Hi,
If you map your machine to a drive letter, you can explore the machine file hierarchy with the attached llb.
It is not very nice to use this drive letter mapping, I know, but it can be helpful.
Have a nice day.

  • Controling wheelchair by speech command using Neuron Network in labview

    Hi all,
I'm doing project about "controling wheelchair  by speech command using neuron network in labview". I found some informations about controling whelchair combine with function microsoft speech recognition in window or something like that but this was not my point. So, I have some question about that:
    1) How do I store the command "Left-Right-Back-Go-Stop" in labview. After that, analyzing to find the differences of characteristic of these command.
    2) Based on these characteristic above, using neuron network to find exactly command.
Are there anyone do like this before? I need all help from you.
    Thank you so much.

    Greetings;
First, it is most excellent that you have gotten to where you can compare the words being said to the sample.
If I understand correctly, you are interested in continuously acquiring sound, saving it and then comparing it with the sample? That is not as straightforward as it sounds simply because it would be difficult to realize when there is sound in the first place and when that sound is relevant.
I would probably start by figuring out whether there is or not sound by comparing the microphone input to a certain threshold, saving if there is sound, and then halting the recording when the sound stops. It would be then that you would compare with your samples via the algorithm that you have made.
In order to check for volume, I came across the following example:
    http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/2150
It was mentioned in the following discussion:

  • Problem: Select ActiveX Class Browse... hangs LabVIEW (not responding)

Can anybody help with this problem...
When I right click either an "Automation Refnum" (front panel) or an "Automation Open" and click "Select ActiveX Class > Browse..." LabVIEW just hangs and becomes "(not responding)".
Strangely - if I drop an ActiveX container onto the front panel and right click this selecting "Insert ActiveX Object..." then LabVIEW lists a healthy selection of objects - which indicates that not everything about ActiveX is broke.
The crash/hang when trying to browse for ActiveX Classes occurs with all three versions of LV I have installed 7.0, 7.1 & 8.0.
    Can anyone help - please.
    Mark.

I tried it again after to get two screen captures (one with the LabVIEW Not Responsive message), unfortunately it is much faster when browsing after the initial search.  Probably because a list was populated somewhere.  So it's slow the first time...

  • Neural Network in LabVIEW

I've searched the forums for any support for neural networks in LabIVEW, but found only one post and the original author seems to have disappeared:

  • Windows server 2008 R2 browsing the network

We just migrated to Server 2008 R2 and now we are having network browsing issues
When searching computers can only see local cannot search on different subnets?
Our CEO I sold school and like to browse the network to connect to a server and when he is not at the headquarters he no longer can browse computers at the headquarter location?
Is this a Bug or a service?
If you try and search for a computer name it also does not work can only search for local computers
if you type the computer name directly in my computer it works and you can connect
This topic first appeared in the Spiceworks Community

    Hi,
This issue occurs because the IPAddress registry entries at the following location are incorrectly overwritten by a newly added IP address instead of the whole list of IP addresses:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\<GUID>
Note <GUID> is a placeholder for the GUID of the network adapter that is encountering the issue.
More information and a hotfix, please check the below KB:
Some IP addresses on a network adapter are lost after you restart a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista if the buffer being used on the network adapter becomes insufficient

  • How can I browse my network and play my media files?

I installed a free file explorer on my Android tablet. I can easily browse my network shares and access all my media content. I can play my movies, music, TVshows, anything by just browsing to the folder and selecting the file to play. It took me 5 minutes to figure this out on my Android tablet. I've been trying to do this for about 3 hours on my new ipad 3. I have yet to even find a file browser type app. Please don't tell me there is no way you can do this with an ipad. There is no way to play all your multi-media files with my very expensive ipad. I have so much media content I would love to access via my ipad, but I can't. Has Apple done this on purpose to lock down their devices so users can't do anything flexible? This is a HUGE difference between Android / iOS.
Also, I'm able to visit music.google.com on my Android to play my music. Besides iTunes, does Apple have a way the user can access a simple website and play their music files? I'm finding all this very troublesome and such a limited factor with Ipad. Please help!
If it ends up that Apple's brand new ipad can't easily browse a network and play media files then I'm going to return the two of them I bought. Just not a capable device if it can't do something so trivial.
    Thanks.

I'm still trying to find a way to do this simple task. Everyone has home networks now and not able to simply browse to a folder where you keep your video/music files is quite a problem with such a brand new, ultimate tablet. I can even do this with my Android phone I have. I have terabytes worth of music and movies and if I can't watch them with this ipad tablet then I for sure will return this tablet and buy Android from now on. I'm now finding out how locked down Apple products really are and how limited UNLESS you BUY an app or only go through an Apple type portal. I wonder if people know that you can't play your media you have saved at home with an ipad.

  • Browse windows networks with Thunar

    Hi,
I am running xfce on arch linux, everything up to date I believe. I would like to be able to browse windows networks with the file manager (Thunar). I do not need to share files or even access password protected content. I am simply looking to be able to browse public folders. (Without having to mount anything manually)
I found some instructions for installing samba and fusesmb, but then found a note saying fusesmb doesn't work anymore. A search on that showed that most people seem to be using gigolo now, but there is no wiki page for it, and being a noob I am hesitant to try to mess with it on my own.
If someone could give me very precise instructions on how to do this (samba/gigolo or otherwise, I don't care about the method as long as it's not terribly difficult) I would be very grateful. Thanks!

Ok, I installed samba and smbnetfs and everything looks good, the workgroup shows up in the file manager now. However...
None of the windows computers show up.
I installed exactly as the wiki said, using gamin and smbnetfs but not SWAT. I changed the workgroup to the correct name. Some other setting I might have missed that it needs?

  • Cannot browse Windows networks in Leopard

In Tiger, I could click the Network icon and get the Windows domains listed for me. Of course, there was an issue in that it would only show the first 1500+ domains, ending somewhere in the Ms when I needed the Ts but at least I could browse the many and varied domains we have here.
Now, I find no option or way to browse the Windows domains. I can choose Connect to server from Finder but if I choose Browse, it only takes me to the standard Finder window with no network means to really browse.
Overall, I like Leopard but there are some definite steps backward. Any ideas on how I can browse the Windows domains or is this another feedback item for Apple?
    Thanks,

    Nope, I see 2 IP addresses...querying _MSBROWSE_ on 192.168.1.255

  • How can read and process data uploded from a datalogger on a network with labview

    hello evryone.
i have a agilent datalogger 34972a data acquire temperature reading and makes them availlable on a network. i would like to acess this data on a pc running labview, analyse and prsent them. my problem is that i am not quite sure how to tell labview acquire this specific data.
any help would really help me getting started.
    thanks already.
    Yann

    Are you
Running the Agilent stand alone (or using Benchlink) and writing data to a file on the network ?
Do you want to use LabView to control the networked data logger and aquire data?
If you are doing #1 then you can not use LabView because the Agilent (and Benchlink) strores data in a proparitary format.
You have to use Benchlink to export the data to a CSV file before any other program besides Benchlink can read it.
If you want to do #2 then you simply access the Agilent through VISA just like if it were connected using USB, Serial, or GPIB.

  • Win10 Browse for networked folder or share

So I can't seem to get BrowseForFolder, in vbscript, to show mapped or networked drives and locations in Win10 :\
    Dim folderOptions, oShell, oFolder, oFolderItem
     folderOptions = &H1 + &H8 + &H10 + &H20 + &H40
     Set oShell = CreateObject( "Shell.Application" )
Set oFolder = oShell.BrowseForFolder( 0, "Select a Writeable Folder to Copy To:", folderOptions, "" )
     If oFolder Is Nothing Then
      GetFolderPath = ""
      Exit Function
     End If
     Set oFolderItem = oFolder.Self
     GetFolderPath = oFolderItem.Path
The browse dialog box opens, but there isn't any networked options. I've tried adding in &H1000 as well :\
    I've checked
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/bb773205%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
and tried different numbers, but can't seem to get it working in Win10 tech preview. Anyone have any ideas? or is this a Win10 issue? I'm using build 9879 and fully updated as of 14 Dec 14
    Thank you.

Those dialogs are deprecated since Windows Vista.  Use PowerShell instead of COM/VBScript.
The Shell calls were never intended to b used from script so there are many things that can be very flakey.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • Is there a way to check the strength of available wireless networks from LabVIEW?

I am developing a LabVIEW application that will be used on a large
wireless network and would like to be able to monitor my wireless
signal strength from LabVIEW, similar to the Wireless Network
Connection control panel in Windows XP.  Does anyone know of any
.dll or some Windows API call that I could use from LabVIEW to do
    this?
    Thanks in advance.

There might well be a .NET assembly that addresses this as well. I don't have a wireless card or any wireless drivers installed, so I can't find anything on my machine. Probably the best place to check is www.msdn.com. Best of luck!

  • Help, please, with problem browsing Windows network since upgrade

I recently upgraded my MacBook from Leopard to Snow Leopard. Now I can't browse my home Windows network 90% of the time. None of the machines appear. Worked fine before. Anyone know how to fix what Apple broke?

Probably the easiest way to use an iPod on both Mac and Windows computers is to format the iPod (using iPod Updater) using the PC. This will force your iPod to use the Windows file system (FAT32) which both the Mac and PC can read from and write to without the help of additional software. Of course then all your software updates for the iPod will have to be done on Windows.

If you need to use a Mac (HFS+) formatted iPod on a Windows PC, you'll need to install some 3rd party software such as XPlay 2.0 (which you can get from MediaFour Software). This will enable your Windows PC to read a Mac-formatted iPod.
    Then see this.

  • Can't browse local network nor share iTunes with wireless

    Hello.
I'm using WRT54GX-v2 wireless router. I have 2 Macs connected to it, one through cable and one through wireless. When I open the Network in the finder I am unable to see one computer from the other. (My sharing prefs are set correctly.) I AM able to connect by connecting directly to a specific local IP address.
However, if I connect the MacBook with cable, the desktop Mac shows up in the Network browser. (This is how I know I have my Mac settings correct.)
This also affects iTunes - if I configure to share my library from my desktop Mac, it doesn't show up in the Macbook. Unless I connect with cable. For the network browsing I can workaround it by connecting to a specific IP, however iTunes doesn't have that option of manually connecting to a shared library on another IP address.
Can anyone offer assistance/suggestions on how to get browsing to work?
PS. I have tried an older router I have of a different brand, which doesn't have this problem, however it has a problem with dropping connections to my ISP, which is why I got a new one.

Are you using any fixed LAN IP addresses?  If so, which devices have fixed addresses, and what fixed address is each device using?  Also state your router's DHCP server range.
Can all your computers get a working Internet connection through the router?
I am not familiar with MACs, but in PCs, "file and printer sharing" is turned on one network adapter at a time.  In other words, the both the ethernet card and the wireless card must individually be set to "file and printer sharing".  Maybe you need to enable file and printer sharing for your wireless card.
If you are running a software firewall on your computer(s), temporarily turn all of them off and see if that helps.

  • [SOLVED] Automatically run a browser when network is up

    Hi,
I have been trying to use netcfg's POST_UP variable to run a graphical browser (midori) automatically once the network is up and running using this script (called thanks to the POST_UP variable in my network's configuration)
    #!/bin/sh
    if [ "$(ps aux | grep "$USER" | grep midori | grep -v grep | grep -v defunct)" = "" ]
    then
    midori > /dev/null 2>&1 &
    fi
Yes, the condition in the if statement is very hackish (can not currently think of a better way to do this) but it works when I am logged in (graphically) and run netcfg manually.
The only problem is that I have configured my rc.conf to automatically connect to my network at start-up.
    NETWORKS=(home)
    DAEMONS=(... @net-profiles ...)
As the daemon is backgrounded, the boot process carries on and I am logged in X long before the POST_UP operation is done. Still, when running netcfg like that, midori does not start and I get the following error:
    Midori - Cannot open display:
Although I can think of ideas why it is so, I have no idea how to make this work. Any insights ?
    Thank you in advance,
    yms

Indeed. This is why I am posting. The thing is netcfg is executed and backgrounded and while I am getting a connection, I am logged in and X starts. A few seconds later, the connection is established and when the POST_UP operation is done, there should be no problem with the display ... except there is.
Actually I'm wrong: My statement "The error you are getting is in contradiction to your statement." was intendend as "No, midori is called before an xserver instance started by $USER" which is false. The error is caused by the fact that midori is started by root, who doesn't have a running xserver instance.
I'm also curious as to why UID matters to you (besides avoiding running web browsers as root).
yms wrote:... I have just been asked to automate redundant operations as much as possible including autorunning programs. And the reason I can't run the browser anyways is that it won't load the default tabs properly (as the connection is down).
Are you doing this in a multi user environment or your personal single user laptop? Who asked you to do this? What do you mean by the last sentence in the quote above?
