, then you really won't get any advantages of using the 802.11g AirPort.
    If the range of your ZyXEL is limited, you may find that doing either or both of the following will help: 1) Move the ZyXEL so that it is higher vs. lower in the room, that is away from any closed areas or placed in a metal cabinet, and 2) Changing radio channels. The latter is especially important in you live in an area where there are a number of competing Wi-Fi.
    A good utility to find out, is iStumbler. You would use this to find these other Wi-Fi and find which have the strongest signal value. Those that do, you would also want to note which channel they are operating on, and then, change yours to one that is at least 3-5 channels away. So, for example, if you find strong ones on channels 1 & 6, change yours to 11.

  • How to make the objects got even distance in the Blend?

    Wondering anyone has the same experience or not? I blend 2 circles together and adjust the spine from a straight line to wave curve line by adding points and adjusting the handles of the points. The space between the objects along the spine turn to uneven after that. I tried to use the "specified distance" in the option and add more points and modify the handles again. However, all in vain. Finally, I need to expand the blend and adjust the distance of those objects manually. Any suggestions to correct the stupid way? Thanks.

    There is not really any way to get even spacing in a blend when the spine path has uneven curvature. (What the Specify Distance option does is take the length of the path, and divide it by the requested distance to determine the number of blend steps, but then once it has that number, they get spread out by exactly the same algorithm that is used when the number of steps is specified by a fixed number or calculated from the color difference.)
    The length of the direction handles on a spine path affects the placement of objects, with longer direction handles pushing the blend steps away from the anchor point, and shorter direction handles pulling them in towards it. This tends to make the objects more tightly spaced when the path has sharp curves, and more loosely spaced where it is flatter.
    If the direction handles are of equal length, and the distance between the two direction points is the same as their length, such as occurs on a circle, then the "pulls" balance out and the spacing ends up even. But when the curvature varies, so does the spacing.
    This can be used to advantage to get non-linear gradations, by making a straight line and then pulling out direction handles that lie along the line. It can also be used to make objects on an elliptical orbit appear to be spaced in perspective, since they are closer together at the sharp ends of the ellipse and farther apart at the flat sides.
    Often, however, what is desired is spacing that is independent of the curvature, such as you get with scatter brushes.
    It was fully intended when live blends were implemented in AI 8 that even spacing would be an option, and would indeed be the default option, with logarithmic spacing and direction-handle controlled spacing being two other choices. The direction-handle controlled spacing was just implemented first not because it was most useful (it isn't) but because, believe it or not, it is
    easiest. (Points on the interior of a bezier curve are natively addressed by t-value, which is a fraction of the direction handle distance. To obtain a position that is a fraction of the path length, one must first flatten the entire path into a polygonal approximation, then find the position by adding up the lengths of the flat segments. In contrast, one can obtain a point at a given fraction of the bezier t-value without flattening the path. This is the reason, by the way, that while scatter brushes have more even spacing between objects, they do not fit as tightly to the bezier as blend steps do - they are being placed on a straight line approximation of the path instead of directly on it.) The intention was to get the easy case of t-value based spacing working, and then add the harder case that requires flattening.
    It turned out that we did not have time to add the extra options for AI 8, so it shipped as is. Then Macromedia sued us over live blends because Freehand had them first and as part of the settlement we had to promise to stop enhancing them. Now that the two companies have merged, that issue is moot, so enhancing blends is now a possibility for future versions of Illustrator. (All of you who complain about the cool features that Freehand has had for years and Illustrator hasn't, as if it were perverse and intransigent of Adobe not to follow suit, might want to keep in mind that copying the features of another company's software is often not allowed.)
    In the meantime, scatter brushes can be a good alternative if all your blend steps are the same, but obviously they won't work if your blended shapes are changing along the path.

  • HP Envy 17t-j100 Distance between USB Slots suggestion

    I intended this post as a recommandation for HP.
    I have an HP Envy Touchsmart 17t-j100 and everything is excelent up until now.
    The only thing that is very annoying is the distance between USB ports. PLEASE increase the distance between USB ports for the future models. I have a lot of problems tryng to connect everything I need.
    Even if I try to open the DVD drive, it will stuck in my USB device. I mean how much difficult is to put a distance of 1 cm between them?
    If the USB cables are the standard size, there are no problems but most of the USB devices nowadays are much more wider than a standard USB cable and I keep having problems.
    I mean it's a 17" laptop, there is plenty of space on the sides. In the end, it's better to drop the DVD drive and put a VGA slot instead, but with bigger distance between USB ports.
    I am planning to buy another ENVY in the future but I really want my new laptop to have USB ports with a wider distance bewtween them.
    Thank you very much and I hope HP will take care of this little problem on the future models.
    Have a nice day.

  • Service Contract based on Quantity/Distance/Time

    Hi Guys,
    Presently I am trying to develop one Circulation Expense System. The scenario is described as below.
    The basic flow of the distribution of finished goods starts from production plant. Then there is two modes of distribution can be identified.
    One is directly from plant to the concerned agent. In this case all the transportation and protection liability goes to the organization it self. In the second mode the organization ties up with external vendors. Who is going to give the service to the organization against an agreement or contract. Contract may be quantity or distance or time basis. From the plant organization by his own responsibility going to reach the vendor and after that he will be responsible for the next segment of the distribution process.
    The Circulation Expense System is only bothered about the cost flow due to these re-direction vendors. The main theme is the tracking the cost properly and distributes it among the various cost heads of the organization. So the cost per head can be understood more specifically.
    Now presently there is one legacy system which is managing the entire scenario. I have to map this situation in SAP.
    Can any one please help me in this regard,As I am new to this kind of requirement,appreciate your responses.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Raj

    Hi Raj,
    For your first scenario, you can use Cashsales Process.
    For your second scenario, you can use Consignment sales Process.
    These two business process are standard SAP SD processes which are matching to your requirement.

  • Need help creating illusion of a long road going off into the distance...

    I can't for the life of me seem to figure something as simple sounding as this out... I've spent 2 whole days now working with every different program in the CS4 Master Collection and am ready to shoot myself.
    I'm trying to create a nice banner and in it is a street sign and the road it's naming going off into the distance as if you were standing on the road looking straight down it forever into the vanishing point.
    For some stupid reason this is the hardest illusion of all. In PS CS4 I create a really long Road as a Smart object,and then try to turn it into a 3d postcard so I can rotate it, but only the part that is seen within the boundaries of the Banner renders in 3D, the rest of the layer that hangs outside the border is cropped.
    I want to be able to put a light on it and texture it to make it look realistic, other wise I would have just drawn a triangle with lines on it. So I try using After effects to at least handle this part. I created a really long (20,000 px) road in Illustrator, ported it into AE, but AE kinda does the same thing, I am only able to see a piece of the road, the ends are invisible, so only the middle, say 5,000 px of the road are rendered when I rotate it into the plane I want!
    Is there a tutorial or something that can help me achieve a realistic looking long road?
    Thanks All
    Aza

    My advice is to use good old perspective transform, along with Scale and maybe distort to change the vanishing point. Edit/transform/perspective. These transform parameters are very easy to work with and will create a good visual perspective. Not a good idea to use Warp or Liquify because this will throw your perspective off. Best thing to do is light the image from above before transforming. This is an excellent use for Smart Objects.
    Another slightly more complex way is to use the vanishing point filter. Copy your flat road and paste it into a carefully created vanishing point grid.
    Getting into the 3D tools for a simple task like this, just creates more things that can go wrong, as you have discovered.

  • Need help in Conversion of Distance using the FM 'UNIT_CONVERSION_SIMPLE'

    Hi Group,
    I have a requirement to convert a value of type (NUMC - length 4) which has the value for Distance.
    Now I am using the FM 'UNIT_CONVERSION_SIMPLE' to convert the value of the above from 'Meter' to 'KM' as under:
      CALL FUNCTION 'UNIT_CONVERSION_SIMPLE'
        EXPORTING
          input                    = value_in(value of the above mentioned field)
          unit_in                 = 'M'
          unit_out              = 'KM'
        IMPORTING
          output               = value_out(this value should have the calculated value of the Distance in KM).
    and now, I will pass this(value_out) to the field of (NUMC - lenght 4).
    I was facing issues while executing the Function Module as :
    'Please use a number field for the input value'.
    please let me know how to overcome this error or else let me know any other alternative solution is available to overcome this.
    thanks for your help in advance.
    Regards
    Vishnu.

  • How do you use a long distance card with iPhone??

    I have my long distance card set as a contact but when I dial it and then dial the contact I want to reach it treats it like a seperate call. Anyway around this? Ideally it is just for when I call one area code - in Canada - that I want it to first dial the calling card number as a prefix.
    thx in advance

    You should compile the FPGA into a bit file.  You can then load the bit file in the host VI.  This loading should only happen when the host VI is ran.
    10 minutes to compile?  That is quick!!!  I had one that took 2 hours and I've heard stories of some taking a lot longer.
    The Producer/Consumer architecture is the closest thing I can compare my setup to.  Yes, I use the queues because the host VI is constantly running.  You have to use some kind of messaging in order to pass data into the host VI.  I used an Action Engine to keep my queues in order, but you could probably just use named queues to accomplish the same task.

  • How can i calculate distance on Image in a pictureBox ?

    This is a screenshot of what i mean:
    In the screenshot i have a cone. The cone is moving around 360 degrees.
    In the form1 top i have this:
    private float distanceFromCenterKm = 200F; //in kilometers
    private float distanceFromCenterPixels; //in pixels 183pixels = 200Km
    Now in the constructor i did:
    numericUpDown1.Value = 260.5M;
    So now the distance is 300km
    Then:
    //initialize distanceFromCenterPixels
    distanceFromCenterPixels = (float)(/*183d*/ (double)numericUpDown1.Value * (double)distanceFromCenterKm / 200d);
    The numericupdown1 in the designer set the minimum value to 50 and maximum to 300 in jumps of 50.
    But now what i don't know is how to calculate the distance for example from the center to where the shadow start you can see in the screenshot that the shadow i mean just a bit before the 300km start. So i want that the cone will get untill the start of
    the shadow border. I'm close and i could keep playing with the values but how can i make that the numericupdown1 values will jump not by 50 but by some value/s so i can calculate easy any distance to any point ?
    Or something else maybe something like i'm using my mouse cursor when i make a click on a point some where in the image the cone will get to this distance(radius).
    So if i clicked with the mouse on the 300km on the image the value of the numericupdown will change to 260.5
    And if i clicked on the shadow border(will be hard to click exactly on the border) the cone will get to this distance.
    But my main question/problem is how to calculate any distance for example to this shadow border ?

    You simply should not go this way.
    Get a Map SDK and go on.
    Microsoft has one. Probably for you is the best one the WPF one. AFAIK has it classes which you probably also can incorporate in your Windows Forms solution to get the Geo Information.
