Bowling game on the Nokia 6021

I've tried numerous gaming websites to download Nokia's Bowling Game v 1.8 which comes pre loaded on the Nokia 6021, but no luck. Can someone help. I really miss the bowling game and want to install in on my N 73 Music Edition. Thanx

I'm also having the same problems. I guess one way you could limit heap fragmentation is to make your midlet load all your classes at the start of the application one by one then nulling them. This worked for me for this app that i'm writing. I have a player class which only loads when the game canvas class is started. This used to throw an OutOfMemory error in my application. I then tried instantiating the player class at the start of the midlet then nulling it. I guess this loaded the class definition onto the start of the heap memory instead of at the middle of the application. This could have fixed the heap fragmentation problem. I'm not sure if my explanation is correct though, but i checked the debugger on my IDE and this seems to be the case.
I also have a question for you guys, have you ever tried using HttpConnection classes and connecting via GPRSin your apps? I have a problem wherein the phone runs out of memory after using by the connection classes. I close, flush and null the streams after using them, but it doesn't seem to release the heap memory that was used. Has anyone else had this problem?

Does anyone know how to do this

    hi...
install client software in your machine
perform, listener configuration using net configuration assistant,
Now using this listener name, you create a DSN and use it in rpd,, you want to develope
    OR
go to ODBC Data Source & Administrator and add DSN with Microsoft ODBC for Oracle
in server field, you write your parent machine\listenername
and use this in rpd... i hope the second one works out...

  • What Application is required for Programming a game for a Nokia 7650

Hello, I am new to all this and I would like to program a game on a Nokia 7650, I have downloaded a few games and transfered them via infrared to my phone (JAD and JAR files)which are pretty cool. All I know they are either written in Java or C++.I understand C++, is faster but more difficult to program so I would like to begin using Java. Please advise me what Java Application I need on my PC to write a Game for the Nokia 7650, there are so many Applications on the Java Site, I have no idea which one to download.I am not interested writting a game on the pc only the mobile. Many thanks.

.I am not interested writting a game on the pc only the mobile. Many thanksYou still 'write' the game on the PC, you simply deploy it on the mobile :)
    1) Learn java
    2) Learn how to write games
    3) Learn the mobile phone API, and how to write small, efficient programs
    4) start writing mobile games
if you've never done any programming before, then you've got >1years work there :S

  • STK send sms on nokia 6021 results in 0x32

    Hi,
I am developing a STK application that sends an SMS. On the emulator and nokia 6680 everything goes fine. However, the nokia 6021 returns a resultcode of 0x32 ("command data not understood by ME").

Does the 6021 actually support the Send Short Message proactive command ? Nokia's are notorious for having inaccurate terminal profiles.
    However the 6021 teminal profile

would suggest that it is meant to support it.

Help with what? It's YOUR responsibility to READ the requirements for any app you want to purchase. They are clearly stated on the app's info page. So, either update your phone or beg iTunes support for a refund:

  • Nokia 6021 : I deleted the clock application. How ...

    Hello,
while trying to free some space by deleting applications from my Nokia 6021 I ended up deleting a clock application, which was in fact the clock shown on the main screen of my phone.
Now I don´t have a clock on my 6021 anymore (in fact, I can have it as screensaver, but I like it shown in the main screen).
How can I get that clock back? Can I dowload it from somewhere in the internet? I tried to copy the application from another 6021 which had it, but got no success.
    Thanks for you help.
    Ricardo Bonon

Well, 3 options, I guess: 1st, copy it manually (as what you did) from another mobile having the same model and firmware version… 2nd option, do the factory resetting thing (it may revive your clock in many instances)… if still no luck, here’s the 3rd option: flash your present firmware and install new one… I’m sure this will get everything back to normal… (hey, be reminded of those data that you are going to lost once you do the flashing… believe me, it’s more than clock function)
…err… can you tell us how did you deleted your clock from your main menu… it’s quite interesting, huh?
…actually, just for us to avoid the same mistake…

Nokia 6021, bought 13.09.2006 PC Suite 6.81, downloaded and installed 17.09 Type of connection - InfraRed Win XP, SP2 Problem: WinXP sees the phone and recognizes as Nokia 6021. PC Suite does not! I waited for 15 minutes. I followed all the PC Suite instructions and chose Infrared port from the list.

there are 2 ways to turn on infrared in PC suite.
Make sure that in Nokia Connection Manager Infrared is turned ON (use right mouse click on icon in your bar panel near clock). Another one is Nokia - Get connected (in main window). I hope it helps.

why the nokia n73 me not support N-Gage games ???????
    Nokia N73, product code 0539295
    Version:  4.0839.42.2.1

Ngage has been around for quite a while now and has been "coming soon" for the N73 for as long as I can remember.
If they're taking this long to adapt it to the N73 it's almost certainly because they're having difficulty streamlining it to work on such a poorly-equipped handset.
Don't get me wrong. I think the N73's a great little device and I love mine. It's just not up to the task of a gaming platform.

    Re: Ebooks
Your explanation for adding ebooks to the phone:
"3 How to read eBook on Nokia
1 Download and install the Ebook for Nokia to use as your eBook reader.
2 Download the Doc or TCR version of an eBook (perhaps Frankenstein).
3 Transfer the downloaded file to your phone in the standard way."
Well the only way I know how to put ANYTHING on there is ZOON and ZOON DOES NOT HAVE AN OPTION IN IT FOR EBOOKS THAT I CAN SEE.
How is "IN THE STANDARD WAY" supposed to be of any use or help to me whatsoever when STANDARD WAY FOR EBOOKS IS NOT EVIDENT TO ME???

  • Problem to synchronise my contacts with my NOKIA 6021

    Hi,
I have been successful at synchronising my NOKIA 6021 with my contacts and calendar events at my first attempt. BUT, after I have made changes in my vcard groups, i couldn't synchronize any more my contacts.
What is strange is that under iSync, my contact list doesn't reflect my address book list. My calendar events still synchronize properly.
I have tried to remove and then add again my phone, but I still get the old contact list. I have also reset the iSync history, without more success to get a refreshed list in iSync.
What could I do to refresh my contact list in iSync?
By the way, where is saved my address book information in my Mac?
    Thanks,
    Nicolas

I think you have to choose which program you want to sync with, when your phone is pluged in and iTunes is up, go to contacts, calendars, and a drop down menu should pop up. you should be able to select outlook fom the list.

does anyone know how i could have a "games" icon on my nokia 5800 main menu similar to the one on the nokia n97, because i dont like how my games are mixed in with all my other applications under the "apps" icon.
    thanks.
If iv helped in anyway, hit the kudos button

hi, thanks for the suggestion but i am already aware of this...
i wanted an actual "games" icon in the main menu, something similar to the one in the picture, instead of a folder, where i could put my games in.

  • Isync 2.2 and Nokia 6021 worked few times but not anymore

I sucessfully synchronized my Nokia 6021 after uptdating to isync 2.2. It might be a coincidence, but, after the recent service downtimes with .mac, I can not get to sync my powerbook and my nokia anymore. here is what happens:
    1. start isync
    2. click sync
    3. the acqua bar show that the operation is progressing but, after 25% of bar lenght, the acqua bar does not move anymore.....
    4. on the other hand isync keeps counting thousands of contacts while I only have less than 100.
The sync opeartion used to take seconds while now it keeps going and going until I have to stop it.
Has anyone expereinced something like that?
Anu feedback would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Aur,
    Thank you for your reply.
I tried to reset history several times with no luck. When I did reset history, I tried different options such as "merge..." or "erase device..." and I obtain the same result.
Here is the status that I read just below the acqua bar while synching:
"receiving changes from "Nokia 6021". contacts - 1534"
1534 is the number that keeps growing....it starts from 1 and it keeps growing.
    This is really frustrating.

  • Nokia 6021 - Switching on and off

I have just received a brand new Nokia 6021 to replace a 6310i which was developing a fault with the on/off switch after 4 years.
Well, the 6021 is just about impossible to switch on and off. My thumb is now strained after so many attempts. The only way to it is get the edge of something hard and press down really hard for about 10 seconds and then it will switch on/off.
Is that how it is supposed to work?

Is it switching off & on without stop??!! anyway, if you have the chance to back up your data then restore factory settings or even using bluetooth to send that video to other phone first, if it's really not responding as you're saying, maybe a power cycle could be useful: turn off the phone by keeping the power button down until you feel 3quick vibrations and turn it back on after 1min, if your phone doesn't support this option, hmm... while am writing this i've had an idea you maybe changed where your camera should save pics so you might have it already on your MC, if not maybe anybody else here have better solution.

  • Two new games for the lumia 521

Two games you guys should try to add to the Nokia Lumia 521 is minecraft pocket edition and call of duty black ops zombies they have these games on apple and android products and I think you guys should try to add them to the Lumia 521

    Hi joshua0726,
    Welcome to the forum!
The availability of apps in the Windows Phone Store depends on the app developers themselves. They're the best teams to ask if they have plans to make their apps available for Lumia WP8, particularly with the Lumia 520.
You may also submit apps and feature suggestions at this website: windowsphone.uservoice.com.

Open your phones web/wap browser, go to bookmarks and there should be one for nokia.com.
If not enter the following address:
    http://ea.mobile.nokia.com/ea
This takes you to a page where you can download software for your phone. I don't know what you will be able to download as it varies depending on the phone model.
It can only be accessed on your phone, not on a computer.
