BT ARE THIEVES

BT are just a bunch of thieves i have being with them over 30 years and never being in debt in fact always in credit but in the last month they stole over £100 from my bank account without telling me or without my permission which mean they broken U.K law which i will be making into a legal matter, when i did find out by myself over a month late they said it was took for a phone engineer who came out to fix a fault which was down to BT to start with,  this is why they want you on DD with paperless bills so they can take your money any time knowing you won't look at your bills to much online so most likley they will get away with overcharging you or putting it in common terms, stealing your money. If you don't go on paperless bills they charge you for your own bills but they try to say it a discount but that untrue it a charge which most other companys don't do, it just a con. DO NOT GO NEAR OR STAY WITH BT THERE LOADS OF OTHER BETTER AND CHEAPER COMPANY'S FOR PHONE AND BB.

  • I was double billed for CC on 12/30/14.. Adobe less than helpful

I signed up for the creative cloud membership on 12/30, but there was a problem with your website when I tried processing my payment, and it told me to try again in a few minutes.  So I did, and it went through.  I then got a call from my bank with fraud alert because there were 2 charges for $119.88 that ended up going through.  Because I told my bank that I didn't authorized 2 charges, they canceled my card and I'm having to deal with getting a replacement - which is an inconvenience as it is.. so I called you guys about it the next day and the woman who answered told me I would need to call back after a couple days because she didn't have the ability to credit back the duplicate charge (that's NOT 'great' service) ... so today I got around to trying to contact you to find out your phone lines are closed, so I guess chatting is my only option.. so I tried that, and their chat service doesn't give me any update as to how long it will be before someone comes on to help me.  Judging by all the other posts about this issue, it would appear that Adobe is intentionally double billing customers and making it very difficult to have the issue resolved.

    Vikram V: Hi Mark
Vikram V: Please allow me a moment while I review your issue.
mark: I don't have much time left.. your guys chat service is terrible.. .it didn't give me any notice of how long I might be waiting for a response, or where I was in queue, or anything. I was starting to think you guys were closed. This is very frustrating.
Vikram V: I understand your frustration, I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
Vikram V: I am sorry to inform you that the applications are down currently hence we are unable to check the information, I request you to please contact us back after few hours so that we will be able to assist you better.
Vikram V: We are sorry but Adobe.com and related services are experiencing system maintenance. Our apologies for the inconvenience and request you to check  back after 6-7 hours as our IT/Web team is working on this.
mark: holy crap... are you freaking kidding me?
mark: No - that's not acceptable. I want a supervisor or manager to own this and contact me back within 48 hours letting me know that the double charge has been adjusted. You guys are thieves. this is ridiculous
mark: I have to go, but I will expect a call back on Monday with confirmation of credit, from a Supervisor or Manager.
Yeah.. .that's world-class customer service.  No notice of how long it will take for someone to assist me, or anything.  I would expect better service from a company like Adobe.

  • Roaming and PINS in Vietnam

    Hi All,
I'm traveling to Vietnam for a couple of weeks on vacation.  My provider is Tmobile, and I've purchased the BB Roaming Plan that allows me to PIN and use BB email without charge while I'm out of the country.  Tmobile continues to give me inconsistent advice on how to use my phone in Vietnam with incurring ridiculous charges ($15/mb).  Do you know which connections I need to turn on or leave off in Vietnam so that I don't (1) incur internet use charges and (2) I can still PIN or BB email my friends for free?
    Thanks!!

    hello,
1 and 2 are opposite, you can't have both at the same time.
    2) requires either roaming (and then you see for real that carriers are thieves) or buying a pay as you go BlackBerry plan at a local carrier in Vietnam.
    1) can be achieved by going there : home screen >> manage connections >> set up network >> data usage and set it to "yes except if roaming".

  • Creative Zen Micro dissapointm

Bought my Zen Micro early June 2005 only to have the headphone jack problem (where the jack gets loose and everything in the headphones get distorted at the slightest touch of it) and had it RMA'd mid Sept 2005. However once again now it has happened again but e-mail support didn't exactly want to help me out saying I was outside my 'complimentary e-mail support period', which is something every person who spends $300+ wants to hear. Now to charge $85+$25 for diagnostics and handling is nuts, anyone recommend me going to an IPod?

  • Charged for no service - STAY AWAY FROM BT THEY AR...

Ok so I decided to sign up for BT Infinity and tv package with BT sports in January. Was due to be installed on 23/01/2015.
I booked a half day off work for the installation and was impressed when the landline engineer called at 1.30pm. He told me that he was only doing the landline and another engineer would probably be out to do the TV.
Landline engineer worked away on the line and about 2.00pm I had a call from the TV engineer to say there was a fault in the line so would not be installing my tv. When I asked when he could install it he just said I don't know. From his attitude I could tell he wasn't bothered it was a Friday after noon so he just wanted to go home.
I was really annoyed with this as I had picked the Friday specifically and waited 3 weeks for installation for that Friday. I rang BT and asked them what was happening, I asked if he could come out on a Saturday to install the TV but I was told no they dont do Saturday installations. So I decided I wasnt going to go ahead with my installation and cancelled my order.
I was told to tell the landline engineer to leave as I was cancelling. I spoke to landline engineer and told him what I was doing. He then said he would speak to them as he was at the box the same time as the TV engineer and he didnt see any fault. The engineer spoke to customer services and told them I was cancelling my order.
As far as I was concerned that was it. My order was cancelled I was getting my refund of £90.71 and I would receive a bag to send the equipment back.
In February I received a bill for £22.41, I rang customer services as I still hadn't received my £90.71 and now they were billing me for a service I didn't ever have.
Result of call I got my £90.51 back and heard no more, great I thought that was easily sorted.
Wrong in March I got a final reminder for payment of £22.41, again I rang the lovely people in customer service and spoke to a very confused man who kept asking why I was being billed, this I thought was very amusing as that was my question to him. He said leave it with him and he would call my number back in 30 minutes. Guess what 30 minutes no call.
In my stupidity I assumed it had been sorted.
Last week I get a message from BPO to say ring this number immediately regarding BT. I rang the number and was put through to the most arrogant and ignorant woman I have ever had the misfortune to speak to.
I tried to explain my situation but she kept talking over me and in the end she said tough I was being billed for BT Sports as this should have been cancelled seperately. I told her noone ever explained that to me in all my communications with BT and she wasnt interested just advised me to pay up.
So today I rang BT to ask why this had gone to collections and what was my bill of £22.41 for. The nice lady told me she would look into it and transferred me to another nice lady. The 2nd nice lady said I should have contacted them before today!! I said I did and nothing happened. She explained that the £22.41 was for my landline charge. When I said I cancelled the day of the connection she said I needed to ring the nice people in BPO again as there was nothing she could do.
So now I have an outstanding bill of £22.41 plus admin fees of £5.60 from BT for nothing. BT think I just need to pay it and go away. Well as you can imagine I am fuming.
DO NOT USE BT AS THEY ARE THIEVES.

  • Bt are a bunch of thieves, bullies and incompetent...

Here we go guys, this is my story with my encounter with the infamous BT.
After a year of acceptable service it was unfortunately time for me to move house. As my contract with bt was coming to an end we decided to renew our contract and set up a home move after being told that our new house had a bt line. We found out the next day the new house did not have a BT line. We then called BT to cancel and was told it was about 30 pounds to cancel the contract which I thought was ridiculous as the contract had only been agreed 24 hours ago. I reluctantly agreed to pay this and all was well. At the end of the month 30 pounds came out of my account and all was rosy.
After moving house and setting up our new services with Sky (who are excellent by the BT), my wife and I decided to merge our accounts a couple of months later. Lo and behold we saw that we had been paying money every month to BT for our old house. Unhappily I called BT and after lengthy conversations with incompetent customer service advisors it was found the only thing that was cancelled was the home move not the contract.
I then asked them to listen to the phone call that they claim to record and listen to us stating we wish to cancel our contract and the advisor confirming this. BT then sent us a bill for over 150 pounds to settle the contract. After complaining about this I got passed from pillar to post with many incompetent fools repeating we agreed to the terms and conditions of the contract therefore had to fulfill it. After letters and e-mails asking the company To reconsider as I believe they have broken trading laws by not informing me on how much the cancellation charge would be which could affect my decision to cancel and the original advisor LYING telling me my contract had been cancelled not just the home move, myself and my wife felt intimidated to pay as they started mentioning debt collectors and defaults if we refused to pay. All we asked for was to be released from the contract free of charge, not even a refund for the 3 months we paid at a empty house, not much to ask really as it was their fault.
Well BT this is for you now. I have consulted legal council and they agree we have a case against yourselves and will be pursuing legal proceedings. We will not be bullied by a thieving company like yourselves. We are also in contact with trading standards and have passed all correspondence to them who are currently investigating as stated in our unresolved letter to yourselves. To stop you doing this too other people I have also given all information over to watchdog researchers so make sure you smile when your on the bbc if your not to cowardly to go on.
For everyone reading this if you feel like you have been wronged by companies like this, don't just allow them to bully you. Contact legal teams or ombudsmen and we will stop these thieving bullies. Thanks for listening and we will see if anyone from BT dares to comment.

Got to say that I completely understand. I was a long standing (10 year plus) customer who has just had the experience that I had always dismissed from others as "over egging it!".
My experience was with asking BT to help with nuisance calls.... They put me through to a foreign call centre (pretty standard so far) and explained that they couldn't help me unless they charged me for a service, I was unhappy about the charges and was escalated to a manager who had spoke to me and 100% confirmed that there would not be any charge on my account.
3 months later when by bill is produce I have 50 in charges for a service I never authorised to be charged to me. I called the customer service teams and spoke to UK Customer retention teams etc only to be told that they pulled the call, and did not have a recording of the conversation with the manager, therefore I must pay?....
After multiple calls and after the 4th evening spent pulling my hair out with the teams trying to explain why I want the charges removed I finally said ok I want to leave..... I am then put through to apart another team.
During the ensuing conversation the gentleman put in a cease service request and then explained to move I would have an issue if the service was stopped. Realising the this would be a mistake I asked him to stop the cancellation order and give me the Mac code - I was told this was done and all was fine.
Last night I called the customer services team again reference the erroneous charges on my account and finally get to an official complaint being raised. However this morning at 10am I return home to find my phone and internet service has been cancelled!!!
I have called BT asking them to put the service back on until we resolve the billing issue, only to be told they cannot until I commit to another 12 months (effectively holding a gun to my head!)....
I have now decided to leave these bullies and move my broadband / tv and phone to another we'll know provider. I will keep up the fight with their customer service teams until they recognise that they have contravened every consumer protection regulation I can think of in this space, and they have lost a loyal and supportive (and lucrative) customer in to the mix.
I will be ensuring that all of my staff (for whom I pay their b.band as homeworkers) migrate off the service and any business premises I work with in the future avoids this target driven, un sympathetic and incompetent customer service team!
I understand BT received Money Week's WOODEN SPOON for their readerships voted Worst Customer Service of 2013 (managing to beat the tax man by dole the number of votes!)...... How times change eh! What happened to Busbee!
    Disappointed....

  • Why are Adobe lying thieves?

I cancelled a product I no longer used. I stopped using it a couple years ago. They love taking your money, and they love sending emails, but notice they NEVER send an email thanking you for another year's subscription when it might alert you to the fact they just jacked your bank account for another year on a product you're no longer using. But that's on me. Fine. So I managed to catch the charge within a day of it processing. I cancelled the product. I was promised a refund. Weeks went by.
    No refund.
So I used the only method of communication that seems available, chat. Via chat I am promised this will be corrected. I will receive my refund in a few days. Weeks went by.
    No refund.
So I went back to the chat. This time they said something about increasing the "priority" (how about just sending me the damn money?) of my case. They said I would receive an email update on the status of my case. Days went by.
    No refund.
So I am back a third time on the chat right now. Gauranteed another hour of the run around. Hey moron Adobe thieves, I'm costing your company more in labor than if you'd just send me my damn refund. And I will not stop. If I have to sue you I will. I have more time than money.

    Adobe ExportPDF
Cancellation processed 3 March 2015. Refund "processed" 5 March 2015.
But I don't see how you could do any better than the now 3 people who have promised this would be resolved. Quote from the third chat discussion I referenced in OP:
" I see and the relevant team are working on this. I will personally follow up this case and make sure you will be contacted at the earliest. "
See, personally following up on it. "Relevant team" are working on this. Working hard I'm sure. Because it takes A WHOLE TEAM A MONTH TO PROCESS ONE REFUND.
I wanted to contact this "team" personally, since they seem to be ignoring the chat men who make big promises, here was the reply to this request:
Can I talk with the "relevant team"? Because they seem to be ignoring your messages.
Harsha Vardhan: I am sorry, the team works offline and hence I will approach them and make sure this will be examined at the earliest.
At the earliest. I'm sure I'm in good hands and this will all be sorted out timely.

  • My iPhone 5c was stolen. I am using Find my iPhone to track it but it has said offline for 2 days now. Can I expect it to eventually show up on find my iPhone when the phone is turned back on, or are there ways for thieves to get around this?

I had my iPhone 5c stolen this Tuesday afternoon while I was at the beach. Immediately after I noticed it missing I called the phone and it was off. I called the phone continuously later that night but it remained off. I did not use the Find my iPhone app until the following morning, however.
The phone has said offline for 2 days now. I'm wondering...is it reasonable to assume that eventually the phone will get turned back on and I will get a location? Or do thieves have ways around this? I do have a passcode on my phone. Once the phone is turned on to the locked screen, is it connected to the internet?
I filed a police report but the police seem to be pretty disinterested in helping me recover my phone. I literally got this thing on Monday and had it stolen Tuesday the next day. I was so excited about my new phone so I realize now I was texting like a little girl out there and probably was an easy target. Never bringing anything of value to the beach again, thats for sure.

i m also put passcode in my iphone...but i dont know that how i know that my passcode is crack by someone???and same as police is not interested to find out it..
    i want ma iphone backkk...........

  • BT are a thieving mega-corporation

I live in the country and therefore my broadband supplier options and connection speed are limited. Living some way off from the nearest exchange, unfortunately fibre optics / cable wont reach my house for another few decades. Having naively signed up for the BT autumn deal some time ago (migrating from Orange to save money), I ended up getting mugged on what I ended up paying after the promotion had ended. Having a few grown up kids in the house, they download movies and films, so when the £9.99 a month deal had run it's course, I started paying £60+ on my phone bills. So, I reluctantly went for the BT unlimited deal and manged to get my bill down to £42 a month (considerably more than Orange). If that wasn't bad enough, the speed was painfully tortoise slow (from experience, Broadband is surprisingly miles faster in many parts of the emerging world) Adding insult to injury, the connection then kept failing. So, I rang the expensive so called BT helpline, (that obviously BT profit from) and got pushed from pillar to post before I was told that if I wanted an engineer to come out and investigate that could be arranged, but it might cost me a few hundred quid if they could pin the plame on me in any way. Bless them. Anyway, enough was enough and I binned BT off for Sky. I now pay at least half the monthly cost and the connection and upload / download speed is heaps better. On leaving BT, of course they tell you that you owe them money for not seeing out your massively expensive contract through and they mugged me for another £150ish quid. It was in the small print I never read I guess. Of course you have to pay it as they have you over a barrel in supplying the land line. Thankfully I will still save twice that on the new deal with Sky over the course of a year. When you ring up to find out how much you owe BT, of course they try and keep you on the line (that you are paying for) to tell you that might now try and do a deal. I think it's disgusting that they hoodwink you into deals, rob you blind after the promo period and put in a sneaky severance charge for what has been a truly appalling service. To put it into context I was paying £500 a year for a very slow broadband connection that kept failing. They have a monopoly on supplying telecomms services and basically seem to get away with daylight robbery. I HATE BT with a vengence and rant about them to my family, friends and colleagues. Sky wasn't an option when I signed up for BT, but thank goodness they can now supply my area.

Calls to BT are free using their listed 0800 numbers

  • I recently received my new iPhone 4 from my carrier since my old one was stolen. I restored my new iPhone from my old iPhones iCloud back up but now all the pictures that were stored in my old phone are blurry in my new phone. Please help!

Luckily, using the "Find My iPhone" app, I was able to scare the thieves into bringing my iPhone back to the place they stole it from (Dave and Busters..on my BIRTHDAY OF ALL DAYS). So now, $169 later (deductible for replacement iPhone), I have both my 1st iPhone and my replacement. On my first iPhone, I have all of my pictures saved and they are very clear, but when I restored my replacement iPhone from my original iPhones iCloud backup, all the pictures that I took in my original iPhone are blurry! I thought about backing up my original iPhone through iTunes and then resetting my replacement iPhone and restoring it from my original iPhones settings but I dont want to lose all of my new pictures I took. I know this sounds confusing (well, it looks confusing, since you cant actually hear me) but I could use all the help I can get!

No such thing has occurred.  iPhones do not backup to one another.
It is not possible to backup a different iPhone from the one being updated.
If the iPhone was restored with a backup from a different device, restore it again from the correct backup.

Pay attention when restoring the iPhone and select the correct backup to restore from.
