BSOD leading to sudden multiple device failure.

OK, this is the second time I'm trying to write this - the site here went weird on me and I lost the script I'd written (I even copied just in case, but somehow lost that too).  This will likely not be as detailed or well put together since my time is running short at work and I have to leave soon.  But I really want to try and get this in beforehand so there might be a better chance of a response by the time I can log on later this evening...
Machine:
Satelite A665-S6094
nVidia Graphics, i7 Core
Win7 x64 Home Premium
4 GB Ram
Programs Running At Time Of Fault:
Firefox w/ NoScript, AdBlockPlus & TACO
This machine is new.  It's 3 weeks old out of the box.  There's been no sign of any trouble or any issues until last night.  >_<
Course Of Events:
*  Computer left on Sleep w/ lid closed (on table where it lives) for ~1 hour.  When opened and logged back in, suddenly a quiet high-pitched tone starts and then gets louder.  Tone resolves into a very fast cycling of beeps.  Computer spontaniously reboots.  Beeps also happen at shut-down.
*  Beeping tones start again at CMOS Checks - before the Toshiba Splash Screen.  They sound much higher and are far faster than any DOS Beep Code I've ever heard, and I can find no pattern to them.  The tone is long at times, 10 or more secods at a run, before resolving into separate beeps again.  Sometimes there's whole moments without them too.
*  Windows Log-In, great.  Upon loading, touchpad will only work as a mouse - tapping & gestures do not work, but settings look fine.  The Media Shortcut Buttons are also dead, the backlight behind each one will light up & go off in random patters but the buttons do nothing.
*  This first reboot only, the computer comes up in "Eco Mode".  This doesn't happen again, but is strange as we've never used it.  I'm not really clear on what it is.
*  After 5 minutes, computer reboots itself again.  This is the only time it's done this aside from the first fail.
*  The beeping & tones are a constant every time the computer is started and every time it shuts down.  I'm still not sure if it's a DOS beep though, it just sounds nothing like one.  The pitch is more like feed-back.  Every time, the touchpad and buttons fail after log-in.  The beeps/tones continue while the computer is on too, but they're not as loud.
*  At one point I tried a restore point.  FAIL.  Computer refused to restart when restore was done.  Offered a "Repair from a restore point".  Tried, Fail - looked to be multiple BSOD.  Offered to "Repair the Bootsector".  This got me back to where I was before - beeping and 2 devices not working.
What I've tried so far:
Sorry, this is not a lot.  Happened at 11 PM last night - work night - and have been at work all day.
*  Scans w/ Avast, Malwarebytes, Spybot.  Stopped here as nothing was found by that point.
*  Restore to restore point - Failed miserably and in fact made things worse for a bit.
*  Basic Memory Test w/ MemTest.  Could only manage basic, as had to get to sleep.  2 passes w/ both RAM chips in.  Passed.
What I plan to try tonight:
*  NirSoft BSV to see what the stop errors are.
*  Serious MemTest
*  Possible HD Test
*  Lot of reading to figure this out.
Theories:
*  The failure of the restore point makes me think it could be a memory failure...
*  The Bootsector Repair makes me wonder about a sudden, vicious bootsector virus - anyone know if there's any new ones going around?
*  I read this afternoon about similar issues on Toshibas being caused by a corrupt CMOS, and as this starts at CMOS Call it's making me wonder.  Is anyone more informed on this issue, and possibly know a test for it?
*  Possible bad BIOS?  Doubtful, but any thoughts?
*  Less likely, but I guess still possible, failing HD?
Am looking for theories, thoughts, ideas and new things to check.
Am also really, really hoping there's someone who recognises this issue for what it is and can just tell me where the fault is and how to fix it.  OK, I know this is really unlikely, but I can hope.  =)
Will be back on this evening to update if I have anything to update with.

Wow!  My spouse found a thread on this Forum I'd previously overlooked, because I was doing a search for the full model# and not just the 1st 4 digits.  I didn't have time to do a thorough search yet, but my sweetie did.  In the hopes this helps someone else who comes looking for this issue,
Here's the answer:
http://forums.toshiba.com/t5/Keyboards-Touchpads/Satellite-A665-Media-Touch-Buttons-Unresponsive/m-p...
Specifically the solution given by Jerry_Lippey after the OP's original post.
Jerry, whoever you are I'm giving you a giant online hug!  You just made my month!  =D  Thank you SO much!
The key was my saying earlier the beeping reminded me more of feedback than anythng else, and the OP mentioning the behavior from the media buttons being slow, as if any commands given them were stacked behind a thrashing cpu.  The behavior of my buttons were similar and the behavior of the noise made sense if it were a charge build-up.
So, a new question then.  Does anyone know what causes this build-up and where it's living that it's freezing computers and generating speaker feed-back even before BIOS or Windows loads?  This strikes me as potentially damaging to the mobo and/or chips over time...
So far, there seems to be no damage from the bad attempt at a restore.  Hopefully this will remain the case...  Machine is running beautifully again.  ^_^

  • How do I stop games from syncing across multiple devices?

    Hi there,
My kids all have their own ipads (super big blessing from a grandparent).  My husband and I each have one as well.  We like to play some of the same games, and sometimes the game progress syncs between our devices.  Eg. We like to play Disney's Frozen Free Fall game, and for some reason, my ipad doesn't sync to my husband's.  When my kids asked for the game on their ipads, however, the games automatically synced to my husband's, so I didn't let them keep it (I didn't want them using all his items/lives).
My kids all like to play Angry Birds Transformers, and with the latest update to that game, their games are all suddenly connected to each other (they all have the same characters, number of gems, etc.).
How do these games sync (game center, icloud, etc.)?  Does anyone know how to disable the feature so that our games do not sync across multiple devices?  I would like us to not be sharing the same game progress.  We all share one itunes account.
    Thanks so much!
(If it helps, I have the ipad2, my kids have ipad mini 2's, and my husband has the ipad air.)

We all share one itunes account.
This would  be why the syncing occurs. Until a more knowledgeable person comes   by ...
You can have one, two or three apple id accounts per idevice. Assign a second apple id to all the kids machines. Same or multiple apple ids. depending on how you want the game to act. Does a family account differ?  delete the game from the current apple id.  Install the game on the new apple id ( or apple ids ).
    Look into family sharing:

  • PhotoStream: Multiple Devices and Performance Issues

Had a bad night last night with PhotoStream. I have an iPhone 4S (AT&T), my wife has an iPhone 4 (VZW), we have an iPad 1 (Wi-Fi), Apple TV 2 (Ethernet), and a 2011 Mac Mini (Wi-Fi)... all in the same house that has a Time Capsule and is connected to AT&T DSL service, 3.0Mbps service (average speed test results are 2.65Mbps down, 315kbps up). Oh yeah, there's a micro-cell in there too but anytime there's trouble that gets shut off first so its irrelevant for this discussion.
So yesterday was Halloween and we both took alot of photos away from the house with the iPhones. Got home, started using the internet, noticed the performance was HORRIBLE. Speed test showed over 1,000 ms ping latency (I still can't believe I actually waited for it to finish the ping test) and nothing was getting through for the download / upload test. I have never (believe it or not) with AT&T DSL seen it get this bad. Its been bad before, don't get me wrong, but this was surprising even to me.
How did I come to the conclusion that PhotoStream was my issue you may ask? Well, its sort of a long story, but bear with me... The other day, we started having trouble with the Apple TV 2, which for the most part is pretty solid. My wife was streaming Netflix movies and it was stopping every 30 seconds. It was looking at this issue that had me first raise suspicions about PhotoStream. Just days before this problem started, I had enabled PhotoStream on the Apple TV 2. SO I did the first most logical thing anyone could do, I took a step back and disabled it. Problem solved. Thought nothing of it, yeah I was a little discouraged that I couldn't use it on the Apple TV 2, but not a big deal, my favorite part of PhotoStream is using it to get the photos into iPhoto without having to plug the iPhones in so I said to myself "I'll just keep putting the photos into Events and Albums until they work out the kinks on the AppleTV 2" thinking perhaps the Apple TV 2 needs to not update PhotoStream while videos are being played. They can fix that at some point, right? Sure they can.
Now, back to this other issue. My bandwidth last night was completely crapped out, and I was determined to prestige on Black Ops one last time so this had to change STAT! I mean, come on! I was at Level 47 and I was ready to GO! My internet connection just wasn't having it. I powered off the router, rebooted the modem, and powered on the rotuer again. Everything came up beautifully. I jumped into some Nuketown 24/7, 4 green bars next to my name and I was happy. After we lost Bravo, which on Nuketown takes about a minute and a half if both teams are fighting over it, I'm lagging like crazy and I have that little red bar that no one likes to see next to my name. Sure enough, speedtest results are all whacked out again.
So I'm sitting there thinking to myself, what could this be? My wife was watching cable TV, my son was asleep... essentially the Xbox 360 was the only thing trying to use the internet... I thought... until I remembered our iPhones and the photos we had just taken and all the devices that would be simultaneously trying to update PhotoStream. Let's list them again, shall we?
iPhone 4S - Upload to Stream and Download from Stream
iPhone 4 - Upload to Stream and Download from Stream
iPad 1 - Download from Stream
Mac Mini - Download from Stream
So how can I prove this crazy theory of mine that the great and wonderful PhotoStream was choking my internet connection? Simple.
    iPhone 4S - PhotoStream OFF
    iPhone 4 - PhotoStream OFF
    iPad 1 - PhotoStream OFF
    Mac Mini - PhotoStream OFF
Speed test results immediately after doing this?
2.73Mbps down / .31Mbps up with 26ms ping time (used the Speedtest.NET app on the 4S).
Sadly, this means that for now, I cannot use PhotoStream, however I did manage to Prestige on Black Ops which made me happy, and the iPhone 4S can still be plugged into the Mac Mini to download my wonderful looking photos.
That's right, I didn't throw away the charger cables just yet and if you want to start talking about iTunes Wireless Synching with multiple devices in the same house, I can gladly take up some more of your time. Thats right, its OFF as well!

I just wanted to report that this is still an open and particularly nefarious bug.  I've got a fairly idealized Apple household with 2 iPhone 4's, a 'new' iPad, a 13" Macbook Pro, Airport Express and our most recent addition this weekend... an Apple TV.
While I had no particular interest in enabling Photo Stream, I turned it on while messing with the screen saver settings and didn't think anything about it.  As I began to play with my new toy I was immediately disappointed with all the long spinners and timeouts in Netflix.  Later that day I noticed my computer and iPad were having similar connection issues.  My first thought was 'oh, Comcast must be acting up, that's why my new Apple TV isn't working so well'.
Fast forward 3 days to today and our network issues were still occuring and I decided I needed to figure out what was going on.  After mucking around in network settings for a couple hours I half-jokingly decided to disconnect the AppleTV on the whim that the issues started at the same time I hooked it up.  Sure enough my network issues disappeared.  I even went so far as to run continuous pings to various IP's outside my home network and watch the timeouts come & go as i plugged/unplugged my ATV.  Now knowing the ATV was the problem I set out to figure out what in particular was causing it.  As soon as I signed out of Photo Stream everything was working perfect again.  Netflix on the ATV is quick & responsive, no more spinners or timeouts.  My other devices aren't plagued with random disconnects, dns failures or slow downloads.
Long story short, something is bugged in AppleTV's Photo Stream support.  Mine didn't appear to be downloading any new photos, it had stopped with 255 photos downloaded.  Not sure if that was all I had in iCloud or maybe AppleTV can only pull down 255 max?  Maybe 255 is the magic number where it hits the bug that causes this behavior?  Either way, it appeared to be only affecting the outgoing internet connection, when I had a continous ping going to another machine on my internal LAN it didn't appear to get affected.
Hope this helps someone at Apple track down the bug.  While someone technical can probably troubleshoot these issues I could see someone like my mom never putting the 2 + 2 together that her internet problems started around the time she enabled Photo Stream on her AppleTV and instead blaming it on 'the internet acting up again' and of course calling me months later to look into it for her.

  • Do not use multiple devices for BT email

I have been advised by the Yahoo email support team that my account is being locked every few hours because I use multiple devices and the server sees multiple requests to 'sync' email from one account onto several devices as malicious activity.  I use outlook on three PCs (a desktop and a couple of laptops) and the default email client on a stock Android.
The advice I've been asked to follow is to ensure I close outlook (on which I view several email accounts) every time I walk away from my desk and then enable email sync on my phone.  On return to my desk I should reverse the process. I'll do this in the short term as it will take a few days to switch from BT email to another provider but this is not sustainable.
I find it hard to believe that the btinternet system isn't robust enough to accept single user/multiple device scenarios.  The problem has only manifested this week so I suspect it will be due to a change in system protocol/software as I have had a few years of trouble free multiple device access until this point.
I'm interested in other peoples' experience of this as it's the only email service I use which has exhibited this issue in recent years.
    Solved!

There are several reasons why you get password rejected messages however based on the information you have supplied I have the following observations and advice.
    1.  The failure message incorrect in that your username and password is likely to be correct but is being rejected for another reason.
    2.  The most likely cause is some form of timeout.
    3.  Providing you have a reasonably fast connection the timeout is likely to be because your account is being accessed by two or more of your devices at the same time.
    4. To stop this happening you need to do the following.
    a)  Do not use webmail unless you have to.
    b)  If you do use webmail make sure that you sign out when finished.
    c)  Make sure that all your devices do not check for emails automatically but require manual intervention.
Not sure this is strictly necessary, unlikely devices will be polling simultaneously.
    d)  Use POP instead of IMAP in email clients.
    e)  Make sure smartphones and  tablets have Email accounts Push "off "and Fetch data "manually".
Not sure this is strictly necessary, unlikely devices will be polling simultaneously. Agree with Push 'off'

  • Earphone buttons stopped working on multiple devices

    Hi,
So I recently purchased an iPhone 5 and the store gave me a pair of additional earphones with the deal. All new products. Earphones that came with the phone works fine across multiple devices and so did the extra pair, until earlier today.
When I plugged in the extra pair into my macbook, the volume/pause button suddenly stopped responding. Sound works perfectly fine but the buttons don't. After this happened I tried plugging the earphones back into the iphone and the issue remains. Even tried them with my old 3GS, same problem there. Original earphones still work flawlessly.
Why can this be? The earphones are new and the buttons worked fine until I plugged them into the macbook. Is there anyway I can "reset" these earphones?

    HI,
had the same problem.  Apparently the last segment of the jack controls the remote so it needs to be properly inserted.  I realized that I had somehow bent the jack so I just yanked it straight and it works fine.  Apparently another possibility is you have lint round the base you need to scrape off.  I don't think this is a technical os problem

  • Mail stopped receiving mail on multiple devices??

I can no longer recieve emails on only one email address, that is on multiple devices. This email address has been operating perfectly fine for years. All of a sudden in the middle of the night, on four devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac Air and Power Mac) mail has stopped being downloaded.
    Things done and symthoms...
Check all settings on all devices - All Good! No error codes
Remove/Re-install on one of the devices. All emails load back in to about the same point as other devices.
Adjusted SSL settings (which worked perfectly fine).
Turned off WiFi - Using cell coverage
    Reset Airport Express
    Webmail is working perfectly fine
Other email accounts with same provider (Go Daddy) working perfectly fine.
    iMap Settings in place

I'm having the exact same issues.  I have about 10 different email addresses.  All have worked fine since I bought the Mac Pro.  As of yesterday, whenever I log into any WiFi netwrok - and networks that always worked in the past - I can't download emails from one of my addresses.  Same is true with the same email accounts on my iPhone.
Interestingly, when I tether my iPhone and use 3G (rather than WiFi) I'm able to send/recieve from this same address on my laptop AND iPhone!!
    APPLE - please advise!

  • Can I share an iTunes account with multiple devices?

I had an iPhone 3GS. Just upgraded to an iPhone 5C. I'd like to save the 3GS for our daughter to use as an iPad Touch. I realize that I'll need to wipe the 3GS clean and start over with new apps for her. I have a few questions:
Can I use my same iTunes account for both devices, or must I create a new iTunes account for my daughter's app and music purchases?
How do I change the device name in iTunes, so that her iPhone no longer bears my name?
Also, can I sync both devices on the same computer, or is it better to use different computers for the two devices?
    Thank you!

    Agile,
Any of the above will work, depending how you would like to set it up.
Given that kids tend to eventually grow up and be independent, the best long term answer for most people is to let her have her own account and her own library as soon as she can handle it.  Keep in mind that content purchased from the iTunes Store is permanently tied to the account from which it was originally purchased, so separating later is a challenge.
If you want to sync multiple devices to the same library, that will work.  Or if you want separate libraries (as I would recommend), they can be either on separate computers or on separate Windows user accounts on the same PC.
For the name change:  Connect the device.  When the name appears in the left sidebar of iTunes, highlight it and change it.

  • One computer, one iTunes account, multiple devices and iCloud accounts, help!

We have a family MacBook and have always held a single iTunes account. We have multiple devices (iTunes Match has proved to be very useful). We have 2 x iCloud accounts. This causes an issue in terms of synchronisation. Is it possible to synch calendars and photos? As mentioned, the music is no longer an issue with iTunes match. Is there a way that we can synch calendars and photos without having to use a single iCloud account? In addition, the only reason we have separate iCloud accounts is for email. Can I keep my mobile.me email without an iCloud account?

I personally would recommend to use different iCloud account for your own stuff like email, calendars, reminders etc. If you want to have a calendar for your family then just share it via your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Yes, you could keep you me,com email address but it should be migrated to icloud because MobileMe was shut down.

  • ICloud with multiple devices sharing 1 itunes PC

We have a number of apple devices, some ipod nanos, 3 ipod touches, and an iphone. All share itunes on one PC for music, videos, apps etc.
The ipods and iphone now have the iCloud option from IOS5. I get the general idea of iCloud sharing the info of one user across multiple devices. How does it work the other way, when there are multiple users that may want some parts kept private, such as photos, facebook etc?
Each device has quite a few Gb of backup on the PC, will that alone kill iCloud? There is about 10 to 40Gb on the devices, mostly different apps and music on them.
Should it be viewed as one iCloud account per user? Is that possible from one itunes on the PC?
I dread switching it on and finding my family have now had all their devices merged and ready to do unspeakable things to me (they take angry birds very seriously).

A single account would mean you all shared the same calendars, contacts, Photo Stream and email, but they can all be turned off individually, iTunes and the app store are separate accounts but it sounds as though you already have a single account for those any way, but again you can turn off automatic downloads and have each device sync different music and apps if you wish. It won't affect Facebook in any way.
If you have seperate iCloud accounts you would ideally need different user accounts on the PC.

  • One itunes account multiple devices in family - help

I have one itunes account but multiple devices used by the family and I am having conflicts with sharing and face time, imessage etc.
    Listed devices
Me - iphone 5, Ipad mini, Apple Tv, Macbook Pro 13" (just purchased)
    Wife - iphone 5, ipad
Daughter - iphone 4, ipad mini
    Son - iphone 4
    Son - ipad
At the moment we all use one itunes account (mine) we all have our own email adresses etc.
I have itunes U which can be accessed.
The problem is everyone wants to use face time and imessage etc but I keep having conflicts with the devices sharing eachothers messages etc. Plus not eveyone wants to share photos etc so how do you manage that across mulitple devices.
Is it a set up issue or is it easier for everyone to have their own accounts.
    Thanks

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
You could simply ensure that only the numbers and addresses you wish to use on each device are checked at Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. However this isn’t an ideal solution because the other person can always change these settings from their device and have some fun with you and your contacts.
You’d be far better getting them to delete your account from their device and have them create one of their own. If you are sharing an ID for some other service such as iTunes, you can continue to do so, you only need change the ID for messages.

  • Sync multiple devices owned by other family members to one iTunes account

I am wondering if it is OK since we have one imac computer running iTunes in the house, but I have an iphone and ipad, my son has an iphone, my daughter has and ipod, and my wife has an iphone, if it is OK to be syncing all of our devices under MY login in iTunes.  Or should I log out of iTunes and have that particular person log in to iTunes each time we sync?  Not sure how that would work though when each device is set up to sync over wifi if I stay logged in on the computer and in iTunes.  I just hate to see all the apps in the apps section of the iTunes/Devices/Sync Apps.  Not a problem though since it does keep them seperate...most of the time.  I mean, it seems as though a few times I have hooked up a device and it corrupted my sync causing all my newly synced devices to change the apps.  Only happened a few times.  This is kind of vague info, but it hasn't happened only a few times and I don't know how better to explain it.  The main question here is as stated in the beginning.
Also, on a seperate note that I'll rant about in a seperate listing, I really hate the fact that I have to login into iTunes with a third party (Gmail) email address.  I converted over from a PC and from Google Android to a Mac and iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple TV....and I have set up everyone with @me.com addresses, but we can't login to iTunes/Apple ID with them.

That doesnt apply very well. Everyone in my family has a separate account. Although for the main home sharing and apple tv it is off my account. I suppose that it is a good thing that we use one pc since everything stored on the hard rive that I sync to iTunes is then available for any user to sync to there device. Ie; home videos, movies ripped from DVD, CDs, etc...plus I have one original,iPod touch with no cloud support. I just synced it to my itunes on our one pc and it transferred to my pc over 640 purchases. Albeit they were all free, but now I have to sift through them all in the iTunes/devices/sync apps screen. Oh well. It actually seems as though the way I'm doing it is the best for my family of six with many multiple devices and im sure more to come in time. Again I can always sign out and let someone else sign into iTunes. A plus this way since still all my media is on my pc and network storage drive.

  • I have one apple ID for multiple devices in my family.  I'd like to keep it that way for itunes/app purchases.  I would like a simple step 1, step 2, step 3 response on what I need to do to separate all other features like imessage, contacts, emails, etc.

I have one apple ID for multiple devices in my family.  I'd like to keep it that way for itunes/app purchases.  I would like a simple step 1, step 2, step 3 response on what I need to do to separate all other features like imessage, contacts, emails, etc.
I have been reasearching how to do this on the internet, but I haven't found an easy explanation yet.  My family is going crazy over each others imessages being sent to others in the family and not being able to use FaceTime because of conflicting email addresses.  I have read that if each person gets their own iCloud account, this would work.  However, I need to know what to do after I set everyone up with their own iCloud account.  Do I make that the default email address to be contacted or can they still use their hotmail email addresses.  Any help- with easy explanation- would be much appreciated!!

We do this in my family now.  We have one account for purchases, so it is used to share music and apps (I think that is in Settings/iTunes & App Stores).  Each iDevice has this configured.
Then, each of us has our own iCloud account that is configured under Settings/iCloud.  That then allows us to have our own Mail/Contacts/Calendars/Reminders/Safari Bookmarks/Notes/Passbook/Photo Stream/Documents & Data/Find My iPhone/and Backup.  That Backup piece is pretty sweet and comes in handly if you replace your iDevice.  You can just restore from it.
So we all share the Apple Store account but we all have our own iCloud accounts to keep the rest seperate or things like you mentioned are a nightmare.
In answer to what iCloud does for you: http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/
Think of it as an internet based ("cloud") area for all of those items listed in my response.  What you need to remember is photo stream only maintans the last 1000 pictures so don't count it as a complete backup solution for your pictures.  Even though I rarely sync with a computer these days, I do still try to sync my phone with iPhoto (I have an iMac) so that I have copies of all of my pictures.  1000 may not stretch as far as it sounds.

  • Multiple devices using the one Apple ID

    Hi
We have multiple devices (2 x iPhone and 2 x iPod Touch) that use the one Apple ID for our family.  As we all have separate email accounts, calendars and contacts, do we need to create individual Apple ID for iCloud syncing and iTunes purchases or is it possible to destinguish devices use the one ID?
Appreciate any guidance here, as not keen on setting up new Apple ID's for young children.
    Thanks

Sorry, just want to chime in and say that we have this issue too. We have only three devices, Mac, PC, and iPod touch. But we have two each of separate email accounts, address books, and calendars. We decided several years ago to use one Apple ID for iTunes only on one computer and the iPod. But how will several adults in a family share an Apple ID and iTunes login, but enable separate email, contacts, and calendars in iCloud? We really want this to work.
    Thanks very much!
OH, wait - it looks like it is answered here:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3102518
The answer is a little bit hard to understand, so I will keep reading. We did not have Mobile me addresses, so I guess we will create two new ones.
I'll post more threads if I find them.

    CREATE A NEW USER
Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Users & Groups
Decide on whether to setup as Admin or Standard User.
Switch to the New User by logging out under the Apple in the Menu Bar or use Fast User Switching
Fast User Switching allows other users to leave current applications and windows open. Depending on RAM, you might need to log out rather than use FUS.

  • Multiple devices, one email - how can I see from iPad if I've replied from iPhone.

Hi, I use both my iPhone and iPad to access my email. When I reply to a message on a device, I get an icon on the email on that device showing that I've replied. However, when I access the same email account from the other device, I don't see a replied icon. Any way I can get the replies synching so that I van see if I've replied across multiple devices?
(Particularly useful since my wife and I share one of the emails we access so useful to see if the other one of us has replied)
    Thanks
