Brush function not working correctly PS Elements 11 for Mac

The brush is not working correctly in that I cannot drag the brush. It allows only spot healing, not dragging the brush. Didn't use to have this problem. Now do. Not sure what has changed. Thank you!

Is this happening after upgrading to Yosemite?

Did you ever get a solution to your problem? Because I am having the same problem. I was actually in the middle of using Word when the keyboard stopped working. But it works in other apps, including in Excel.
Thing is that my laptop just got back from Apple for repairs and they replaced everything but the display - including the hard drive.
So not only do I have plenty of hard drive space, but it should be virus and error free otherwise.
I have only installed a few programs and redownloaded some of my files from places like Dropbox, but otherwise is essentially a new system.
Oh - and it came with Yosemite, so I did not upgrade to Yosemite and still Word doesn't work.
I've always had trouble getting Word to play nice with my Mac but that was also with the old, full hard drive.
This is a fresh install. And since I lost all my files, I only had like 1 old file I have downloaded from email and accessed and was in the process of
creating a new file when it crashed. I got no error, the keyboard just stopped working (to type). I also cannot even get Word > Preferences to even open,
so it is completely unresponsive.
I did a Google search and under the Microsoft communities two suggestions to that person were that there may be multiple copies installed -
I have only the one - and that one is in the wrong place - again, I only have the one and it installed to the Hard drive (visible in Launchpad / Apps).
Another suggestion was that there was some problem with the updates. I ran updates and they installed fine. That helper suggested that the user
may have had different updates that worked for the other Office apps (Excel, PPT etc.) but not Word and that was at least part, if not all of his problem,
but all my Office apps show the same update version 12.3.6, so that cannot be the issue with me.
I've not yet tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but as I got no errors on the original install or updates, I'm not sure if that would fix it.
I've found that Mac just doesn't play nice with some programs at all.
And even though I have a factory installed version of Yosemite on a new, fresh hard drive, even when I booted up, my iPhoto app (which is empty) crashed. I am not sure if my iPhone or iPad was charging at the time, but I don't think so. iPhoto that I still have not even used has crashed several more times since, most notably when plugging in my iPhone / iPad to charge, namely when I declined to upload photos (by default) to DropBox. That may not be related at all, but thus far seems the only other problem I have encountered until this Word problem.
I'm on a MacBook Pro, Sept. 2009, running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 factory installed from Apple repairs running Office: 2008 for Mac (Home and Student edition).
Please advise if you found a resolution and what it was.

Two finger scroll not working in Microsoft Word for Mac

Just finished installing Yosemite today and haven't had any real issues...however, I've noticed that two-finger scrolling doesn't work in Microsoft Word for mac. It works fine in many other applications (including other Microsoft apps--Excel & PowerPoint), but not Word.
I've looked for any scrolling options that may be "unchecked" in the preferences, but haven't found any.

I'm having the same issue. However, I have restarted and it still won't work. This is extremely frustrating as I have the latest updates and everything but it doesn't work and I keep forgetting every time I try to scroll.
I'm also having the issue of whenever my Mac goes to sleep or if I turn it off, the log in screen says there are updates necessary. I feel like this is a bug because I've updated my computer like 20 times in the past few days...

Links not working correctly in PCUI for CRM

Hi All,
We are implementing mySAP CRM 4.0 through PCUI on Portal
EP6 SP14.
I have integrated the CRM Business Package 60.2 in Portal.
Proper User has been created in the backend and assigned Sales Manager Role both in the portal and in the CRM backend.
We are facing problem of links not working in the CRM Contents. When we click on the links in the CRM Portal Contents ( BSPs) we dont get the desired application opening.
When we click any links in the BSP's ( Activity Links in Opportunity Management BSP ) we get a blank page popped up.
I have the screen shots with me. Any one responding can get the screen shots from me.

Have you maintained configuration in (transaction CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C --> Navigation (URL Generation) --> Assign Object Method to Role)? Be sure that the role that you are using is present and ID Page/Service field correctly points to the pcd url for your portal.
When testing, it may be helpful to set parameter CRM_URL_BUFFER_OFF = X on the user profile (SU01) to turn off the url buffer. That way changes made above are immediate.

Keyboard repeating not working with latest update for mac?

I just updated my Macbook Pro with a new version of Yosemite and i have come to find that the keyboard repeating function is not working anymore, even with the command: defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false
in terminal.
Is there anyway to resolve this? I find the other character extremely annoying that they always pop up

The repeating function you want has been off by default since 10.7 was released 3 years ago. That terminal command should normally do the trick. Did you logout and login again?

Paste not working properly in DW for Mac

Ok, here's a gripe which has long irritated me, but which is so minor I've not bothered posting about it before now because by the time I fight my way through the Adobe site, login to the fora, type and post a message, I fixed the problem manually, but it's got to the stage where it's got my goat.
I'm using DW 9 (CS3) under Mac OS/X Tiger (10.4), but the problem's occurred in previous versions of DW. Basically, I can't paste anything but bare text into design view. It doesn't matter from which application I've copied, even bare text in a web page, hitting Cmd-V does zip. I have to go into Paste Special and choose Text Only - all other options do bubkes. I can go into Code View and paste which of course just drops in unformatted text. This is a real PITA in situations like now, where I've got to go through 3 pages worth of academic references manually inserting carriage returns then formatting text as bold and italic. Is this a known 'issue' with DW for Mac? There's nothing wrong with the DW prefs that I can see, and I've been using this damn software for the best part of a decade so it's not as if I'm a newbie, though my Mac usage is relatively recent (last couple of years).
I've got to say that DW on the Mac, as you guys across the Pond say, sucks bigtime. It's memory usage is less than optimal (activity meter sometimes hits near 100% processor usage if DW's working), it's often keyboard-abusingly slow, and there are so many little 'idiosyncrasies' that irritate that it would take pages to outline them all. The irritations are so minor that it's not worth posting about them usually (getting to this stage has cost me 15 minutes, in which time I could have added all the CRs in my ref list), but it does grate that hundreds of dollars worth of bloatware grinds along on what is pretty much a top of the range machine (Macbook Pro). Luckily I'm not paying for the software - my employer is, otherwise I'd be really narked. I only use it on account of the site management capabilities which aren't duplicated AFAIK in any Open Source software.
Ok, that's that off my chest. Back to basic sodding text editing that I shouldn't have to do...

PS: Are you sure you've stuffed your pages with enough JS code, Adobe? Clunky ain't the word for some of the pages on this site...

Just to add another gripe about DW for Mac, it hangs and/or crashes on a regular basis. For example, I've just now asked it to open a small (8kb) XML file and it's gone into a funk with the old spinning disk, which I'll have to force quit. No big, but not what you'd expect of a 'premium' product.

Serial number not working on cs3 download for mac

I downloaded cs3 through prodesign tools but my serial number is not working does that mean I installed it on too many computers. I only have it on my old desktop now which I'm using to print from my epson 3800 and I'm a little scared to uninstall that. Can I just use the cs3 trial for now and enter the serial number lately. Will the cs3 trial mess up downloading the cs5 trial? Thx, Mark

What message does it fail with, specifically? That would help answer your question.
If you can no longer deactivate your Photoshop CS3 license from an old system because it's no longer running, you may well be able call Adobe's customer support line and get them to reset the activation information in their server database for you, by explaining your situation to them.

Spell Check Not Working on Office 2011 for Mac (Word) from Today!

Jumped on my Mac tonight to right a report in Word (2011 for Mac), been using this before Xmas and in years past other Office for Mac versions. Never any problems with the spell check before i.e. red wiggly line appears so you can review or amend as necessary, but no red line tonight!
I have being playing around with the settings > preferences > spelling - I leave the "Hide spelling errors in this document" unchecked, but still it dosent seem to work anymore.
I am the only person who uses my Mac and I haven't changed any settings so I can not understand why this is happening now.
If anyone can help, please do as I miss my reb wijgly anb mi speling is rudish without ip!

Automated Bullets Not Working in Word 2011 for Mac

Automated bullets are not working, whether I type * followed by a space or by a tab. I have verified Automatic Bullet Lists is selected under Tools / Autocorrect / Autoformat as You Type.
Any ideas?

Keyboard shortcuts not working in Illustrator CC for Mac

I'm having a lot of problems using keyboard shortcuts in Illustrator CC for Mac. They'll will work intermittently. No keyboard issues anywhere else. Is this a bug, or something I can remedy on my end?

I am having the exact same problem and it is really infuriating at times... I just switched from CS6 where I encountered no such problems.
It seems that it usually happens when I switch to Finder or another application and back (altough it may only be Finder). The Illustrator window is still active because I can see Illustrator reacting when I press only CMD or ALT. However all keyboard shortcuts just stop working, for instance CMD+S, or V or any other toolbar shortcuts. To fix it I have to do a mouse click on a tool or menu command or something, and the shortcuts are back for a while...
I am also running Illustrator v.17.0.0 and OS X 10.8.4 on a macbook Pro connected to a Thunderbolt Display and bluetooth mouse/keyboard.
I sure hope this is picked up by Adobe soon, it is really messing with my workflow!

ATP FUNCTIONALITY NOT WORKING CORRECTLY FOR ATO Model

Currently I am facing issue in ATP Inquiry to arrive at schedule ship date, we have set up an ATO Model and its low-level parts for multi level ATP, including ATP rules, item attributes, bom attributes, and lead times and ATP check is based on planned output and enabled 24X7 plan.
When try to perform ATP inquiry either from ASCP/OM responsibility, Instead of showing complete drill down of material constraint at the part level, it "stops" at the model level and shows no availability until the inifinte supply timefence, then unlimited availability after that.
I was earlier able to view the complete ATP pegging details with ATP dates well within ITF, but however when we re run the plan to include additional SO the above behavior is observed.
Can some one help me to reslove the issue, as I am not sure what exactly which is triggering this behavior.

Thanks for the reply, but this note was not addressing the above stated issue. In this note for matched configuration, they are not able to view pegging else they are able to perform multilevel atp check.
Can anyone help me to reslove this issue.

I wrote a code to decimal to binary number system, this code works properly for 5 but show wrong result on 47. I tried lots of times but not getting solution.When "23.5 mod 2" calculated I
got the remainder 0 which is worng it should be 1.

DW logout function not working correctly

I have CS4 on Vista ultimate. I am using WAMP for testing.
In DW, I clicked on the menus to make a logout page. To test it I logged in as a user in one window(FF) and opened another one and logged in as a different user... When I hit the logout button on one, it logged out both users....
How can this be that everyone gets logged out by one? I have used dw's login and logout functionality and have not changed either...
any ideas?

You say that session objects are shared between all browser window/tab instances.... Those are 2 different things... tabs are in windows...Open a new window and it should be unrelated to the others....
isnt each session id for each window unique?
I have 2 different FF windows open, each logged in as a different user, log out one, the other is logged out as well....
But, since your post I tested with IE and FF and then it works how its supposed to, only one is logged out...
I understand how sessions work but thought that each window had it own unique session id, especially for different users.... I guess thats only true on two DIFFERENT browser windows... weird....
seems like it should not be that way, but it is... so oh well, I guess thats not a real problem, just seemed like one. Thanks.

nick'day' doesn't trunc to the beginning of the day. It truncates to the first day of the week: in your case 31st May.
'ddd' truncates to the beginning of the day.
So, leaving the second parameter out defaults to 'ddd' not 'day'.
