BUG? 11G Production: subversion client

When using the plus(+) icon to add source files to subversion repository from "Pending Changes" list I got prompted for the svn repository URL. This, of course is nonsensical sense JDeveloper just queries the svn repository to determine that these source files need to be added to the repository. Pressing cancel from this dialog resulted in JDeveloper performing the svn add operations correctly. So this is just a nuisance. :-)

I was able to determine that migrating to the production release did not migrate the subversion URL and connection information to the subversion navigator (but the projects were able somehow to login to subversion properly). I have re-entered my URL and connection information and all seems to be well.

I am trying to install Oracle 11g 64 bit client on Windows 7 64 Bit Professional. I'm running setup as administrator and all prerequisites fail with Actual Value not Found Expected value not found. I select ignore and press next and the application just silently shuts down. Log is too big so here is an abbreviated log.
    Here is the installation log

I disagree with your assessment, for two reasons.
One is the severity for RAM is listed as Severity:IGNORABLE.
Secondly I just saw this happen to myself just a moment ago (which is how I found this threat) as well using a silent install on a Windows 2008r2 server I can install to using the setup.exe manually. so disk and memory really isn't an issue.
I suspect something else is going on here. If you read those warnings the Critical they are just the last two about disk space and the PATH variable. Perhaps I am not running as elevated as I thought or the C$ share is not reach able. I am going to keep trying and will report back here when I get my silent install working.

  • JDeveloper 11.1.2.1.0 Can't edit subversion client config

I'd like to change the subversion client config to enable auto-props but can't find an option to do this in JDeveloper. Tools->Preferences...->Versioning->Subversion->General only appears to have an option for modifying the server parameters. Anybody know how I can change the subversion client config through JDev?

Makes sense. Editing the svn 'servers' file through JDev displays it's path at the top of editor:
    C:\Documents and Settings\BLACKADR\Application Data\JDeveloper\system11.1.2.1.38.60.81\o.jdeveloper.subversion
and I can see that there is also a default 'config' file in this same folder so I guess this must be the one JDev will pick up. Will think about raising an enhancement request for an Edit "Client config" option in the JDev Preferences dialog. Thanks for your help.

  • Bug in production Server !!!

    HI all,
There is a bug in production server. Error message i am getting is :-
"There is an IDoc in the Warehouse outbox that did not arrive in the ALE inbox of the source system."
It is a master data that gets loaded in ODS. I have checked in PSA but there is no request in that ODS. Data has not arived.
Can anyone help me to solve this bug urgently....

    Hi there,
    I don't think there's a bug in your system.
What the message tells you is:
BI have sent a question to a source system. The message has left BI but not reached the source systems inbox.
    This is probably due to:
    1. RFC connection was down at load time?
    2. Not enough resources were availiable to handle the IDOCs
You should be able to re-run the load after having made sure in SM59 that everything is OK with the RFC-connections.
Why are you looking i n PSA if the request of getting data hasn't even reached the source system?
    Kind regards
    /martin

  • Odd subversion client behavior - has anyone seen this?

We are using DW CS4 with the subversion client for version control. One of our developers, working on a mac with OS X v 10.5.6, sees odd behavior when using 'Put' to send a file from his local copy to either a testing server or the remote site. What happens is - any unopened folders in the local copy get + signs indicating they don't exist in the svn repository. The  + signs don't appear if the folder is already opened, and they go away on a refresh or on switching between any of the left pane sites (test, remote and repository).  I tried replicating this behavior on a windows box (virtual machine running w2K server 2003 SP 2, terminal services, accessed via RDP) but could not replicate.
Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is it a harmless annoyance or something more? Any feedback would be great- thank you!

Thanks, appreciated.  I was just looking for somebody to put this in perspective.
I've also seen performance & stability issues with the SVN client - it chokes if you try to check out too many files at once, for example when first populating a local copy from a repository.  I would be interested to know if Adobe has a set of best practices for initial setup of repositories and local copies as this would be very helpful, especially for large sites where there might be some valuable ways to save time in setup.

  • Expected date for Jdeveloper 11g production version

i am planning to start development with jdeveloper (Forms 6i background). but with latest version.
If you can help me out of dates of jdeveloper 11g production release.
it will save my troubleshooting time.
Also help me out some starting point to be successful projects using jdeveloper.
    In forms successful,
    It is so simple.
    1. create table.
    2. use forms wizard (block and layout).
    3. make layout change as per your need.
    4. add buttons and validation.
    5. done.
    But in Jdeveloper.
What is the best practice. ??
    thanks in advance.

    Hi,
there will be a technology preview 3 out shortly to christmas. There exist no concrete release date of JDeveloper 11 production.
Start at otn.oracle.com/products/jdev and check some of the tutorials (OBE). Note that for you to learn building JSF web applications, I suggest to use the 10.1.3 tutorials and how-tos.

  • OBIEE 11g production server

    Hi All ,
Can any buddy suggest me , Which OS will be suitable for OBIEE 11g production server from the below mentioned .
    1. Windows 2003 x32
    2. Windows 2003 x64
    Thanks In Advance ,
    Anto Qujes

    Hi anto,
I would suggest and best recommendation is,there wont be any problems when you go with this.
As admin tool is 32-bit supported, even that would be feasible.I personally installed on this one without any errors.
Even Rittman Mead suggested this one in there blogs.
    1. Windows 2003 x32 Hope helps you.

  • Bug in Azure CLI client to update ACL

The 0 CIDR part here is clearly valid, the web UI allows me to add it. Perhaps a bug in the CLI client?

    azure vm endpoint acl-rule

is the command I used, where theorem-abeer.cloudapp.net is the command I used.

  • Oracle 11g or higher client is not installed or not set to Primary Oracle..

    Hi all,
I have installed oracle 11g client on my machine. It connecting fine with the server throuhg sqlplus but when i connect my application that is developed in power builder, it prompts an errror message stated 'Oracle 11g or higher client is not installed or not set to Primary Oracle Home'. I have tried different solutions from different posts over the internet but colud not get fruitfull results.
Please help me out in this regard to continue...
    Thanks & Regards,

As already said, this looks like a powerbuilder issue, related to how it "finds" Oracle client/oci libraries.
Assuming this is on Windows, you could use Process Monitor from Sysinternals to watch what your app does (e.g. where it looks for dll's). It's a great troubleshooting tool: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645
Google provides some results with similar issues. Maybe you have tried most of it already, but at least as a reference for others: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=powerbuilder+%22oracle11g+or+higher+client+is+not+installed%22

  • Subversion Client on Solaris v10 With Containers

    Hi,
I am hoping if you could assist me. I have been sent round in circles.
we currently have a solaris v10 setup where we have a server and multiple containers(virtual machines) .. Now when we normally install a client s/w we will install it on the server and then it will filter through the various conatiners.
I need to know if subversion client supports this? If i install the client on teh main server, will it prompt me to filter down to the various containers? Will it ask me ehcih containers i want to filter down to ?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks Kindly
    Naren

The syntax of ldapclient changed in Solaris 9 (at least by 9 12/03). You now specify it like this:
    # ldapclient -v init -a profileName=cn=myProfile,ou=profile,dc=example,dc=comIf you're using Proxy Authentication add the following:
-a proxyDN=cn=proxyagent,ou=profile,dc=example,dc=com -a proxyPassword=ClearTextPWYou should have been able to create a profile (storing it in the DIT) when you ran idsconfig. If you took the default name of "default" (cn=default,ou=profile,dc=example,dc=com) you might not even have to specify the profile name to ldapclient.
To generate a new profile and store it in the DIT use:
$ ldapclient -vgenprofile -a profileName=cn=myProfile,ou=profile,dc=example,dc=com -a defaultSearchBase=dc=example,dc=com ...With your various attributes for your profile as specified in ldapclient(1M).
As for pam, you have to decide which you're going to use: pam_unix or pam_ldap. Note that the Solaris pam_ldap is very different from the PADL pam_ldap used under Linux and elsewhere (this makes it easy to find apparently conflicting advice).

  • XE 11g Production

According to Oracle magazine, XE 11g "production" was meant to have been released at time of magazine printing ....it is now at least a month on from the magazine release and still no sign.
What on earth is going on?
