How are the images stored on your original iPad? Are they in the camera roll, in events downloaded using the camera connection kit, or are they in albums synced to your ipad from a computer?
If the photos are in the camera roll or in events downloaded from a camera, you can transfer them to your iMac and MBA by directly connecting the iPad using USB. Then you can download the photos to iPhoto like from a camera.
Only, if your photos have been synced to the iPad from a computer, you will have to save them first to the camera roll; then you can download them by connecting the iPad via USB.
What IOS version has your iPad?
For new photos you might consider using Photo Stream to transfer your photos between the devices.

I have had to change my email address/Apple ID. my iPad recognisIes the change of id but on my MacBook Air, iCloud just keeps asking me for a password for the old email address/account. How can I get iCloud to recognise the new details? Help please!

I have had to change my email address/Apple ID. My iPad recognises the new detail in iTunes and iCloud but when I go into iCloud through my MacBook Air, it requests a password for the old email account which I can no longer use. There is no Option to be able to change this email/ID detail as I cannot get further than the password request. Can anyone help please - this is driving me insane?!

Go to System Preferences and click Sign Out, select Delete at all the prompts, then sign back in with the changed ID? (Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac when you sign out and choose Delete, but will still be in iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account your data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in.)

HT204291 Everything was working fine with ATV ie mirroring and the apple tv itself, now I no longer am able to mirror my macbook air for some reason.

Last week i was able to use every function of my ATV, however in the last couple of days, I've been unable to get my macbook air to mirror to our tv. Nothing has changed - I havent done anything different. Ive read and re-read discussions to no avail. Please help if you know how I can troubleshoot this issue.
not sure if atv or atv2 but shouldn't make a difference in working order, as I said earlier, nothing has changed so why is it no longer working?

I have macbook air with osx 10.9.5. Play thru hdmi cable to TV no problem until I loaded Sling and played the first time. The next day it would not play to my big screen thru the same port and cable. My 10 year old Sony laptop will play with no problem, but not as high a rate and quality. Seems to me Apple didn't like me playing their competition? Could this be the problem?

Mais le problème est simple: ton iphone doit être remplacé! Plein de bugs comme ça, vraiment pas normal
Ce que tu pourrais essayer, ',est de le restaurer comme un nouvel appareil. On efface tout et on recommence à neuf, même pas avec un backup, car tu vas réinstaller des choses corrompues. Tu sauvegardes ailleurs tes photos et tes contacts, tes messages importants et tu effaces tout et tu restore as new!!

TV Apple TV MacBook Air:How to connect my computer's monitor and TV as multiple monitors (NOT mirroring)

I have an insignia TV, an apple TV I just bought less than a month ago, and a Macbook Air (mountain Lion) and a MacBook pro (mountain lion).
I am able to connectboth of my computers with the TV to mirror my screen/monitor, but I have not been able to figure out how to use the apple TV to use my TV as a second monitor, like I was able to do with my HDMI cable.
when I bought the Apple TV the person who I talked to at the store told me I would be able to do it, but I havent been able to do it through system preferences and the options for display only show as mirroring through Airplay. I dislike mirroring because while I play something on my computer (or somebody else does) I'd like to still be able to use my computer for browsing or doing homework.
Please help me find a way in which I can make my TV as a second monitor tu my computer without having to have an HDMI cord across the room. I have a puppy and I have had problems with that. That is actually the reason why I considered buying the Apple TV device.
NOTE: In case you know a way to connect my TV to my Macs I have a time capsule and my TV has a DVI, two HDMI, and a USB ports.

Sorry, that is not possible.
As you can see here, that MacBook Air is too old to use AirPlay Mirroring:

You also cannot use an HDMI cable to "pair" your MacBook Air. The reason is your model has a mini-display port (that looks like a Thunderbolt port, but is not). Therefore, it cannot send audio to the Apple TV.

As follow up, and for what it may be worth(likely not much), I talked to a staffer at an Apple Store the other day about this. He said this capability is meant for, and can only be used with a dedicated bluetooth keyboard. I tried this when I returned home, as my desktop iMac uses a bluetooth KB. I "unconnected" the KB from the iMac, then took it to the other room in an attempt to establish the bluetooth connection to the ATV. Still no success. And as I was attempting this, I realized that, with using the KB only, that is, no "attached screen" as with the Macbook air, I could not see how I could make a connection, because when I had previously tried to connect my Macbook Air, the Air screen was showing that it was attempting to pair with the ATV, and it displayed a 6 digit code that then was supposed to also be displayed on the TV screen attached to the ATV. If I continued to attempt to pair the dedicated KB only, how would this dedicated KB "with no screen" display a 6 digit code? So the mystery continues.

Just spend 3 hours at Apple Store in London.
Speak to genius and start investigating the MBA..
We Open 5 Safari explorer tabs and on each tab you tube is running.
turn on the itunes playing movie in there in itunes.
surfing internet same time.. and leave it running for test 15 min
No core shutdown, well mba get hot but not burning hot and they advised its aluminum case and should feel hot ..so MBP as well.
fan rpm goes to 6200 and CPU temp goes to btw 60 to 78 Degree 'C'
remember 5 you tube video's running and itunes is playing movie and surfing internet
so hammering the MBA...
I said well can we do same test on MACBOOK PRO..
did and guess wat same results and CPU went up to 85 degree 'C' using i stat.
I was also offerd a new MBA at store replacement if i am not happy with mine.. but i decided not too.. coz after that test i feel my MBA is okay no core shutdown and nothing major sign for crash or anything.
if i replace i might get dodgy one.. never know..
so
I got back home running everything and no prob at so far..
Oh yes they rest something on my laptop by restart the MBA and press power button option and shift key together i dont know what that does but it does reset something after install the SDU or SUD driver or something.
so currently working on it and if anything goes wrong i got warranty so take it back any time
so guys just use as wish you like and stop worrying.
MBA is the best notebook out there and might have couple of issues but hey apple is good to hear from customers. so Enjoy

Why did my MacBook Air (purchased 4/6/14 at Apple store) have no charge left on battery and did not come with Mavericks (I had to install)?

Could I have been sold an older model? (And yes, it was in its original packaging.) At the time, I was told that it was because I bought a maxxed-out unit, and that those tend to "sit on the shelf" longer than the less expensive units. I'd appreciate any advice.
