    Hi,
Are you using parameterized mapping or RFC lookup in your mapping???? If yes, please make sure that you are passing the parameter in the interface determination instead of null value.
Also verify whether your cache is updated  with the latest GUID of your mapping program or not.

    Priyanka.

  • Integrtion Scenario using BPM with two sender and multiple receiver

integrtion Scenario using BPM with two sender and multiple receiver
How many Application Components are required?

    Hi Vinod,
    1) In integration repository you can have one or many software components it depends on your landscape orchestration
    2) In integration direcory you need at least one service for bpm and one or many for each system in your bpm
also each connection between systems and bpm must have receiver determination and so on.
Advice: Please treat BPM as a separate system.

  • Integrate a BPM with a Webservice of SAP XI.

    Hi experts,
We want to integrate a BPM with a Websevice published in SAP XI.
The BPM sends messages synchronous (abstract interface) to a Business Service that receives a message synchronous (inbound interface).
For the integration of these services is necessary to set up a Receiver Agreement with a Communication Channel of type SOAP Receiver.
    My questions are:
Why should the communication takes place between SAP XI I have to set up a channel SOAP?
Is there any way to send messages from a BPM to a service SAP XI (Webservice / Interface) in an efficient manner?
    Thanks,
    Jose.

To deploy the wsdl file in XI,
You can connect to XI server by using the End Point URL as
The SOAP Sender uses the XI Server URL as below
    http://<server>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=<party>:<service>:<channel>
Service & channel indicates the Sender SOAP adapter in XI to be used..and will direct to integration server.

    Hi,
I need to configure my BPM with 2 LDAP. Is it possible?
Or maybe can I use LDAP and Manual User? When I configure BPM using LDAP, I can't Add Participant manually again. Is it possible if I want to use LDAP and also can Add user manually?
    Thanks.

I am working on BPM 11g. I have configured AD in WebLogic server (10.3.3). When I login to BPM workspace as administartor and go to Administartion tab there I can see Deployed processes. For these processes when I try to add the Roles I couldn't find AD users here I can only see jazan users.
Do I need to any other configuration?
Please let me know if you need further any information.

  • How can I design a BPM with mulitiple IDOC types as sender

    Hi Experts,
      I am using PI 7.1
I have a senario that I have to design a BPM in such a way that I will get different IDOC types as sender while the receive step has to trigger the the respective IDOC types at run time.
For example: when matmas is the IDOC the BPM instance have to trigger only the respective Abstract interface at runtime.
In my senario I have 5 IDOC TYPES which should pick the related one using a single Abstract Interface in the same design( one BPM ).
Is this possible. Please suggest me how can I do this if possible.
    Regards
    Shankar.

    Hi,
you could work with multiple receive steps that triggering the process.
Similar to the example pattern in SAP Basis BpmPatternSerializeMultipleTrigger
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/77/0737133012b24b9d0a12c6df2b1054/frameset.htm
In the fork step you could set the number of required branches to 1 that means only one receiving IDoc is required to leave the fork step.
    Regards
    Patrick

  • BPM with conditional start not getting triggered

    Hi
I have developed a BPM which collects a few IDocs with a correlation based on the message content.
When triggering the BPM in Development, everything works as intended. (Messages are collected together based on the value of the correlation)
After this we decided to transport the BPM to Test by using NWDI. The deployment was successful, but when we try to run the scenario, the message gets delivered successfully in the monitor, but no BPM process is being triggered.
    Audit log in monitor:
I've tried the same with the BPM in Dev but there it works fine, when trying in Test or Production, the BPM isn't getting triggered. Same when trying to trigger the process through the WS Navigator or SoapUI.
The endpoint url we use is always the: http://host:port/MessagingSystem/receive/JPR/XI
I can see the process in the process repository (but due to a conditional start, I cannot start it from there with a test).
Do you have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?
I can see nothing in the NWA Logs / Developer Traces either.
    Our system is a PO 7.40 SP5.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Nicolas

    Hi Nick
    thanks for the quick reply.
The runtime version of the BPM is indeed the same for DEV and TEST.
The BPM Actions don't show anything unfortunately, so doesn't seem to have triggered anything.
The user has the SAP_BPM_TRIGGER_EVENT role so it should be able to trigger the process.
The NWA Logs don't show up anything besides:
    JPR successfully processed the message
And the following logs for the BPM:
Returned destination xxxx.com/collectlabel~bpm*1400504350735*0, type WSProvider to user xxxx
I can see the BPM Service in running state on the Java Services/Applications as well, so I would think everything is alright.

  • Problem in BPM with long loop

    Hi,
I have "Integration Process" which reads data items from DB table and sends it to webserive.
Webservice accepts only 1 item of data, so I have loop in bpm interating through every data item and calling webservice.
The process works fine with no errors, but if number of loop iterations exceeds some number (like 100 or somthing close to that) the process cannot go to "completed" status. It goes through all iterations, sends all data and just hanging in system with status=started. When i'm trying to delete it with SWWL transaction i got dump. I also see same dump from user WF-BATCH occuered exactly the same time the process excpected to go to completed state.
    Error analysis
Short text of the error message:
"Exception CX_SY_NO_HANDLER triggered by CL_SWF_XI_INSTANCE============CP in
line 1 with text: An exception with the type CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB occurred, but
was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause"
Any ideas how to resolve this problem?

  • ABAP Proxy and BPM with message maping

    Hi all,
    I have a scenario like :
ABAP Client Proxy ( synch )
->    BPM  ( to retriggr SOAP call and raise alerts with error and reponse back to Abap client )
    -> message mapping
    -> SOAP ( synch )
    1. What can be the issues with this scenario ?
    2. How can I return response and excetion back to ABAP client from BPM ?

    >
    > As per design guidelines for consistent processes -
    > we need to do all the error handling and alerts in
    > BPM.
You mean you are planning to use a BPM for all Interfaces just because someone told so? Why use a BPM when there is no need for it. If you have a Business Process that demands a BPm then yes use it, but for this sceanrio, you can use Fault messages to propaggate the error back to the R3 system, and use the Xi alerts ( without BPM ) if a runtime error occurs etc.
Is there some Business Process Involved here? What is the exact requirement?

  • Messages in BPM with Status Waiting

    Hi,
I have created BPM for Message Collect like the standard SAP Pattern BpmPatternCollectMessage. But for terminating Message I’ve used Message type (Message interface) different from the Message type in the main Fork section. I thought that it is possible correlation between two message Interfaces with different Message types?
Any way I had an Error in my BPM and after a test the Status for my Messages is Successful for inbound and Waiting (Message being sent) for Outbound. All my Messages are collected in a Queue, Wait step is created but BPM don’t proceed further.
So I’ve made some changes in my BPM and tried with a new Test but it works with the old Version of the BPM and collects the Messages in the same Queue. So any idea how can I use the new BPM version? Should I Delete Manually the old Messages with Status Waiting or there is also different way?
    Thanks
    Naycho

    >>>I thought that it is possible correlation between two message Interfaces with different Message types?
    yes it is
    >>>>All my Messages are collected in a Queue, Wait step is created but BPM don’t proceed further.
have you registered queues on XI? TCODE - SXMB_ADM - manage queues ?
    >>>Test but it works with the old Version of the BPM and collects
try looking at: SXI_CACHE - integration process- check if your new process has 0 status - activated

  • BPM with variable number of initial receive steps

    Hi guys,
I have a scenario where an external Web Server sends XML messages over HTTP to XI.
It may be the case that the number of messages that concern a single request is one, two or three.
Messages are correlated through a unique key.
Since this is HTTP communication I do not need neither sender agreements nor sender communication channels.
How could this be implemented with BPM ?
Of course the sender system should specify the complete URL name when submitting the request(s).
    Evaggelos

Configure ur BPM as payload dependent or message-dependent. In payload dependent, u will have to specify the no of messages. In message dependent, u ll have to specify the indicator in message indicating the end of messages.

  • Sync Web Service - BPM with 2 sync proxy calls error.

    Hi.
Have a sync web service going into a BPM.
In the BPM there ar 2 sync calls towards a system making a credit check.
The answer is responded to the web service.
In our QA system the solution works perfect.
I transported the solution to production and when I test the web service call towards I get the following error.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>

      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:Stack>Timeout condition of pipeline reached</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
Does anybody have an idea why I get the error.
When I check my config everything looks the same.
Looks like we never send the first sync call to the proxy when I check in SXMB_MONI and the BPM gets terminated.
We have just migrated the solution from XI 3.0 to PI 7.11.

    Hi.
How will that help if we do not send the message.
When I check the graphics in SXMB_MONI the error occours befor we send the first message with proxy.
    Also extend ASYNC timeout?
    We are using sync communication.

  • Integrating BPM with WebCenter Content

To integrate UCM and BPM, I followed this tutorial written by J@n van Zoggel.
At the moment, I've already set up everything exactly as instructed in the tutorial. However, when I viewed a task in BPM Workspace, I still cannot see the Attachment section. In the log, I saw the following error:
Ensure that credential store map WF-ADMIN-USER with key WF-ADMIN-CREDENTIAL
contains UCM server admin username/password. Also ensure that Workflow configuration parameter
UcmIdcUrl contains IDC socket connection url to connect to UCM server and UCM server has permission
to let SOA server connect to it using IDC protocol.
    access denied ("oracle.security.jps.service.credstore.CredentialAccessPermission" "context=SYSTEM,mapName=WF-ADMIN-USER,keyName=WF-ADMIN-CREDENTIAL" "read")]]
One thing I'd like to ask is that in all tutorials or articles I've read, the authors are always testing in the environment in which both the UCM and BPM servers are on the same machine. In my case, I am trying to connect my local BPM server with the online WebCenter Content server of my company, I wonder if I have to make any additional settings for this to work. A few pictures of my current settings are shown below.
I'd be very grateful if you could share with me your experience in integrating BPM and UCM.
    Best regards,
    James Tran
P/S: My environment is SOA Suite 11.1.1.7 and WebCenter 11.1.1.7
    1. UcmIdcUrl setting:
    2. WF-ADMIN-USER key map:
    3. WebCenter Content IP Filter:

I don't believe that noone has ever tried to connect the local BPM environment to a remote WCC server before. Please let me know if you've ever experienced the same problem. Otherwise, even a simple "I tried to do the samething and I succeeded using the same steps in the tutorial" would help too .
Another thing is that yesterday, I talked to the tech-lead and I learned that our WCC server environment doesn't have BPM installed yet. I am wondering if this would cause the WCC server to not understand the request from my BPM server. In addtion, I've also upgraded my local BPM server using the lastest SOA bundled patch. Should the same patch be applied to the WCC server environment too?
I'd be very grateful for any advice .

  • BPM  with error handling

    Hi,
I have a BPM scenario as follows,
Receive input file thru HTTP protocol
Send it to SAP thru sync XI protocol
Response from SAP has a field with status code
If the code says its success, then send response back to 3rd party and place the input file in archive dierectory.
If the code says its failed, then send an email with error description and plance the input file in error directory.
I would like to have a breif hint on the step-wise process flow in BPM technically.
    Thanks,
    Karthik

    Thank you all.
I would like to follow the solution suggested by Tarang Shah as below
    1. Receive step to receive the HTTP request
    2. sync send to send the data to SAP and get the response back
    3. then the switch where
    if status = 'OK' then
1.async send --- to send rseponse to the directory u want
2.async send ---here the message will be the one specified in step 1 which will go into Archive
    otherwise
1.async send --- to send the mail using mail adapter
2.async send ---here the message will be the one specified in step 1 which will go
    into ERROR folder
Now my question is 'Do we need correlation in this case or will the refMessageID in the SAP response be internally correlated to MessageID of the request message in step 1?'
    Please clarify.
    Thanks,
    Karthik
