BPM finishes when reaching exception in loop block

Hi everybody,
we got a loop block in BMP. In the loop block we catch mapping errors by using an exception branch.
What we can see is that when an exception is thrown the process steps into the exception branch an than is leaving the loop block!! So the remaining single messages are not processed!
Is there a workaround?

Hi Mario,
Have you used the local correlation for block step.
Can you please give steps you used in BPM, also try to see the below threads

  • Cycle / Loop Drops Notes when reaching end of loop

    Hi there!
Very annoying situation seems that when I first create a song, put a cycle/loop on four bars (cycle range) it goes round and round fine, no drop outs.
I picked up a song I did three days ago, changed nothing and it seems when it gets to end of 4th bar and goes back to first bar I get drops/pauses sending midi notes to my synth. As I have jam pack layeers in the song, if I mute the midi, I realise that the jam pack layers sound as they should do - it's just the midi that skips/drops.
If I take off the cycle range and loop the layers then there are no drops. Any ideas would be much ly appreciate, this is rather pain!!
    Many thanks,
    Philippe

I have had this happen sometimes. It depends on what "voice" your MIDI notes are playing. Some of them have things like reverb and echo on them that require the playhead to move beyond the region to output the sound. Sometimes you will only get the sound cut off too quickly.
If you move the cycle region beyond the end of the segment you should be able to hear the notes.

  • Exception inside a block [BPM]

I have send step and exception branch inside block.
But my exception handler is always triggered independently of sucess/error of my send step.
Could anybody explain How do exception branch work?
Where do I find good BPM documentation? I can't find the full documentation with answer on my question.
Blogs are good but they are not enough
    help.sap.com is't enough too.

  • Help!  EJB exceptions become nullPointers when reaching JSP level

When an exception is thrown in EJB and propagated up to JSP level, it becomes a null pointer. Still works fine when exception is thrown on JSP level.
If somebody has had similar problem and knows a workaround, I would greatly appretiate any help.

Hi could you elaborate a little. I'm a little confused first you said at JSP level
it becomes a null pointer, then you say it works fine.
I had similar problems before when the exception object in my error pages
was null. Funny thing is that if the exception is thrown early enough in the
life of the JSP, then the getMessage() and printStackTrace() methods
work fine. However after some significant output to the JspWriter it
becomes null (e.g. after including some files).
I made a previous post regarding this and there was no response.

  • Getting a mapping error to propogate from loop block within I.P.

OK I kinda asked the question as a sub topic under a different heading SXMB_MONI_BPE -> Message Payload not visible in container but didnt really get an answer I'm happy with, so here goes as a main topic!
    The short description:
I have a mapping step that must reside in a loop block, any mapping errors I want propogated back up to the main container so that they error and appear in the trace within SXMB_MONI in the same visibly obvious way as a mapping step that is not inside a block does.
    The long description:
I have an Integration Process which splits a source message, then maps the individual messages produced within a forEach block. Unfortunately when there is a mapping error within the block, it does not propogate any meaningful information back to the message trace. Instead it just fails in smq2 with permanent error in inbound bpe processing.
When I search in SXMB_MONI_BPE there are no process steps returned, as though the  IP was never called by the BPE.
When I put the whole thing inside a block with an exception path that has an alert step, I do get process steps returned in sxmb_moni_bpe. When I examine the list with technical details I cannot see any "payload" under the table of messages that has been split out, therefor I cannot debug the mappings of individual messages I am looping on.  I have LOGGING, LOGGING_PROPOGATION and LOGGING_SYNC set to 1, and TRACE_LEVEL set to 3 for my IE.
    I have 2 scenarios/requirements:
    1) I put the uncaught mapping exception in the loop blook, and the error is propogated back up and the smq2 error is subsequently not produced (like it would behave if the mapping step was not inside any blocks).
    2) I catch exceptions and raise an alert and then the logging is enhanced sufficiently to enable the individual messages the loop block is looping on to be viewed within the container in sxmb_moni_bpe->list with technical details.
The only place I can see the error is in the defaultTrace log file, which is obviously not a suitable method for productive use.  Any solution needs to be usable in day-to-day administration of a production system, even though this is a dev issue at present!
    Thanks,
    James.

I have used this for throwing smart exceptions in SXMB_MONI

Not sure if it would work in this instance...

  • Using third part loops in Logic : bpm changes not following by the loop

i use lots of third part loops. with other audio soft when i choose a loop and drag/drop it to my project, the loop follow every change of the project (for exemple changing the bpm). In logic, when i do so, the loop do not follow project changes such as bpm.
Someone do knows how to fix my problem ?

I just found that you can drag/drop your third part loops from the Finder window where they are to the "Media/loops library" in Logic. By this way Logic recignize your loop as apple loop. But it works for apple loop third part loop and not for wav third part loop. For those you have to transform them by the "Apple loops utility" given with Logic. It's a bit long with big loops database but it's the first way I found.
If someone know a quicky way, I'm interested

  • Exceptions in popup blocking not work good

why sub-domains in exceptions in popup blocking not work? if i add a particular subdomain it works, but when i add an star in subdomain to do for all not work:
    *.mihanblog.com
    *.blogfa.com
//// Please add image upload on post feature to Firefox's support ////
//// Also add a suggestion forum to Firefox's support (like Chrome's forums) ////
    Thanks

Do not add a * because Firefox doesn't support wildcard that way.<br />
Just specify the domain to apply the exception to a domains and all sub domains.
*Bug 336207 - Add wildcards to cookie exceptions list to permit subdomains if all cookies are blocked

  • Intensive slider control use may lead to LabVIEW hang and system instability when coupled to event loop "Value Change"

Occasionally, over the past year or two, I have noticed on different machines and versions of LabVIEW (8.0 and 8.5) that intensive operation of the LabVIEW slider control (holding down the left mouse button and shaking the mouse quickly back and forth to move the slider for several seconds) may cause LabVIEW to hang with high CPU usage (50% on my current test machine, which has a Pentium IV "hyperthreaded" processor, so 50% is the max that a single thread can take up). In some instances, after the LabVIEW process is forced to quit, the system itself becomes unstable (more high CPU usage) or hangs, up to and including the need for a hard restart. I have seen this behavior both when handling slider change events the "old fashioned" way with a while loop and a case structure; and also when using a while loop with an event structure handling the "Value Change" event for the slider.
Attached is an .rtf file dump of the front panel and block diagram of a simple test VI that replicates this problem in my hands (using an event structure). The loop count runs to at least several hundred iterations before the crash occurs.
At least for the "old fashioned" loop handling method, adding a forced wait of a few dozen msec per loop didn't seem to be a workaround. I haven't tried this idea with the event structure, but don't expect joy to follow. The possibility of a system hang discourages aggressive experimentation.
Is this a known issue? Can anyone else replicate it (carefully)? In any case, I'd welcome other suggestions for workarounds.
    Thanks,
    Darin Nelson

Thanks for all your responses, and especially to those who are waggling their mice around trying to reproduce this. I'll respond to (most aspects of) the last several posts in one message.
    LabViewGuruWannabe:
I'll see if I can get the original code to post in a separate message, I posted the .rtf originally because I thought there might be filtering on forum posts (I'm sort of new here). But I doubt you re-created it wrong.
The "more modern" test hardware was an Intel Core2 , 2.4 GHz, 2Gb RAM, on an Intel 965 family motherboard. As I said, it took me two tries to trigger the error on this hardware; in the case where it triggered, I was at almost 12000 iterations before things went south. 10000 iterations, therefore, might not be enough--or you might never get it, for all I know. My Pentium 4 Hyperthreaded machine (3.2 GHz, 2 Gb RAM) triggers the hang much more easily (always within 2500 iterations, usually within 1000), so there seems to be some hardware dependence here. Maybe the workaround is just to use hardware recent enough that no one not under the influence of strange compulsions will accidentally trigger the hang.
    TonP:
After reading your suggestion, I tried something even more radical  -- getting rid of the handling code altogether. I took the slider node out of the while loop, and removed all code inside the "Slide" case of the event structure.
On my Pentium 4 machine, the hang triggered after 677 iterations.

Huh, I never even noticed that checkbox existed. Anyway, yes, I

  • How do I disable "Exceptions" button for "Block pop-up windows" in Content tab?. I am able to Disable other Exception buttons in this tab using about:config preference.

Need a way to disable "Exception" button for "Block Pop-up windows" in Tools-> Options -> Content tab. I want to be able to do this for Locking Down Firefox preferences.
    == User Agent ==
    Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; SLCC2; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0)

That button doesn't have a pref associated with it, so you can't disable that button with a pref on the about:config page or a lockPref call.
That only leaves the choice to remove that button with code in userChrome.css

  • How do I get Firefox to display the information bar when a pop up is blocked I accidentally clicked on "Don't show this message when pop-ups are blocked" when a pop up was blocked. How do I get this message to reappear again when a pop up is blocked?

I just updated Firefox but can't get it to display the message when a pop-up is blocked. Most times I want them blocked but sometimes I need them enabled.

You can see a pop-up block icon in the right corner of the Status Bar if you have chosen to hide the information bar at the top.
You can left-click that pop-up block icon on the Status Bar and remove the check mark from "Don't show info message when pop-ups are blocked"
You can look at these prefs on the '''about:config''' page and reset them via the right-click context menu:
    Status bar icon: browser.popups.showPopupBlocker
Info bar at the top: privacy.popups.showBrowserMessage
To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

  • How can I get my ES2 loops to play correctly? I keep getting the message that the audio is not found when I drag the loops from my audio browser even though they play fine in the preview.

How can I get my ES2 loops to play correctly? I keep getting the message that the audio is not found when I drag the loops from my audio browser even though they play fine in the preview.

It's exactly as I stated. Whenever I try to drag these kinds of loops (ESX24 / software instrument loops? the ones marked in green with the white music note next to them) from the loop browser into the timeline a message comes up saying Audio Not Found for that loop.  And a new track is created automatically when loops are dragged into the timeline, so I'm not creating some other random / synth instrument track so I'm not sure  what the deal is... But perhaps I'll try creating a software instrument track first and then drag the loop into that track and see what happens - maybe there's something with the default settings that automatically creates audio tracks whenever loops are imported?

  • Credit exposure updating even when the sales order is blocked

    Hi,
We are using FSCM credit management. We observed that the credit exposure is updated even when the sales order is blocked. When we investigated it is found out that SD has removed the requirement 101 in the subsequent functions. The reason is they want the confirmed quantity to be updated even though the order is blocked. This will allow the Material Planning to go ahead and purchase the goods. Is there a way around it where we can have MM see the confirmed quantity in the order and it will not updated the credit exposure?
    Thanks and Regards
    Madhu Vutukuri

    Hi Sravan,
Please let us know, whether the document is really getting reflected in the blocked documents list for a particular kind of block and you are releasing that particular block in the specified area as we have different areas for releasing blocks. Chances are that in the mean time, the concerned block might have been removed in the system and not updated as it might have been. It will be of great help, if you can provide us with the screenshots of the process followed.

what status is assigned to a EDI doc when a delivery block is assigned to a sales order in EDI environment.
How we can activate display of text messages when a EDI doc is blocked.

    Hi
While creating sales order through IDoc Environment, in which segment it checks that there is a delivery block in the sales order or not, if a sales order is in blocked state, we cannot process further, so what is the status given to IDoc in such a scenario.
If order is in blocked state then how and where we can configure a text message (for communication to customers) which will display that the order is in block state for so and so reason.
