Bridge an AirPort Express from an Extreme connected to a Motorola DOCSIS 3 cable/modem/gateway via an ethernet cable? Can I connect ethernet to the Express to setup/handshake/coordinate, and then unplug the ethernet cable from the Express?
In other words, does the AirPort Extreme NEED to be the device connected to the coaxial cable, or can I connect that cable to the Motorola SBG6580 DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem/wireless gateway? (My Internet provider requires DOCSIS 3.0 for speeds above 12 megabits/sec.)
Will the Airport Extreme "program" the Express via an ethernet cable, and than the cable can be removed?
The "bridge" or "repeater needs to be quite a distance away from the physically connected cable modem/wireless gateway and the ethernet- connected AirPort Extreme, and we have wall-to-wall carpeting, and the walls and ceilings are off-limits (family politics), so a looooong ethernet cable is out of the question.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

P.S. The 802.11 in my house (ground floor, about fifty feet away from the modem; in the living room about 35ft away *****! And Motorola touts this wireless gateway as having amazing coverage (360, I think they call it),but in fairness, this house is old and has a 5 hanset cordless landline and a microwave and a fan, etc., etc., etc......

I will keep in touch with the current Applications Engineer who will be assisting you with this issue and update the forum with the status of the problem. I personally think that your best option would be to create a link that opens DIAdem and then runs a script to load the data from a predetermined file (Rather than a link to the file itself).

If you purchase using the Mac App Store application on your Mac, you can also install the app on any other capable Mac you own and use with the same Apple ID User Account. Just log into the Mac App Store from the second Mac and Download/Install.

iCloud requires OS X Lion (10.7.2) or higher. You will need to upgrade to either Lion or Mountain Lion in order to set up iCloud on your Mac. First check to see if your system meets the system requirements to upgrade.

If you're talking about a commercial DVD and you're in the U.S. (and a number of other countries), you presume incorrectly. Commercial DVDs are encrypted and breaking that encryption is illegal. For non-encrypted DVDs, use Handbrake.

Put the scene that you want to stay in one place on the timeline on a video track above the one you are editing, in the location you want it to be on the timeline, and then lock the track.

Our 30 new iPhone 5S came with iOS 7.1.1.The fact that the OS requires 3.8GB of storage is ridiculous to begin with. Especially when they know there are a ton of 16GB models out there. Clearly another big brother attempt by Apple to force new iPhone sales which amazes me beyond description. If I experience pain with a product, I'm not going to buy another one and "hope" the problems go away. I'm going to buy a competitor's product. Apparently the lemmings keep following the herd or Apple couldn't continue these strong arm tactics. I'll stay on iOS 6.x until I'm ready for a new phone then...by another manufacturer.

Using "bridge" on Airport Express N between two bornes.

I have two Airport Extreme N base station, one is dedicated to be used with b & g cards and the other one with dedicated be used with "n" only compatible Mac.
The link between the two Airport id done with an ethernet cable, The first Airport Express N is connected to the Wan, the second is setup as "bridge" ( speed @ 100 full).
I didn't use WSD in fact this option slowdown all the newtwork to b/g.
Everything works fine. I'm concerne about speed. If you look at the "info pane" in the "Network Utility" (located in the "Uilities folder"), you can get several information on you Airport card (usually in choosing (en1).
On a iMac 24'' equiped with an Airport card "N", Informations from "network Utility" shows that the speed is "54 Mbit", The Airport Express as been setup to support only the "n" norme, To enforce that I did choose the 5 GHz Chanel...
Q- Should I get a better speed ? or the information shows in th" info pane" is not accurate ?

EA3500 bridged to Airport Express
Hey, I have just recently replaced my Netgear router with an EA3500 and have it bridged to an Airport Express. From there I have an ethernet cable attached to an AV receiver (Pioneer 1021k), but all to often now with this new router to use any of the features of the receiver ie Airplay, iOS app remote, I must restart the router EVERY time. This is frustrating because the these issues were never present with the netgear router. Any insight would be great.

I would try using a power line adapter kit instead like a plwk400. It has one port so you can direct connect with Ethernet to your av receiver.......plus it has wireless so you can extend your network.
I used an EA6500 in combination with plwk400 and Apple TV/iphone with AirPlay and AirPlay mirroring last week. Worked fine. -

My phone 4s has recently been acting up. I will receive a voicemail but the phone never rang. When I try to call the person back the phone gets stuck on dialing and then freezes I have plenty of signal bars, when I try to end the call it freezes. I have to do a hard reboot and then the phone works again. It seems like this started after the last update. My network is Verizon. Any suggestions?
Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and a replacement.
