BPM error at BLock step name

hello experts,
i am working on BPM scenario,
in that i have few block steps..... one of block step, the step name is displaying the error.
saying that the step name is already exists.
but i have changed, then also it displaying the same error.
can any body help me in this regard??

Delete the block and recreate it. It will automatically assign it a unique name.

Hi all,
I am getting the error in block step, my design follows like this i defined one transformation before block step, the transformation step will splits the input bunch of records into equal no of record packets and sent to block step.. while defining block step i used foreach mode, in block step we kept one sync send step which will send message and gets response ....
but my block step is getting error once message enters into the block...

The transformation splits the message into bunch.. Put the output in a multiline container and use this in the block step...

BPM error at send step

hi experts,
In a simple File to File using BPM Scenario, messages are processed up to send step (only 2 steps are there recv and send). The receive side is okay. i can monitor the messages that are being picked up in the monitor. In adapter both sender and receiver adapters are showing green.
How to trouble shoot inside BPM errors; i tried SXMB_MONI -> selected PE from the message -> chose graphical description, where it shows red and an error in the send step.
the SXMB_MONI shows error in outbound message side. and the pipeline stops at Call Adapter.

Others are working.
see, this is a simple scenario File BPM File and it uses simple message type and interface too. The interface mapping working fine. The Integration Process uses no correlations, just transferring the file as it is. IP is checked(F7) no errors found. when running, it picking the file and upto call Adapter it is working. in the SXMB_Moni it shows error in the outbound (PE) status. When we check it in the WorkFlow diagram, it shows error in the send step as Adapter Framework Server, still other scenarios are working fine with the BPM.

BPM Error: Synchronous Send Step

Hi All,
I am getting the below error in the synchronous send step of my BPM.
Interface urn:Haworthinc.com:India_Tax SIAA_IndiaTax_DBSelect_TICUSEXT has multiple operations
I am trying to send a query and get data from a table in this step. I have an abstract synchronous interface attached to this step and I have an inbound synchronous interface at the configuration side as the receiver for the BPM sync. interface.
The errored out interface is the abstract interface used as the response message at the BPM sync step.
Does anyone has encountered this before?

BPM Error in Transformation Step: Interface Mapping not found

Hi,
Can you help me on this? I have a tranformation step in my BPM that combines a request and response message of a previous Send step to create a Source message for the next Send step. However, on my transformation step, I got the mapping error in workflow log: Interface mapping http://gl.euhreka.com/learning/skillsoft/catalogSy.YGLXI_OM_MergeRequestAndHandleResponseAB_To_PollFo (SWCV=DF8549309ECE11DFB58DF3570A341E0F) not found
Do you have any idea about this error? My mapping program is working fine. I also checked if the container elements assigned to the transformation steps are correct.
Can you suggest of other way on how can I achieve on merging 2 messages (request and response) and set it to the Request for another send step?

I already solved the problem. The namespace and Operation mapping name is too long that's why it cannot be located at runtime.
After the rename, another error appeared.
"Incorrect XML format after mapping: Root-Tag expected instead of Messages"

ParforEach Mode in Block Step in BPM

Hi All,
We designed a BPM with a block step in Parforeach mode.
For this block step, a multiline container is the Input.It has all the messages to be processed in parallel. But during runtime this block step is not processed in parallel mode.The messages are processed one after the other in sequential mode.Only different instances of the block step are generated but they are processed sequentially.
Any suggestions!!!

A ParForEach is not a means of improving performance. A ParForEach will not result in a split into threads.
Could this be the reason?

Problem with timeout exception on a block step

Hi there, i have a BPM with a block step that has a 1 minute duration timeout, when i see the steps on the sxmb_moni_bpe the block deadline is being reached after 2:50 more or less, on the block i have an infinite loop with a receive step, does anybody knows why is taking more than expected?, how can i fix it?, thanks for all the help on the matter,

This may be due to some missed runtime environment parameters.
Go to trans - SWU3
In Maintain Runtime Environment
Execute the following activities :-
1. Schedule background job for missed deadline
2. Schedule background job for deadline Monitoring
Also have a look at sap note 1117735, if you are not able to execute the above activities.

BPM Collect Pattern: N:1 Mapping error in trnsformation step

Dear All,
I am using collect pattern Payload Dependant.
I have one source data type and one target data type. Mapping is one to one.
Data type contains 3 fields, Value Name and Surname.
In Loop I have used condition when Counter is equal to value stop the loop.
I have used Transformation step as I am using N:1 mapping.
I have used abastrct to abastract message mapping.
Source message is 0 to unbounded.
In interface mapping target message occourance is 1. But in mapping program target message occourance is 0 to unbounded.
When I am running my scenario, Third party to IP is working fine. But in IP i am getting error in transformation step.
"com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformation: Cannot produce target element /ns0:Messages/ns0:Message1/ns1:Collect_Receiver_MT. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd at com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf3.AMappingProgram.start"
Can anybody will help me to solve this problem?

BPM error:Container element in step transformation is not initialized

Hello Experts,
I am new to the concept of BPM.
I'm trying to create an integration process in which I'm taking an Idoc and processing it in many ways. The process contains many transformation steps. There two such transformation steps which have been placed in block step in a fork. And i get this error: Container element XXX in step transformation is not initialized
What could be the problem?

if u are getting the messaga with red sigh then it means it will craete the error while running the scenario.
but if it is in blue then i think it will not create any error.
the meaning of that statement is that the container u have defind is not used anywhere. it is just giving u a warning message.

Error in send step in BPM

Hello,
I ehanced an existing BPM where a send step sends data to a J2EE system. I inserted a switch and put the existing send step to one branche and a new send step to the otherweise-branche. The new send step interrupt with an error:

But there is an exception branche defined. An idea what's the problem?
I didn't define a message called hostname, so where he got this name from?

Outbound Scheduler (Transaction SMQS)
If the Outbound Scheduler is responsible for sending and executing these LUWs, and the logon data in transaction SM59 in the destination is incomplete, then any subsequent LUW calls might be executed under the logon data of a previous user. This occurs if the destination scheduler is already running under another user when the LUW is called and no logon data is maintained in transaction SM59. In this case, the destination scheduler runs under the user that started the scheduler (and this user's language). This means the destination scheduler runs under the wrong logon data, as does the processing of the subsequent LUWs.
Until now, destinations could only be registered in the Outbound Scheduler if the logon data (client, user, password, language) had been defined completely in transaction SM59 (if LUWs always needed to be processed under a specific user and language). Destinations with incomplete logon data could be registered only if the user and language was not important. In addition, some internal destinations (NONE/SPACE) do not allow you to enter a user or language in transaction SM59. For this reason, and for tRFC compatibility, you can only register these destinations in the Outbound Scheduler with the optional Without tRFC flag.

Issue in File to RFC to File Scenario with BPM using Block Step

Hi Everybody,
                       I am doing File to RFC to File Scenario for multiple records using BPM using Block Step. The File Message is getting posted and after that, the message is getting stuck up in the qRFC Monitor (Inbound Queue).
                    After seeing the message in Inbound Queue, I am trying to execute and release the message. But when i execute the LUW, it says " Function module doesnt exist or EXCEPTION raised" in Inbound queue.
Could somebody suggest me the outcome of this? What does this mean and how to
release the stuck up message in Queue.

BPM Scenario Block Step

Hi All,
In my scenario iam getting a message through RFC.Now i have to split the messsage into multiple messages and then send each message individually to a webservice and get the response.
I want to send them in Parallel mode by using Block step - Parforeach mode.
Following are the steps in my BPM.
1.Receive step - Open Syn/Async Bridge
2. Transformation step to split the message into multiple messages.
3.Opened a block in parforeach mode
4.Send step in synchronous mode
6.Collect the response in container.
7.Ouside the block close the ync/Async bridge.
When i exceute the scenario, i only see one message in SXMB_MONI which is from R3 system and even that message does not indicate what the problem is.The message recahed the BP engine.
Unable to figure out what the problem is.

Block step in BPM

Hi Experts,
I am facing a problem in BPM,
1) Receive the Message
2) Split the Message
3) Block starts
    a) Synchronous send to RFC
    b)Response from this is send to Send step
In this scenario, the Message is going upto "BLOCK" step, and from there it is not geting executed correctly. To my surprise in SXMB_MONI, the message going to BPM succesfully and no other message found from BPM to any system(either synchronous send / send).
Can you please help me in identifying the problem.

Problem is solved.
Multi mapping is not giving target element. It is solved when we chnaged the input payload format, from,

to
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ns0:Sender_SI xmlns:ns1="namespace">

By this change the Mapping worked and scenario is running succesfully.

Hi,
Block step is similar to what we use curly braces in most of the languages which defines the scope. For example if we are using loop step in bpm to loop through some variable then we can use block step to restrict the scope of loop step up to some point.
