BP Analytics - Customer defined monitor - No data

Hi,
While my custom monitor is running fine with BPMon alerting, i am not able to get results in BP Analytics (though I configured and activated it with "group by options" at logical component level).
In the /SSA/EXM - ECU customizing, I checked boxes for standard BW, BP Analytics Bench/Trend & declared some semantic Ids/BI gen. for the BP Analytics "group by" options at key figure & 1 semantic ID for monitor level.
See the custo. attached.
My custom monitor is first getting the list of Sales Open Orders then calculating the average amount of those open orders (€).
I didn't use the map field options as I consider this monitor as BackLog type, even if I calculate an average amount in the end.
Did I miss something ?
How can I check if some data is retrieved at managed system level for BP Analytics ?
Note: Standard key figures are running fine with BP Analytics.

To resolve the issue, you need to detect where you have problem.
Possible problem parts can be 1 of the following.
1.Data collection in managed system with your coding not working properly
   =>You can check your coding behavior with simulation program described in SAP Note 1521095.
       Please check whether your coding working properly by using program ZBPMON_START_DC.
       if data collection properly worked, you should be able to see collected data in managed system.
       (As described in BPMon trouble shooting guide, with program /ssf/ptabbrowser, you can see
         collected data. SE38 /ssf/ptabbrowser  -> (Relid TC,  Projectid  ECU)
         There should be some entry starting with DI_Solution GUID  _MONITOR_MONID).
         if there is a entry to your monid, this proof, data collection phase is ok.
2.Data transfer from managed system to SolMan analytics not working
        Check the entry in your analytics cube(0SM_BPMRH) with your monid via t-cs listcube.
        if there is data, data is properly transfered from managed system to SolMan cube.
        if data is missing, transfer has some issue.
        Better to check, your monitor configuration in managed system.
        Especially selection parameter and detail list customize via /SSA/EXM.
         (param id, semantic ids are properly assigned between selection parameter and detail list).
        In more detail, please check customer exit guide.
         If you have no clue, better to open Open SAP incident ticket (formerly called OSS message).
3.Data is in SolMan Analytics cube but data retrival to Analytics is not working.
         Recommend to check MDX connection in SM59 ->TCP/IP.
          Analytics collect cube data with MDX RFC connection. So MDX connection has to work.
         If MDX works and your data is in Analytics Cube, you have 2 possibilities.
          3.1 missing authorization.  please chceck your authorization especially related to
                 role SAP_SM_BPOANA_ALL
           3.2  Analytics runtime XML definition is not avaialble.
                  If your solman is less than Sp8 and not having analytics required notes described in
                  note 1759233, you may have to create XML definition manually via
                 connector deirectory  (go to connector directory from BPO workcenter lef side bar)
                  and conduct update AKF.
                  If all notes described in note 1759233, AKF update automatically carried out
                   when you activate your monitor. So no need to do this manually.

  • Customer Defined Data Classes on Cluster Tables?

    Hi all,
    I noticed that there is no option within db13 to change the storage option to a customer defined data class, for cluster tables. I am sure this is by design but wanted to check to see if anyone has had any luck defining a data class on a cluster table.
    We could move a cluster table to a DB2 tablespace and define the new Data Class through dbacockpit/db02, but there is no option to change the data class definition in the data dictionary (se13) to use the new Data Class for the table itself.
    Mainly what we are aiming for is to be able to move 2 tables into their own tablespaces on the target server, during a migration. Sapinst is looking at the Data Classes to create DDLDB6.XML, which defines the tablespace assignments to the target server, so perhaps there is a preferred method of making this change, if it does exist.

    Thanks for the helpful answers. I should add some more detail.
    Our tablespaces have already been moved to new tablespaces on the source system, with DB6CONV, and we have updated our data classes through db02, with no problems. So sapinst uses the data class definitions to create the custom tablespaces, and then uses the data class assignments to assign the table to a tablespace.
    However, the cluster tables do not seem to support the data class assignment in se13, the option is not available as it is for normal tables. Let me see if I can post a screenshot somewhere with a cluster table versus a normal table. For example, there is no option to change the data class for table CDCLS in se13.
    I am wondering if this is a limitation of the version of R/3 we are using, or if the limitation for cluster tables is something that is intended on all versions of R/3.
    If we can't use db13 to make the assignment, we may try the custom definition in the STR file as Kiran mentioned.

  • How to Load the Master Data for custom defined Z infoobjects?

    This is the requirement.
    Some screen enhancements has to be made by adding  new Custom fields( like two text boxes,eg Name and city ) in such a way if we enter data into that text box,that data value for both of the Enhancements has to be stored in some table.If this data is a master data,then how would I pull this master data into BW.
    Please someone throw some light on this problem.
    Lets say a Screen is enhanced with NAME and CITY with text text boxes.Let the user enters the value for NAME and CITY.Let them be stored under two different tables ZTAB1 and ZTAB2.How would I load this master data into custom Defined  Z infoobjects ZNAME AND ZCITY in BW.

    you can by creating generic datasources on thoase tables with Full load or delta.
    if the number entries is less.. you can try full load...
    if it is more... along with required fields...put date also as one fields. which needs to get date of execution of program or date of uploading to Tables. this will be useful build Delta Mechanism.

    most error relating to table DOKTL are caused by misconfigured network card.
    if this is a "home" system, install a loopback adapter from Microsoft and use IP address 127.0.0.1 and also check "hosts" file for inconsistency. do not use the IP adddress provided by your ISP as it may change.

  • F4 help for a customer defined field added as structure enhancement

    I am trying to get the F4 help on a customer defined field added as structure enhancement. This can be achieved by programming the "F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST" (as I have data in an internal table) in the Process On Value-Request event. The problem is because it is a customer field addition as structure enhancement. I am not sure where I should put this code segment to make it work. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Could you create a search help and attach that to the data element of your field, and then populate the data using code in the function exit of your search help if it cannot be directly read from a table or view?
    This would remove your code from the SAP dialog program.  The only mod you may need to make is to add / flag the search help on the screen field.

    Now my client wants to attach a custom defined document(which requirment gathering document) to this query . How can i attach this custom define document to the query .
    When i publish the report in the web then i have following tabs.

    Information
    Information Broadcasting .
    when i go to 'information' there i have "Query Documentation" tab . When i press this tab how can i get the my custom defined document

    Do this way....
    Go RSA1 --> Documents -> meta data
    then select object type ELEM and select object name <the query u want>
    and add a text there or u can download from the file.
    In BEX in query property check mark the document display then it will show a link in report and when u click that it will show the details..
    did u check this as sent in ur previous thread....

    is it possible programming a customer defined context menu for a Web Dynpro ALV (in ABAP)?
    The functionality should be as following:
    Open Context menu with right mouse click, select something like "display details" and then detail data shall be displayed under the ALV.
    Exists a documentation for that?

    When you are defining your content attribute at the controller do not try to bring all the value attributes rather  provide the dictionary structure and make sure that cordinality is 0...n.
    Then as and when you change the dictionary structure you would be able to view the columns corresponding to that.
    Make sure that your select stmt is modified accordingly when you are binding it to the context.

  • Add a custom alert monitor set in Central Reports of NWA 2004s

    Hi,
    I installed recently netweaver administrator 2004s to use central monitoring. I created a new CCMS monitor set with RZ20 and was hoping to see this set in the Monitoring -> Central Reports view set of the NWA (drop down box with all the Alert monitor sets defined in the CEN), but it wasn't there. Is there a way to add custom alert monitor sets created with RZ20 in the Central Reports "View Set" of the NWA ?

    It is possible to refine employee search using status indicator STAT2 (Employees' Employment Status). I would like to refine employee search using e.g. Customer defined status indicator STAT1. I created an entry identical to STAT2 but with STAT1
    in view V_T77S0 but it did not help at all.
    How to refine employee search using customer defined indicator or any other info
    from infotype 0000 or 0001?

    Who's Who (ESS): Selection and Output
    In this activity, you can change the fields for selecting and outputting data for the Who's Who service. The fields of the underlying InfoSet Query are available. Note, however, that text fields cannot be used for data selection (with the exception of the fields Organizational Unit, Position Name, and Job Name).
    You have the following options:
    You can specify the fields for selecting an employee.
    You can specify the fields for the hitlist, that is, the list of all employees who meet the selection criteria.
    You can specify the fields for the detail screen for a selected employee.
    All selected fields are automatically transferred to the service in the sequence you chose and are then available for selection or output.
    Standard settings
    The standard system contains an InfoSet for the service. It contains default selection and output fields.
    Activities
    1. Check whether the default settings fulfill your requirements.
    2. If you want to change the default values, proceed as follows:
    a) Choose the relevant tab page and remove the indicator in the Use default settings for group box.
    To change the selection fields, choose the Selection Fields tab page.
    To change the fields of the hitlist, choose the Output Fields List tab page.
    To change the fields of the detail screen, choose the Output Fields Detail tab page.
    b) If you want to delete a default field, select the field in the relevant tab page and choose Delete Line from Display Table.

    You select an existing field in the tab page and choose Insert Entry in Display Table. The system copies the InfoSet field and inserts it above the selected entry.

    Note that the sequence of the fields in the tab page determines the sequence of the fields in the service.
    The selection screen fields are laid out according to the following pattern (maximum of 4 rows and 20 fields):

    d) If you want to add a new field that is not in the InfoSet, you have to create a new InfoSet. You then assign the required field to the new InfoSet. Then select the new InfoSet in the InfoSet field in the Parameters group box. Proceed as described above to add the field to the relevant tab page.
    For information about creating InfoSets, see Specify InfoSets for Interactive Employee Selection in the IMG for the HR Information System.
    Not the SAP naming convention for the standard InfoSet: /SAPQUERY/HR_XX_PA_ESS
    The country code "XX" stands for "international." The InfoSet itself is in the global area (cross-client). You can create customer-specific InfoSets by copying an existing entry. Take account of your  customer namespace and set the relevant country code.
    Note: The Personnel Number field (P0000-PERNR) must not be added to the InfoSet. If you want to use the personnel number, use the P0001-PERNR field, for example.
    e) In the Sort field of the Output Fields List tab page, you can specify the sort sequence in the hitlist.
    Example: You have selected the Last Name and First Name fields for the hitlist. You want the hits to be sorted first of all by the employees' last name, then by the first name. You therefore enter 1 for the last name and 2 for the first name in the Sort field.
    f) Once you have completed your modifications, choose Check Display Table. If the check was successful, choose Save to save your changes. If inconsistencies were found during the check, a message in the relevant line notifies you of them.
    Further notes
    In certain circumstances, runtime issues may occur, especially in data selection. If they do, set the Selection Fields indicator in the Use Default Settings for group box. This deactivates the use of the InfoSet Query; instead, the system uses the BAPI_EMPLOYEE_GETDATA method.
    You can switch the hitlist and the detail screen to the BAPI_EMPLOYEE_GETDATA method by setting the Output Fields List and Output Fields Detail indicators.
    Note that by setting an indicator, you restrict the field selection in the relevant tab page to the interface of the method.
    If, in the initial screen, you enter a country for which values have not yet been defined, the system automatically creates an entry that sets all indicators in the Use default settings for group box. You can then edit the entry to suit your requirements.
    You can specify whether you want employees' photos to be displayed in the service in the IMG for Employee Self-Service under Determine User Options.

  • DATAEXPORT file  in custom defined Order?

    Hi ,
    I had a requirement to export Lev0 (Dynamic Calc) data from BSO application. I am able to do the export by using "DATAEXPORT" function, but the export file contain the default order as per dimensions design from outline.
    I am pretty sure that i can do from the UDF fictions like "JExport", but my company policy won't entertain us to use CDF/UDF.
    Appreciate if you Could suggest is there any way to export the data in custom defined order by using "DATAEXPORT" function?

    in dataexport, the column order is dictated by the dense and sparse dimensions and the dimension order in the outline. You could change but it could have performance impacts on other things. Another option would be to export into a relational table then you could extract from there in any order yo0u want. If this is not an option , the perhaps a report script

  • Custom Defined Fields Not Flowing to SUS

    Hi,
    Ours is MM-XI-SUS scenario.All the custom defined fields are flowing from MM to XI.But not from XI to SUS.
    We have done SPROXY also in SUS.
    Is there any mapping between XI -SUS which needs to be done?
    Please advise.
