BPEL Sensor problem

Hi guys,
I'm newbie here with oracle bpel. I'm creating a dashboard in the oracle BAM. I've already incorporated a sensor and sensor action in my bpel but once i've test sensor values gave me "null". It seems that the data which is supposedly populated in the database in not happening thus my data object in BAM has no entry.Hope you guys could help me in this problem.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Thanks for the reply.
I think theres a data in the field where i put the sensor the problem is that the data doesnt stored or copied in to the BAM data objects. By the way i'm doing the hello world as my prctice in creating a BAM sensor. Just want to populate the BAM data object with the input i've made in the hello world bpel process.
Thanks again..

  • GPU diode sensor problem?

    The GPU diode temperature is -128C  (temperature monitor) and blank (istatpro).
    After some heavy use, the two programs are showing some readings, but the GPU diode temperature is much lower than the others (CPU, Heatsink, etc).
    Is this a problem of the sensor?
    (macbookpro 17”, early 2011).
    Thnxs for your help.

    Hi,
    I know this is an old thread - but I came across it while searching for info as to why my precious MBP had the same issue. I believe I may have an answer, so wanted to post.
    I noticed that the bug is not related to iStat as every other temp app I have used says the same thing. I also know it's not a sensor problem as I have run the Apple diag disk and a friend of mine who works in an Apple shop took a look and he says there's no problem either.
    I downloaded gfxcardstatus as suggested in this thread, and I can see that when using the intel HD card, the temp is ~110c, when using the 330M it's ~50c, but here's the weird thing - when I try to switch to intel when certain apps are running, I get a warning saying that I cannot do this. If you click on the [Why?] button, you are taken to an explanation on the author's site, which says that the discreet card is never really turned off when certain apps are running - ie. 2 cards.... so I believe that the ~110c is a COMBINED reading for both cards which are running together but should not be. It's quite plausible that the intel HD would be running at ~60c, so there's your 110c.
    Here's a pic of the authors site explaining the issue -
    The best option would appear to be to keep it on the discreet card.
    I hope this helps put other's minds at rest!!
    PS. For me, the trigger apps are Little Snitch and iStat Menus.

  • Deploying bpel sensors as part of SOA archive

    Oracle documentation (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E25054_01/dev.1111/e10224/bp_sensors.htm) mentions about adding custom sensors as part of bpel project to have it deployed as part of SOA archive. However on following steps I am getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException exception.
    Can anyone guide me what I am missing ?
    Please note that by following instructions as mentioned in http://mazanatti.info/index.php?/archives/71-SOA-Suite-11g-fabric-logging-with-BPEL-sensors.html I am able to get sensors working but it is separate offline deployment for sensors.
    Thanks.

    Hi Ravi,
    I used the below script to deploy the ear.
    <wldeploy action="deploy" name="${application}" source="${apps.root}/${application}/deploy/${application}-${apps.version}.ear"
         user="${deploy.user}" upload="true"
         password="${deploy.password}" nostage="true" verbose="true"
         adminurl="t3://${deploy.host}:${deploy.port}" targets="${deploy.target}" />
    and below target to generate ear file.
    <target name="ear" >
         <echo>Building the ear file</echo>
         <ear destfile="${apps.root}/${application}/deploy/${application}-${apps.version}.ear" appxml="${apps.root}/${application}/adfmsrc/META-INF/application.xml">
         <fileset dir="${apps.root}/${application}/deploy" includes="*.war" />
    </ear>
    But I am getting the error
    Target state: deploy failed on Server AdminServer
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.adf.library.webapp.ResourceServlet
    I get the same error ih JDeveloper, If i try to deploy the war from project. But if i deploy it from Application view then there will be no error.
    There are lots of libraries, if I had to manually add it to the classpath in Ant script.
    Any idea to solve this issue from Ant scripts.
    Regards,
    Subhashini

    no, removing the screen protector and case doesnt help.
    there is a proximity sensor problem you can look by yourself theirs tons of users complaining
    even s.jobs at the time said there is a sensor problem and the bug will be fix in 4.1 update.

    for some reason apple do ignore this problem
    and Automatic maill System replayd my email and then i told them it didnt helped  they didn't answer back

  • What are different datatypes for bpel sensor variables

    I am in the process of implementing custom data publisher to be invoked from bpel sensor. I need to implement generic logic to parse the variable data and I have to depend to variable datatypes (ITVariableData.getDataType()) since the variables are available only in the form of "oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement" in the DataPublisher.
    I need to know available values for the datatype returned from ITVariableData.getDataType() method. Is there any document or link for the same ?

    Excuse me,
    I got the answer by testing the remote API
    And I have another question about the BPEL API which used in the console
    I have success construct the class com.oracle.bpel.client.Locator
    It providing a set of methods for invoking Oracle BPEL
    However, the methods always using WhereCondition as parameter
    therefore, I need to know about the database.
    1. Could anyone tell me where can I found the database schema?
    2. There are some deprecated APIs what is the preferred APIs of them?
    - IDeliveryService.SERVICE_NAME
    - IDeliveryService.request({Process}, {Operation}, {NormalizedMessage})
    - IDeliveryService.post({Process}, {Operation}, {NormalizedMessage})
    Thank you very much ^^

    After half an hour, BPEL will report below error log:
    ORABPEL-04067

    The process domain was unable to update the state of the invocation message "99e5b70b31758b56:3c0225db:126439fa400:48c0". The exception reported is: Io exception: Connection reset
    Please check that the machine hosting the datasource is physically connected to the network. Otherwise, check that the datasource connection parameters (user/password) is currently valid.
    sql statement: UPDATE invoke_message SET state = ? WHERE message_guid = ?
    I am not sure these two error has any relationship.
    But it is an issue that BAM sensor ofter report transaction time out.

    sorry, I forgot the below things which I tried to tune the JMS.

  • OS 4.1 on iPhone 4 still doesnt fix the proximity sensor problem!  and now?

    Dear Apple
    iPhone 4 ***** !!! 4.1 still doesnt fix the prox.sensor problems and every 2nd call or so is interrupted by this problem, how do fix it an what should I do now and what are you doing to fix it ????

    We are iphone users like you.
    As provided, you are not addressing Apple here.
    The iphone has a one year warranty. If yours is defective then Apple replace.
    Contact Apple to arrange for this.

  • Is apple ever going to respond to proximity sensor problems?

    apple has responded to the antenna problem, how about this one? i HATE my iphone becaus eof the proximity sensor problem. i hang up on calls all the time.

    I had the same problem. I took it to the Apple Store. The man helping me said that the sensor was hardware. No software fix he was aware of. I demonstrated the problem to him. He brought out a store phone to compare to. He simply said "I'm sold" and he brought me a new phone immediately. He also placed mine in a special case with my name printed out on the label to be sent to Apple so that they could examine the phone and try to learn more. Indeed, I believe that they are concerned, but I also believe that they will have to have more returns before it becomes a serious issue to them. By the way, my new phone is "better" but I still occasionally "Cheek dial" or hang up on people. I have found that sliding the phone back a bit so that my ear canal is not directly over the sensor works, and I can still hear the call. Hopefully a software fix WILL resolve this, since a reset has helped some.

  • Com.oracle.bpel.sensor.schemas

    Hi all,
    Can somebody tell me how to relate the different variables given in the API's of the package com.oracle.bpel.sensor.schemas with that of those visible through BPEL designer and BPEL console.

    Can any one help me on this issue.

  • IMac fan / sensor problem

    Hello!
    Some days ago I automatically sent my iMac to sleep via the "Energy Saver --> Schedule" menu in the systems preferences. When I woke it up the next morning, the CPU fan didn't just blow once and ran quietly in the background as usual, but it keeps blowing at max. speed which is really loud and annoying.
    So I went to search for the problem and found it right away possibly: the GPU heatsink temperature sensor constantly reports 126-127 degrees Celsius, which is quite impossible I ran the quick hardware test with the startup disk and got the following error code: 4SNS/1/40000000: TG0H-127.875 - which indicates a sensor problem as well I think.
    My question is, if there is anything I can do to regulate the fan or the sensor by software. All I found was several programs that can regulate the minimum rotation per minute, but not change the maximum. As there isn't really much damaged (as far as I know now just one out of three GPU sensors), it would be really annoying to have to let it repaired. I'm not playing graphics intensive games, so it won't ever get too hot.
    Anyway, right as it is now, it just freaks me out and just leaving it that way is clearly not an option.
    Thanks for your help
    Michael

    Yes I see what you mean all the other temps are fine so I think your original guess of a sensor problem is probably right. You are covered by warranty so I'd contact Apple to complain about it. BTW if you haven't already I would recommend purchasing AppleCare before your 1 year warranty is up.

  • BPEL sensor update to BAM: unknown runtime exception

    Hi,
    In my proyect I have a BPEL with several sensors that first insert a data object in BAM 10.1.3.3, and later update it with process stats.
    In a BAM Report I could see the inserted Data Object, but when I am expecting the update information it only appear several "unknown runtime exception" in red text in the foot of the report. But when I make a manual refresh or reopen the report, I could see the dataobject with the updated info OK.
    Also, in the Architect I always see the data object with the info OK.
    I think that are some problem with the Report Engine, but in the log don`t have info about this exception.
    Anybody has any idea about this error?
    thanks

    I think the Report had some problem. I made the report from the scratch with the same data object and the exception disapear.

  • BPEL / BAM problem scope variable

    Hi,
    I try to notice BAM from a BPEL Process.
    Actually my DataObject in BAM make lookups on the another one. So i have to notice 2 times BAM :
    - 1 for the DataObject which is the target of the lookup of the 2nd DataObject (that i call genericDO)
    - 1 for the DataObject which make lookups (specificDO)
    The reason for these 2 notifications is that lookup fields are readonly. I can't set values using my specificDO. So i have to insert 1 genericDO and then a sspecificDO.
    So to have to do 2 notifications.
    Now the real problem :
    On the activity, i place 1 Sensor which use 2 BAMSensorAction.
    Sensor (use 1 simple variable which contains 3 strings) :
    *<sensor sensorName="BAM_KO_Sensor" classname="oracle.tip.pc.services.reports.dca.agents.BpelActivitySensorAgent" kind="activity" target="Invoke_signalerErreur">*
    *<activityConfig evalTime="all">*
    *<variable outputDataType="notification" outputNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/NotificationBAM" target="$notification"/>*
    *</activityConfig>*
    *</sensor>*
    My 2 BAMSensorAction :
    *<action name="BAM_KO_SensorAction" publishName="OracleBam" publishType="BAM" enabled="true">*
    *<property name="bamDataObjectKey"></property>*
    *<property name="batchStatus">false</property>*
    *<property name="batchLowerLimit">100</property>*
    *<property name="batchTimeout">500</property>*
    *<property name="bamTransform">bam/BAM_SensorAction.xsl</property>*
    *<property name="bamServer">http://s-bam-dev:80/OracleBAM/DataObject/DataObjectOperations.asmx</property>*
    *<property name="batchDefault">true</property>*
    *<property name="bamOperation">Insert</property>*
    *<property name="bamDataObject">/DE/Activation/IntegrationProcess</property>*
    *<property name="batchUpperLimit">500</property>*
    *<sensorName>BAM_KO_Sensor</sensorName>*
    *</action>*
    *<action name="BAM_KO_Process_SensorAction" publishName="OracleBam" publishType="BAM" enabled="true">*
    *<property name="bamDataObjectKey"></property>*
    *<property name="batchStatus">false</property>*
    *<property name="batchLowerLimit">100</property>*
    *<property name="batchTimeout">500</property>*
    *<property name="bamTransform">bam/BAM_Process_SensorAction.xsl</property>*
    *<property name="bamServer">http://s-bam-dev:80/OracleBAM/DataObject/DataObjectOperations.asmx</property>*
    *<property name="batchDefault">true</property>*
    *<property name="bamOperation">Insert</property>*
    *<property name="bamDataObject">/DE/ProcessTransverse/Process</property>*
    *<property name="batchUpperLimit">500</property>*
    *<sensorName>BAM_KO_Sensor</sensorName>*
    *</action>*
    I deploy the process without compilation problem.
    And at runtime, the instance works well, i can see the 1st Insert in BAM, but the 2nd one is never done. In the log i can see that the 1st one is flushed, but i have this error for the 2nd one :
    *<2009-05-12 14:17:20,775> <ERROR> <default.collaxa.cube.sensor> <DataRouter::send> error*

    All what i can say is that i never declare any variable with bamserver.hostname key. The only spot in all my process where this value can be seen is the bpel.xml :
    *<preferences>*
    *<property name="bamserver.hostname" encryption="plaintext">s-bam-dev</property>*
    *<property name="bamserver.protocol" encryption="plaintext">http</property>*
    *</preferences>*
    Seems like a variable is declared by the 1st SensorAction, and the 2nd one try to declare it again...
    Any ideas on the problem ?

    Hi,
    Thx for the response.
    Actually there's no variable declaration visible in the bpel.xml. It was the first thing that i have look for, regarding to the exeption.
    That's why i suppose that there's some sort of runtime variable declaration by the BAM sensor. No certitude on this...
    And yes, when you place the two BAMSensorAction on two Sensors which are on activities in separate scopes... it works.
    Finally i avoid the problem doing something like that :
    <ScopeForBAMNotification>
    <ScopeForNotification1>Empty activity 1 with 1 sensor activity which use 1 sensorBAMAction</ScopeForNotification1>
    <ScopeForNotification2>Empty activity 1 with 1 sensor activity which use 1 sensorBAMAction</ScopeForNotification2>
    </ScopeForBAMNotification>
    Not pretty, but works...

  • Magnetic Carry Case + Proximity Sensor Problem

    I noticed a problem with magnetic carry case and the proximity sensor being disabled in 10.1 for my Z10 STL100-3 as well as my wife's STL100-1.
    When removing the phone from the case, to make or answer a call, the sensor is disabled. Thus, you easily touch the keys with your face. When NOT using the magnetic carry case, no issue. Seems like the magnetic sensor was disabling the proximity sensor.
    Now, using 10.2, it appears the problem has been resolved. But will monitor over the next few days.

    Who installed the new screen? You should take the phone back to them and have them fix it.

  • Proximity Sensor Problem

    I have a problem with proximity sensor, it is very sensible to sunlight. To understand better what i am talking about look at this video posted by someone who has the same problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvbkVY_sFYc. This happens for either incoming or outgoing calls..
    What could be the cause of this problem?
    Thank's in advance..

    there really is not anythig that you can do about it.
    unfortunately, the sensor is doing what it should. though that doesnt solve the issue.
    in some cases it is worse then others.

  • Proximity sensor problem -- direct contact with fabric confuses it

    On the Twom (and I'd guess the Onem), if the prox. sensor is covered and the phone is locked, it disables all of the phone's buttons until the prox. sensor is uncovered. This is a good thing, because it means the volume can't accidentally be changed in your pocket so long as the phone was locked before it went in your pocket.
    Here's my problem: at any small distance, the prox. sensor works exactly as it should, whether facing skin, fabric, whatever. However, if the phone is brought into direct contact with certain fabrics (like denim on my jeans), the prox sensor fails to "see" this and all the buttons remain active. This means that in my pocket, where the phone is fully in contact with the fabric, it usually still lets the ringer volume change and the phone unlock.
    Anyone else notice this behavior with their phone, or is it just mine?

    you got it right. The sensor sends out a signal, a light, that you can see if you push any of the buttons with the phone locked in low light. My guess as to how it works is it sends out a low-frequency signal, perhaps infared/borderline red light, and if it is reflected back, it recognizes it as being 'covered'. Because it is low-frequency/low-power, it only will recieve the signal back from very short distances. True, most fabric won't block it. If you're wearing tight jeans/pants, then it does work if you put hte screen-side against your leg. But what i did was file down the volume keys anyways. They sit about half as high as they were originally, and now it is very hard for them to be accidentally changed, but they still can be pushed for the camera zoom, or volume change, when i want.
