BP search by role brings no hits although BPs exist...
Hi All,
This is a bit of a long message but please bear with it....
We currently have a system issue that is causing duplicate BPs to be created.
We have configured: Customer Relationship Management->Interaction Center WebClient->Master Data->Accounts->Define Account Identification Profiles
to define the "Maximum number of hits that appear in the results list." (this is from the documentation provided in SPRO) to be 100 and in the filters we define a role we have setup for "Customers".
What is actually being done in the system is that the the search goes off and searches the main business partner table (BUT000) and returns the first 100 entries it finds and It then trawls through the 100 hits and filter out those that are "Customers" and returns the hits to the screen.
So, if we do a search for "Smith" the search returns the first 100 hits (who are all Employees) and then filters this 100 for "Customers". This will return no hits as none of these have the Customer role against them.
Therefore the user will just create a new customer of that name and this is why we are getting loads of duplicates in the system.
It would be nice if we could ignore any BPs who's number starts with EM, as these are the employees imported from R/3 and cannot be used (as a customer) in our system due to Data Protection issues.
I have raised an OSS for this and the answer is, basically, is to increase to max hits (which will have an impact on performance) or implement our own code as this is standard functionality.
I am hoping others have came accross this issue and resolved the problem (I have searched the forums and not come accross anyone with the same though).
Many thanks in advance
Gary Hawkins
Hi,
Removing the Max hits has solved the problem.
I think we need to implement our own logic to restrict the number of hits brought back to the Web IC, but the fix will stop us creating duplicates.
Many thanks for your help

SPML: search the roles assigned to a user and add others to him
Hi,
as in the subject i'm trying to create a method in idmClient to search the roles assigned to a user and then add some other (one or more).
How can i implement the search/filter of the available roles assigned to a user?
Thanks in advance,

How can i implement the search/filter of the available roles assigned to a user?I already find how to do it. I have to asked another question about SPML: is there any way to add new roles without searching the old ones?
In other words i implemented a method that:
1) search the roles assigned to a user and copy it to a List
2) add to the List of the old roles, the new ones.
Is it possible just to add the new roles without doing a search of the old ones? In this way the performance is better.
Thanks in advance,

Search if a layersets with a specific name exist and execute a function if it is the case
Hello,
How can i write a script that search if a layersets with a specific name exist and execute a function if it is the case?
Some examples?
Many thanks.
Regards.
SebastienThis would check for a LayerSet if a name with DOM code – so it’s fairly slow.
var check = checkForLayersetNamed(app.activeDocument, false, "thisName");
alert (check);
////// function collect all layers //////
function checkForLayersetNamed (theParent, theCheck, theName) {
/* if (!allLayers) {var allLayers = new Array}
else {};*/
for (var m = theParent.layers.length - 1; m >= 0;m--) {
var theLayer = theParent.layers[m];
// apply the function to layersets;
if (theLayer.typename == "ArtLayer") {
// allLayers.push(theLayer)
else {
if (theLayer.name == theName) {theCheck = true};
theCheck = (checkForLayersetNamed(theLayer, theCheck, theName))
// allLayers.push(theLayer);
return theCheck
Below is AM code Paul Riggott posted some time ago in connection with linking Layer Masks.
Re: Automatically re-link layer masks
You could add a check for whether the Layer is a LayerSet, but if the name is the sole distinguishing feature this might work as a basis for your operations.
app.bringToFront();
main();
function main(){
if(!documents.length) return;
linkLayers();
function linkLayers(){
var ref = new ActionReference();
ref.putEnumerated( charIDToTypeID('Dcmn'), charIDToTypeID('Ordn'), charIDToTypeID('Trgt') );
var count = executeActionGet(ref).getInteger(charIDToTypeID('NmbL')) +1;
var Names=[];
try{
activeDocument.backgroundLayer;
var i = 0; }catch(e){ var i = 1; };
for(i;i<count;i++){
if(i == 0) continue;
ref = new ActionReference();
ref.putIndex( charIDToTypeID( 'Lyr ' ), i );
var desc = executeActionGet(ref);
var layerName = desc.getString(charIDToTypeID( 'Nm ' ));
var Id = desc.getInteger(stringIDToTypeID( 'layerID' ));
if(layerName.match(/^<\/Layer group/) ) continue;
/* you could insert your operations in an if clause here */ -
We recently had a few viruses show up on our computer. They were deleted and everything except Firefox seems back to normal. This problem with Firefox started happening around the same time the viruses showed up. What should I do to fix this?
Maybe such stubborn virus can be removed manually. Try this one: http://blog.teesupport.com/address-63-209-69-107-changed-homepage-manually-remove-63-209-69-107-google-redirection-completely/

Searching for song, brings you to location in library
I just upgraded to iTunes 10.5.2, and am most distraught over what I've found. When I search for a song and click play (while still in the "search" view, that is, only the songs that satisfy the search parameters are shown), and then x out of the search. A couple versions ago, closing the search would bring me right to the song highlighted or playing. More recently, closing the search brings me back to the top of my library, regardless of where the song being played is. I used to be able to hit the space bar twice to pause then play, and I would be brought to the song. Now even that does not work. Is there any way to restore this feature??? i can't even tell you how heavily i rely on this.
Okay... Are they still working on this new iTunes...?
Because now I have a new problem.
In the library, only purchased songs are showing up. And other songs I have, like say the ones I have on my ipod now that I got from my cds, aren't showing up in the library at all.
They're on my ipod... When you go under the ipod and go under 'On this ipod', they're all there...
But they only show up there.
I can't listen to em' on itunes. And I can't seem to get them over into my library...
Is there anyway to fix this, without having to manually go through and add them all over again...
I REALLY could use the help with this... -
For example access eBay with Firefox and launch a search on the word Frankenstein: you'll get something like 23,671 results (if you search in ''All categories''). Then quit the Firefox browser and load Microsoft Internet Explorer instead; access eBay again and repeat the very same search: this time you'll get 25,383 results. These are reral figures that I tried at 19:21 on March 20, 2014. Why does a search on eBay through Firefox report less hits than the very same search through Internet Explorer? Using Firefox rather than Microsoft Internet Explorer automatically means missing hits/results/items on eBay: that doesn't make sense but it does happen. Why is it so? Thank you, somebody, for shedding light on this problem.
Try this steps and try to load the same once again!!!
Hello,
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.
Further information can be found in the [[Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox]] article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
Thank you. -
Hi guys, I've been having troubles with my search bar for searching media in itunes. It worked a while ago but now when I search it brings up results and the results I want but it won't let me click them for anything. I can't go to the song, album or artist or add it to the song queue. It's really annoying to go through my library and search for a specific song without using the search. Please Help!
Thank You!you said you turned your phone off. was it a reboot, or an off? Ive noticed that if the memory is low and you have
a lot of apps or processes running, it really causes the system lag. Try holding down the top button and home button at the same time. Then wait until it has powered down. In 60 sec or so, restart it the same way. Should fix your issue. There is an app I use called Lite Scan. It allows me to see what is running and it will free up 30mg at a time. Not much granted but enuf to keep the system from going to a crawl.
as far as your device in itunes goes, open itunes, without your phone connected. look in the advance settings and make sure everything is as it should be. Back up your data and try again. good luck -

TREX Full Search via CV04N Displays DIR Hits While EasyDMS Search Shows All
Hello All,
I've searched for information on this and have not yet located an answer so I hope this has not already been addressed even though I think it is somewhat basic. We have recently installed EasyDMS and TREX to enhance our existing DMS capabilities. In our testing, we have found that EasyDMS's Full Text capability through TREX is reporting and displaying hits at the document file level whereas DMS CV04N Full Text capability is only showing hits at the document info record level. Is there something that we have missed for the DMS CV04N capability to not display in the same fashion as the EasyDMS search capability? For those users using CV04N, they will be disappointed to only find that the hit was at the DIR level and forcing them to find the document file that really contains the hit if multiple files exist in a DIR.
Thanks - RIchard.Hi Richard,
Please check whether you have done these configurations or not.
For text search you have activate TREX Server follow the steps
Set TREX
A:- Transaction: SRMO
Install TREX , and create RFC destination to connect to
TREX.
B:- Transaction: SKPR06
Check the flag to Document Area "DMS" to utilize this document area for
document search.
For Indexing
A: Transaction: SE38
Run the report program "RSTIRIDX_REINDEX" to create Index.
Also, run the report program "RSTIRIDX" to create Index.
Set mime type for the text search
A: SPRO --
Cross-Application Components > Document Management System > General
Data > Settings for Storage Systems > Create MIME types for full
text search,
Enter MIME type like
"application/msword",
"application/pdf".
Retrive document via Test Search
A: Then, test retrieval document search using
Transaction: SKPR07.
Enter Document Class "DMS_PCD1", Language "EN", Document Class "DMS",
and try "TEST search".

X5 Search of CHM producing excess hits
Using Search on a compiled X5 project for the words "sales
administration" in quotes, is producing dozens of hits in which
neither word appears. It is also finding topics that do contain
those words as well. Older versions of our project were searching
correctly. What can I do to correct this?I don't do much import but if you are trying to import 537
documents in one go, nothing would surprise me. Have you tried one
at a time or a small batch at a time?
The bug you point to arose in 6 and was fixed so it is not
relevant.
My guess is it is down to memory and that most PCs would
baulk at 537 documents in one go. -
When creating a GRC Request you have the option to Search for a Role, Profile, or Group.
What kind of group would I be searching for? Is this a group that is created on the back end of SAP? The only groups I can currently find are User Groups; and I know these aren't them.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
RyanI have been trying to find information on this for a while now...
Anyone here know this?
Thanks, regards
